Hair Cuttery stolen cell phone at ranson, wv hair cuttery

I was at the hc in ranson, wv on christmas eve. I used my phone right before I got in the chair. I put it in the cell phone pocket on the coat. The stylist took my coat back to the employee break area. After my haircut, I asked for my coat. The phone was gone. Only one of the employees there could have taken it. The manager (Melissa) didn't bother to even ask if anyone had seen anybody in the coats. They let me try to call it from there and I got instant voicemail. But for the most part, they could care less that a thief is among them. I reported it to the police. I reported it to hc. 4 times. Always the same story, a district leader will call me. Nope. I have been a loyal hc customer since 2006. And I never would have thought my stuff would have been so brazenly stolen. I called again today and am waiting again. I told them I am posting to every complaint board I can find. I'm going to ripoff.com next.

Hair Cuttery hair color

On October 10, 2016 I walked into Hair Cuttery in Romeoville, IL. There is 2 locations about a mile from eachother. I've never had a problem with either location and all the stylists usually do a wonderful job with my bleach blonde highlights and cut. I haven't been there in a while and showed one of the stylists a bleach blonde I wanted throughout my hair with low lights in between. She guaranteed me it she can do it since I already had bleached highlights. The day of my appointment I was 10 minutes late since I was stuck on the expressway coming 33 miles to the salon. I called and she said that was fine. When I got there I waited 50 minutes before she took me because she took a walk in and took her sweet time. After waiting, the stylist Ariella finally took me. She dumps bleach all over my head with no lowlights and puts conditioner all around the edges of my skin which I didn't like. I'm guessing so the bleach didn't stain my skin since she seemed careless. It was uncomfortable and greasy. When she was applying the bleach, the stylist next to her needed help cutting ng some ladies hair so she stops the beach process and helps the girl cut the ladies hair for 6 minutes and comes back to finish up the bleach. As the bleach sits, she takes another customer to cut his hair. In the middle of his haircut, she just stops and doesn't tell the man anything to rinse the bleach out of my hair. He looked dumbfounded as he watched her rinse my bleach out. She then tells me to sit tight with my head hanging for 15 minutes in the sink so she can finish the man's haircut and get the toner ready for my hair. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. After all the washing and rinsing the toner, she starts cutting my hair. Another rookie stylist then messes up on some guy's line up and he complained for 20 minutes that he looked like a peanut head and to shave his whole head bald. My stylist, thinking she can rescue the man's hair cut stops cutting my hair and starts cutting this man's hair. For 15 minutes I waited with wet hair half cut. The man then tells her to trim his beard. At this point I'm pist off and inpatient. I told the rookie stylist who was sitting there watching the girl try to fix her work to finish my hair. After she cuts and blow drys it, my hair is orange and gold on the top and bottom. I was furious. The other stylist there decided to add more toner. It still looked the same. 6 1/2 hours later I walk out with orange/gold hair. I did sign a complaint and went back the next day with the Salon leader Allison who said she can fix it. She made my hair all one color but it was not bleach blonde at all. All my pretty highlights were ruined. It looked like I went to the store and bought a box dye and did it myself. I was so upset. She told me to keep using the purple Matrix shampoo everyday and it would lighten my hair dramaticall. Well, a week later I felt so ugly and insecure because my hair looked like a bronze so I called the Salon Leader Allison and told her I wanted a refund. She said come into the Salon that's in Lockport, IL since she ran both Salons and was in that location that day so she can see my hair. When, I got there she told me it wasn't that bad and couldn't guarantee me a full refund or a refund at all. I signed another complaint then made a complaint online and spoke with a representative on the phone and I received a phone call that I would be receiving a refund within 7-10 business days from the corporate office. Well, over a month later and nothing. I contacted the lady who said I was going to be refunded and left her a message and she calls me stating she forgot to fax my information over to the corporate office which she stated in the first phone call and even left me a message both times on my cellphone which I still have. So now I'm still waiting on my refund. If I don't get it this week, I will be contacting corporate office myself or whoever is in charge. The pictures below are before I walked into Hair Cuttery, after I walked into Hair Cuttery and the amazing results from my new stylist that Hair Cuttery couldn't execute. She's amazing and Hair Cuttery really needs to stop hiring these rookies because I've never had a problem with them and always talked highly of them but there was no one running that Hair Cuttery the day I went in and they were all rookies.

