The place is absolutely disgusting. Absolutely not up to code! People are working off the books also they are not on the books for the proper amount of hours. i also believe the owner pays illegally!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have included a picture, even though I am so extremely embarassed. It shows how my hair was, what I asked for and what I left with.
Went to have my hair trimmed, thinned and shaped. Woman stated that she could take me as a walk in. Showed her my picture of what I wanted and she stated that she could do it. Did not have my glasses on and when she was done and put them on, my heart sunk to my stomach. The girl swiped my card before I could tell her that I was far from satisfied (she saw me crying). Had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to add a tip. She told me I had 2 weeks to fix it and to keep my receipt. There were people around in the mall and I was terribly upset. I went to my car and called the salon asking for the manager or someone in charge. I was told to call the next day. I could not wait, I needed my hair fixed because I had work the next morning.
I called and was told I could not have a refund but another cut. I had no hair left (went from 5" below my shoulders to 3" above and no bangs). She told me she did not know the managers name except for Michael. He had no contact number nor did he have any set hours during the week. He also did not work any other store nor did they have any other store. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible.
I would not suggest and I will never return.
The problem with the Hair Palace are the two women in the front - mother and daughter pair - Lucille and Melissa. When a customer makes an appointment the appointment should be kept. It happens time & time again where an appointment is made and they either leave early or take other customers and tell you you're going to have to wait. The Hair Palace does not have a manager because "one never works out" - no it's because no one can stand up to this pair. My advice - don't go to the Hair Palace period - there is ZERO accountability and ZERO regard for customers. You'll waste your time and money, it's not worth it.
You've also heard rumors and stories that the stylists are super catty and total ###. It gets so bad that they attack each other! Hell I've seen it happen once.
