Honda Motor Worst service!

I bought a Hero Honda Passion plus in Suguna automobile agency - Coimbatore, a dealer of the Hero Honda company on 29/08/2007. When I went for the first service after a ride of 500 Km, their service was very poor. There was a girl sitting on the service counter, and she asked me to sit on the bench for 5 mins, and I did. She started talking with her boy friend. I had been waiting for half an hour and then told her again that I had been waiting for half an hour. She did not responded to me, and still continuing to talk with her boy friend. I got angry that why the hell she sit in customer support if she do not want to respond to a customer. If I was the boss of that company, I would have fired her for not doing the job on duty time, for what she is paid.

Still I had not lost the patience, and went to asks the service manager, and he replied recklessly. I told him that I had been waiting for a long time to just drop my bike for the service, and that idiot replied that so many people are waiting more than me, and that nonsense asked me to wait outside. I really got angry with their level of customer support. Hero Honda should cancel the franchise license of this agency.

I am agree with the above complaints 200%. I have bought CBZ extreme through Suguna Automobiles, Coimbatore on Feb1 st 2010. I met an accident and claimed through Suguna. They billed Rs.7500. I am completely unsatisfied with their service. They have replaced front fork and lot of components in my bike, but including razer kit. They have not fixed/setup all of them properly, so my bike came very hard/rough to drive. They people didn't heard my complaints.

Suguna Automobile providing Very very Worst service and spoiling the Quality of Service of Hero Honda.

So prefer go HH bikes through Suguna automobiles.

We all know that in India only 1/2 % customers use internet services for complaint regarding bad quality of goods they purchased or regarding poor services. A large number of customers of Hero Honda are suffering from very bad and irritating services of Hero Honda's authorized service centers. Hero Honda group have no control on such service centers. They only want to sell their products and never want to provide quality services to customers. I bought my Hero Honda Splendor++ bike from Rajdhani Auto, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. After 2 bad services milej of my bike is between 30-40 KM. On complaint there is no action from Hero Honda Group. Hero Honda Group is playing with customers like me. Is it OK...?

I have Glamour hero honda bike (two wheeler). I have buyed from Lake City Motors PVT, LTD Bhopal Show Room. I cannot find its "Left Side Chain Adjester" .. I have tryed every Show Room of hero honda of bhopal. In Manual of Spare Parts, Code for right and left is same but practically its different in size. Its being about 1 month and i am still without Chain Adjester..

Making Fool!

I want to complaint about the Hero Honda Showroom Prakesh Motors Bangalore karnataka. I booked HH glamor with disc brakes on Sept 06, 2007. They told me It will take maximum of 3 weeks in delivery. But after 3 weeks when I called to a representative of this showroom said they do not have HH glamor with disk brake so asked me to go with the drum brakes. The company is not willing to send the consignment of HH glamor disc brake from Delhi, so go with drum brakes. But while booking I asked them so many times that I want only HH glamor with disc brakes. Now they are not ready to deliver HH glamor with disc brakes.

Is this the way that a company handles a customer.

Honda Motor Bike malfunctioning!

I bought a Honda Unicorn bike one month back (July 2007). Starting onwards it is having some complex problem like the ignition is missing and Idling problem. In morning times i need to start the vehicle and need to ride for at least 4-5 kms by putting choke. If I am not putting the choke it will show signs of getting stopped and if I apply accelerator also it is taking time to get the power.If I park the vehicle for some 2 hrs and then started the similar problem will again surface. Because of this problems the handling of the bike is very difficult and is very dangerous while trying to overtake the other vehicles as I can' t predict whether it will provide the acceleration or not. When said about this problems to the honda people first they were telling like this is the problem with carburetor... already they have cleaned the carburetor twice and the problem exists now also. Now they are telling this is the problem with Idling. The bike has done some 1000 km and for the half of the time I have to shuttle between the my office and honda workshop because of the bike problems.

If any body is facing the same kind of problem please let me know. Anybody going to take a new unicorn please investigate more as you have lot of options around you. Please let me know smb the honda official email id if anybody is having it!

