HC Processing Center HC Credit now VIVE credit

They are the worse! I pay a double payment nearly every month, two months I skipped a payment because I had made a double payment. They told me you can't pay ahead! I have to pay by 12:00 PM EST I am PST on the day my payment is due to NOT incur a late charge. If I pay a double payment the day after it goes towards the prior payment and NONE to current month. These people are scammers their interest rate and late fees are exorbitant.
The Sleep number bed I purchased for $1, 650 I will have paid over 4K for. It still stinks even three years later. I had no idea the ENTIRE frame was made from molded plastic! It's gross and I have no way of getting rid of it other than taking it to the landfill :(. HC Credit/VIVE have no customer service skills at all. They don't understand basic accounting. They call and call, even though I have made my payment! I have blocked their calls, and told them to NEVER call me again, and still they call or text.

Desired outcome: For no one else to fall into their trap

HC Processing Center Has an account listed on my credit as a charge off

Went to LightRX in 2017 for body contouring. I paid $430 for all services received during this time period. Stopped going to LightRx after I had an incident with treatment (burned 2x's). The company went bankrupt in 2019 and all businesses in Ohio where closed. LightRx opened a line of credit with HC Processing without my knowledge. I am trying to get this issue resolved so it can be removed from my credit. I have reached out
the HC Processing to get this matter resolved. I have asked for documentation or some type of proof that I owe this dept. I have requested
information from LightRx as well. Both companies have denied having any proof of documentation. I have filed disputes with the 3 credit bureaus, the BBB of Detroit & Eastern District of Michigan, Bankruptcy Court of Eastern District of Michigan, as well as The BMC Group. I would like for this matter to be resolved with proof of documentation that I owe this debt. I would also like for this to be removed from my credit.

HC Processing Center Never trust them

WORST costumer service I have ever felt with! They are very miss leading, They reported to the credit bureau that I had a late payment when I have paid every month and have the statements to prove it. When I asked to have it removed they told me my minimum payment had been increased and did not notify me of this causing my account to be overdue by 30$ for 30days, resulting in a 67 point decline in my credit score! I do not recommend this company to anyone

HC Processing Center Treadmill

Approximately four months ago I applied for credit with the above mentioned company for the purpose of purchasing a treadmill from Bowflex. I canceled the order thus never receiving said treadmill. Nevertheless, TheHelpcard believed that I still owed them money despite having never received the treadmill. I was advised to call Bowflex to seek a refund. Bowflex provided TheHelpCard with a full refund but it took about 2 months. Mean while the TheHelpCard charged me for late fees and a 39.00 annaual fee! Additionally they marked my credit as being 3 months late on payments!

HC Processing Center credit for sleep number beds

I was provided credit for this company in 2015. The rates started 6 months after my purchase. I was employed. I became partially employed in late 2016. I explained this to them, and they only offered me 3 months at $25 each. The rates were below 29.99% at first. It was 23.99%... now with the increase, plus, the $40/month, and earning lower wages for 2016-18, my balance has been at 900 plus for at 2 yrs or more. They won't waive lates fees, they don't stop interest on their so called hardship program, they increased their interest rate without notification and they Robo-Call at least 12 hours a day from different numbers all over the United States! It's freaking ridiculous and annoying! Definitely Loan Shark mentality. I'm so glad my Cell phone is not allowed at this new job I have!

HC Processing Center interest rates and annual fee

In reading the complaints I too was deceived by this credit company. My application was processed on line by the merchant and did not outline all the terms. I have been charged an annual fee of $59 on top of the loan shark interest rates. This company and the companies that use them are deceptive and crooks. I called and asked for a refund and to close my account they would not and informed me that even if the account is closed and I have a balance they will continue to charge the annual fee.

