I purchased from Hallmark in 2011 the Peanuts/Snoopy wireless battery operated synchronized sound and motion 4 piece ornaments. The following year in 2012 I added an additional piece (Linus with a trumpet). The unique feature of this set is that when one piece is activated, the others join in with their musical instruments sound. Well, this year (November, 2015), I put out the 5 pieces and found that the Linus piece does not join in. I called Hallmark customer service and asked about the warranty since their motion ornaments usually have a 3 year warranty (or so I thought). I was informed that not all of their motion ornaments were covered under this warranty. In fact, only the pig-tail ones that connect to the Christmas tree miniature lights is covered. When I told them that I have several battery operated ornaments including the Peanuts set, they said these also were not covered. When you spend between $25 - $35 for each ornament you expect some sort of guaranty against workmanship defects. These ornaments only come out at Christmas time so you can see that the Linus ornament was only used for 2 months in 2 years. I am so disappointed with Hallmark not standing by their products especially if they are defected. I have purchased so many motion and sound ornaments over the years and will now stop. If you cannot trust the company from whom you purchased the items, then you must send them a message by not making any future purchases. I am so dissatisfied with the whole experience
