Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas How many times do we need to go and stand in the queue just to exchange our Gas cylinder

We have a Gas Cylinder connection of HP Gas in our house. Since our Cylinder became empty, we wanted to book a new cylinder on the phone. But even after calling the concerned continously, nobody picked up the phone. Then we decided to go to Aundh Gas Office of HP to book our cylinder. When we reached there during working hours, they refused to take the booking. (while booking the gas, they are supposed to issue a receipt after taking the payment). They asked us to come to their office at 8 oclock in the morning the next day.

We duly went their in the morning and found a long queue of people who had not booked the gas and wanted to exchange the cylinder. We too stood in the queue. We stood their for around 45 minutes and then one of the employees of Aundh Gas announced that the cylinders are finished and they no longer would be able to exchange the cylinder. We were again asked to come to the same place on the next day morning at 8. When we requested them to take the booking of our cylinder (so that it can be delivered directly at our residence), they again refused to do the same and talked with us very rudely. How many times do we need to go and stand in the queue just to exchange our Gas cylinder?

I am vinod kumar from etah 'u.p' my HP gas consumer no. 602613 from Sardar Gas Service A-1 holi gate etah 'u.p' and agency phone no. [protected] . i went to gas agency to take the D.B.C but they told me that my D.B.C has alredy passed in 2007 wich is not true becuse i have never taken my D.B.C and even it is not mentioned on my all gas paper so kindly please help me out

I am a consumer of HP gas from Bhubaneswar. My consumer number is 610355. I have booked my gas since the 28th of Jan, 2010 and till today my gas has not been delivered. Every alternate day when I inquire with the agency “Rajdhani Gas” in Micney Mall, CRP Square, Bhubaneswar, they always revert me with the reply that this shall be reaching me the very next day, but their next day did not come till a month. I am an Ex-service person and with this age I have to run for the negligence in service from the Gas Agency. When I inquire from the other consumers of the agency, I come to know that with intend these people neglect in delivering the gas in time, where as generally it should have been delivered within a week. Please suggest me with your advice as to how the gas agency shall compensate for its poor service.

I have booked gas since 6th june 2014 & till today my gas hasn't been delivered.first msg came 7th june that your booking is canceled plz rebook it, then i was again booking today morning then another msg came your gas booking till 11 june 2014. phone -[protected]

Poor customer care service

I have booked my gas last month. ( Dhivya Gas Agency, Ambattur, Chennai ) Till now they have not supplied me the same nor they r picking up the call. Most of the time the phone will be busy. To-day I cal the gas company they told there is Road problem, so they cannot supply, came and collect the Bill from their office and collect the cylinder from their godown. Till now I am not get my cylinder Very very poor customer care service...

HP GAS SERVICE IS VERY POOR, BECAUSE I HAVE BOOK THE GAS CYLINDER DATED 23.01.09 BUT THE AGENCY YET ON DATE 9.02.10
NOT DELIVERED THE CYLINDER,

I WENT THE AGENCY FOUR TIMES BUT THE MANAGER (SHE) SAYS
THIS DAY WE WILL DELIVER THE CYLINDER.

THERE IS NO ANY RESPONSBILITY OF THE MANAGAR.

Dear sir,

Our Consumer no 658784, delay the delivery of gas after booking, having only 1 cylinder in our family now we are using private gas 5kgs cylinder that will be riffling cost @ 280/-its goes only 4 days. We are in middle class family not bear everytime this much amt because it is biggest amt survey to us They were not responding on phone calls they will pick of keeping aside, no’s are 040-[protected] / [protected] & [protected](not working) pl. do the needful. our dealer name.Praveena Gas Agency, Chintal Hyderabad-500054.

I would be thankful if you will take some desired action.

I'm a user of HP Gas for domestic purpose with my consumer no. 605295 dated 25.11.1999 and another connection by name of my uncle Ashok P Agrawal vide consumer no. 100694 dated 08.03.1979.

