HP printer

The customer service rep was very nice but what a run around trying to get replacement for new printer never used and defective. Asking for my credit card info to get replacement crossed the line. Did it once for another issue not your company and cost me $5000 in fraud. Very disappointed have bought thousands dollars in computers in past and pretty upset. I think $50 printer not worth losing my business. Cost you what probably $7 to make. Printer in garbage on way to buy another one NOT HULETT PACKARD.

HP laptop

I took the HP laptop into Best Buy today since that is where we bought it. They wanted $149 shipping to their service center and then it would probably be shipped out to HP and be denied coverage. They stated that HP is the worst company they deal with on service. They stated that they (HP) would get their hands on the laptop and then deny warranty coverage because it's a broken hinge. So...never again HP. HP you suck! Your service sucks! And your warranty isn't worth the paper it's wrote on. You are a company that has no integrity or honor. Your warranty is a lie!

I've been dealing with this since October. If I send it directly to HP and they determine the broken hing is caused by abuse or user damage they will charge me for repairs. If I deny the repairs they will charge me $99 to get back a broken computer. I've sent picture of the damage and it is clear there has been no abuse or user damage. The damn hing locked up and broke. Laptop was never dropped.

HP hp 3070a printer

Error message 'Ink cartridge missing or damaged' prevents any further activity such as the printer's toolbox from being accessed.
A search on the web suggests this a new lockout that has been installed remotely by HP to prevent using third party cartridges.
I'm about to bin the printer and buy an Epson eco print, but the initial price deters me a little. Does anyone have some advice on how the defeat HP.

HP warranty repair & customer service

I have had HP laptops for 8 years, but I am done with the company. Every time I call customer service, they are rude; they hang up; they cannot provide basic information. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS if you care about how you are treated.

I have had to have three warranty repairs (I paid for the extra warranty). Each and every time, I have received completely inaccurate information about the status of the repair and two of the three times, the issues were not resolved!

DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS IF YOU WANT TO HAVE WORKING PRODUCTS.

HP tech support, cheaply built product, ripping me off, worst customer service ever

I have never experienced such horrific customer service for such an incredibly poorly built product. First off, I purchased a Pavilion x360 Convertible laptop and I loved it.
A few months after I had it (less than 90 days) the letter "P" popped off the keyboard and I wasn't even touching the keyboard. I was putting a flash drive in. I called HP and they gave me the usual script and I asked for a Supervisor. I work from home and purchased this laptop specifically so I could do my work so time is of the essence.
They opened a case for me and I was told my FedEx box would be shipped overnight and I would need to just send back with provided label and I would have it back 9-11 business days from the date they receive it. 6 minutes later another Supervisor called and said in order for me to get that turnaround time I would have to buy the extended warranty. I said it felt like I was being ripped off and he became very unprofessional saying he wouldn't push my request through. I hung up and spoke to someone else who claimed to be a case manager and he has followed up with me.
However, after speaking to someone today who confirmed my laptop is scheduled to be delivered on the 12th, I receive a text telling me the 24th and it is on hold. WTF?! At this point I just want my laptop with the P missing. At least the key still works.
Or I want a refund.
Either way, this company and all its' employees need to be shut down. I have never been so angry in my entire life.

HP hp service

I sent in a brand new pc back to HP because it quit connecting to the internet 3 1/2 weeks after I bought it [couldn't return to original box store because I had it 3 weeks or more]. The received it from FedEx, acknowledged the delivery, sent me one or two emails stating it was taking longer to repair, and then I got an email stating that it was physically cracked and demanded $450 to fix, when it should be under warranty. either they themselves dropped it, or FedEx did. It should have been apparent when they opened the box. I'm not sure I believe they didn't do it themselves, or are just trying to extort money from me. There's nothing I can do. They won't even repair the original complaint they said without me paying the additional money. What shysters. Stay away from HP!

HP product out of specification

I bought a laptop from Souq.com, an Amazon company. The laptop received was 500GB only against the specified 1TB. As a consumer, I have to face the inconvenience of all the return process besides not getting right product on right time. Such experiences will never encourage consumers to buy online from a reputed company like Amazon.
The refund process should also be made quicker and smooth.

HP laptop hard drive

My wife bought a brand new ! HP Laptop. Less than 30 days and the hard drive crashed! Brand New? My wife is in graduate school, so slightly important to have her laptop. Not only do we have to wait til wednesday to get laptop, but had to pay 100 dollars to the Geek Squad at Best Buy where purchased to back up the data on her laptop!
HP just saying to us, oh well, this can happen though rare. Doesn't care about our headache or expense to remedy this. My wife will never buy HP again and I know where I work, I will stress never using HP products.

It wasn't the quality of product, HP is great, but the response of customer service.. WOW

HP the company, the customer service, and hp pavilion x360 convertible

It all started with needing to purchase a notebook. Chose HP for no specific reason. Should have figured it out from the frustration of trying to order one on line through the HP store. I had no success, so I gave them a chance and called the store. Got a sales clerk that just could not focus on how to spell my name, my address, and phone #, had to repeat it many times, but some how understood my email address as I was getting all sorts of advertisements from them, and my credit card # because the payment went through instantly.

