We booked reservation online for 1 night stay @ Super-8 in Marysville, MI. The online cost was 156.00. When we checked out, we were charged 105.30 (the actual room rate). When checking my online banking, I saw charges for both. How can HBC charge 50.00 EXTRA for a room that costs 105.00? RIDICULOUS! I did not see anything online that said we would be charged 50% above the actual cost of the room. This is deceptive and seemingly unlawful.

Booked room on internet for $35.99 plus $4.66 tax.
Bill came through on my MC charge card for $44.99 plus 13.36 tax and fees.
Called HBC and was told they could not credit me the difference. Said that the hotel manager put the wrong rate down on our bill when we checked out.

I have a charge of $18.00 on my credit card statement and have no clue as to what it is for. I have made no trips or have I spoken with anyone to reserve a room for me.
We recently tried to book a hotel for November and mistakenly booked it for the current day that we were doing the search. When we discovered this HBC said that they could do nothing about it and we would have to call the hotel itself. Later we found a charge of $15.24 to HBC. When we called and questioned this charge, they said that it was a transaction fee and was non-refundable. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would classify their business as deceptive at least and criminal at worst.

Someone is using my husbands debit card in Texas thru your company. from 4/24/2018 thru 5/3/2018 . A whole month of charges to a hotel. We have never been to Texas, and live in Ohio. The card has been cancelled and we want our money back.
I made a reservation via internet "HBC hotel reseveration " on Dec 9, 2009, then one minutes later, I canceled the reservation. Until today Oct 9, 2010, they still do not give me any dollar to my credit card back! my number is [protected] .
I have recently experienced a similar issue with HBC. The rate of the room charged by HBC was higher than the rate offered from the hotel directly. I have alerted the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, WV of the practices of HBC.

If you prepaid through HBC then the hotel wasnt supposed to charge you also. That is the amount that they charge the website. It was just charged to you by mistake. The amount the hotel charges the website is lower then what you paid because this is how they make their money. This is not a non profit organization