In both the cases my dealer M/s. Kothari stores, gorelal chowk, Gondia is a registered dealer of supply of HP gas, but sorry to inform you that the said dealer is unable to make the delivery of cylinder in proper time. We have to make lots of exercise to getting the cylinder and if we are in urgent need then I have to go to godown of the dealer for collection of gas cylinder.

has not provided gas cylinder since feb 2011 inspite of several requests...
kindly instruct them to provide cylinders on time.. otherwise change my connection to another dealer who can give delivery on time..

my connection in h.p.gas.in hisar at SAI GAS SERVICE.my conection no is512532'taking a gas sylinder is a very diffucilut work .whan ever i got a sylender is very hard procedure.it takes 3 or 4 round for home dilivery.some time it takes up to two month and 4 to 6 round for getting a cylender,
at persent i book for a sylender at 23-11-07 and yet i do not get a sylender till 3-12-07
is there any solution for it ,i got last cylender in two month excersise,can i got a cylinder at time '

sir/mam i am sudesh kumari from taragarh consumer of hp Gas consumer no(604026), .ir my coustmer copy has been lost accidently and i intimated regarding this to the dealer Asha Rani Dealer Code(725750). i and said them to inactivate the status of previous copy.and issued me the new copy.but they r dnaying to do so.she said me that throw away your boucher it not of use. i think they r looking for money for issueing the new copy.i have booked the cylinder there and they have given me the date 29 dec .dut i have visited to them four to five time. every time they made excuse and did not give me gas cylinder. and their behaviour with the coustmers is not good.they started scolding to coustmers. plz sir help me.and said them to issue me new copy of cylinder.and take some strict action againest the asha rani and their employee thank you sir sudesh kumari phone no [protected] Email id [protected]@gmail.com

Complaint against Bathinda gas service Gali no 5 Power house road bathinda 151005.
My consumer no s 705125. I hv got my last delivery of cylinder on 23-11-2009. And ur dealer ask me to book my next cylinder after 21 days so i booked my nxt cylinder on 15-12-2009 booking no 3196. But inspite of contacting them several no of times and even personly visting there office 5 times i hv not got my delivery and they r asking me to wait for 10 days more to get delivery. I request u to take needed action against the dealer.

Hi,

Today i went to my gas agency to get my gas refilled, i went at areound 1:40 pm becouse between 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm the agency is closed for lunch time but after reaching their, i tried to get my gas booked which i could not becouse the office staff said that they have just started their lunch and so i have to wait.
even security gaurd at the entrence asked me to wait outside for an half an hour, then i tried calling dealer & he responded that he will check and get the things done for me, which after a while he did.

This was the fourth time and luckly i got through.

I would request that their should be regular check from company end to meet costumer requirements as the service at BADAL AGENCY Vashi are gone bad to worst .

I booked my cylinder refil of M/S H P GAS(GANGA ENTPS) PANHSHEEL GARDEN, SHAHDARA-DELHI-32, on 11/01/2011 thru toll free No. of the CO. [protected] as no direct booking of cylinder is entertained at the agency s office. But I am sorry to poiont out that till date I have not got my cylinder refilled. I have been visiting Agency
M/s Ganga Entps, time and again for the last one week, but everytime
their reply is that the cylinder will be sent tommorow. Only God knows
when their tommorow will come. I, therefore, request kindly look into the matter and monitor the activities of this agency .

Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas cheating in filling petrol

I am a regular customer of hindustan petroleum and fill petrol in my caar and even in my byke...
These days I am facing a problem of being cheated in feeling petrol in my car. For more than 5 times I am being cheated. I tell them ti fill a petrol worth rs. 1000.00 and they gice me a check for zero but other person from petrol pump brings a bill and divert my attention and the person filling the petrol stops filling petrol and tells that he has filled petrol worth rs. 1000.00. For this 4 times dealer dident even charged me for feeling petrol but then also this was the first time I was unable to prove that their person have cheated me and so I was helpless this time. Due to this I think I wont go to his dealer any more but will also wait for the company to take action against this dealer.

Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas Fraudulent practice of filing the petrol

i am Jayshree Tupe, regularly filling petrol in my scooty from HP petrol pump, pimple gurav, pimpri-chinchwad, pune, State- Maharashtra, India.
On 23/11/09 at 5.00 pm i visited petrol pump, ask to fill Rs.100/- petrol means nearly 2 Ltr petrol. but after filling up petrol. i found my scooty indicater shows only 1 ltr petrol filled so i compaint him for the same. i told Mr.Vishnu ( Petrol pump person ) to check my petrol tank of scooty. he remove petrol from scooty tank. it is only one litre. means they have filled up only 1 ltr petrol in Rs.100/- so fraud of 1 ltr.

even we have inform this matter to Manager of this petrol pump but no use.

Pls take immediate action for the same

Agency Address: Bimbis Gas Agency,
Joys Bldg, Near Post Office, Main Road, Kaduthuruthy. Phone [protected]
booked for refill cylinder on 22.08.2009. On enquiry on various dates, we are told by the agency staff that the cylinder will be delivered in two days. Every time it will be the reply. On 05.10.2009 I personally called on their office and was assured of delivery by evening. Nobody has turned up. I again telephoned them on Tuesday and was assured of delivery before 5 p.m. They have not delivered. Wednesday their reply is that it will be delivered on Saturday. What is to be done for getting our cylinder refilled. As both of us are employed at distant places and have to cook early morning we find it hard to cook the food for our kids and ourselves in time. Please help us.

Actually we are leaving in Jindal steel township near bellary and H.P. gas service working in this area but distribution system are very poor.If we applie my no. for refilling then there is no conformation to receive gas within 20 to 25 days.and nobody caring our complain.

The HP Transfer voucher is valid for one year from the date of transfer. Now the period lapsed; How to get new connection in the present place, say Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India. Is there any re-validation procedure for the TV.

I had applied for new connection of GAS in Pune NEW SANGHAVI with one of the dealer as his response is very low and most of all learnt from other customers those who pay extra money than that of gas connection they give us the connection VERY FAST.

Please check with the Indu Gas agency no.46, 2nd main, 8th cross, Gandhinagar KHB Colony, Bangalore, Karnataka
Complaint:
> I have booked a gas refill since one month. The Cash Memo has been raised on 26.03.2015 and it has been 4 days since i have not received any cylinder.
> The gas distributors number are either busy and when it thankfully gets connected... No one picks the call.
> The gas agency is being poorly run.
> Last time when i called, they wanted me to come to Gas agency and collect. They are charging additional amount, when i go and collect the cylinder personally.
Is there a better way or forum where this problem can be escalated. It is becoming a challenge to get a cylinder. Perhaps my cylinder has been given to some one else who would have paid more money on top of the actual price. I feel am living in a village, although staying in so called Urban Cyber city Bengaluru. Shame on HP to give license to such distributors.
Hope some action will be taken against this distributor.

I had gone to book the same several times and every time I found that COMPANY/HP GAS BOOKING STATION has kept the phone in hold position, I checked it whether it is really for hold. But I found that they have done it so that nobody could make them call. They are making the people fool and they are totally failed to provide the best services to customers.

I request to all of you and to HP Company please do something so that the mischief could not be continuing.

As we are HP GAS CONSUMER with gas no.653688 as our concern gas agency is AISHWARYA GAS AGENCY malakpet

when we call for booking they were not taking, they werre asking for book on 27 th but we receieved the gas on 31-08-10

after 20 days also they were not taking booking and also they were taking 8 days time after booking when we Mr. Raju

operator attended the phone they were not feeling responsible to give answer in proper way.

please consider and look into the matter for delivery of gas.

