Ladies and Gentlemen it seems that the so called company Haliburton Oil & Gas has changed its game. I just received an job offer to work for Haliburton, UK. The documents appeared to be real and they even offer to obtain a working permit in the UK for me through the British Home Office. The catch is you must first buy International Travelers Insurance from their company called Reliance Assurance. They even have a website set up (www.reliance-assurance.com) so be careful.

I also got the same mail. I was knowing its fake, Nobody can give such a high salary and i was not intrested in further process... so friends dont be in a hurry and react to such mails and act accordinally, use ur brains...

I also did receive the same letter from bar Najib & co. Not too convinced about the 'excessive goodies' attached i decided to check website of the mother company...only to notice that it was a fraudulent employment offer...

Just two days ago they gave me similar job offer with similar position but my first taught was: 1, 'this is not my kind of domain of competence '
2. 'Why didn't the body responsible in finding m a job inform me about this'
3. 'A big company like Halliburton can not be making so much Language errors as those.'
This last point made believe it was all scam.

i've recieved a similar email from the same person bar najib mohammed for halliburton oil and gas, malaysia recruitment. i thought it right to read some blogs and found it quite right as i doubted it..really this najib is trying to be very cunning but he needs to know that he is not that sharp as he feels .halliburton should take an initiative by checking out najib's credentials and seal his efforts as it is damaging halliburton's reputation.

Many peoples are the victims of the above offer, I am one of them, so I already sent mail to hallibuirton and Malasiyan Embassy for further investigation. I hope they may take care to stop such things to spoil the reputation of the prestigious company.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made this 4 June 2009, between HALLIBURTON OIL AND GAS
MALAYSIA incorporated under the Laws of MALAYSIA (here in after called Hallibuton Expression
shall where the context so admits include its successors-in-title and assigns) -----------------------------

ARTICLE 1.
THE HALLIBURTON OIL AND GAS (MALAYSIA) desires to secure the services of a competent
contractor to provide expatriate services and others as specified in the appointment letter;
1.1 CONTRACTOR AND CONSULTANT represents to THE HALLIBURTON OIL AND GAS
that it has the technical competence necessary for carrying out all the services, duties and
obligations specified in this contract on the part of CONTRACTOR to be assumed and performed
and has agreed to carry out the same in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set
forth.
ARTICLE 2: CONTRACT PERIOD
2.1 The contract period shall be for Contract duration: The contract shall last for duration of (24)
consecutive months; two (2) years and could be renewed only if employer is satisfied with
employee's services.
ARTICLE 3: FEES FOR SERVICES AND TERMS OF PAYMENTS
3.1 THE (HALLIBURTON) shall pay CONTRACTOR/EMPLOYEE on satisfactory performance of the
services stated in Article 1, through 1st party contractor the sum USD 29, 000.00( Twenty nine
Thousand Dollars only)/ months or Euros/Pounds equivalent depending on employee’s home
country.
3.2 THE Halliburton shall pay for services rendered in Article 1 by cheque presented on a monthly
basis at the rate stated in Article 3.1.
3.3 Payments of undisputed invoices will be made by THE HALLIBURTON to the CONTRACTOR
monthly.
3.4 THE HALLIBURTON shall pay all of the fees in Article 3.1 in US dollars or Euros equivalent
depending on employees’ home country and shall be paid; 80% to an offshore account provided by
contractor and 20% locally.
The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a
result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges; procurement of travel
documents (flight tickets), immunizations etc. Reimbursements shall be made before employee
embark on journey not later than Five (5) working days
after submission of employee’s expense report and receipts, this is after the acquisition of relevant
traveling papers through their local representatives assistance from the Immigrations/Internal affairs
ministry in MALAYSIA.
Employer for each intercontinental trip shall pay $5, 520.00 flat rate travel/entertainment allowance to
employee. Travel shall be by business class/first class. However for the purpose of commencement,
the cost of travel ticket shall be paid in addition to travel/entertainment allowance. Cost shall be
substantiated and shall be the rate charged at the Period/time of purchase.
Employer shall also take care of employees' travel ticket including that of employees' family only on
employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee.
3.5 COMFIRMED EMPLOYEES
Confirmed employees are those employee’s that have successfully acquired and forwarded his/her
necessary permits clearance papers to the employers’ management-duly certified by the MALAYSIA
Immigration Services/Ministry Of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Of MALAYSIA). Then they shall be
entitled to article 3.0-3.4 above.

