I purchased a HealthMaster Elite. I used it for several weeks, making ONLY smoothies, using nothing harder than frozen fruit and/or ice and within a short few weeks the motor started to make a burning smell like it was straining to work. I had not even used it yet for all of the other uses it claimed to be able to do like make hot soup, make bread dough, etc. I called the company, they said to pay $29.95 and they will replace the motor unit. Another one came, and I could tell immediately it wasn't new but re-furbished because of all the "oily" substance that was coming off of it when handled. I used it for a couple of weeks and again the same thing, a burning smell comes out of the motor like its burning up...I wrote to the company via email and NEVER heard from them...I feel I basically spent a couple of hundred dollars on junk!!! I only bought it because it was backed by a celebrity...where is he now that it doesn't work?!!!