In this CR Motorcycle which has been used seized by police. The Motorcycle which has been seized described registration Plate Number MH 04 EJ 9826 . On Verification of the descried the registration Number to the concerned Registration Authority it revealed that the Registration Number on Number Plate is bogus and counterfeit. To tress the real owner of the seized bike we are sending the seized bike Engine Number and the Chassis No. for your reference so, please give the name address, Contact No. and details of the dealer/sub-dealer to whom your company has send the seized bike for sale The seized bike chassis No. ME4KC097J98027724 and the Engine No. is KCO9E4122781 colour is red. PROBLEM SOLVED:
My Problem: Bike stopping unexpectedly, bike stopping when trying to acclerate from stop, feeling like petrol is over. Had to use choke, sometime it would help and sometimes it wouldn't. It was a nightmare riding in Mumbai traffic with the bike stopping suddenly all the time.

SOLUTION: Replace CARBURETOR DIAPHRAGM. (Attached Image) I got it replaced at my local mechanic. with an unbranded part for Rs. 250/- because the Original Honda Part is in short supply. The original part costs around Rs. 600/- if I'm not mistaken.

The problem was finally solved for me in the past at the Honda Serice station after more than 6 very FRUSTRATING visits. After two years problem reoccurred, and today evening I replaced the diaphragm and the problem seems solved.

I feel there is something wrong with the design that is causing the same part to fail repeatedly. But atleast there is a solution.

Hope this helps you people facing this problem.

me too agree with the problem.
this bike was my dream come true, but right from the next day of bike purchasing i had the ignition problem, i had to ride atleast ride 3 km before pulling off the choke. i reported the complaint in the service center, during my first and second service and they hardly neglect it. if any one who gets remedy for the problem, then plz let every one know hows it...

international brand, failed in appointing dealer. tamilnadu in vellore district ASA MOTORS, their approach service performance and treat the customer is not satisfied, they are not experianced in automobile business.they treat us like slaves &owner third gategary speech.I bought honda unicorn in 08/06/09, engine no;1067314&chasis no;[protected], vehicle no tn-23/AU/786.PROBLEM IS ENJINE SOUND(major noice), front suspention, milage problem.many time visited they are not intrested to attend. my vehicle lies idle in your show room, mentally i am depressed, kindly take action &solve tha promlem of vehicle, other wise no other way for me to go to consumer court to find justice. The dealer like this you appoint, it reflect your performance.

I am extremely sorry the Showroom in kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu - 632 004 is always vacant without any vehicle either scooter or Motorcycle. It is very shame to here from my friends and many customers The Dealer is not good in delivering. The Mouth words of customer goes not to dealer and to The MANUFACTURER only. HMISL please see today walk in customers may not be tomorrow. Put a additional Dealer or revamp the existing dealer please please.

I have a honda unicorn.Within less than a year its front shokers get loosened, after repeted complain its honda (Ganpati Autos in Gurgaon)service center is not ready to replace them.Seeing their attitude i would not suggest any one to purchase honda bike.

i hav honda unicorn 2oo5 model kick start, much satisfied in performance, in the stock condition the bike reaching 103 -104 am very much happy with milage also, only problem am facing is the bike is getting off sudden decreasing of speed i make clean all engine stuff, (carborator, air filter, petrole tank, checked timing chain ) every thing is perfect, but cant able to resolve the problem... if any one can plz inform me...

My Name is Arnold, I purchased my bike on 27th Dec 2008, From Marikar Motors, Statue, Trivandrum, Kerala. Engine no: KC09E4051903, Chassis no: ME4KC098K78049258. From the day first it is causing problems. Majors complaints are, Irritating engine noise, low pulling power, no engine smoothness, poor milege. I had reported this problems to my dealer, they said that the problem is due to this and that, but they are not able to solve my problem.From 14 months, i am going to service center frequently, two times per week. Finally they changed my bikes piston, valves, crank bearing, cylinder kit, chain tensioner, cam chain, almost majority of engine parts replaced . But the complaints are still there, it is not rectified.I am tolerating this problems for the last 14 months. One thing is sure the mechanics are not able to solve my bike's problems. So according to your warrany, if a complaint is there, you will solve the complaint by changing the complaint part. If complaint is still there, you will definetly change the bike. I want my bike to be replaced with new one. Otherwise i am going to complaint in consumer court. It's your responsibility to solve customer complaints as soon as possible, because of honda's irresponsibility, i am suffering now. contact me soon, i want replacement of my bike.

