HealthBoards.com Disappointing Experience with HealthBoards: Lack of Transparency in Moderation Process

I was looking for some medical advice about a rash that I had, and that's how I stumbled upon HealthBoards (healthboards.com). I was hoping to find some answers and maybe even connect with others who had similar experiences. After posting my question, I started browsing through other posts and answering some questions that I had personal experience with. I thought I was being helpful and contributing to the community.

However, the next day when I tried to log in, I was shocked to see a message saying that my account had been suspended for spamming. I was confused and didn't understand what I had done wrong. I immediately contacted the email address provided to appeal my suspension.

The response I received from the administrator was not what I was expecting. They simply stated that I had violated the rules and that they don't keep records for me. I was taken aback by their dismissive tone and lack of explanation. I tried to explain my side of the story and how I thought I was being helpful, but they didn't seem to care.

I was disappointed by the way I was treated by the moderator and the lack of transparency in their decision-making process. If they are going to provide an email address for appeals, they should be willing to listen to their users and provide a clear explanation of why they were suspended. It's frustrating to feel like you're being punished without understanding what you did wrong.

Overall, my experience with HealthBoards was not a positive one. While I appreciate the idea behind the site and the potential for connecting with others who have similar health concerns, the way they handle suspensions and appeals needs improvement. I hope they can take feedback from their users and make changes to create a more welcoming and supportive community.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards: Spreading Dangerous Misinformation About HIV and Putting Lives at Risk

This website, HealthBoards, is a complete disaster. I recently posted a question about HIV testing and transmission, and the moderator who responded was incredibly rude and didn't even bother to read my entire reply. When I tried to correct him on his misinformation about HIV not being able to be transmitted through oral sex and saliva, he completely ignored me. It's ridiculous that someone who is supposed to be knowledgeable about health would be so ignorant about such an important topic.

To make matters worse, when I mentioned my ex who had put my health and life at risk with lies and cheating, the moderator used that as an excuse to delete my post and account. It's clear that the real reason was because I called him out on his ignorance. He was telling people that HIV cannot be transmitted through "salvia," which is just plain wrong. While it's not as common as other modes of transmission, it is still possible if there is blood present. I even tried to make a helpful comment on another post about the importance of getting tested for HIV, and that was also removed for no reason.

These people are a complete joke and are putting people's lives at risk by spreading false information about HIV. I'm still receiving emails from one of them, and I hope he stops soon because I have better things to do than deal with these idiots. He even tried to tell me that there are no documented cases of HIV transmission through oral sex and saliva, which is completely false. There are plenty of documented cases that can be easily found online.

Overall, this website is a disgrace and I'm very concerned that they're giving out such dangerous information. I hope people are able to see through their lies and misinformation and seek out accurate information elsewhere.

HealthBoards.com My Disappointing Experience with HealthBoards: A Review of the Health-Related Discussion Platform

I recently signed up for HealthBoards, a website that provides a platform for people to discuss various health-related topics. I was excited to join the community and share my experience with others. However, my experience was not what I expected.

I started a thread asking if anyone had undergone a certain medical procedure and included a website for reference. To my surprise, I was permanently banned from the website. I was shocked and confused as to why this happened. I tried to reach out to the moderator to understand the reason behind my ban, but they didn't seem to care.

After a few emails, I finally received a response from the moderator. They explained that any disallowed website or business information is considered spam and that I should have read the terms of use before posting. They also mentioned that it is the user's responsibility to know and follow the rules.

I was disappointed with the moderator's response. I felt that they were not willing to listen to my side of the story and were quick to judge me. I also found it frustrating that they did not provide any warning before banning me permanently.

Upon further investigation, I found that HealthBoards has strict posting rules and terms of service. Members are responsible for learning and following all rules and instructions on their own. Any disrespectful communication to or about the moderators is cause for a permanent ban.

While I understand the importance of having rules and guidelines, I feel that HealthBoards could have been more lenient in my case. I believe that my post was not harmful or disrespectful in any way and that I was simply seeking information from others who may have undergone a similar procedure.

