Healthmaster Elite blender

Upon calling a second time to report smelling/tasting rubber after 'blending' as per instructions, I'm told by a CSR my model JLA-8 is no longer available. I was transferred to the parts department for further handling. The gentleman with whom I spoke informed me they're no longer associated with Montel Williams and the product has been discontinued. The product is not even being manufactured anymore! Nice. His recourse was to send me a new pitcher even though my lifetime warranty implies the entire device would be replaced. Apparently the warranty is a shill and the 'parts' covered by the warranty include only the pitcher. If I want a new motor base I have to send it at my cost and pay $29.99! So, as a favor, he's sending a new pitcher at no cost... :-/ I'm concerned the entire thing is a waste of time and money. Should maybe have bought the NutriBullet instead. Some lessons are harder to learn than others.

Healthmaster It leaks

I purchased the health master model: YD-2088E with a life time warranty (paid $200.00) used it less than 20 times. I called the company I was told the bearings were gone because it was leaking from the bottom.I was transferred to someone else and was told this model had been discontinued. Nothing could be done. It's awful that Montel Williams would endorse this product

Purchased the Montel Williams endorsed Healthmaster started leaking oil. Customer service is a nightmare.

Unit worked for 40 days. started to notice a smell like burning plastic, or hot smell. next time used smoked, poped circutbreaker. will not work now. On fixed income. I now have a $200.oo flower pot.

Healthmaster Don't waste $269

I thought I was buying a quality appliance but within one month the Montel Williams "Healthmaster blender" started spitting out brown oil. Then this oil got into the actual container where you put your food. We called the company and got put on hold for over 20 minutes. We called back and the same thing happened. Finally I decided to look up what other customers had to say about this machine, and found that there were plenty of people who had the same or similar experiences and got taken by this shoddy piece of junk. Please do not buy this and waste your money! If I can keep one person from buying it, it will be worth it. We lost $269. Since no one would come back to the phone after repeated calls to Tristar, we just threw the Healthmaster in the trash...where it belongs. I'm contacting everyone I know on Twitter and Facebook to warn them about this product and the horrible customer service.

Healthmaster Poor Customer Service and Order issues

Be very careful to watch what is going on with your order. I tried placing an order online on Jan 18th but the order would not go through. I called immediately on the toll free number and placed an order. I received an email confirmation of my order and was expecting to receive it. I learnt that my order was cancelled and another order was sent in its place without all the things i requested, i wanted the upgrade, the extra recipe books and the 6 years warranty. Now I am going to receive an order I do not want, my bank account has been debited which means i am out of the money until they receive their product back and refund me. Lord knows when this will happen. To top this, i placed another order for my aunt on Friday, the amount is pendinf on my bank account but I am being told that my bank declined the order so it is cancelled. I called my bank and they denied declining the amount and stil the amount is pending which means 198 dollars of my money is tied up in this blender and there is no telling when it will be available for my use. To add insult to injury, the customer service representative give the worse service, they are rude, don't listen, the supervisor never call when they should. This whole experience was the worse for me. I want my money back and i will never order products from that company. before this i really respected Montel, everything that came out of his mouth was like gospel to me. Now I will never buy another product that he endorses because i will never forget this experience. I am hoping to receive my money soon because i cannot waste time, i need to buy something else that will help me lose weight and hopefully bring me back to health.

I ordered a free sample of a vitamin supplement and paid the shipping of $8.99 but was charged $198.70 on my credit card. My CC company contacted me immediately and denied the charge. I will not ever use this company and let the BBB know.

