Harbor Freight Tools slap disk for 99 cents

I have been to the Hagerstown md store 2 times since july4th tobuy the slap disk that's on sale and both times empty shelf! I went to front and asked and the cashier called mgmt and I was told truck didn't come in. Now come on that's hard to believe all that tome from 4th till today the 17th of July no truck? I have been shopping here since it opened but no more! If you can't keep products to even buy I'm super upset because I drive 40 mins one way to shop here

Harbor Freight Tools false advertisement

I used to love harbor freight. Bought some tools (albeit cheap), bought a trailer, got some free items. I was a good customer. These 25% coupons would bring me into the store. We drove out of our way to buy a shade tent for the beach. They turned down my coupon. I believe it's a false advertisement. There are 10 types of items and 18 different brands that you can't use this coupon on. Shame on harbor freight!

They seem to exclude almost everything of value and give coupons on all their junk. This has not always been the case. Harbor freight realized that almost everything is made in china anyway so they just told all of their loyal customers to go to hell and raised all their prices and got rid of all the coupons. It's false advertisement that the coupon stated it didn't work on that brand yet you still expected it to work? False advertisement is falsely advertising something... Which they are not... They list the exclusions...

Harbor Freight Tools harrassed for trying to return $10 dollars worth of tools.

Had $10 dollars worth of tools to return with the receipt. Karen the sales clerk, and Dee or Dena harassed me and embarrassed me in front of customers. My blood pressure was not good. They really upset me in front of the customers. They disrespected me and harassed me. "Why are you returning these tools, did you use them, the package is damaged, I can't resale this stuff. On and On and On. Why are you returning these tools, what did you use them for. My God, give me a break.

Harbor Freight Tools oscillating power tool

Purchased tool I needed to cut out sheet rock. Receipt was sent via email. Used it once and turned it off. Went to turn back on and it wouldn't start. Went to store in Ithaca and was asked for receipt. Looked on emails and couldn't find it in my phone. Asked the cashier to look on her computer, which she did, and said she said she couldn't find it. She couldn't do exchange or refund without the receipt. Also said that the store computers only keep the receipts for 30 days but we have 90 days to exchange or refund. What the hell? 90 day policy is a joke if your receipts are sent email! Because of this, I will never purchase anything from Harbor freight again.

Harbor Freight Tools employee accused me of being a thief

I went to the Knoxville TN Kingston Pike stor to purchase a impact wrench which was not on the shelf. I requested an employee which retrieved one from the store room. When he returned he stated he would have to leave it with the cashier. Not a problem but he went on to state we are close to the door and I dont want t you to take off with it. I have been a long time customer and a retired police officer with 43 years service. I dont appreicate being accused of being a thief. Store policy is fine but dont go further to insult customers and accuse them of being a thief. The manager even went so far as to say all customers are thieves is why she told her employees to leave tools at register.
If everyone is a thief I will no longer shop at Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight Tools store manager of bluefield west virginia store

I Went to the store #00782 to do a return on a generator. Cashier was waiting on change, she had to wait on store manager for over 5 mins to bring change. Store manager ignored the long line (at least 7 people including my return). Went back to her office, never called for register assistance, never helped cashier and was extremely rude. I am a 20+ year manager for a retail store and this type of service will cause Harbor Freight to loose customers. For a store manager (i asked the cashier who she was) she does not set a good example for her employees and cares nothing about her customers.

I bought a drill / driver a while back and just gave it to my husband as a gift it has never been used we plugged it in to charge it and it wont charge as I said its never been used nor even out of the box ? I went to the store they said they don't carry this drill any more a told me to call the 1-800 # I did they said they cant help me because I don't have my receipt ? as I said I bought it a while back I do this often at harbor freight I like to shop here I stop by from time to time and by gifts for my family members because they love the tools unfortunately I didn't keep this receipt or cant find it I have never had any problems with anything I have bought from your store I don't want cash back I would just like to give him a working tool

Harbor Freight Tools unfair employee treatment

I am an employee at Store 350, Douglasville Georgia, and I have noticed unfair treatment. I smoke, and I wait for my scheduled breaks to smoke a cigarette, however, our scheduled breaks aren't happening. Our store is scheduled to take a 15 minute break at 10PM, or after a truck is completely unloaded, whichever happens after. All of the supervisors and the Logistics Manager dips tobacco rather than smoke. I have noticed that instead of giving these breaks, the Supervisors and Manager will skill them. When I ask about the break, I get told, "Well, you should start dipping." No tobacco use is allowed in the store, however they enjoy their tobacco, have their nasty spit bottles everywhere, and I'm stuck cleaning up their spills and loose tobacco on the floors and water fountains... Tobacco users should have to wait until their scheduled breaks to use tobacco, regardless if it is smokeless or not.