In conclusion, my experience with HealthBoards was not a positive one. I would advise others to read the terms of service carefully before posting anything on the website. It is important to follow the rules and guidelines to avoid any misunderstandings or conflicts with the moderators.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards.com Censors Personal Experience and Self-Help Book on Anxiety and Depression

I gotta say, HealthBoards.com really grinds my gears. I mean, come on, isn't the whole point of a site like this (especially the Mental Health Board Forums) to help people find real solutions to their anxiety and depression issues without relying solely on medication? It's not rocket science!

But apparently, they didn't like me trying to help someone out with my own personal experience and knowledge. And let me tell you, I've been through the wringer with anxiety and depression for a solid 25 years. But at 46 years old, I finally stumbled upon the perfect set of coping skills and tools that truly made a difference. Unfortunately, I was a bit too impatient (like most humans tend to be) and made some mistakes along the way.

It wasn't until 10 years later that I realized my errors and started writing a self-help book based on my experiences and what I had learned. I poured my heart and soul into it for 2 years and 5 months, and I know it's something special, effective, and powerful. So many people could benefit from it, but HealthBoards.com won't let me share it! It's just not right.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Oh, this guy's just trying to make a quick buck." But that couldn't be further from the truth. I just want to help someone else avoid the same struggles I went through. If you don't believe me, check out the website for my book, "Rise and Shine Anxiety & Depression & Life Management Tools." You can even read the preface and judge for yourself: www.RiseandShineAandDandLifeMgmtTools.com

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards Moderators: Power-Hungry and Incompetent. Don't Waste Your Time

I gotta tell ya, HealthBoards ain't all it's cracked up to be. I tried to post a question and it got taken down for "advertising", which I didn't even do! When I asked what the heck they were talking about, they said there was some ad about a diet pill or something on my post. I told them I didn't put that there and they apologized and said it was a glitch. But then they took down my post again and suspended my account for asking about a medical procedure that wasn't FDA approved. I mean, come on, I just wanted some info on stem cell injections for knee pain!

So I asked them to reinstate my post if I took out the part about the non-FDA approved procedure, and they agreed. But then a veteran member answered my question and suggested the very thing I had asked about before! I couldn't believe it. And when I pointed out that their rules don't say anything about not asking about non-FDA procedures, they just banned me for "not liking rules" and something about "phishing". What a joke.

Honestly, most of the moderators on HealthBoards seem to get off on their little bit of power. They suspend or ban people for no reason and don't even know their own rules. My advice? Go somewhere else for help. These guys aren't worth the hassle.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards: A Supportive Community Turned Rude and Arrogant

I used HealthBoards back in 2010 when I was dealing with cancer. The people there were supportive and helpful. I met some great folks. I didn't have any problems using the site.

Fast forward six years later.

I was on another forum and someone recognized me from HealthBoards. I asked if they still used the site and they said no way. They said something had changed and it wasn't good. A few months later, a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer. I thought about using HealthBoards to ask some questions about alternative treatments. I remembered the warning, but I decided to give it a try.

That was a big mistake. The people who say the moderators are rude and arrogant are right. I asked about treatment options for my friend's illness. I didn't use links because I remembered they don't allow them. I asked for some key search words so I could find links myself. The moderators jumped all over me. They said I violated multiple rules. They were rude and cold. It was like being in a prison camp.

I try to follow the rules of a website, but there are so many rules on HealthBoards. I guess I didn't remember all of them. Even after reading them again, I still don't know what rule I broke. I mentioned the words search engine. Maybe that's not allowed? I mentioned alternative treatments. Maybe that's a big no-no? I think the site has become part of Big Pharma. They don't want any threats to their agenda.

Don't use this site.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards Moderators: Irrational and Rude - My Frustrating Experience

I recently had an experience with HealthBoards that left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. While I appreciate the concept of a community forum for individuals to discuss their health concerns, I found the moderators and administrators to be irrational and rude in their behavior. It seems as though they are on power trips, expecting members to beg and plead for their posting privileges to be returned.

In my case, my account was suspended without any warning or explanation. When I reached out to inquire about the reason for my suspension, I received a message stating that I had violated the terms of use by promoting unapproved websites. However, I was only providing links to articles and research, not promoting any particular website.

When I attempted to explain this to the moderators, I was met with silence. It was frustrating to feel as though my honest mistake was being punished so harshly, especially given the fact that I have several painful and debilitating medical conditions. I rely on forums like HealthBoards to connect with others who are going through similar experiences, and I did not expect to be met with such hostility.