Healthmaster Burned Out

After having trouble sleeping I saw the Monetl Healthmaster Infomercial and was very impressed by the quality they showed and all of the benefits. I called and yes the order taker tried to sell me everything you could imagine. At the end of it all I got the 1200 watt unit. Good thing for the 60 day money back guarantee. After 30 days I have lubricant from the Bearing on the Pitcher bottom leaking. I called to ask how I return the unit for a refund, if you get an error message when calling it means they are closed, call again and keep notes. The lady asked if I would keep the unit if I took a discount. I stated that If they gave me a 100% discount I would keep the unit. I am pleased to say that the refund was processed on my credit card 3 days later and I am now the owner of a great looking boat anchor...lesson learned, don't believe what you see on TV, research first. Had I seen the reviews that are all over the internet I would have saved a bundle of time. The good news is my family is missing their smoothies so now I can justify a Vita Mix...

Healthmaster customer service

I ordered the Healthmaster late last night - after doing a lot of research on the reviews, I was very skeptical. I decided to call their customer service this morning to ask questions. I asked is their an estimate of how Healthmasters have been sold since its been on the market. The customer Service rep snapped said - she is just in Customer Service should would not have that information. I told her that I saw alot of complaints on the product have those problems been address...she snapped again - said"either you buy it or you don't" - I told her they also complained about customer service - and they were correct. She hung up on me. I called 10 minutes later to request to cancel my order. I was put on hold by a gentleman in cs - he hung up on me. I called a third time to attempt to cancel my order - the cs pulled up my info - and said that based on my last call - per the notes - that I was very upset because the cs told me that I could not cancel my order. I told him that I never spoke to anyone - the last cs hung up on me. He put me on hold and spoke to the other gentleman cs - came back and said you are correct, he said you were disconnected. I asked him - we did that cs say those things that was not true. he said he was not sure. I asked him can i cancel my order. he said no, the order has already shipped. i placed this order at 12 :30 est - i called at 10 am est - I asked him - what happened to it taking 4-6 weeks to shipped. he did not have an answer.

Healthmaster DOUBLE BILLING/POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

After a lengthy sales commentary trying to sell me everything from the blender to vacation packages, etc. I had to shout at them to please order the machine only that I was not interested in anything else.
THEN THEY DOUBLE BILLED ME! TO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ORDERS ON CREDIT CARD. I phoned the
customer service 8 times and never could get through due to high volume and disconnect. After the first attempt the recording refuses to let me wait and talk to a representative by stating, "invalid entry". ..then disconnects. The web site offers the same phone number and message. Talk about poor customer service. I wish I had never ordered the machine and I haven't even received it yet! Montel you sure dupped me, I had faith in you. MAKE IT RIGHT! HUNDREDS OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND STILL TRYING TO FIX IT

My experiences with Montel Williams" HealthMaster leaves me disappointed and "scammed by a man that I used to admire! The pressure tactics are inhumane, and I'm so sorry I did not just hang up when being bombarded with the frustrating sales pitches. They make it easy to order by providing a toll-free number and the website to hook you, but when you need to contact them after you're hooked, you can only reach them via a regular long distance toll number, and when you call, you are again bombarded - at the customer's expense - with more sales pitches, and a long wait. I called this morning to get a "required" Return Authorization number" and, after a lengthy sales pitch, some words in Spanish, and numbers to press, "Kelly" asked me my name and zipcode, which I provided. She said: "Give me one moment" and put me on hold, and never came back on. I held on for 3 minutes (at my expense), hung up and redialed, but then an automated message said there'd be a "22-minute wait" for a customer "service?" rep. Funny that it didn't take that long to place the order! When the blender arrived, I unpacked it and found it to be humongously large, which will not work for me, since I live in a small Manhattan studio apartment, with a tiny kitchen with very limited counter space. I did not even try the device, since I am not able to clean it after use, because the plastic container will not fit under my small sink faucet -- I would have to resort to cleaning it in my bathtub or shower! I am 71 years old, with arthritis, and there's no way I could handle the container when it is full of liquid. I was so frustrated by this morning's experience that I immediately called my credit card company, disputed the charges and filed a complaint - I will also be filing complaints with other agencies. Another thing: The shipping charges are inordinately high ($30) - and now I will have to incur the charges to return the item. With these two shipping charges, I could have bought a high-end blender. My lesson here: NEVER, NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AN INFOMERCIAL!