ARTICLE 4: GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT/OTHER BENEFITS
4.1 Unless otherwise stated in a superseding document, the Contract Administrator of HALLIBURTON
shall maintain general administration and management of the project and all progress reports should
be addressed HALLIBURTON to him.
4.2 Working Shift Hour is from 8.00 AM – 4.00 PM
ARTICLE 5: ASSIGNMENT
5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall not assign or transfer any or all of its rights, responsibilities or obligation
under this Agreement without the prior written consent of HALLIBURTON, which consent shall not be
unreasonably withheld. However, HALLIBURTON shall be entitled without such consent to assign the
transfer of any or all of its rights, responsibilities, obligations and liabilities under this Agreement to
any affiliate of (HALLIBURTON) OF MALAYSIA or its co-venture subject to prior written notification.
ARTICLE 6: INDEMNITY
The CONTRACTOR agrees to indemnify and hereby indemnifies AMAX in respect of all third party
claims arising from the performance of this contract.
ARTICLE 7: FORCE MAJEURE
7.1 Not withstanding any thing herein stated, neither party should be considered in default in the
performance of its obligations under this Agreement as a result of Force Majeure.
The term "Force Majeure" shall include but not limited to Act of God, War, Nation wide strike, Lockout,
Riot and Civil commotion. A strike or Lockout embarked upon by only the CONTRACTOR’S personnel
shall not be deemed to be included in this term.
7.2 If an interruption of work occurs as a result of "Force Majeure" for up to seven (7) days, 70% of the
basic daily fees shall be paid as standby.
However, if such suspension results in CONTRACTOR not being able to perform its duties for more
than seven (7) days, then HALLIBURTON may at its option elect to continue the implementation of this
Agreement at adjusted standby rates to be negotiated by HALLIBURTON and CONTRACTOR or to
terminate the contract.
OIL AND GAS
ARTICLE 8: TERMINATION
8.1 This Agreement may be terminated: -
(i) If the services stated in Article 1 and are not rendered satisfactorily.
(ii) If the duration of the Agreement stated in Article 2 expires and no extension has
been given.
(iii) Under Force Majeure as stated in Article 7.0
ARTICLE 9: DEFAULT OF CONTRACTOR
9.1 In the event of default by CONTRACTOR or non-compliance by CONTRACTOR with the terms and
conditions of this Agreement, Halliburton shall give notice to CONTRACTOR specifying areas of default
and CONTRACTOR shall have ten (10) calendar days to rectify to HALLIBURTON satisfaction, the said
default's. If CONTRACTOR does not rectify to (HALLIBURTON) satisfaction, the said default's) within ten
(10) days of receipt of the notice, Hallburton may proceed with termination of this Agreement subject
only to settlement of all payments due and outstanding at the time of termination.
ARTICLE 10: ADDRESSES FOR NOTICE
All notices and other communication required to be given hereunder by one party to the other shall be in
writing and shall be sufficiently given if sent by post, faxed or delivered by hand
Notice shall be deemed to have been properly given if delivered by hand or registered post, fourteen (14)
days after dispatch or postage.
ARTICLE 11: ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement embodies the entire understanding of the parties hereto and any prior representation or
arrangements are hereby superseded.
ARTICLE 12: EMPLOYEE VISA / WORK PERMIT
All foreign employee must obtain visa / work permit from Malaysia Immigration Department, which
contact will only be provided by HALLIBURTON OIL AND GAS to enable a better registration of every
international worker that will be working with Halliburton Oil & Gas Inc. You are not to obtain a Malaysia
Visa / Working permit from the Embassy in your own country.
Halliburton can only give to you, the immigration to contact to obtain your visa / Work permit, as this is
the policy signed by both Haliburton and Malaysia Immigration Department.
NOTE:
Every foreign employee (International worker) coming to work with Halliburton must be responsible for
obtaining both the Malaysia Visa / working permit from the Malaysia Immigration department. But after
the employee have resume office with us, the charges paid for obtaining the visa / work permit me will
be refunded back to personal account as this is the new policy of the company.
ARTICLE 13: ATTESTATION
AS WITNESS, the hands of the duly authorized representatives of the parties, the day and year first