While I understand the need for rules and regulations on a forum like HealthBoards, I believe that the moderators and administrators should be more understanding and compassionate in their approach. After all, the purpose of the forum is to provide support to individuals who are already dealing with enough stress and difficulty in their lives. Punishing members for honest mistakes only adds to that stress and difficulty.

In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering joining HealthBoards to be aware of the strict rules and regulations that are in place. While the forum can be a valuable resource for individuals dealing with health concerns, it is important to tread carefully and be mindful of the moderators' expectations.

HealthBoards.com Healthboards.com Review: Poor Privacy and Administration

This website is not worth your time. They do not respect your privacy and will even edit or delete your personal information without your permission. I posted a thread about my symptoms of fibroids and they deleted it, claiming it was against their terms to mention personal information in threads. However, isn't that the whole point of Healthboards.com? To ask questions and get help with your health concerns? Apparently not. The administrators seem to have no regard for their members' privacy and will even log into your personal account without notifying you. It's difficult to find their messages after the fact, and they make it nearly impossible to delete your account. If you have any concerns or issues, don't bother contacting them because they are extremely rude and unhelpful. I only joined this site because I needed to ask a health question, but it turned out to be a huge hassle. I had to beg them to delete my account, and they ignored me for a long time. Save yourself the headache and go with a more professionally administered site that respects your privacy.

HealthBoards.com Healthboards.com Review: A Negative Experience with Confusing Rules and Lack of Health Information Sharing

Healthboards.com is a health site that I have had a very negative experience with. In my opinion, it is the worst site on the Internet. The rules are so confusing that it would be easier if they just listed what is allowed instead of what is not allowed. As a health site, it is important to note that people with medical problems are seeking support and information from others. However, it is ridiculous that sharing health information is not allowed on a health site. They do allow sharing the name of an information site or product one time, but that is not helpful at all.

Even sharing health information in private messages with others who want to know is not allowed. I received an email from the site stating that it was wrong for me to give URLs with information, even though the two of us had agreed to share them and never asked each other to stop sending them. Private messages are supposed to be private, but it seems like the site is monitoring them. It is very controlling and wants to control people.

In my opinion, the site should be illegal for people to request what appears to be a diagnosis for their conditions. Only a doctor should be allowed to do that. It is understandable if someone states that they have similar physical problems that their doctor told them what it was, but adding to that the same symptoms can be other medical problems, so only a doctor can diagnose.

I did not even bother to ask for an appeal because I realized when I joined and read the rules that it would not be a site that I would be happy with. The rules are the longest I have ever read, and some of them are hard to understand. If you are thinking about joining this site, I suggest reading all the rules first and making sure you understand them.

HealthBoards.com Health Forum Review: Confusing Rules and Blunt Administrator - Proceed with Caution

This website is a big health board forum that I have been a member of for over ten years. I have also been a member of other forums (non-medical) and I know how rules work. I like interacting with the members, but watch out if you deal with the administrator. He is very blunt and has a sarcastic tone.

I researched their parent company and I noticed the other forums they manage have very similar complaints to this forum. I'll be on here until they ban me. I use it to help other people, but I don't really like posting too much. Here are some things that I noticed from the rules--they aren't written well and are confusing. Take about 30 minutes to really read them.

So here are some things that are important on the website - you can't recommend websites or post website links. In the rules, there are rare exceptions such as using their sister site (another medical website) or medical website that end in. Gov can be posted. However, the information must be requested by the member asking the question. So, there are so rare occasions to even post a website I'd recommend not posting any website or mention names. You can get in trouble for mentioning other medical websites or services or even review websites.

Newbies are not supposed to be allowed to post/reply to private messages, but the forum software allows it. The administrator claims it's a forum error, but nothing has been done to fix it. With other members you're supposed to send a test private message asking permission to communicate with them. No other forum I have ever been on makes you jump through all these hoops. If you do get caught messaging a newbie the administrator team can give you a warning (which they call infractions). However, they can close your account for any reason and at any time. I believe they gave me the benefit of the doubt because I have been a member for so long. However, as you see below, there are many people who were members for a long time (like me) and got banned without warning.