HC Processing Center extra charges for no reason/ shady business

Hc complaint

As everyone on this site, i'm having problems with the guys from hc processing center.
My story starts when deciding to have some laser treatments done with a company in vegas. The laser company's working apparently with hc processing center so that's where I received the loan from.
As a start, this company did a hard check when I was let know that until I was to decide if I want to do the treatment or not it will be a soft check on my credit.
I decided because of the hard check (since they did anyway without letting me know I will go ahead with this company. They offered 1 year no interest, if i'm paying $69/month minimum and after that 30, 74% apr.
The whole amount to be borrowed was approximately $2000. After paying for the year around $1600 I was left to pay $399.
Since from this january first the apr was to be applied that means an additional charge of $12.27 representing the 30.74% of the apr for the $399 amount. So add this $12.27 to the remaining amount of $399 would result in a total amount of $411.27.
So this letter received in january 2019 is telling me I have to pay a total new amount of $874.87. That means $463.6 above what I was supposed to pay. As per their explanation, this would include an additional charge of $416 in which an amount of $398 is for "deferred interest charge assessed on purchase" and an "annual fee" of $59 plus an "interest charge on purchases" for $18.11
So the question here now is:
- why I have to pay $59 annual fee if this is not an actual credit card?
- how can I have "deferred interest charge" when I never had a late payment and all the payment where above the minimum payment (some months $100, $150, $200 and even $300 instead of the $69 minimum) all of these of course provable by debit card statements.
- how can the statement be changed that if in december I was left to pay $699, their statement pointing that if I would have paid just the minimum payment of $69, in 13 months I would end up paying $819 total amount. I made a payment of $300 for january and the next letter is stating now if I would pay only the minimum payment in 16 months I would end up paying a total of $1071.
As a meaning of closing my plead.
I came in here from eastern europe.
We eat this type of s$&it in there daily from mobster companies that are not accredited and are not under any laws, citizens being obligated to use their services.
I came in here because of the poor services and way of life in my home country and us of a always teach me in 9 years since i'm in here to be fair and to respect its laws and expecting to be treat with fairness.
Judging by this company's actions i'm not feeling these is something happening inside the great us.
These is something shady that even the nigerian scammers can actually learn from, nevermind my home country.
I don't want to not be paying for the goods i'm buying and the services i'm using as i'm always fair, but I don't want be ripped off for the $457.76 that i'm earning through fair hard work.

HC Processing Center overcharged interest and deceptive agreements

Initially when I did my application for the credit line, when terms and conditions were read to me, it was not stated as 12months deferred interest, it was stated as 12 months interest free. So when I looked at my account today, 12/4/2018-- I was wondering why my balance was still high. I DONT feel I should be held responsible for interest that was not explained to me in the beginning. This is not information that should be told to me now, months after I received the credit line. It is not my fault that I was given incorrect information by the reps in the process of getting this credit line. I feel that the extra interest of $557, should be removed from my balance and I should only be responsible for what balance was left at the end of the promotion. I am a veteran who is on a fixed income, who has been done wrongly and I am asking that this extra interest be removed from my balance

Hi I'm very sad because I saw in credit report from 4/19/18 a late payment and I don't have any payment with you guys please you guys need to fix this I'm buying a house and this affect me, pls if you can call me at [protected] or ana.r.[protected]@ gmail.com . HC Processing Center laseraway in mountain view, ca

I financed a package from laser away thru hc processing. At first la was very attentive and promised me additional complimentary treatments and that i'd be able to get follow up appts. I ended up using half the package because I was unable to get follow up appts. I called hc processimg to complain that I was unable to get appts and was told they can't help me and to contact la customer service. I did that and after about 3 months of phone tag I was finally discounted $600 and the total package I finaced was $2200. I paid the principal off recently and I was still charged the $500 finance charge. Which I feel is way too much since I wasn't able to use the full package. Hc processing is saying they will not discount the finance charge and now they are calling me everyday. It seems like all they care about is the finance charge, not that I wasn't able to use what I had finaced in the first place. Hc processing has terrible customer service reps and rip people off!

