HDFC Bank loan paid still a/c on hold

I took a EPL (Personal loan) on HDFC bank A/c no.[protected]) with loan a/c no.([protected]) which was settled on 26/10/2010

with a amount of 21000 Cash Receipt no-([protected]) and settlement letter serial no. (94295)dated 25.10.2010.

but still after finishing this loan and settlement My Another A/c [protected])of HDFC Bank has been put on HOLD without intimating me about it with (21000 Rs).

I am a married guy with 2 dependents and left with no money, how shell i fulfill my commitments ?

I did called the hdfc customer care and they gave Me Reference No:-[protected] and grievance dept with TF388990067 .
but was told that this will be actioned in 7 days how will i live with a family without funds for these 7 days?

The person who settled my Loan on 25.10.2010 was Mr Tyagi -[protected] in front of his Manager Mr Shashi Sharma -[protected]
and they assured that no such problems would occur on my account further.

Still in My New HDFC A/c [protected]) is on hold.Which is really not acceptable and really big time frustrating and a worst feeling for the bank.

HDFC Bank hdfc bank - never ever take loan at hdfc cheating on foreclosure charges

Hi,

Lessons Learnt:

1. Never Ever again take personal loan/any loan at HDFC especially at Bangalore, Indrangar branch
2. Make sure that ever thing is written on paper i.e interest Waivers, fore closures, hidden charges, insurance stuff blah blah...
3. Don't get biased by the initial offer they will definitely change the interest etc by seeing your need of desperation for money.
4. Top Management @HDFC is very good at "Techincal Stuff(i.e paper work)" not bothered about the Customer crediability
5. HDFC Grivenace Redressal total waste of your valuable time and phone call charges. They will response with your same complaint framing with fancy words.
6. On the bottom, becareful while taking any loan at HDFC not only personal loan don't get biased by the Salary account formula.
7. HDFC staff is very aggroant thinking that HDFC is bank is Numero Uno in all stuff. Some time ICICI was also Numero Uno becareful word of mouth & Consumer complaints will did the magic.
8. Its very difficult to get hold of the guy related to Personal Loan Issues at HDFC
9. Within HDFC you will see that loan promotions offered at different, which is ethically wrong treating same customer differently at differnt branches, thinking that they ared doing business

I took a Personal loan of 6Lakhs at HDFC in 2008(Loan A/c: [protected]). While processing the loan HDFC representative promised me that he will get me interest rate of 13.5%, No processing fee and Fore closure charges of 2%. So I went with the processing on the outset though I had a good loan deal with AXIS, but since representative told me that I hold salary account with HDFC.

Surprisingly, while disbursing the loan representative told me that he could not promised waiver for processing fee and interest rate. Since I was urgently need of money and was not in position go with other bank I have forcefully accept the 14% interest rate and 2% processing fee. This is clearly creating trap for the customer.

At the same i asked for the forclosure charges of 4% for which he said 2% waiver by default they will give to all customers 4% is only paper. I thought this might be true.

For the same when I recently went to HDFC bank foreclose the bank loan, I really shocked by the response given by HDFC Indranagar branch, Bangalore. Santosh who told himself as Customer Service Manager was very rude atleast to listen. After some verbal argument I could get some other Creidt sales Manager mobile number i.e. Kiran Subbaiah To him I called numerous times he never lifted the phone.

That time I was thinking that for personal loans promotion they will call and pester you so many times but when you close they treat you like piece of junk.

So, after again 5 days I tried to reach Kiran fortunately thank god he lifted the phone and I explained the foreclosure charges wavier on the verbal agreement thinking that thing will smooth, but again got surprise answer "Technically" since 4% on paper I have pay 4%.

I got very upset i thought I explain when I met him personally so I can explain things clearly so I scheduled a meeting next day meeting.

In the meeting I met new person name Bala after explaining very everything to him, he said then why took loan at HDFC and he started defending Representative who processed the loan.

Out of all frustration, I contacted Regional Head namely Pradeep Venkatchalam he very nice person, explained me intricacies clearly though he was very urgent in leaving. He said will try to get waiver on my Personal loan. But unfornately, he could not get waiver since the department is not directly under him, so he could get the waiver from the Mumbai Team.

I don't know why HDFC appoints so irresponsible people like Bala, Santosh and Kiran at that position.

On the whole, I endup paying 4% interest as per so called "Technical Clause".

So people Never ever take Personal loan (or) damn loan at HDFC. They say something verbally can be done, at the end they will cheating you saying Technically it should be on paper.

Made me believe that i will be provided the loan with 19% pa interest rate and once after handing over the did i was informed that the interest rate is 34% pa.