Harbor Freight Tools mail order department of harbor freight tools and products

I ordered two items via the web from Harbor Freight Tools, and the company proceeded to send only one of the items and charged me for both of them. They noted the item not sent was not allowed to be shipped, but I was still charged for the product. The other problem is that the other product was not as described on the web page, and it is so cheaply made that I can't even see the markings on the part so I can use the correct one. The tool I did receive is called a Carbon Steel SAE Tap/Die tool #62831. I will never order anything on the web from this company again. Oh yes, they are going to charge me a 20 percent restocking fee if I return the tool because I opened the package to find out it was a piece of crap. Finally, I just can't return the tool because I have to ask permission to return the tool I did receive. And, Finally, The product I never received but was charged, it is #92581.

Harbor Freight Tools register lines

I think it's ridiculous that Harbor Freight offers all these "FREE ITEMS" then in the fine print tell you one free item per transaction...then they allow people to hold up the line DOING MULTIPLE LOW DOLLAR TRANSACTIONS TO GET ALL OF THEIR FREE ITEMS! I want to buy my stuff and get on my way- a 6 foot wide tarp or little flash light is cute but tell them to get to the end of the line for their next transaction. Last Sunday I stood in line almost 25 minutes because 3 of the 4 people in front of me did four or five transactions each to get their free stuff. Maybe they should dedicate one register to those people that are only there for the freebies

Unfortunately that is the nature of retail and deals such as these. Customers will abuse the sales and the employees aren't really permitted to do anything. Your complaint is moreso with the customers than with the store.

Harbor Freight Tools manager

I have a manager at Harbor Freight Tools in Kokomo Indiana. The manager's name is James Craig. He is abusing his power to me and others. He was yelling at the cashier beside me who's trying to help me login and the manager James yelled at her for trying to help me saying that he would train me. He also makes me feel like an [censor] in front of customers because he has to help me. He also announced over the walkie talkies that he hates people because he had to help me. This is very poor management. I feel intimidated when I work with him. He also tried making fun of my name and calling me princess. This is unacceptable.

Harbor Freight Tools employees

We know to begin with that the products at HF are inferior, that is why they are cheap! We know that going in so, I have no issue with that. I don't know what they pay their employees but it must be commensurate with their product quality. This is reflected in all of their policies pertaining to customers.
After spending that 15 minutes in like to buy a $13 item,... there were only two people in front of me, I drove home to find out that the item was rusted inside and did not work. I get in my car and drove back to HF and was told I had to stand in line again, so that they could update their inventory. Needless to say, I did not do that, after getting the replacement item I simply gave them the receipt and said "have me arrested" and left (for the last time, ever).
There is no excuse for treating customer like employees "do it or else". A returns line lets the public know that if your product is defective, HF takes some of the responsibility and at least feels bad that you had to make two trips to return their mistake.
I will make it an alternative purpose in my life to discourage patronage at Harbor Freight!

Harbor Freight Tools wireless surveillance cameras

Went to your store on forest ave in Staten Island to purchase the 2 camera set of surveillance cameras under the box they were marked $75 when I brought the slip to the cashier I was told it was 200 I showed him were I got it he said I see it says 75 let me call the manager the manager stated oh maybe someone moved the box I'm a frequent shopper in your store and seen this item in the same spot last week for the price of $75 but didn't make the purchase so I went back today I feel it should be the responsibility of your staff to make sure everything is properly mark and that I should received it for the price that it stated on your self

Hey Stupid! If you look at the price tag under the item, I'm almost positive that it was for a different item, because that item has NEVER been $75 ! YOU SEE! the writing on the price tag tells you which item is that price! Why don't you first learn to read, then worry about getting a security camera!