HC Processing Center usery!

8/16/2017 - interest rate applied is 29.5%! Late fees applied on the date payment is due and company representatives are rude and refuse to allow you to speak to someone in a position to provide an explanation for the charges. Balance went from $2, 900.00 to $3, 400.00 overnight because they claim date of deferred interest had passed. It has not! This company needs to be investigated.

HC Processing Center using rudeness and heavy handedness to get payment to senior on s.s.

I have tried and tried to talk to them on the phone to get them from taking automatic payments out of my checking account. I can not keep paying them since I am on a fixed income and my bank account situation has been a mess. They are rude won't listen. And even threaten. I would say they are the biggest scammers around and like to pick onb83 yr. Old disable senior

HC Processing Center sleep number beds/ 1 of the beds is faulty

I purchased 2 xl california king sleep number twin beds in october 2012, began having trouble with my side from almost day 1, informed sleep number that I am blind and have been since I was 16 years old.
Sleep number never disclosed to me any information as to who I would be financing the beds thru, they led me to believe that I was approved thru them and the terms and conditions were never verbally disclosed other than I was told that I was approved with 0% interest for 12 months. I never knew until the first statement arrived I had no clue who hc processing was and not once did hc processing contact me to disclose any terms or conditions which I recently found out that they were charging 28.99% apr.
I did get sleep number to temporarily fix the leak in the bed shortly after it was purchased but it goes flat like a raft every day and has for years. I feel at this point I should be due a sizable refund because I began this battle with refusing to pay the debt in writing on january 4, 2016, hc processing never responded, I turned around and resent the letter via certified mail showing that they had to sign for it. They received and signed on january 28, 2016 and after no response I filed a complaint with the ncdoj and at that point they responded and began debt collections against me knowing I have faulty merchandise.
I have been billing them for my time and efforts to fight this battle. I began with sending them copies of letters proving that I am legally disabled and have been since I was 16, I also sent copies of my poa because my wife, karen has poa of me and my financial situation. I have filed complaints with every division in the united states possible and the bank continues to come up with more excuses and more lies. They are trying to ruin my credit and they also have offered no help and refuse to offer no help. I filed a dispute with sleep number but their response in a few words was go fly a kite, they had already told me not to contact them in the future for any reason, hc began by threatening to ruin my credit, the next trick they called here on a couple of occasions asking for me and when my wife informed them that I was not available they tried using the trick that they had a really interesting offer for me and needed to speak with me, the next trick they threatened my wife and told her that if I knew what was good for me I would pay the debt and not skip it, my wife nicely told them that we were in the talks with getting legal help and then she was once again threatened that if we got any legal assistance at all their lawyers would eat us alive and take everything we owned, then the next trick they continued in telephone conversations to say that there was never any poa on file and they could not speak with my wife, they also told her and me that I physically signed a credit application. They still have not acknowledged my disability and now today I receive a response from them saying that I applied credit with them and knowingly consented verbally to terms and conditions, that the poa was mistaken for a medical poa and that was the confusion on their part. I never spoke to hc processing period until this battle begin and I was not given a choice about my financing options, still they do not acknowledge nor do they want to acknowledge I am blind and have to have somebody read everything to me, but before my wife gets involved I can speak to them and not one person has offered to call with apologies or assistance. I have been billing them and feel that they should have make a settlement with me for liabilities, trying to ruin my credit, threats, making no acknowledgement's of documentation and ignoring my complaints, I also feel a settlement should be made for punitive damages and being disgraced because I am blind they continue to use that to their advantage. The bill that last was sent to them was in the ballpark of $11, 000.00 but since they are continuing their unethical practices and tricks I don't think that will begin to cover it. I am requesting a refund for 100, 000.00 that will cover it and I will send them a bill for this amount.
If you need documentation I will have to fax it or mail it, too thick to email

HC Processing Center dishonest

I wish I had a nickle for every time I have tried to set up an automatic payment with this company. The website never lets me get in, and on the rare occasion that I do, it doesn't accept my username or password. I have even called numerous times to have them set up the auto-pay and it never happens, despite their assurance that they will take care of it. This company is dishonest and deceptive. Don't do business with them.