I HAD PURCHASED MY BIKE IN AUGUST 15 2005 ( JHANSI) UP93 -P 4182.
BUT FROM VERY FIRST DAY THERE IS A PROBLEM OF STARTING, PICK UP, POWER AND HANDLE VIBRATION. NEITHER IN JHANSI NOR IN NOIDA NOBODY CAN RESOLVED MY PROBLEM YET. CURRENTLY I AM IN NOIDA WORKING IN A PSU. IN NOIDA THERE IS A SHOWROOM IN D-2 SECTOR 10. BUT I DIDNT SATISFY WITH MY BIKE SERVICING. AGENCY IS ALWAYS READY TO PREPARE HEAVY BILL MORE REPLACEMENTS IN EXISTING PART BUT NO SATISFACTION. WHO THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING SO PLZ LISTEN YAAR.

Honda Motor Not willing to work with me

Hi I'm a single mom of 12yrs I purchased a 2002 Honda on Septemeber 2001. I made my scheduled payments over the years and unfortunately as time went on finances became a struggle. I filed for bankruptcy but signed a reaffirmations agreement to keep my honda. I made my payments as always and of course I fell a month behind on a payment but still trying to keep up. I received a call from a private investigator that Honda wanted to repose my car. Now I had not received a letter nor a phone call. I had been out of bankruptcy for 2 1/2 years and only owed 1 yr on the car in the amount of 5,000 dollars.

I contacted Honda and they were very rude and was not willing to help me or give me any length of time to try and catch up. They stated they wanted the car. Now remember I haven't received a bill since the day I filed bankruptcy but still continued to make payments because I needed and loved my car and worked very hard over those 5 yrs paying it, only to have it taken from me when I only had 12 more payments. It has been 10 months since this all occurred and I'm still upset with how it all went down. I currently do not own a car I've been borrowing my mothers car my friends car. It saddens me to think that such a prestiges company could be so demeaning and cold hearted. Just wanted someone to know how I feel although I'm sure this want do any good but at least I finally got it off my chest. This experience has taught me never to do business with Honda again, even though I really love Honda cars. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Honda Motor Liars, scammers and completely dishonest company!

On Friday the 20th of July, I had found a rare car that I wanted. I am from Long Island, the car is in Toms River NJ, which was about a 140 mile drive. I had spoken with the dealership several time during the day. I explained to them that I had pre approved financing with Capital One, and even faxed my approval to them. They reviewed it and said everything was good to go.

Since this place is far from me, I wanted to take same day delivery on this car, and explained that to them too.. They stated all I would need is insurance, and we would be all set and ready to deal. Obviously, I asked all the questions about the truck ahead of time, condition, price, etc... and everything was ready... So here it was my assumption, that I was going to drive down there, get the car, and come home... not the case.

After it took me 4 hrs to drive there in NY/NJ rush hour traffic, I finally get there at about 8:45 PM. I run right in, and test drive the truck... not good... the transmission, drivetrain and rear end were in terrible shape.. you could actually feel them shaking and moving all around, but I was still ready to deal.. I tried to make a deal with them. They made me fill out a credit ap so they would have my "information". I did so, and asked repeatedly that they not run my credit, but they did anyway. After them not being able to get me approved with their own banks, all of a sudden my pre approval was no good... BS... I know the game.. they get me approved with their banks, make a point or two on the interest, and then they are happy. I wasted a 4hr trip there, 1hr there, and only 2.5 hrs to get home on this.

I would never ever ever go to this dealership for anything. They wasted my time, swindled me and tried their best to screw me over. They are liars, scammers and completely dis-honest.

Honda Motor Poor customer care

I recently purchased a CBZ extreme on March 15, 2007. There is already a rust on the bike. When I complained to the service department of Hero Honda they referred me to the sales department, who after inspecting state they cannot rectify it.

This is sheer manufactures defect and not mine. As I keep the bike well covered and away from water which could probably have caused the rust. The rust is in the swingarm of the bike.

I'm really pissed off with this. I spend so much of money to buy this bike, but now so soon there is a rust and they (Hero Honda) have declined to rectify it and want to get it rectified which is totally unfair.

I'm planning to take them to the consumer court for this as this sheer manufactures defect, and I'm going to discourage my friends n relatives to buy any of their products. I'm from Bangalore and my dealer is Millenuium Motor, Airport Road Branch.

i really love bcz extreme, but if i get the man who designed the front part of bike, i will break front part of his face, what the helll, he has designed, the front part sucks.. and what happen to the technical parts like digital speedometer, people are not interested in old technology, its the world of advanced technology, every 1 is realesing with digital ### pit, for the bikes, then i dont know why the hell hero honda is lacking... if there is a reason for cbz extreme still lagging in the market, 1) the front doom 2) digital speedometer 3) lack of tech equipments.. plz try to up grade yourself team hero honda... or else be at the last...