I waited the 10 days for delivery and nothing showed up, gave another 5, then finally phoned. They told me that the shipping company had it on hold because my name, address, and phone # Was given to them wrong. ( yeah it was my fault I spelt my name, etc. Wrong) My question is: They had my email address, why not contact me letting me know there was a problem?

So finally cleared that all up, received the notebook and had nothing but problems setting it up. Finally had a friend with more experience, help. She finally succeeded after much frustration. So here I am happy camper as I'm travelling and 3 days into my travels having only owned the notebook for a week, it blows up. Call the HP Service and spent 3 hours on the phone getting a diagnostic check and they were able to fix it.

So again while I was travelling I find out this particular notebook has a recall on its battery. So I send it back to Canada to get the battery replaced. Got it back with a great expense of shipping fees. So now to date, Sept 19, 2018, my warranty pops up and they want me to renew it. I declined. Well guess what happens the day after I decline? Yes the touch pad stops working. Coincidence, think not! I called the help Center and after transferring me 5 times then told me I had to call another number. Finally got the right person and they told me They couldn't help unless I bought a warranty at a extremely expensive price. So I told them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine! Not proud but it's just another company that puts out crap product, gets your money and continues to rip people off. I might be wrong, but if a company can fix your product by phone from half way around the world, don't you think they can get into your computer once the warranty is up and mess it up? Just saying. So here I am today with a notebook a year old that is half a computer.

HP printer office jet 6950

On 06/09/18, I changed the cartridge on my printer HP Officejet 6950 - Cost of the new ink: £88.96 . The printer did not print in black. I contacted the customers care department who advised me to buy a new printer. My current printer is less than 24 months old! The only option I am given is to buy a new HP printer so that I can use the ink, with the verbal assurance that " there are few faulty product" and a new printer should last more than 24 months. I asked for the details of their complaints or claims department and this information was refused to me as I was no longer under warranty. I did explain that an expired warranty was not an extinction of my consumers rights but to no avail.

HP hp laptop

After purchasing an HP Stream I discovered that I was unable to download the updates necessary to continue using this laptop, because the RAM was used up upon first operation of the computer. now totally useless. This item failed to deliver as expected and disappointed that HSN would promote such a product with so limited capabilities. Memory can not be upgraded and has very limited use from what was advertised.

HP hewlett-packard / hp envy x360

Hewlett-Packard/ HP Development Company,
Usually I am extremely satisfied with the quality and precise eques performance of the HP development software. I am not putting this out there in the virtual world for all your competition to feed off of because I really have enjoyed my years of using HP computer/laptops/Tablets/Cameras/Printers ect. but I am extremely disappointed with this design of a 2in1 laptop/ tablet it has a bar of discoloration across the top of the screen, it freezes way more than my business has time! You have to push play a 100 times to watch my training videos, my conference calls cannot be understood because its is going in and out and I know every device can have a glitch and all of them may not well, this one does it is the HP ENVY X360 pen and I have no pen. I have the security software and had it tested for virus and malicious activity and all checks out fine but I am here to let you know it is not fine at all, not like all my other HP devices because I Buy them and test them out and Trip advisor and Yelp get my advice and feed back on all HP, DELL, Gateway, Sony, Samsung The pros an cons well I am a HP fan because my former father whom just passed would not use any other device unless it was Hewlett-Packard for his company, employees, and there families . So I am going to first try and resolve discretely, and hopefully which I know you will resolve my issue and that is the way I pray it works out because I do not want to down your entire business or organization standard you have earned because I know that nothing is perfect but your business supplying my world of business with its technology and devices to keep my investors across the world in China, Ukraine, and The United Kingdoms connected to us in the United States with the stock market my Thailand Marketing director is trying to push my corporate office to try Apple Devices says that they will provide fifteen of their best updated devices to have because they are telling me that i'm just not filmier with the IOS/ Siri system but that's why they will be provided with no start up charges for the first 15 devices and I did not say no but I did not say yes either because Hewlette -Packard been my life and life long commitment to the technology, that was perfectly designed engineered, no malfunctions almost perfect until this ENVY x360 / Pen is got me debating on wither I should change internationals virtual world designing systems to Apple/ Mac. I really hope telling you every expecting detail that I do not have to part with what my father loved and stood beside firmly. My contact number is [protected] and my name is Michelle Paige and I am livid at the whole situation.
SINCERLEY,
A DEDICATED MEMBER OF THE HP FAMILY

HP unexpected charge for tech support

I called HP tech support and was bounced around to 3 different people. The last was "Diego".
I was charged $179.99 for a one-time fix and pitched a 3-time and a one-year "plan"!
There was no expectation of a charge until they had control of the computer and had done some work (unrelated to the printer problem as nearly as I can tell).
I had a problem with the HP printer which was printing in miniature off the web. At the very end of the 5-HOUR SESSION on the phone, the tech finally addressed the printer problem which was that it wasn't configured properly to be used with Firefox browser.
I'm not real tech savvy but I know that running graphs about the CPU does nothing but look impressive. They did that at the beginning, for nearly an hour while telling me I had thousands of errors, virus, etc. NOT!
In short, they will talk a good story, no mention of charges for what has always been free tech support... hard to understand, get control of your computer, pretend to work on the problem for a couple of hours, tell you that the charges are $$$$ and demand a card number before they will continue.
Have bought HP products for years. Never again.