today even with the currant coupon was charged a higher price. Didn*t notice receipt till I got home. Then checked husbands receipt and he was charged again for a tool he returned that had broken. Mine was a 63422 rotating light charged 9.99 and coupon and store price was 4.99 so 5 there and had a coupon for 61938 for 2.98 charged 6.79.3.30 there. Have receipt and was going to mail to Butler but over 62 miles round trip, still might. Husbands receipt only was charged for a returned tool even thou we talked to the manager and was allowed to exchange it but we bought it again. only 4.99 for the 68514 flex shaft driver att. As Butler is such a long trip for us and a waste of gas to go back to store. maybe 13.29 is not very much for you but it would buy my groceries.

Harbor Freight Tools product out of stock / staff attitude

It is incomprehensible how your store in Dillon, SC can be out of a product like a generator for over a week when hurricane Irma is headed this way. Especially when you have the worlds largest distribution center less than a half a mile away. What's even worse is the completely dismissive, uncaring and condescending attitude of the store employees. I manage an industrial manufacturing plant less than 10 miles away. I've spent almost $2000 there in the last month alone. I can tell you, without a doubt, I've spent my last dollar with Harbor Freight

Harbor Freight Tools 1hp shallow well pump return with paid extended warranty

Bought a 1hp pump tank combo with extended warranty from the location in Dent Ohio for my homes water well. Tank goes bad and has my pump motor short cycling but still pumping some water. I talked to the store and I'm told without the pump she cannot exchange or return money. I disconnect the shallow well pump from my home and take it back to store. When I arrive with receipt pump and box, I'm told by the (female) manager that I'll have to call a number to redeem warranty through them...I call and they say we no longer continue production of that pump and they will send a credit by mail for the full price I paid. AND that there is no reason to return pump do to a new policy! (for consumer safety).I told the (female) manager at the Dent location that now I'm stuck waiting for 7 days for a store credit without ANY water at my home when I never had to remove it, do to THEIR policy. [protected] (talked to Liz) is the number they gave me which was of NO help. Liz told me they couldn't send check because I have a p.o. box? So I called back and spoke with a different rep and the p.o.box Isn't an issue!They informed me that an in store return totally relied on the store manager...manager told me "nothing she can do about it". So my home has no water for 7 days because I was told to bring pump back for return, just to have customer service tell me it's not needed. Sure I'm not the only one...

This person Cheyenne which she prefers herself as manager there at your North Knoxville store off-Broadway was probably one of the rudest person I have ever talk to, for a customer that spends thousands of dollars yearly I have never once been made look like a fool in front of customers before all over my coupon which was up to date and was good after complaining that she refuses to take my coupon then orders me to leave the store and that I was no longer welcome. I will be more than happy to take my business esle where like Northern Tools just down the road. It may help if you have REAL managers that knows HOW to be a Manager, your north Broadway store would run better and more friendly. At this point I will never come back to your store just because of your manager you guys have hired...WHAT a [censor]!

Harbor Freight Tools 18" 7 drawer end cabinet

I wanted to buy a end cabinet there was none in stock, so they gave me a rain check . The rain check was good for two weeks, and they said they should have them in by then. The two weeks was almost up so i stopped in to see if it had come in yet. They checked their inventory and none had come in.They said it should be on the next truck, and it would be another two to three weeks before the next shipment would be in, and they wrote me another rain check. So I waited the three weeks and stopped in with my rain check in hand
I asked if they had come in on this shipment, the store manger checked and said there was one on the truck and it would be unloaded Monday night, so it would be available Tuesday morning, but it would be between me and another customer who also had been waiting for one to arrive. I told the store manger i worked 7:30am to 5:30pm and wouldn't be able to be there. I am a inside track member and have given harbor freight alot of business, sometimes shopping there two times a week always leaving with tools in my hand. My name is Tom Erb and I will never shop there again. They should have of gotten ahold of their warehouse and ordered another. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Harbor Freight Tools greenwood propane torch

The propane torch is about a year old. Stored indoors, used 4 times. The hose where it attaches to the handle blew off during use of the torch, enveloping me in a cloud of propane. The cloud did not ignite.

The customer service people are a joke. All I want is to inform them of a defective and dangerous product. They seem to robo form a non caring reply.