Hi i had purchased the bike hero honda cbz extreme from metro motors cox town they had given me the bike in which self start was not working, they told it will run after running few kms but after running 700 kms also it s not working when i asked them he gives irresponsible answers!

Honda Motor Problem with a front bumper

I have a 2006 Honda civic, the rubber / styrofoam piece under the bumper fell off, Honda dealership said this is not covered, that it was my fault because the front rubs the concrete when go out of a parking place. I was very disappointed with Honda. I think this is a problem with the placement of the rubber guard. Apparently this is a common problem.

This happened with my 2001 Civic too and 300$ later it was fixed. I got the same reasoning- don't park so close to the concrete. Once it was fixed, it fell again as it was not tight enough.

Honda Motor Sold me 8 months old bike

I have bought karizma last 7 months before from chrisma gold wheel Chandigarh in November .
Company sold me 8 months old bike i.e the make is of feb. During free services their is lots of problem in my bike:

1. Clutch plate is opens around 7 times. But nothing has done.

2. The part named tashner is also makes noises and it is totally breaks. Engine also makes noises.

3. Battery in karizma is 15 months old. Battery company is not taking any warranty for that.

4. Tyers bubbles.

Honda Motor Horrifying experience!

I have been your member since July 2001 and today I have visited Khanna Automobiles Showroom, Safdarjung Enclave to redeem the points I accrued.This is my first visit to redeem my points. The moment I showed my passport to Mr. Shri om (Passport executive) he was very indifferent, and casually checked the points and told me that I should produce proofs for the points accumulated until now. My passport clearly shows 16566 points carried forwarded from my old passport which I had renewed from the same Showroom. I have a total of 16972 points until now. I have tried my level best to make them understand that I have not redeemed any points earlier,but they refused to accept my explanation . Immediately I contacted Ms.Ananditha at 011-[protected] head office Vasant vihar, to my surprise she was not helpful to solve my problem. She told me that I would need to wait for few days till they verify all points and she would confirm me the same on phone. She also told me that it is not possible to redeem all points on one fine day.

I never expected such an harrowing experience from your dealers and officers in charge.

Sue them, they are just worst

If they cant care for customers they dont have rights to claim that they ate industry leaders

this is defenitely going to affect their sale.

I request Hero Honda to check their dealers attitudes because finaly its going to affect company and its sale as in Market there are 100's of options from other companies with your similar products...

Complaint for Bike

This is to bring into your notice that I have purchased a bike (Splender+) from Samta Automobiles, Sonepat, Haryana, whose number is HR10L9258. I always take my bike for servicing to Samta Automobiles for regular service but I am sorry to inform that the services I receive are not up to the mark. Every time most of the things are left unattended like engine & chain set noise, vibration and low average and I have to follow up again and again for the same things many time, which is not acceptable.

I would appreciate if you could personally look into the matter seriously, and please be ensure that all the problems I am facing should be attended at the time of service itself.

I have purchased the splendour + bike from TKT motors tirupur one year back. Whenever we go for service, first two services found satisfactory then, balance all are unsatisfied one.

No proper cleaning of bike, balancing will not be done. some small parts will be missing (when we see some time later service station, they tell it was like that only). Simply part exchanges... etc
we request you to take care... We believe you people and give our valued bike for service and when we become unsatisfied with the way they handle our bike, its simply irritating.

Honda Motor Hero honda: zero after-sales-service

Within 2 days of my purchase of a Hero Honda Glamour, my dealer himself informed me that the brake-jam is defective and it has to be replaced (he was honest). Then it got tested by the service engineer and they promised to replace the part at no cost since it is under warranty. Till that point it was ok. The story starts after that. Almost 3 months have passed so far and no action has been taken yet. I am not able to drive the bike properly. They are saying that the spare part is not available and it will take time. How long ? That is the sign of the worst 2 wheeler company which cannot provide a spare part even in 3 months time. When I tried to contact the east zonal office via telephone numbers given in Hero Honda website, no one picked up the phone. I tried to send them a feedback via their website, but even that did not work. So ultimately I am riding my defective bike at a speed of 30 KMPH. Alas ! Having accepted the fact that India is not no. 1 in after sales service in any commodity, I must say that stay apart from Hero Honda because it is worst in the list. Beware. And as posted by another consumer here, I am also taking the bottomline of providing this feedback to all my friends, relatives and online partners so that I can save them from being victimized by hero honda (and also teach it a lesson).

when i purchased this bike then i feel that my bike rear wheel i have a big problem, its bubling I complane about this in the agencies, but he not understand my problem.he say me that come in afer8 days .after 8days i go there he not doing solution my bike .I say that if he note solve my problem, then i go to court for hero honda company.1st and 2nd to agencies.with in 4 days .