They are rude to me, too. The website won't let me log in. But I get emails, telling me to log into my account to see my statement. I am so fed up with this company. It says that my account is locked and to call in. Yea, right. Call in and be talked to like, you said, you're incompetent.

I am being charged $350 because of a payment in full that posted minutes after their cutoff time, which I was not aware of. They claimed they have sent me statements to my email, and I have never received any of them. They are very unwilling to work with me or help me in any way. I spoke with two different customer service reps who acted like I was incompetent for not knowing their 5 pm policy. Their customer service is unwilling to help with anything. I feel that I was unfairly charged for being minutes late.
Horrible company, and I would never recommend anyone to do business with them

HC Processing Center fruad of interest

On october 2011, I accepted a loan through hc processing center of dallas tx. This loan was for 18 months of interest free, thereafter the interest was to be for the remaining balance of the loan. So today I called to pay this loan off as my statement shows "new balance" which was what I was going to send in... But they told me my balance was that plus another 2035.28 for interest. This threw me for a loop. I ask them to expain what they were talking about... My statement says "new balance of 2, 265.07 so that is what I was trying to pay in full. But they wanted the additional 2035.28 for interest back dated for the intire term of the loan. This is not how they explained it to me when I accepted the loan with their company. I have submitted a claim to better busines bureu of akansas and filed a complaint with the attorney general's office in dallas tx. If these complaints do not help then I will seek futher assistance with an attorney. It is a shame and disgrace to our united states, that this company (hc processing center of dallas tx) is allowed to decieve and fraud our citizens. I hope that my complaints will be considered and honest and just will be done.

I have the same issue. I used them for some medical work and it was a 18 month free interest, but I've been paying them for over a year now and always pay more than the payment amount and still owe them as much as I borrowed. I think these crooks should be put out of business, prosecuted and made to pay over charged money back to the clients they rip off.

I have to say that I purchase a craftmatic bed at $2, 788.78 and paid $1, 962.79 dollars and they say that I owe $2, 828.00, I need to know why do owe so much? I feel that this is a big rip off and this needs to be stop.

HC Processing Center harrassment/identity theft

I briefly attending fitness training (3 sessions with daniel santry) with a one world fitness in washington, dc. One world fitness opened a finance of $10, 060 in my name without my knowledge with a bullen wellness (a chiropractor). I never saw a bullen wellness. I saw a man name karim steward (the one who opened this account), and did not obtain any of my medical information and if they did, they did so without my permission by using my signature to join the gym. Now I am being harassed on a daily basis by hc processing, even calling me on my job and the account was just due on april 1, 2013. I am seeking legal consultation because of this matter, but I want hc processing to stop harassing me and for this account to be dismissed because I have no returned to this place (one world fitness) so to have a fake medical account in my name for that ridiculous and fraudulent amount is really putting stress on me. Karim steward is a con artist and he should have an investigation placed on him. I sent not only a certified letter to mr. Steward to close this account but also have proof in text messages asking him to do so and he never closed the account and made $10, 060.

HC Processing Center poor collection practices against a disabled person

9/11/12
Patty, from hc processing center, called me at 7:28pm. She asked me why I could not make the payment (it was due on 9/8/12 - 3 days late). I advised I had been in a car accident and now on long term disability. At some point during the conversation she laughed at me. When I asked for a supervisor she said no, but one could call me back. Then she hung up.