Hair Cuttery unfair treatment of employee racist

Good evening my name is Barbara Gedeon my daughter has been working for a little over 3 month at the 32 Haddon ave Haddon township NJ. she has had a couple of incidents happen with this manager (Nicky unknown last name) that made my young daughter feel she was being bIast due to her race which is African American. Tonight's incident has now forced me and my husband to get involved . My daughter came home crying because her boss had her hand out gifts to all the employee but didn't receive one herself . She is the only young black woman at this location at the very least its poor management and people skills . she was not only singled out in such a rude and obvious way, . she was told in front of all the employees that she is not a real hair stylist is this really how you feel this young woman fresh out of school should be treated. This woman has taken the joy out of working she has abused her position and my daughter. My daughter Ashley Gedeon graduated in august of 2016 she is certified she just took the state board test . I suggested she find another job but she likes your company despite not getting the pay increase she was promised by this same manager. As a parent of a young black woman I cant stand back and watch my daughter go through such rude and in our eyes racist behavior under the guise of hair cuttery corp logo. As a professional black woman i hope you give this the attention it deserves and reach out to this family ASAP anything less would lead me to believe this type of behavior is accepted and condoned.

Hair Cuttery complaint about stylist

I took my Granddaughter, Maya, to the Hair cuttery at Lake Montclair Center, Montclair, VA. We got there at 11:30. The stylist Nicole #21 signed her in. I asked for the stylist that was familiar with her hair but she was not there. My Granddaughter is bi-racial, my point is, if Nicole was not comfortable doing her hair she should have said so. In stead she shampoos and put conditioner on her hair and Did Not rinse it out properly. She got her hair tangled so badly that the manager tried to assist her between her jobs. It is now 1:40 and she brings my Grand daughter to me and says that the front is matted. I told her it was not matted when I brought her in because I had combed and brushed it out and put moisturizer on it and a cap so it would be easy to manage. I asked if I could pick it out she consulted with manager who said having me do it in the shop was a liability. I told Nicole I was going to get a pick and I would be back she requested that I pay, so as not to make a seen I paid for the shampoo and deep conditioner $21.00 + 5.00 tip. I took her to the Food Lion and purchased a pick and detangle and lift brush went to our 90 degree temp car, and brushed and picked out the front of her hair, which she said she couldn't do. We went back and Nicole did not come back to finish the job because she knew that the back was still tangled. It is now three o'clock and the stylist who had did Maya's hair previously came. She signed on and took Maya as a client. She starts working on her hair and after an hour or so she realizes she also needs help because she is having to detangle what she thought had been done and also white sticky stuff was left in and it was hard where Nicole first stylist had blow dried it and had not rinsed the conditioner out properly. Euna spent from 3 :00pm to 5:30pm working on Maya's hair. It was a total of six hours spent at and around the hair cuttery for my nine year old Grand daughter. She was a trooper she only complained when it hurt. The other stylist complemented Maya for being so patience. I paid Euna $50.00 + tip which she well deserved. I spent a total of $70.00 for a "Smile turned upside down".

Hair Cuttery courtesy and charge for service not rendered

May 25, 2016 at about 2:45 pm walked in the Hair Cuttery in Palatine, IL and asked for my regular cutter. The lady who "greeted" me was very rude and short with me. She's on vacation she barked. That is all that she said to me as she walked away, not giving me any idea of what was happening next. I took it that she needed to clean up after her previous client, but she milled around for about 15 minutes. I was wondering what was going on and then I saw that she took another lady who had just walked in the shop. Granted she probably had an appointment, but there was no explanation. A few minutes later another lady did come forward who I believe was just starting her shift at 3. She gave a horrible haircut and then charged me for a shampoo which I did not receive. Been going to this Hair Cuttery in Palatine, IL for a few years now and wonder how some can be so rude to customers and others charge for services not rendered?!?!? Terrible service!

Hair Cuttery about the service

My sister Lena and I walked into HairCuttery about one week ago, we sat down, and then was set-up for our hair cuts. Our understanding that a twenty-dollar hair cut, a cut and shampoo is provided b y the hair specialists. My sister Lena, the hair specialists, provided both a cut and shampoo, then for myself, I waited in the chair, and I felt it was not my place to ask, for a shampoo. I was forgotten to get a shampoo, we paid and contacted the corporate manager, explained that free coupons mailed, thus far none. Now, is it because we are seniors, a male, white c. ? This is not good service, especially with the nature of these people in Park Ridge, they will try a business once... thank you

Hair Cuttery went in for a perm.

