Holiday Golden Glades Boutique Hotel / Bad service and dishonesty
On Friday 8 March my family and I stayed at this Hotel in Miami. At approximately 2:00am one of daughters woke up and was complaining about something in the bed. She noticed several bedbugs and found them by using her cell phone light. We quickly turned on the lights and saw at least 4-5 bed bugs crawling on the bed. We called the front desk and they sent someone up and saw the bugs. Afterwards, they moved us to another room about 2:25. The guy at the front desk was very rude and said it wasn't his fault there were bedbugs in the room. Both of my girls had several bites on their back, arms and legs. We took video of the bedbugs to show proof. This was by far the worst night in my entire travels.
When we checked out the lady at the front desk stated there we would not be charged for the room. Considering all the problems we had with the bedbugs I would expect not. However, when I got my credit card bill for March it reflected a charge of $106.65 for this merchant.