I have a great complaint with Hp Professional and its dealers. My consumer No. is 626880. we have this connection almost 5 yrs. ago. Wow days whenever we book the gas on online, our dealer "MADHU GAS AGENCY" never delivered the gas as per committed time since one week whenever i called (everyday) it will be deliver today. my recent online requesation date and no. My Consumer No.P21045, Padma Gas Agency, Namalagundu, Secunderabad.
I had booked gas on 08/10/09 and at that time they said delivery will be within one week. After one week when I enquired they said they had already delivered the cylinder and immediately they disconnect. Continuously since then I am trying to explain my problem but in vain. Today after calling again they say one week. Actually I don't understand, this oneweek business. What can I do? Whatevery I am trying to say they are not listening. Is there anybody to help me.

Sir,
I am the residence of the punjab state, india. Distt. Ropar, tehsil: anandpur sahib. In our area anandpur sahib there is no gas agency. Due to this all the residence of this area are suffering from shortage of lpg gas. Actually in our area there is sub agency from kurali. But due to fixing between their servicemen they are blacking the gas cylinders. Duet to common person is suffering. Please do something for our area whether supply for our area should increase form one truck to two trcuks daily. Or open some independent own agency of our area. I heard so many persons are willing to take agency but due to political pressure from kurali gas agency they can't take it.

I am very much fed up with HP Gas and feeling uncomfortable with gas. There is always shortage for gas cylinders with Gas Dealer, Kalka Gas at Pinjore (Haryana). I have booked the gas on 31.01.09 and till date the gas cylinder is not provided except this they are denying to supply for next 10 days also. Every time they are refusing to saying that NO STOCK at Godown. And i m also fed up with the dealing hand at Kalka Gas Service. I have 2 cylinders and both are empty with stupid dealing of HP gas services.

Today while taking petrol I noticed that another guy came and disturbed me. I was keeping a eye on the pump reading, when suddenly I saw that one of the guys there touched the number pad on the pump and suddenly the reading went from Rs 750 to Rs 1000. When I confronted them, they said that this is not the case and all. But I am sure that this happened. As my car petrol reading was only half way thru. Now capacity of satro is 35ltrs and according to them they filled 19.9 ltrs and I had say close to 5 lts in my car also. so the needle should be much more than half way. They cheated me by 5 ltrs.

I have purchased a HP LPG Gas Connection with 2 cylinders in the year of 2017 and in the month of may. This connection was allotted to me in the town of Gurajala, Guntur Dist. Recently our family is shifted to Hyderabad. we have made a request at the HP dealer in Gurajala, for that they have issued a transfer letter for the connection after returning the 2 cylinders and regulator. The same was submitted at the HP gas dealer, Ratna Gas Agencies in Kukatpally on 2nd September 2017 for which they have issued a reference number 3449. At the time of submitting the transfer letter they said that the connection will be provided within the next 10 days as oppose to 5 days it takes to transfer a connection with other dealers in twin cities area because of everything is done online. That was fine even if it takes five days more than other dealers to transfer, means i should get my connection be tansfered by 12th September 2017.

When I went there for the enquiry they said that it will take another week as they are not received any new gas regulators. Again went there after a week then they said still not received any new regulators for the transfers. I went there again in the first week of Oct 2017 that just before the Dassara festival., They said one of their employee went to the HP head office to collect the regulators once they received then they will inform the consumer and they promised that it will be provided immediately after the dasara festival. I went there again after the festival now they are saying that it will be provided on Monday 13th Oct. Now I fed up everytime personally going there and getting the same kind of answer so I thought it s better to phone them up and find out so i made a call and guess what got the same kind of reply that they said it will be provided on thursday the 16th Oct provided if they get any regulators from the HP Gas Head Office in Hyderabad.

It seems to be that I will never be able to get my connection transferred to this Kukatpally area. Another thing that they have several employees working in the office and have several phone connections working. If you want some information to find out over the phone they never answer your phone. Dont know why.

