Halso Heating Maintenence Ltd / Awful company

1 United States Review updated:

Halso served my aga on 18/11/08 stated that a new blast tube was needed. part was ordered & fitted on21/11/08. on 13/12/08 the aga caught fire .halso more senior engineer called admitted that it was the young guy's fault that it had not been assembled correctly & had combusted leaking fuel. they offered to put right the aga but having spoke to a few people it would seem that i wasn't the first to have problems with this company. Since then a recommended engineer has done a report on what they have found to have caused the fire & it is lucky that we are still here to tell the tale ie; wrong parts fitted parts put back together incorrectly. on producing this report it would seem they are no longer accepting liability so we are left with no option but to put it with our insurers to try & recover the cost direct. What's very worrying is that they are still out there carrying on maintaining peoples aga's & possibly putting peoples lives at risk.