I have bought karizma last 7 months before from chrisma gold wheel Chandigarh in November .
Company sold me 8 months old bike i.e the make is of feb. During free services their is lots of problem in my bike:

1. Clutch plate is opens around 7 times. But nothing has done.

2. The part named tashner is also makes noises and it is totally breaks. Engine also makes noises.

3. Battery in karizma is 15 months old. Battery company is not taking any warranty for that.

4. Tyers bubbles.

I have been your member since July 2001 and today I have visited Khanna Automobiles Showroom, Safdarjung Enclave to redeem the points I accrued.This is my first visit to redeem my points. The moment I showed my passport to Mr.Shri om (Passport executive) he was very indifferent, and casually checked the points and told me that I should produce proofs for the points accumulated until now. My passport clearly shows 16566 points carried forwarded from my old passport which I had renewed from the same Showroom. I have a total of 16972 points until now. I have tried my level best to make them understand that I have not redeemed any points earlier,but they refused to accept my explanation . Immediately I contacted Ms.Ananditha at 011-[protected] head office Vasant vihar, to my surprise she was not helpful to solve my problem. She told me that I would need to wait for few days till they verify all points and she would confirm me the same on phone. She also told me that it is not possible to redeem all points on one fine day.

I never expected such an harrowing experience from your dealers and officers in charge.

Honda Motor Poor after sales service!

Had 2 brand new hondas a 78 civic and 86 civic wagon..both went thru total of 3 head gaskets at about only 100000 miles!
Mechanics all said they are bad engines due to 2 types metal that warp easy. I wrote to honda in los angeles to complain and they had no time to even answer me.

I now own nissan

Tell all not to but honda which i used to support fervently!

I have a honda civic 06 and that car never had a smood cluch and I complain right after I got the car and I was told that was normal for civic 06 the cluh slips when take of and when power is aplied the car give a very rouph jup after over 2 years and 65.000 km they told me that i need new cluh and its not cover by waranty Icall honda canada and they told me nothing they can do .so Ipay 1.600 dollars for new cluh and I still have same problem went back to the deelar and now they told me nothing is wrong with the cra wat can i do to have these car cheked .i have the cluh parts .

Honda Motor Not satisfied with service and behavior of the staff

My vehicle is registered (DL7SAM- 2324) in the name of Mr Nikhil Kr. I am a regularly visiting to workshop which is on G T Rd near to telephone exchange at Dilshad Garden. I am not satisfied with service and behavior of the staff. My bike needs servicing after every 500 kms, and every time they do check enlightenment, if asks what is the problem they say it will be taken care. But i don't know when it will be?

we have visited M/s HIMGIRI AUTOMOBILES, A-74, MAIN ROAD, KANTI NAGAR KRISHNA NAGAR, NEW DELHI-110051, Delhi to purchase a bike on cash payment.
We have enterd the showroom at 1:00 p.m.. After completing the paper formalities, We have go to basement to got our bike from there garage.
But the services & the working staff were of very ir-responsible nature.
There was a problem in adjustment of front panel of bike.They took
About 1 & half hour to correct that.Then when we ask them to give us delievery. They said “bike is ready you can take delievery” without cleaning the dust on
Bike & also widout putting some fuel in tank. When we ask them to put fuel,
Then one service man is asking other & other service man saying to other. No one is putting fuel.
Then we got frustrate & write a complaint & goto manager to got receiving of that complaint. But instead of
Giving us receiving & regretting he is saying.”you can take your cash back & we will cancel the bill”.
We feel very insulted that time. We are not hoping that type of answer from him.
Also when we come out on street the manager with his some staff come out of showroom & started arguing with us.
We have heard before that Hero Honda is very reputed company but that type of behavior from said dealer is very Painful & sad. We have entered the showroom at 1 pm & come out at 5:30(app.5 hrs.)
Sir yours vehicles are very good but the service & behavior of that dealer was very wrong.