Is it not something that as soon as you got a transfer letter from a dealer the Head Office of HP should be notified that so and so gas connection is waiting for transfer. And immediately make available of his regulater to be given at another dealer as soon as the consumer requests it. we are not in those old days where you were carrying letters by bicycle or by walk. Now a days the communication is instant and every super organisaction such as HP is having the letest communication technologies for faster communication. Infact HP has already got these and proved by some other dealers where the transers has already took place within the 5 working days period.

Imagine a family with two little infants struggling for their daily food and milk to the infants. Cooking without an LPG gas connection. you have to go to a place where you buy your infant milk heated up properly, and a place where you get your food in packets...so this was the daily routine since the last 40 days of my application to this gas dealer.

I have booked one refill vide booking No.373926 dated 24/02/2017 09:34:00, when I have seen the Refill Booking History:, I was shocked and seen that in the history it is written that it is cancelled on the same date i.e. 24.02.2017 (cash memo number 181809. It is for the information that we are senior citizen and never locked our house . This is the regular complaint of other consumer also. Please enquire the matter and direct your dealer Akola Gas Service, Ratanlal Plot Akola to deliver the cylinder at an early date. Expecting your reply please.

Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas Non delivery of cylinders

The gas companies H P Gas and Indane Gas take a long time in delivering the gas cylinder.I ring up at least 5 times a day and get the same standard answer "We will be delivering the cylinder tomorrow". Their tomorrow never comes.In the meantime we drop everything else and keep vigil that the gas cylinder would arrive. It is 15 days and yet the cylinders have not arrived. Is there a consumer complaint cell where action can be taken against these erring companies?

Maruthi Gas service at HSR Bangalore, which is the authorized dealer for HP gas, has one of the worst possible services I have ever encountered. Last instance, I was promised a delivery 10 days after making a booking. That never happened and upon further complaint, I was re-assured that the delivery will be done in 5 working days. That also never happened. It has gone so bad now that the attendants there are not even willing to take calls.

I was also informed that the delivery boy is on leave (what? no backup!) and so it can not be delivered in next few days. And that happened when the delivery boy was delivering cylinder to my next door neighbors (Grrr!)

I wish their license was canceled for ill-treating their customers.

I have a Hp gas connection, since from last 7 years. i have been facing a problem of refiling the gas, so that every month end they will not supply the gas, instead of we need go there to pick the gas from the agency, this is the problem i have been facing.There employs Divaya and Neha misbehaving with me.

According to recent decisions i am eligible to take filled gas after 30 days. Even though we need to wait minimum 40-45 days to get the filled gas cylinder from the following gas agency:

Besides it the person who attend the calls usually used very bad language and words with us. He never entertain us as a consumer and treats very badly.

Hi,

This is Kavita. I applied for a new HP gas connection. I require 2 cylinders with 3 burner stove. I inquire previously the Soham Agency. They informed me that they provide me the model as per my requirement.

But when I physically went there, there is no co-ordination from agency people. They told me that there is only 2 burner stove is available. And they cost the same as that of 3 burner stove.

This is really unfaithful.
Theuy are not ready to give us 3 burner stove when in fact the previous day they inform taht they have the same one.

What should we do in this case?

I am a consumer for HP Gas Dealer Maruthi Enterprises , Bapuji Nagar, Hyderabad . We have strong complaints on the following matters which is addresssed before but no one has taken any action against him Hope some one from the HP team will address this sereriously.

1. NEVER RESPOND TO CUSTOMER CALLS OVER PHONE. I REQUEST THE AUTHORITIES TO TRY THE NUMBERS.

2. THE DEALER MAKING THE CONSUMBERS TO DROP AT HIS OFFICE FOR BOOKING REFILLS SINCE NONE OF HIS PHONES ARE PICKED UP IN THE PEAK TIMES.