If you promote a product in many threads, you can get in trouble for advertising. You have to be very careful with it as they can interpret the rules anyway they want and get you in trouble. Typically, look for the other member asking what product or treatment they should use. If they don't specifically say anything, I will ask them what they have used or if they're asking what product/treatment to use. You really have to cover your buns because the administrator can get you into trouble for the stupidest things.

Some other odd rules - on many other forums, someone might ask you something private or off topic, so you say on the forum - go ahead and send me a PM. Forget about it on this forum, it's against the rules. Then remember what I said above? You have to send a test PM - and ask permission if you can message them. Oh and if it's a newbie you're not supposed to message them because it's in the rules not to. Their forum software is supposed to be set up to not allow newbies to have access to it, but they do.

For privacy reasons, you're supposed to use a user name that is anonymous (doesn't include your first and last name), supposedly if you do, they have the right to ban your account. Now get this, if you refer to them by their full user name (and they used their full name), YOU can get in trouble. But, hey, weren't they supposed to ban them in the first place for breaking the rules? Nope, it doesn't matter, YOU still get in trouble. Oh, and don't refer to the first poster by any slang terms (OP) - you'll get in trouble there, too!

Then they say be yourself and don't be afraid to post. To be honest with you, if I were a newbie, I WOULD be afraid to post because they put so many road blocks. If I weren't a long time member, I would never sign up for this website. If you're thinking you want to sign up for this website, just keep in mind of their not so logical rules and they can and will close your account at any time for any reason.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards: A Lifesaving Resource for Health Support and Information

I gotta say, HealthBoards (healthboards.com) is a real lifesaver for folks like me who are dealing with some serious health issues. Whether it's a family member, a partner, or even yourself who's going through a tough time, this website is a great place to find support and information.

I mean, let's face it, life can be pretty complicated sometimes, especially when it comes to health. But with HealthBoards, you can connect with people who are going through the same thing as you, and get the help and advice you need to get through it.

The message boards on this site cover a wide range of health conditions and topics, so you're sure to find something that's relevant to your situation. And the best part is, the community here is really supportive and understanding. You don't have to feel alone in your struggles anymore.

Personally, I've found HealthBoards to be a great resource for learning about my own health issues, as well as those of my loved ones. The discussions here are informative and educational, and I've picked up a lot of useful tips and advice from other members.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards: Strict Rules, Rude Members, and Unnecessary Suspensions

I gotta say, HealthBoards ain't my cup of tea. I mean, who has the time to read through all them rules and remember every single one? I'm no spring chicken, I'm pushing 70, and I just wanted to help out some other folks going through breast cancer like I did 8 years ago. But nope, I got slapped with a suspension in no time flat. Seems like the admins are more interested in punishing folks than creating a space for us to come together, get some info, and support each other.

It really stung to be accused of breaking the rules when I didn't even know I was doing it. I mean, how do they expect us to keep up with all that legal mumbo jumbo? I don't know how HealthBoards stays relevant with all their strictness. There's other sites out there that don't treat you like a criminal for a simple mistake.

Honestly, the folks on HealthBoards can be downright rude and impertinent. They seem to exist just to find fault with others. It's like they're hiding behind a curtain, pulling strings and making themselves feel important by punishing us regular folks. I wouldn't be surprised if they could use a good shrink to take a look at 'em. Sad little people, if you ask me.

HealthBoards.com Disappointing Experience on HealthBoards: Rude Moderators and Censorship

I gotta tell ya, I had a real weird experience on HealthBoards. I was just asking a simple question about Plan B, and next thing I know my post is gone! They said it was because I mentioned abortion, but I wasn't even talking about that! I tried to explain myself to the moderator, but he just got all mad and banned me. I mean, what's up with that? It's not like I was doing anything wrong. And I've seen other posts on there about Plan B that haven't been deleted, so why me? It just doesn't make sense.

Honestly, I think the moderators over there are just plain rude. They don't seem to care about helping people or answering questions. They just want to boss everyone around and make themselves feel important. And don't even get me started on the whole "abortion" thing. I mean, come on! It's a medical procedure, right? So why can't we talk about it? It's not like we're doing anything illegal or immoral.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience on HealthBoards. I thought it would be a good place to get some health advice and connect with other people who are going through similar things. But instead, I just got banned for no reason and treated like a criminal. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone, unless you like being talked down to and treated like a child.