Just an advice i want to give to you guys…
if u plan to buy a bike, never buy from AUTO NEEDS showroom in Patparganj, delhi, most of it’s bikes are defective.

One of my friends bought a hero honda passion from auto needs, and it started giving problems right from the next day of purchase. it’s engine started turning off just after few minuts of start.. and it gave a bad noice while riding.

I purchased hero honda hunk from auto needs, and it has been giving gear shift problem since then.

I had a very bad experience with hero honda AuTO Needs showroom. will never recommend you to buy a bike from auto needs, delhi.

I have the problem listed below.

1. Horrible chain sound @ 5 gear.
2. unusual sound in the engine @ 1*1000 rpm & not @ 3*1000.

3 & 4 gear wheel was changed in 2nd service problem was solved @ 90% not 100%

I had bought CBX Xtreme from Mallu Motors (Kolkata, Park Street)
I have given my bike for first service in their own service station. My bike number is WB-07 Y3959. It's been over 2 months and I still haven't got my bike back. It's been a very horrible experience as I keep calling them every week and they always tend to extend the time without taking any initiative. I have not bought my bike for the service station people to use it. I am a lawyer by profession and I going to file a case in the consumer forum to ask for compenstaion. I do hope for your early reply and action as I haven't got any feedback from your side till now. Thanks

I bought CBZ EXTREME few months back and i m not satisfied.again and again it creating the problem.with in a month the gear with in the engine got damage.and my bike get heated only in 5 Km run.i serviced in workshop 2 time.but all time they only do formality with servicing.i don't know weather they are actually servicing the bike or not.

i took 4-5 time my bike in Seervice center Noida and i m not satisfied with the service they have done.

please any one CBZ extream holder let me know abt heating problem.

I m also recommend to all the people don't go for Hero Honda CBZ- EXTREME.

Honda Motor Quote does not match actual cost

I strongly suggest not doing business with Honda Mission Valley in San Diego, California. They charge labor and parts way too expensive. They quote you on the internet with fairly good pricing but once you are down to the service department to work on your car the charges goes way too high.

After contacting major Honda Dealers in San Diego, I found out that Honda Mission Valley charges outrageous labor hrs and parts. Unfortunately, I should have done my homework first but it's too late.

Honda Motor Chandigarh dealer refused to repair engine problem within warranty period!

I have purchased Hero Honda Achiever 150 Sports model bike from Hero Honda dealer Chandigarh "Charisma Goldwheels" and I am following Services of bike time to time. After 6 month now there is some problem in my bike engine in Timing Chain. So when I contact with Chrisma Goldwheel dealer whose also have service centre at Ind. Area, Ph-I to solve this problem. But they refused to repair this problem under warranty. They are saying me that we will not repair this fault under warranty. While my bike is under warranty.

Beware and stay away from Hero Honda!

HI Friends,
I am also facing the warrenty related issue, i have Hero Honda CBZ xtreme 2009 model and in 2011 Feb i have faced some engine noise and went to check in B. K. Motors, Azad Pur, G.t. Kernal Road and Service manager said it is due to adultration Fuel problem and not cover in Hero Honda warrenty terms so we will give goodwill warrenty and it will first and last warrenty and if any case i face any issue related to engine again will not provide warrenty.
As i have ran the bike till 25500 kM and still not completed 3years but the Hero Honda guidlines for warrenty is 3yesrs or 40000KM then why the service company telling this words.
It is kind request to the Hero Hond'sWarrenty team to take care of this case because it is just a 420 case and i think i can claim to consumer court against Hero Honda nad that service based company.

Honda Motor Delivery of new vehicle extended indefinitely!

I had booked a new Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme on the 13th of Jan 2007 from your dealers 'Ideal Motors, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore'. I am extremely frustrated to state that I haven't yet received the bike till date (19th Feb 2007). I had contacted the dealer several times and he gave me all sorts of reasons, 3 of which are painfully interesting, which I have provided below:

1. He told me that a new stock was delivered 2 weeks back, which consisted of only red and silver colored vehicles. Mine, being a black vehicle would still take another week. (And I thought vehicles were being delivered based on the booking forms submitted and not dumping a set of vehicles to be sold at will by the dealer).

