Hawk Moving Services / Damaged my furniture and refused to pay for it.
I had used this company a couple of times with no problems. The third time I had used them, the movers broke a leg on a table while taking the table out to the moving van . I discovered this when they unloaded the furniture. The movers apparently thought I would not notice the broken leg as they did not inform me of this. I called Hawk Moving Services and told them I would like to be reimbursed for the broken furniture. The owner, Casey, just laughed and said he was not going to do anything about it. I told him I had used them before and cannot understand why he would treat a loyal customer like myself this way. He just said "too bad, we are not going to pay for it". I could not believe his attitude - him laughing about the fact they had damaged my furniture. They have numerous addresses listed so I am not really sure where they are currently located. There is another address at 1201 Blackhawk Drive in Grand Prairie and then a different address is listed on their website that is in Keller.
I did a Google search on "Hawk Moving Services Dallas" and found that Channel 5 News in Fort Worth had done a story on moving services that have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau and Hawk Moving Services is listed as being one of them. You can do the Google search for yourself and look for the article or type in the below link:
Hopefully others needing a moving company will see this and steer clear of Hawk Moving Services.