Moved to Jacksonville and went to Hair Cuttery on Atlantic Blvd. Been having perms every 3 months for many years. I new i was in trouble when the hair dresser i had took directions out of the box and read how to do it. I walked out of there with a tiny, tiny bit of curl. Two days later there was nothing left and my hair looked worse then before i went in. Will never go there again. Should of took the 50 dollars plus 10 dollar tip and just lit it on fire. It was just awful.

Hair Cuttery just walk in policy is crap!

Just had my second most horrible experience at North Brunswick NJ Haircuttery, with same haicutter, Stafanie. No appointment necessary. Yeah right. After having to come back in a half hour, she still wasn't ready . She said Im almost done. Well, after waiting for 15 minutes longer, I walked out. And no one seemed to care, or ask where I was going or even called to find out what happened. This is not the first time I was screwed around at this location. I was a good tipper, and purchased Nioxin products from this company, but never again! Stay away from HairCuttery, 404 Renaissance Blvd North Brunswick NJ

Hair Cuttery waxing

DO NOT GO HERE! I used to have good experiences here with a particular stylist but he hasn't been there in a while. I stopped in yesterday and got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed and not only did Wendy wax off literally half my eyebrow so it was bald, she didn't say a word and hid it with my hair so I didn't see it until I got in my car. Therefore I tipped her and bought hair products. I went back in and showed the manager and they would only refund the 8.00, not the whole 60.00 INCLUDING THIS SHADY LYING INCOMPETENT PERSON'S TIP. Absolutely ridiculous. I had to go buy 40.00 worth of makeup at ulta and spend 30 minutes using it to hide this mistake. People make mistakes but you DO NOT LIE to a customer or try to hide it. You own up to it and make it right. Which WENDY did not do. Once that was made known, I should have been given back my whole 60.00 immediately, including HER TIP. WENDY never even apologized, only the manager did but she wouldn't give me all my money back and she let WENDY keep my tip. Very angry and been telling everyone, DO NOT GO HERE EVER.

Hair Cuttery service/honesty/failure to provide proper service i

My daughter went to hair cuttery in Storrs CT and paid for a service which was not rendered. She asked for highlights, they told her that they would show up after about a month which they didn't and just dyed the whole head one color. They also had told her that if she was not happy with it after a month to come back and they would fix it for no charge. When she went back, they said they were afraid her hair would break if they did the actual highlight. This was very disappointing to her and it spoiled her entire day as she was looking forward to being happy with her hair and was unhappy with it for that entire month.

Hair Cuttery Bullying

This is the worse company to work for. The management is horrible ! I have been getting harassed so bad because I am so good at what I do I worked there for 2 weeks for 4 hours a day and ran my numbers above every stylist in the shop. Because they couldn't find flaws in my work they had to gang up on me and hang on every other thing I said or did and ran to tell management. I felt like a little kid in grade school. When I would tell my Manager this was going on she would deny, deny, deny, because I never worked with her she didn't witness what kind of worker I really was, she would only hear the tall tale lies being told by my assistant manager. I finally put in for a transfer which I still have yet to receive now 2 weeks later. This is the way they treat there money making stylists? They only care about their managers.

Tinley Park, US
Feb 22, 2023 11:40 am EST

I too just had the experience ever at the Tinley Park Haircuttery in Tinley Park Illinois, the worst manager ever to be leveled up, she would brag all the time how she was an assistant for 22 years, and yet don't know how to talk to people, haircuttery has got the education that if one of the stylist needs helps in certain areas instead of writting that person up, send them to a class to get more educated on that particular service, like for instance, not all styist's can cut young kids hair when they move, so send them to a class where they would be taught the right way of how to approach that particular young person, not just write them up, and using her higher up WILL cause conflict in the future and bad karma on her, you want to brag on how many years you've been an assistant, then put your big mouth to good use, I cannot say enough, and furtheramore, quit bringing in other stylist's to gossip about another stylist, that too my friend is NOT very professional, and the DL should act like a DL and step in and see BOTH sides of the picture, but instead just pretty much get rid of the good people and leave the [censored] with you, well, enough said, I will pretty much tell everyone how Tinley Park haircuttery treats their stylist and their employees so rotten, why the hell would anyone go their if their only keeping the one's with bad attitudes, and the one's that gossip all the time about even their own clients? BAD FOR BUSINESS!