2. He finally promised me that the bike would be delivered on Saturday, the 17th of Feb, 2007. On approaching him, he explained to me that the stock was delayed due to the strike that went on in Bangalore for a day. (This was a valid excuse if he had informed me just around a week after the booking, not on the 35th day).

3. I received another call today stating that the stock finally arrived (from Delhi, not from the U.S, mind you). He postponed the date from today to tomorrow, the 20th of Feb, 2007 since the stock was still on the truck and would be unloaded only tomorrow and then they had to check the vehicle for complaints. (I always believed they finished that at the factory level).

I am seriously sick and tired of this sort of customer service and I am sorry to say I have lost all interest in your vehicle. The payment was made and all relevant documents were submitted at the exact dates on which they were supposed to be. Just due to the fact that I didn't go up to the showroom and create a big scene, which would discourage prospective customers from buying your vehicles, my case is being postponed indefinitely.

I would like to add that no bike which is being manufactured in India is worth waiting for 40 days. If this is the kind of marketing and customer service that Hero Honda wishes to extend to its customers, I am sorry to say that it is a huge disappointment being associated with a company like this. Is Hero Honda no more interested in selling their bikes...

Complaint regarding Hero honda CBZ X-Treme i bought it on july 2008 from Aishwarya Auto Mobile Neharu Nager Bhilai (ChhattishGadh), after two month i got oil leakage problem from engine where as my claimed has been full filed by the company, but now my bike has been run around 20000km and again it is getting "Ring problem" in engine, it is smoking by silencer and engine oil getting dry...how defected engine throw into the market to banish your reputation, now what should i do to claim my bike...if i get positive response by your side on behalf of your company then kindly do my favor soon ...other wise i would move for consumer forum this time for further action cause defected pic is delivered me by the company.

Dear Sir,
I own a cbz extreme bike(model 2007).The problem with the bike is that the engine is stalled and is turning off in the rainy seasons, which could have caused a mojor acident as it today turned off today morning.I have repeatedly told the dealer (Charisma goldwhwwls)in chandigarh at every service they did.But they didnt solved the problem while also assuring me that this time problem have been solved. I am fed up If today i had an accident, then whose responsbility would be it.I need an answer.
If this problem is not rectified soon then i would file a case against
you.By the i also planned to buy a bike for my brother, But i think i should change my mind.

I agree that the behavior of employees and service of bikes is very poor. Even after first three services they didn't even checked my CBZ-X battery water level.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND Hero honda service centers at all even if it voids my bikes warranty, i recommend newly opened castrol service centers (or your prefered local bike service shops). they thoroughly check your vehicle and their customer satisfaction rate is above average.
What i do is regularly service my bike at castrol service center and also get it serviced at HH service center. We all know that at HH center they just change the engine oil (god knows) and wash the bike (sometimes if they have time).
So following this routine, my bike is still in excellent condition (after 16,000KM in 10 months).

With due respect I beg to say that This Sandeep Pokhriyal have purchased Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme from Himgiri automobile at Krishna Nagar on 2nd Feb 2007. My bike met with an accident before two month ago and its shocker got damaged. When I went to service center to repair it then they told me that it won’t repair, it will be replaced, but for that you need to go for claim. At the time of purchasing,they gave me the warranty of one year. Even I accepted this and when I went to replaced it they took my bike for a whole week changed some parts without changed the shocker whom for I was claimed .Now they are saying that it won’t replaced with warranty you need to change it without warranty. But still my bike is in warranty. I have got only four services till today. Now say! Is it my fault to purchase Hero Honda bike?

It’s also informed you that I used the services for my bike from R.K Automobiles at Jhil-mil.

I therefore request you to do needful for that. For your kindness I will always be obliged to you.

Reference to my earlier complaint of 1st November, 2007, your zonal office representative Sh. Mahajan had attended it. Thereafter, the bike was given in the Workshop for resolving the issue. The bike was after some R & D, given to me and a letter was got signed by me that it is procedure to do it saying that the vehicle working satisfactorily without my riding and running the required KMs. I was told that there would not be any problem now, and it would be roused by running 3-400 kms. I observed that from the engine head oil is leaking from the stud after this R&D. Noise still exists. Changing of gear is very hard.

I am extremely sorry to put on record that I am not at all SATISFIED by the bike as well as your people. I am taking a last chance to bring this fact to your notice and thereafter I shall have no other alternative but to go to public media as well as grievance handling Court to resolve this issue as your tall talks could not satisfied me.

