We are having a horrible experience wth Hillis Public Adjusters. Our loss claim is now 2 1/2 months old and nothing has been done. I have been told by Hillis adjusters that we can not start any fixes until the case will be resolved. It is almost 2 1/2 month and no progress on the case. From the first days they had weeks of delays with scheduling appointments with State Farm. I had to call them repeatedly to request appointments for weeks.They lied and blaimed Statefarm for their own Hillis delays and mess. 3 different adjusters during 3 visits with no clue on the previous information - J Gulledge, R Palaia, J Winter. Every visit - the adjuster not familiar with the house, case history and details to explain the issue. During the first visit they also suggested us the services that dont needed saying that insurance will pay for this later. We did not agree for this.During the entire 2 months Hillis would not return any of my phone calls and when they did it was always I don't know whats doing on. Our assigned adjuster R. Palaia doesn't respond to direct phone call inquiries or emails, the lady Lynett Kirk or his assistant Anthony Cassela only offers take a message with the promise that he will return our phone calls. I was rying to cancel the contract and contact Robert Hillis with no sucsess. NO help, NO check, but according to my insurance agency, the Statefarm company did closed the case and Hillis cashed check on damages on November 16.