3. SEEN CYCLINERS ARE SOLD TO OUTSIDERS AT A PREMIUM COST MAKING MONEY BY THE DEALER. WHEN ENQUIRED THE DEALER SIMPLY SIMLES & SAY HE WILL THOW THE DELIVERY TEAM OUT IF CAUGHT RED HANDED. THAT DAY NEVER COMES & WE STONGLY BELEIVE THE DEALER PROMOTING THE SALE AT A PREMIUM RRICE. IN MARKET THE PRICE IS NOW VARRING BETWEEN RS.550/- to 600/- per domestic cyclinder,.

4. IN FUTURE ALSO WE HAVE COMPLAINED AGAINST THIS DEALER BUT THE AUTHTORIES HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION WHICH SOMETIMES MAKES US SURPRISE.

5. CAN ANY ONE FROM HP GAS EXPLAINS US ON CUSTOMER RIGHTS , SINCE THE ESSENTIALS COMMODITIES ARE NEVER PROVIDED ON TIME.

6. ARE THE GOVT AUTHORITIES HAVING ANY CONTROL ON THIS DEALERS , HAVE THEY VERIFYING WITH THE CONSUMERS ON SERVICES THAT THE DEALER IS PROVIDING.

I am a working professional residing in Vijay Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi with my wife. We have HP Gas connection(consumer no. - 611523) and managing with one gas cylinder only. Every time our cooking gas gets over, we never get the cylinder replaced on the date said by the agency. As both of us are working, and we do not have neighbors who stay home at day time we do not have any option to ask our neighbors to collect the gas.

The delivery boy does not actually come and says that he had come but the door was closed. This has happened many times. We are ready to go and collect the gas from agency, but they say they will only deliver at the address. We have booked the gas before 15 days but have not received it as yet. The agency says they cannot say the date or time of delivery. They will deliver at their convenience and we should be there to collect or else we go without gas till they deliver again.

They agency is not ready to help us or take any action against the delivery. We believe they are selling the gas in black also. The gas agency name is:

At the time of booking they say that for issue of cylinder it will take 10days . today is 21st October. so far I have not received the cylinder. It seems they are not following the seniority list . I request you to please take up the matter with the dealer concerned and arrange for early supply of the refill.

I had booked a cylinder against my connection in Jaipur on Tuesday 23.10.2007 with Anand Gas Agency, Raja Park, Jaipur. I was told that the cylinder will be delivered in a day or two. Since then I am calling everyday and the reply is standard - we will deliver right away. This is not a one off incident but a habit with this agency. This time I have lost my patience and am writing to every official in HP Gas. There is no sanctity of time and they are callous to the ordeal one undergoes dut to lack of basic necessity of life.

I am working as a junior engineer in pwd mumbai maharashtra state at high court mumbai and staying in panvel, tapal naka, maruti arcade bldg, room no 205/A .
On 22aug 2008 I went to hpcl gas agency, Ishwarlal Mohanlal Parikh, sector no 1, S.vijay marg, new panvel for taking new gas connection .On this date they given gas connection to so many peoples but not given to me because I refused to take thier expensive gas stove .I have already gas stove which is given by father in law.
They told me that as per rule i have to take gas stove. Is there any rule? Please suggest me and give me the controlling authority adress, phone no & e-mail.
Please treat it urgent because my wife facing so many problems.She is also working in govt sector.

Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas Additional cylinder

Had got HP gas connection 4.5 years back, but still no additional cylinder provided. Whenever I ask, they will tell after 3/5 months. The same answer is given after that also. When we book a cylinder, it will be delivered after 157 days. No control over it...

Hindustan Petroleum [HPCL] / HP Gas Not filling normal petrol though it is available

I reached for filling Normal petrol @ HP Station at Rajbhawan road, Trivandrum, Kerala. They told only premium available. Suddenly I noticed stock is showing plenty full for both Normal and Premium Petrol. When asked, they told that is for auto and two wheelers. Actually the tank was same for all. Locally at dealer level, /station level/ or the the employees themselves taken the decision not to deliver normal petrol.

When I shouted at them, the delivered normal petrol.