Myself K.Vijaya Balaji director of Axe solutions as I am running my Company Current Account and Staffs salary account in your branch for the past 2 and half years still we did not get any personal loan approval from your side. We do have a preapproved loan eligibility of around 2 Lakhs for 4 to 5 employees but we did not get approval to avail our loan. Our Bank account details are given below,

Yes this is correct. Beware do not take personal loan from HDFC bank. They will cheat you. Before taking loan they will tell less rates, after taking loan the rates are all high. I have suffered with this before taking loan they said 0%foreclosure charges and whil closing they are saying 4%foreclosure charges. BEWARE OF HDFC BANK PERSONAL LOANS.

That’s not fair. I have taken a personal loan from citi bank their rates are quite nominal. I am satisfied with their service too. Next time when you take a loan make sure you go through all their conditions.

HDFC Bank credit card delivery issue

Hi,
This is e-mail is regarding my credit card issue. I have applied for HDFC credit card more then a month ago but stile it was under process as per HDFC customer care. Earlier these guys are saying that they lost my application and i need to fill it again and few days back they called me up and saying that my signature mismatching. I must say that HDFC customer care is too poor in providing service to there customers and when i tried to call there executive she is not picking up my phone so that's why i am contacting you to help me out in this issue. My (credit card REF NO. 11032519080270N1). Ii request you to look forward in this matter to resolve it.

HDFC Bank hdfc support & 'grievance redressal' failed to provide solution for 3 months

My netbanking was disabled in december and since then i am struggling to have it enabled.

1) i have been asked to send hand written application to the branch - done 3 times
2) then another representative PARAG AGARWAL came up with another process of filling eAGE form
3) Then 'Grievance Redressal' to follow NRI route.
4) Meanwhile PARAG AGARWAL suggested that htey are still working on my request.

It's been 3 months and i am still struggling...

There's some problem with my online banking (it says access disabled). This has happened first time in 12 years of association with HDFC Bank. I am on business visit to Glasgow and my hdfc debit card is in London therefore i cannot reset my online access using debit card

HDFC Bank extra 200 rs bill is received for renewal charges.

Hello,

I have taken a Credit card from HDFC on 14th Feb. 2011.over the call I was informed by tele executuive Pankaj Kulkarni that For Wipro BPO employee, there will not be any renewal Charges, they will have the Free Life time Usage of the card. The call was received from no.: [protected].
But the first bill I received on 8th March 2011, in which they have debited me 200 Rs as a Renewal charge.
Please take care of the above complaint & deduct the extra charges added in the Bill.

It is about hdfc bank’s cheating with me, hdfc has finance me for indica dls car but I get delivery of indicab car from wasan motors (chembur) I came to know about this fact when I received account statement on 17/04/2009 in which financed model is indica dls, I wrote a complain regarding same which was received by Jitendra Singh at andheri branch (i.e.hdfc bank ltd, 3rd floor trade star building opposite J.B.nagar andheri kurla road andheri –east Mumbai 400059.)

But I didn’t receive any reply. Then I wrote another complain it was received by varindar pal singh at andheri branch (i.e.hdfc bank ltd, 3rd floor trade star building opposite J.B.nagar andheri kurla road andheri –east Mumbai 400059.)

On 20/08/2009 but again I didn’t get any reply so I start contacting varindar pal singh on his mob: [protected] continuously, at last he fixed an meeting at andheri branch (i.e.hdfc bank ltd, 3rd floor trade star building opposite J.B.nagar andheri kurla road andheri –east Mumbai 400059.) on 31/10/2009 at 10am with wasan motors but no one attended that meeting from wasan motors, Mr.Dinesh dhemla and varindar pal singh attended that meeting from hdfc bank they ask and discussed each and every aspect of matter with me then they promised me for indica dls car’s delivery from wasan motors soon but till today there is no response.

I hope you will arrange concerned car’s delivery.

Dear Mr. Singh,

This is with reference to your email dated 22 February 2011 to our Managing Director and subsequent discussions with the Officials of our Auto Loans Division.

At the very outset, we deny your allegations against the Bank as false and mischievous. Our further advices in the matter will clarify the position to a better extent:

We confirm that the Auto Loan under account number 1101218 was extended for Tata Indica DLS and by accepting delivery of a different model, without prior permission of the Bank; you have committed a serious breach of the terms/ conditions of the loan agreement. To compound the matter further, you put the vehicle into use and wilfully defaulted in payment of the EMIs. Due to this continued default, the loan account has been classified as irregular and Bank's action for recovery of dues and filing of criminal complaint u/s 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act- 1881 is imminent- if not initiated already.