HP tech support/possible scam

My HP Office Pro 8600 printer quit working between printing things about 5 minutes apart. I went to the website and started chatting with someone. She explained that I needed to give her my phone number and someone would call me. I did, and a woman, who's first language was not English, called me. I followed her instructions, and without asking me or telling me what she was doing, suddenly she had control of my computer. She did various things before telling me that several "foreign" entities were all using my wi-fi.
When I asked her what to do, she told me I needed to get a firewall between all the entities that were on my wi-fi. I asked her what this would cost, and she put a listing on my computer screen for $799.00! I hung up and turned my computer off. I don't know if H-P is going into the scamming business, but it was their website help that connected me with that person.
Now, I can't use my HP printer with that computer. I also cannot find any way to email a complaint to HP!

I also had something similar happen to me. A month ago I bought a Envy Photo 7855. The printer, copier work fine but every time I tried to scan to my computer, I had to run program and go through several step to get anything scanned to my computer desktop. The printer instructed me to go online to 123.hp.com. I did this and before I could blink once the chat popes up with someone asking how they can help. Never had this happen before usually chat doesn't start unless I click on the option to chat. Anyway, so I explain to the person that I went onto site to see what steps I needed to do to get the scanner working properly. She asked for my name and phone number. Within 10 seconds she called and told me she would connect me with a different department. She did and a second person, this person like mentioned in complaint above took over my computer, also indicated foreign addresses trying to access. Also mentioning me needing to get firewall. Taking me to a site on my computer (not comfortable that the person was able to access sites and that my computer was not under my control) to show me how much firewalls would cost, but that since I was a customer I could get it free through them, made a list of things that they would do for me free (I had asked how much it all was going to cost, his reply free) But the list consisted of the firewall, cleaning up my hard drive installing extra security beyond my Norton and on and on. Then it all became clear what was going on when he then stated that to do a one time fix would be $175 or I could purchase a one year warranty for $199 or 2 year warranty for $299. All I wanted was to get my printer to scan! What made it worse is he wasn't going to take no as an answer. When I told him I would not be paying any money for them to get my product to do what it is suppose to do he started talking to me in a condescending manner. I once again told him all I wanted from him were the steps I needed to do to get my printer, copy, SCANNER, fax machine to scan to computer! he then says for me to hold on so that I can talk to my manager to see if I can make you a deal. Before I have a chance to say no he puts me on hold. Comes back and claims his manager told him to offer me $50 off any of the warranties or off the one time fix. By this time I am extremely irritated. I again informed this person I refuse to put money out for them to tell me what I needed to know to get it to scan. HP use to be a company you could rely one and their products top of the line. The times have sure changed

HP ink cartridges, 902-xl, 902

Have noticed when using my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 with the ink cartridges I am having many reactions when coming in contact with the ink from these cartriges. Dry mouth, difficulty swallowing, tingling in extremities, numbness in fingers, eyes burning and very dry. Have others complained? I know from Consumer Affairs HP is not accredited. Maybe that is why your tech reps. are so difficult to deal with because they know you (HP) are not accredited.

Resorted to contacting HP Corporate. A wonderful representative of that company acknowledged my complaint and in the end the resolution was a return of my product and my money back, not the entire amount since I had owned the device for three months. Nevertheless a good refund. This representative was accommodating and serviced me in a very professional manner, honoring my request for a refund. HP will damage (I believe) the device upon receipt. This is normal procedure and resolution only took 2-3 days. This is how it is done when corporations want to keep customers. In the end “The Customer is Always Right”.

HP envy 4520 printer and ink cartridges

Called HP Customer Support today, 5/16/2018, because one of my two printers is only printing out blank pages. I bought it a little over a year ago, have an extended service contract, and it still has the original ink cartridges in it. They are about 80% full and have expiration dates on them some time in 2019. Clearly, I don't use this printer much. After much messing around, the Customer Service representative decided the ink INSIDE the printer had dried up, blocking the flow of ink from the cartridges. She then tried to sell me a new printer. Annoyed, I told her that if I bought one, it would not be an HP. FYI, my other HP printer is also having dried up ink problems, this time at the connection between the black ink cartridges and the printer. This second printer only prints out gray instead of black. I've been a long-time HP customer, albeit a minor one, but I really think I deserve better products than dried up ink and printers that can't be fixed by the Customer Service people.