HealthBoards.com Negative Experience with HealthBoards: Strict Moderators and Dangerous Advice

I was a member of HealthBoards for a long time, but I had to leave at the beginning of last year. The moderators there are very strict and don't tolerate any disagreement. If you say something that goes against what they believe, they will delete your post and ban you from the forum. I've seen this happen many times, and it's very frustrating.

The worst part is that there is a lot of bad advice on HealthBoards. People who are not qualified to give medical advice are doing so anyway, and it can be dangerous. I've tried to correct some of the misinformation, but I always get a warning from the moderators. They don't want to hear anything that contradicts what they believe.

Even if you post a link to a real study, they will delete it and warn you. It's very frustrating because you want to help people, but you can't. The moderators are too strict and don't want to hear anything that goes against their beliefs.

I finally got fed up and told the administrator where he could stick his forum. Of course, I was banned immediately. I don't recommend HealthBoards to anyone. If you need medical advice, go to your doctor. Don't trust random people on the internet who may not know what they're talking about.

Overall, my experience with HealthBoards was very negative. I felt worse after being on the forum than I did before. I don't recommend it to anyone.

HealthBoards.com Healthboards: Rude Moderators and Restrictive Rules - A Warning to Medical Forum Users

I've been a member of a lot of support sites, and I even moderated one for a British medical charity. Let me tell you, I was pretty surprised by how the folks running Healthboards treat their members. They're just plain rude, and they'll ban you for anything they feel like. It seems like the rules are pretty flexible, and they can do whatever they want. They won't even let you post links to outside sites or research from Pubmed, which is just ridiculous for a health board. It's way too restrictive to be helpful to anyone.

And it's not just that they're rude to people who don't know much about their condition. They seem to have a problem with people who are well-informed and want to help others. Maybe they're just jealous? I don't know, but there's definitely something wrong with this board. If you have any kind of medical condition, I'd recommend finding a different forum. Maybe one that's specifically for your condition.

And if you do get banned, don't bother trying to contact the admin. I tried twice, and I never got a response. My advice? Just steer clear of this site. I'm pretty sure they have some kind of agenda, and I wouldn't be surprised if it involves money. Especially now that they're selling an app. I'm just glad I didn't waste any money finding out how bad this forum really is.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards Review: Frustrating Experience with Arrogant Administrators

HealthBoards is a website that could be good if they just got rid of the administrators. I had a bad experience with them about six years ago when an administrator told me I wasn't following the rules. They never explained to me what I was doing wrong, so I asked for clarification. Instead of helping me, they banned me from the site. Recently, I decided to give it another try and downloaded their smartphone app for $1.99. When I tried to log in, I was told to contact the administrator via email. I did so, but was told that I was still banned. They said they would let me back on if I promised to follow the rules, but I was never told what I did wrong in the first place. It was frustrating because I just wanted a clear answer. They told me not to argue with the administrators, but how could I not when I didn't even know what I did wrong? They said they don't keep records that long, so I'm just being punished without any explanation. I'm banned again, likely forever. I'm also asking for my $1.99 back from iTunes. I can't believe how rude and arrogant they are. I've been on a lot of forums and never had a problem with any of them. It's frustrating to deal with people like that. Overall, I'm done with HealthBoards and won't be using their site again.

HealthBoards.com Healthboards: Unhelpful and Snotty Moderators Ruin Experience

I recently joined Healthboards, a health forum, and I must say, my experience has been less than satisfactory. I have been a part of many online forums, but this one takes the cake for being the most unhelpful and snotty, especially when it comes to the moderators.

I took the time to write a detailed post about my medical condition and asked for advice from the community. However, within an hour, my post was taken down, and I received a message from the moderators stating that I had violated the forum rules by asking for medical advice. They even went as far as to suggest that I was ignorant and unhelpful for asking for advice on a health forum. I mean, who else would I turn to for advice on a health forum if not the community of people who have experienced similar situations?

What's even more frustrating is that there are countless posts on the forum asking for medical advice, and yet my post was taken down. It seems like they only want people who are not too articulate and informed on the forum.

If you're looking for a helpful and supportive health forum, I suggest you stay far away from Healthboards. The moderators are rude, unhelpful, and will not hesitate to take down your post if they feel like it. Save yourself the trouble and find a better forum to join.