As per our records, the vehicle in question has been assigned registration number MH 04CE 1899 and is hypothecated to the Bank. By virtue of the hypothecation, Bank has a right to initiate undertake any legally permissible action for recovery of the outstanding amount of the loan.

You are free to refer the matter to the Dealer for proper clarification on the model of vehicle delivered by them. Our Bank's right of recovery and action against you is not diluted/ prejudiced in any way whatsoever by the stand taken by you. Neither is the Bank liable for the make/ model of vehicle and on the contrary, it is you who have committed a serious breach by accepting a different model of vehicle without even informing the Bank.

You are once again called upon to clear the dues immediately and without demur, failing which Bank will be left with no other option but to initiate action for recovery at your risk and costs, which please note.

HDFC Bank staff not responding to queries

Hi. This is to complaint against Ms. Foram Parekh. She sits in the Ghatkopar branch of HDFC Bank Mumbai. We have a Savings Max account with the bank and Foram Parekh is the point of contact for us. I had called her to enquire about why the Flexi FD option is not enabled for us and what needs to be done to get it enabled. She had said that she will call me back with the details in 2 days. It has been 5 days but I haven't heard back from her. I called her on 10th Mar, 2011. This is the second instance where we have to follow up with the staff and the staff is not atttending to the query or is not getting back to us. We had complained against her earlier also regarding the ULIP policy that we took from the bank upon her recommendation. This kind of irresponsible behavior from the bank staff is not acceptable. Due to Foram's carelessness, the Flexi FD option wasnt enabled for our account and we are suffering monetary loss because of this. Even after we had mentioned at the time of opening the account that we want to enable the Flexi FD option for our account, And now, she is not responding to our queries also. Please take the necessary action at the earliest.

HDFC Bank :nuisance calls from hdfc bank coolection department

Dear Sir/Madam,
It is to bring under your notice notice that, I am again harassed by HDFC Bank Credit card collections department.She(Miss Neha) called me for the Third Party Credit Card collection.She called on 10/3/2011 at my residence, my office No as well as on my
Mobile No:[protected]. I am getting nuisance calls from your collection dept on my mobile no.[protected] as well as on my land line also, on 10/3/2011, 4times I got a call from [protected], [protected] at 16.41pm on my land-line.After that twice I got on my Mobile one at 16.09pm & another at 15.46pm.At 5pm she called up on my office no also.Her name is Miss Neha.I don't understand that in-spite of making so many request why do I get these nuisance calls on my no?The person who called up on my no her name is Miss Neha is very arrogant & rude.
with me as well as with my family members.I asked her to tell from where she is calling, which branch she is calling but she is not ready to provide me any of her details but she is asking my personal details.She will hung up the call.This has become almost every 6months regular nuisance.As I have mentioned so many times to "The Head Of The HDFC Bank Quality Dept"In spite of my so many complaints I am never given assurance regarding these Nuisance calls.Now I have again started receiving these kind of calls.Though I have changed my no.
Just to inform here that neither I am having any account from HDFC Bank nor having any credit card then why am I being harassed by ICICI Bank so frequently can you pl.explain me?When ever I asked callers that, "from where did you get this no?They always reply that Mr.Suhas Joshi gave this no.So I just want to ask a question to HDFC Bank authority that did they ever confirm on this particular No:[protected], before giving the Credit card or loan that this No, [protected] belongs to Mr.Suhas Joshi?No never simply they gave credit card to that person Mr.Suhas Joshi without confirming any details.And now when Mr.Joshi is defaulter they are calling on my No:[protected] which never belonged to him.Now it's a height of my tolerance.So I request you pl.look in to this matter & do needful to my complain&see to it that there should not be any more calls from Miss Neha or any other people from collection agency.

HDFC Bank regarding issue of noc for my invalidated credit card of hdfc

dear sir/madam,
i dr deepak kumar was using your hdfc visa card [protected] during the year 2005 to 2007. as i am posted in force so i got tranfered to srinagar in the year 2007. due to bad situation in srinagar i was not able to use your card, due to which my card was invalidated. as i was not knowing the process of closure of card, i did not inquired about it. but, know i have to come to know that we must get a noc for the closure of card. so i request you to please issue me a NOC with infrmation to CIBIL regarding no dues on my card. i have yesterday and today also called your customer care executive regarding any outstanding on my card, they told me that there is no outsatnding on my card but they can not issue me NOC. but they have taken a request for hard copy.so they have provided me your email id to put up an early request regarding NOC.
As i require this as early as possible so i request you to please issue me a NOC as early as possible on my email id. for thids i will be very thankfull to you. looking forward to hear you soon.