I called back at 7:31pm and spoke with lela. I asked with for a supervisor and she transfered me to diana. I explained everything to diana and advised i've been in call center management for 25 years, including collections. I said customers should not be treated this way. She said since i've been in collections before, I should know that it's different than customer service. I advised its not. Customer service is customer service. She said she would listen to the call and call me back. She called back at 7:48pm to tell me that she cannot listen to the call until the agent signs off the phone in about an hour. She called back at 8:42 and said she listened to the call. She apologized and said patty was wrong. I told her I have closed my account and made a bbb complaint. She told me she was noting my account. She did not try to save me as a customer. 

7:52pm I called to cancel account. I spoke with shannon. Shannon gladly cancelled account. She did not ask me why I was cancelling nor did she attempt to keep me as a customer.

This has got to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have had.
I can't believe patty told me that if I was on disability I should not have applied for the card. Are disabled people not allowed to apply for a credit card? I was buying a bed to help me sleep due to two back surgeries. I needed the support for my neck and back. Isn't this discrimination against disabled people?

HC Processing Center interest and late fees

28.8 % interest and late fees when one tries to pay off debt. If you value your well being do not do any type of business with hc processing. Craftmatic beds arranges loans through hc processing and when they are ask the interest rate the answer is always the same, they do not really know. The fact is they do know, and you do not find out until it istoo late.

HC Processing Center contract

I purchased a hearing aid for $2145.00 on 3/8/10. I applied for and received an "18 month same as cash" credit line from them. The contract was set up smoothly. In a letter from them dated 3/8/11, it was shown that the "promotion end date" was 9/9/2011. My first payment to them was $125.00 on 4/26/10. I then set up an EFT agreement with them allowing me to set the payment date as late as the 26th of each month. I selected this date. I divided $2145 by 18 and got 17 payments of $125 and the 18th payment of $20. Once this plan was in effect, I did not think much about it anymore. The 18th payment of $20 was taken out on 9/26/11 with my account then showing a zero balance. Then on 10/26/11, I saw a new EFT of $125 taken by them. Looking the account up online, I saw they were now charging me for the total deferred interest of $451.35. When I called them, I was told I had not finished making the payments by 9/9/11 and was in noncompliance. I said I do have the original paperwork showing that date but I had set up the EFT with their approval and then forgot about it. I feel that since my payments were made in the 18 months, with only $20 left in the last month, I am being taken advantage of by them. Indeed the last payment of $20 was made 17 days after the "promotion end" date but it was due to the EFT payment date and not by some failure on my part to send the payment. I should be given consideration for fulfilling my end of the contract. I spoke with a "Clarissa" (customer service) on 10/27/11 about this. She was not sympathetic or helpful one bit. She immediately started quoting an obvious script they use in these cases. She emphasized "...this was not a fault by us...", and "...we sent you a letter on 3/8/10 clearly stating in the second paragraph..." and several other totally canned responses. What got my attention the quickest was when she specifically said, "Sir, we deal with calls like this every day on this same subject." That sent up a lot of red flags for me. I asked to speak with her supervisor. When he (Paul) called me back an hour or so later, I could tell immediately he was using the same script as she and he was not going to be reasonable one bit. He quoted the same things she did and was not going to do anything to help me. I told him what she had said about the "daily calls" and said that at worst they were running a scam. He jumped to a higher level with denials and it was still obvious he was reading from a canned script. When I mentioned that I would speak with an attorney about this, his only response was, "...be sure to show him all of the paperwork we have sent you..." I said that even though their operation might be legal, they were working in a definite gray area and the light of day needs to be shone on them and their scheme. I told him if they are not a scam, they at least have a poor business model. When I set up the EFT, someone on their end should have at least warned me not to make the payment date later in the month than the "promotion end" date. I paid only $20 remaining on my contract, just 17 days past the "end" date, in the 18th month and was determined to be in noncompliance by them. That is not right. My purchase was a hearing aid. That makes me think a large number of the "daily calls" come from seniors. I am 59, so if I'm not considered a senior, I don't miss it by much. This company does not act in good faith and something needs to be done about it.