I recently joined Healthboards, a health forum, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. In particular, the moderators' conduct has been less than helpful and often dismissive.

I took the initiative to share a detailed post about my medical condition, seeking advice from the community. To my surprise, my post was promptly removed, and I received a message from the moderators claiming a violation of forum rules for seeking medical advice. This response felt discouraging, especially considering it's a health forum, where seeking advice from those with similar experiences is expected.

What's even more frustrating is the apparent inconsistency, as numerous posts requesting medical advice remain untouched. It appears that they prefer less articulate or informed forum participants.

If you're seeking a supportive and helpful health forum, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Healthboards' moderators may come across as rude, unhelpful, and trigger-happy in taking down posts. Save yourself the hassle and seek out a more accommodating community.

HealthBoards.com HealthBoards: Once a Great Resource, Now Ruined by New Management

I've been using HealthBoards for over a decade now, and I must say that it has been a great resource for me. I've posted hundreds of times on various subjects, and I've had many fruitful discussions with other members. The advice I've received from them has been invaluable, and I hope that I've been able to help others as well.

However, my experience with the site changed in the summer of 2016. It seems that they must have come under new management, and things have not been the same since. I made the mistake of posting a link to a book, which I didn't know was against the rules, and I was banned without warning. I apologized to the moderator and was allowed back, but then I made another mistake. I said that I'd like to recommend a book, but it was against the site's rules, and I wished they'd change the rules. And guess what? I was banned again.

I apologized once again and got back my credentials. I was very careful after that and made sure not to break any rules. But then, out of the blue, I was banned again. And why? For the comment I had previously been banned over months earlier! I was outraged and demanded an apology. Eventually, I got one from the moderator, but it came with a nasty reminder that I should have erased the earlier post. And if I didn't like their rules, I could take my business elsewhere.

Well, that's exactly what I'm going to do. It's a shame that the nasty people running this site now have ruined what was once a great resource. I've posted on dozens of other web sites over nearly 20 years and have never been banned. I'm not a problem person or a troll. I just wish that HealthBoards would go back to the way it used to be.

HealthBoards.com Healthboards.com: Not a Reliable Source for Health Information

So, I recently had an experience with Healthboards.com that left me feeling quite frustrated. I wanted to share some information about a health issue that I had experienced as a result of prolonged exposure to noise. I even had some peer-reviewed publications to back up my claims. However, as soon as I posted my information, I was immediately banned from the site.

When I asked why I had been banned, I was told that Healthboards.com is not a site for professionals. Now, I understand that I am not a health professional or researcher, but I wasn't pretending to be one either. I simply wanted to share some information that I thought might be helpful to others who were experiencing similar issues.

But apparently, that's not allowed on Healthboards.com. The admin told me that they don't want postings that look professional, even if they are backed up by solid research. So, if you're looking for help or information on Healthboards.com, be warned that you won't find any real or substantiated facts about health issues.

It's a shame, really, because I'm sure that many people out there are looking for valid information on health issues and are turning to Healthboards.com for help. But by blocking any real or substantiated facts about health issues, Healthboards.com is doing a disservice to its users.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Healthboards.com to anyone who is looking for reliable information on health issues. If you want to find solid advice and information, it's best to look elsewhere.

The statement "Healthboards.com: Not a Reliable Source for Health Information" suggests that Healthboards.com may not be a trustworthy or dependable source of health-related information. There are several reasons why this might be the case:

Lack of Expertise: Healthboards.com may not have medical professionals or experts moderating or contributing to the content. Reliable health information sources typically have experts who review and create content to ensure accuracy.

User-Generated Content: If Healthboards.com relies heavily on user-generated content, there's a risk of misinformation being spread. Users may not have the medical knowledge or qualifications to provide accurate information.