HDFC Bank inflated statement from hdfc

The statement on my Hdfc credit card should have been Rs. 705/- payment to Reliance infocom on3/3/11 and Rs. 59/- towards Tata Docomo on 11/2/11. i.eRs. 764/- in total. But today in your sms you have mentioned that Rs.1159.29 is due which is wronbg. My credit caed no. is [protected] - My name is Leo Pereira and my mobile no is [protected]. The card expires on02/2013

HDFC Bank collection calls (mental harresement)

Today I had received a call from HDFC Credit Card (Mr Vikas and his Manager Saloni) Shanker Sheth Road Branch Pune, to make the payment of credit card which is due for only 1 month. The associate Mr Vikas and his Manager Saloni are mentally harassing me and my wife and using abusive and indecent language over the phone saying "credit card use karne keliye sharam nahi aati kya". I told them that I am unable to make the payment this month due to a medical emergency in my family.
Further, we made late payment of card last month due to which the same associate Mr. Vikas was threatening us saying he will come at my residence and create a havock.

I have been using the credit card since 2008 and have been making regular payments inspite of which I am been harrassed mentally without considering my payment history.

Please take appropriate action against the employees.

HDFC Bank rude behaviour of customer care representative

I am a max account holder of hdfc bank faridabad branch and was thinking to apply for a credit card since so many days. On feb 18th I got a call from the bank and the guy named akash from +[protected] gave me the details. As I was quite busy I asked him to call me next day. The very next day he called me saying that i'll have to pay an annual fee of rs 299. I refused the offer as standard chartered was giving me totally foc. Despite my again and again decline, he was irritating me again and again by asking me to talk to his officer and his colleague. At last he said they have to complete their targets for the month and its a minor amount for a credit card. By this time the tone of this person was very rude and he started abusing me. Being a max account holder I do not expect this kind of behaviour from the bank. I want an apology from the bank for such an indecent behaviour. My request to the bank would be to improve their hiring process as this is hampering bank's image.

HDFC Bank for not closing my credit card, & not responsponding properly

I want to say that my card no is [protected] now, I want to say that your department is constantly misleding me from last three months, regarding closure of my c/c . firstly they gave me a policy and change my payments into emi mode.and In turn I want to settle the whole amount. Now when I want a preclose of the same, these people not able to give me any address of your department to deal the same. If u people d’ont have any place to work for these complaint, how do u work on roads.
If this letter reaches up to any kind of ur bank authority please give me solution to tackle this situation. I m mentally very much disturbed with this, and not able to handle stress any more.please provide me following information
1. address of c/c department in delhi.
2. phone no of concern authority for closure and settlement of c/c
3. procedure to close and settle the c/c
4. how do the policy given to me forcefully be returned an refunded
5. how much amount I have to pay for settlement, in case when I had already pay around 2 lac rs on usage of mere 50 thousand
please do the needful

HDFC Bank cheque misplaced

This complaint is after several attempts from me to correct a problem which started since June 2010 due an error from your Sec 50 Noida branch. Your bank is one of the most respected and reputed in India but the experience I had with your branch doesn’t seem to match up with it. I sincerely hope that you are able to find a solution to my problem.
This account is under my maiden name Moni Gupta whereas my name after marriage is Moni Prasad. A Bank Cheque (Cheque No 336418) for the amount Rs 15, 027 from EPF office Delhi under the name Moni Prasad was sent to your HDFC bank branch in Sector 50 Noida. Subsequently I received a call from your branch on June 24, 2010 that this cheque could not by deposited to my account as the name did not match. I was told that the cheque has been allegedly returned to the PF Office in Wazirpur from where it had come originally.
I am a working woman and work in Delhi and it is not possible for me to go to your Noida branch all the time. I took the word of the person I spoke to you in your branch to be true and was under the impression that the cheque has been sent to the PF Office. This was my biggest mistake. On October 5, 2010, I again submitted a fresh PF FORM 19. Later on December 12, 2010, I received a letter from the PF Office stating that they never received the cheque back from your branch. I immediately contacted your branch and spoke to customer care representative Ms Kavita Sharma on several occasions who repeatedly gave me assurance that she will get the details and finally told me after almost a month that the cheque has been misplaced by the Courier Company.
Completely frustrated by now, I decided to personally meet with your Branch Manager and went to your branch on January 4, 2011. Here was not allowed to meet your Branch Manager and was told by one of your branch official Mr. Surinder Mari that he was not in and assured me again that he will personally follow up in my case and resolve it.
Again after several calls to Mr. Mari I was finally sent a Proof of Delivery (POD) that the cheque was allegedly delivered to the PF Office. Please find attached the copy of the alleged POD sent to me by Mr. Mari. This POD furnished by Mr Mari does not seem to belong to me since it does not have my Name nor does it give any date information and is not visible. Obviously this cannot be submitted as a Proof to the PF Office. Again I complained to Mr. Mari about this and he again assured me that he will speak to the Courier Company to furnish better proof. I haven’t heard back from him yet.
I think the cheque was lost or misplaced by your branch since the PF office never received it back and Mr. Mari is trying to cover up this mistake by furnishing a false POD which I am sure is not mine.
Now I am stuck in this situation because not only am I unable to get the money which belongs to me but also I have had to visit PF office several times causing me a great deal of inconvenience; all just because of mistakes and false promises from your inefficient and unprofessional branch employees and Officials.
I would request your help to get me out of this situation by -
• Locating my Cheque (Cheque No 336418) as it did not reach the PF Office or
• By providing me a valid and legible proof of delivery of my cheque which should clearly mention my name, Cheque No and Date which was allegedly sent to the PF office so that I can submit it to the PF Office and request a duplicate cheque.
I would really appreciate your help in this regard to get me out of this situation.