Now this is my last request to earnestly get me REPLACED THE BIKE and release me from this every day mental toucher.

Honda Motor Defective oil seal from the factory

A defective, brand new Honda 2007 model CR-V had a defective oil seal from the factory. It was sold by Honda of Serramonte at 485 Serramonte Blvd., Colma City, CA, 94014, [protected] at 16 miles. Luckily, we did not go too far away--otherwise, the car would have stalled on the freeway when oil had been drained, would leading to an fatal accident!

We had it for only 2 hours, from 6 to 8pm. On Nov. 16, 2006, my spouse, May Choi, drove it from the dealership to dinner. After dinner, we found that a line trail of oil was coming into the garage and under the car all way to below the engine. The next morning, Nov. 17, 2006, the car was returned to dealer with a reading of 51 miles.

They cashed out our money, $22,000 and gave us a broken car. At Dealership, We were not able to reach the manager. after 45 minutes sad, angry and helplessly waiting in the dealership. We had contacted the main Honda customer office. someone came to us We felt From 10am to 1:30pm, we were frustrated and lost. We spend a lot of money on them but they did not really care about it.

We lost confidence on that car and Honda.
(1) That CR-V was made defectively.
(2) Oil was leaking out. It is a life or death matter on freeway!
(3) Originally, operation of 2007 CR-V had caused some damage. Some parts had to be replaced.
(4) It may be defective in some other parts. We were afraid to take that defective car on the road.
(5) It's not a new car any more. The leaking will affected and damaged some other parts. A lot of parts were taken apart to make repairs. Their inspections had failed before. We lost confidence on that dealership.
(6) The inspector failed to find the problem. [It was defective in factory.]
(7) The customer service was poor. On 11/17/2006, we were let waiting till. after almost an hour had passed, and the Honda main office was contacted.
(8)They were unwilling to satisfy our request [they refused to replaced it with another one]. Neither Honda and Dealership do not want to take care of us.
(9) Also They want to make profit by taking it back for less than we had pay for.

That is a wrong way to treat the customer.

Dear sir

I have Honda CRV model 2002 purchased in October 29 2002.

I have completed 210, 000 km. I always recommed my collegues to by the Honda vehicle, but for my bad luck 2 times my AC compressor has been broken down in 7 and half years. Now again 3rd time my vehicle is in Honda work shop for repair/replace of compressor which I can not afford to repair in Dubai. Please help me in fixing this car and I promise to Market the Honda products among my friends and relatives. CRV performance is very good only the AC is giving me trouble.
Previously I have been using Honda Civic VTI where I never had problems for 7 years.

I have been sincerely servicing the vehicle in authorised Honda workshop in UAE, Shahrja. Now I would like to go for new Honda CRV but I am losing confidence in buying Honda Products coz I may encounter many more problems.

I totally see where you are coming from. Unfortunately here in Australia we are more susceptible to such disasters as we do not have the lemon law you have in the US.

Honda Motor Complete warranty problem

The Honda national customer service rep at [protected] said that the complete warranty service did not cover the reattachment/replacement of the rubber item that's partly detached and dangling from below the front bumper of the 2003 Honda Civic Sedan 4DR LX.

The Honda customer rep said it was the fault of the car operator and they would be glad to send me a copy of the complete warranty contract.

The Honda rep. would not disclose if there is a "problem" with this type of easily detached rubber. It appears that simply by parking and driving the front bumper over a curb that scrapes the bumper one can easily have the rubber rubbed off or loose.

The local dealership where we bought the car new said they would be glad replace the rubber item for their full fees of parts, labor, and taxes. John Eagle Honda Houston, [protected] at 18787 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX.

I have the same problem. I have gone under the car on two separate occasions to try to re-attach the rubber guard.

Honda Motor Poor performance of vehicles

I have Bought Hero Honda Glamour Gls. Which in compare to other bike gives u a very bad performance. While driving the bike the shock absorber are so bad that the impact is directly on the back of a person driving the bike. I complained about this to the Hero Honda but there are no changes in the bike. Since i have bought my bike it vibrates like anything. I told them about that also. But i don't know they just say it is a problem with every bike. But i took a test drive of all bike but i found that problem only in my bike. Now they are not ready to listen to us. My bike is not a even a month old and there are so many problems in the bike.