HealthBoards.com Unhelpful and Disappointing Moderation on Costo Health Board - Avoid This Website

This website is not very helpful for people who are looking for support and understanding. It seems like the moderators don't care about the users and just want to keep them on their website. It's really depressing. I wanted to create a blog to help people with anxiety and costo, which is a condition I have. I thought it would be a good distraction for people who are dealing with health issues and need to relax. So, I decided to advertise my blog on the costo health board. But, I was suspended without any warning! I didn't know that I couldn't post about my blog. I messaged the moderators to appeal my suspension, but I was shocked by their response. They were so rude to me! I wasn't being rude, but I was frustrated because I thought they would understand that I was trying to help people. But, they didn't care. They told me to use another site if I wanted to post about my blog. That's not fair! People should be allowed to seek support from different sources. I'm really offended and disgusted by the way they treated me. I only wanted to help people who are going through the same thing as me. Now, I can't even be there for someone who needs me. I would advise you to avoid this website and find somewhere nicer. The moderator is not a nice or understanding person. Why would you want someone like that reading your health issues? I certainly don't. If I could give this website 0 stars, I would.

HealthBoards.com I have no idea how to unsubscribe!

Horrible site and I have no idea how to unsubscribe!
When I signed up I had no idea what this site was about and must say that I did not find it helpful. So I decided to cancel my account. But for some reason I'm still receiving spam messages from Healthboards! I contacted their support service many times and told them that I was not happy and asked them to stop spamming my mail, but they did not reply.
Then I went to their site but wasn't able to find anything there. I want to know how can I unsubscribe! I deleted my account but it looks like that was not enough. What a joke.

HealthBoards.com Rigid enforcement of rules, rules designed to prioritize advertisers over users

During October, I posted regularly on Healthboards.com about my broken ankle and helped other users with their health problems. One user asked for recommendations of exercises that she could do while in a leg cast. I had found a particular Youtube video helpful when I had my leg cast. It showed a number of good exercises. The Youtube video was produced by a private individual as a public service, and did not promote any business. I also had no personal connection to the videomaker. However, when I posted a link to the video, it apparently violated a rule against posted links to "commercial websites". The rule is questionable, since there is so much valuable information that happens to be on commercial websites. The purpose of the rule seems to be to monopolize ad revenue from website users, rather than to help users in any way. It had not occurred to me that posting a useful link could be against the rules. My post resulted in the website moderator immediately banning me from the website for a week. When I protested by email, I was banned permanently. The website is not about helping users. It is about monopolizing ad revenue and giving its moderator a vehicle for power trips.

HealthBoards.com Their rules annoyed me

When I registered on the forum www.healthboards.com, I was so happy that I have found the website. I was excited and use the website very often, but couple of months ago everything has changed. They made the rules, where they wrote what each user couldn’t do on the website. As well as they sent a lot of warnings and other spam too often. It annoyed me too much and I stopped to use this website.

HealthBoards.com A lot of rude and unpleasant people are registered there

I was a member on the website www.healthboards.com. It was ok in the beginning, but now the forum became a place, where all people argue and didn’t listen to each other. I was so shocked, when I placed my question there and received bad reply from some other user. He told me a lot of unpleasant and used a lot of negative words, but he didn’t know me. Be careful on this website, and think twice before you register on the website.

HealthBoards.com They have very ambiguous rules that seem to randomly be applied against different sub groups

I had the same experience with this website, answered a question from another user and my account was locked out. Appears they don't want people sharing ideas or information about medical conditions. Not sure what their purpose is or what they hope to accomplish if people cannot share ideas or talk about their medical conditions. They have very ambiguous rules that seem to randomly be applied against different sub groups on the site and don't seem to apply to their senior members.

HealthBoards.com I WAS BANNED

I had recently helped myself with Acid Reflux, by using supplements. I used Pancreatin about 15 - 20 minutes prior to eating and it basically has helped tremendously with acid reflux. I also started taking Probiotics (Healthy bacteria) and take aloe vera soft gels and other supplements. I was banned almost immediately from their board. They don't allow that type of posting, yet they claim to be all about health. They only sell drugs for health. My Mom used all those Acid reflux drugs and she had to keep using them and they caused side effects. Drugs can help you in many instances, but almost everyone has an acid and indegestion issue, God I know this I work in the industry and this is one problem that can be solved in a healthy way.

Totally agree. My account was just suspended because I asked for information on alternative treatments for a friend diagnosed with cancer. I asked for these alternatives because the traditional allopathic treatments are ineffective and likely to cause serious side effects, and because even if the allopathic treatments do work, the benefits they would provide would be miniscule. I now understand HealthBoards.com to be a shill for Big Pharma.