HDFC Bank sales person offers lifetime free card but cheated.

I am Shibu I got an HDFC Platinum Credit card recently since the sales person assured that I will get a lifetime free credit card and there by no annual fee.But when I received the card I just called customer care and they mentioned that this card is not lifetime free card and there will be an annual fee of Rs 400 for this card.I am going to cancel this card now.HDFC guys are cheating other please never apply for HDFC credit card.

HDFC Bank process abuses in loan application processing

Dear Sir,

My self Ajay Panicker, Managing Director of M/s Mecit Infotech Pvt Ltd. I have applied for LAP/ Business Loan to HDFC bank through your branch in Cheppad, Alappuzha district, Kerala where one Mr. Ramachandran (Mobile [protected]) is the branch Manager and One Mr. Sajulan (Mob : [protected] and [protected]) has collected complete documents and filled application on 7th Decemebr 2010 but till now I did not hear any confirmed/ definite feedback from them. Hence Today (22nd January 2011) have asked to stop their process and return the document.

HDFC Bank fear of fraud

I got some calls from HDFC Bank Credit Card Partner Finmatrix Solutions (Delhi/ NCR) for Credit Card. Sales Executive Shelly sent some person to collect my documents on 12 Nov 2010. Even After 1 Month, there was no response regarding the same. They have sent no written confirmation about the status of issuing my credit card. I fear they have misused or even may have got some fake card and I may be left with a bill of Thousands of Rupees. Somebody please help !
Calling the phone numbers is also useless. I gave them 5-6 calls, today they are saying my file is rejected because Landline of my company is out of work! How ridiculuous... if Landline is not working then there are too many ways to find the integrity of the customer may be writing email to company address, checking the company website, physical verification blah blah blah... why just stick to the land line number !
I think this is just some wrong doings of people in the HDFC Bank Credit Card Deptt. and the outsourced ageny Finmatrix that they are making fool of pepople by collecting the documents of general public and MIS-USE them.

Booked the Indigo flight tickets as per the 10% discount offer using the HDFC credit card and the coupon code. but as per the statement no deduction of discount found. and when enquire about the same in HDFC customer care and the Indigo, they don't have the reasonable answer to it.. So we think this is some kind of fraud.

HDFC Bank against custmor care response

Recently I got new credit card but after few days some illegal transactions had been occurred from my credit card threw internet on the behalf of that I have filled the changes dispute form and email to HDFC ‘custmorservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com’

After filling form a id is generated that is “HBL [protected]

I had called several times in customer care first they told me that they got the form and send to HDFC verification department. But later their statement being changed and they told me that they don’t get any thing from my side

Later they suggest me for sending the hard copy.

Now I have submit the hard copy and fax and email to them but I don’t get any positive response yet.

I don't know how to do it.

HDFC Bank no clarity on f&f settlement & lta claim

Dear All,
I joined e-cbop Bank Ltd. on 17/08/06 as Territory Sales Incharge and then later on i was promoted to Customer Relationship Officer on May 24, 2007 & later on there was merger with HDFC BANK LTD. in May 2008 i was promoted to Acquisation Manager and i Resigned on Feb. 2, 2010, but till date i dont have clarification of my F&F settlement amount and also i have not received any LTA claim, and there is no proper reply from related authorities after repeated mails sent to them from my sides.
Kindly do the needful for the said purpose.