Hair Cuttery she cut too much

Don’t visit the place under the name www.haircuttery.com. I arrived on Monday there and told the hairdresser that I wanted to cut a little bit. I told about 3 inches, but the hairdresser cut 6 and it was too short. I was shocked and wanted to cry. How did she do it? Why did she ignore what I have told her? I will never again use the services of this hairdresser.

Hair Cuttery bad service

HAIR CUTTERY - Stupidly long story, I went to one of their shops in New Jersey and they were closed when they said they would be open. I called customer service they said they would send out a coupon for a free haircut, they never did. I called them again, same thing. Gave up on it, called them back nine months later same run around. Ridiculous. Hate this company. The regional person said on the notes they called me twice, they never did, I suspect they just want to give people the run around enough so they just give up. AVOID THEM.

Hair Cuttery not even close to what I asked for

I was growing my hair out for 3 years so i could get it styled the way i wanted it. so finally i went today to get it done. i took a picture with me of the exact cut and style so they knew what to do (shaggy long hair with a side bang). .. i look into the mirror and find my hair completely chopped off to my neck and no bangs. Best part is, it was the manager of the store. needless to say. Dont trust the place.

Hair Cuttery cut hair off

I went to have my hair trimmed no more than 3 inches came out with more than 10 inches removed completely. The man never gave me his name and he went to great lengths to tell me how healthy my hair was and how he can tell I dont blow dry it, etc. I had to stand up for him to trim it. So upon this I can no longer see what he is doing to my hair. He took the undergrowth and trimmed it first. But unknowingly to me, cut all of my hair the same length as it. He had me sit back down and then trimmed my front area. Then said your done, and said it will be so much easier to brush out now. To my horror, it was gone, all of my long hair I had struggled to grow for the last 2 years was gone. He knew exactly what he had done. I was so shocked I paid and walked out. I cannot believe that this ### had the audacity to advise me on keeping the hair on top conditioned with a sun proof conditioner. I will never return to this established or ever get my hair cut by anyone outside of myself or someone I know again. I am totally done with Hair Cuttery and Supercuts and anything resembling a chain store.

Hair Cuttery horrible hair cut, overprice, wrong style, no correction

I saved all my money to get a hair cut for Valentines Day. I asked for a 'full' haircut (I have very thin hair) and electric blue streak coloring. What resulted was such a thin, mousey, grey haircut that I look and feel like an ironed out mouse, and look like such a ragged old lady I look SO bad :( I called immediately to ask for some correction, I tried to be understanding, but I dont have any more money. My stylist said that she cant do anything without more money and said she was in the middle of someone else's haircut, and she hung up on me. This was so bad and I feel so bad about myself, and I cancelled the valentines date I had, I just feel so bad, I look like an old wet mouse, and the stylist doesnt care.

Hair Cuttery unstable hairstylist

I write this, I a perplexed and confused as to why a Hair Cuttery stylist would demean a good tipping customer, who was praising her expertise.
On Friday, 8/2/13, I went to a Hair Cuttery, where I had been frequenting, on and off, for 5 or 6 years. There was a brief interlude, where I met "Cairlen" (name changed, as per advice of counsel, to avoid liability) at a different styling establishment; and those 5 times, I got the best haircuts of my life. And at "Cairlen's" other salon, when I mentioned that I converted from Hair Cuttery to her location, her comment was that she "WOULD NEVER WORK AT A CHOP-SHOP DUMP, LIKE HAIRCUTTERY". The owner of "Cairlen's establishment smiled, when she heard "Cairlen" say that".
When "Cairlen" and the owner parted ways, I visited her where she worked bussing tables, at an "Italian" restaurant (Liability again. It wasn't an Italian restaurant.)
I offered her $100.00 to cut my hair; and she declined; so, I took my roast pork fried rice and left. The next time that I visited that "Italian" restaurant, I again tried to get "Cairlen" to cut my hair; and, again, she declined.
SO, when I needed a haircut, I visited "Lyndsey" (NOT her real name); and I was shocked to see "Cairlen", who had said that she "WOULD NEVER WORK AT A CHOP-SHOP DUMP, LIKE HAIR CUTTERY". And, "Cairlen" pretended that she didn't know me.
On my way out, I told her that it was nice seeing her again.
Needless to say, since "Cairlen" had done an exemplorary job on my 5 haircuts at her other location, when I tried to make an appointment, I was sort of routed to the district manager Kristin, who said that Hair Cuttery was now only walk-in styling's.
When I went there on Friday morning at 8:45 AM, there were also 2 other women waiting.
After I got inside, one of the waiting women said that I had to stop harassing her daughter, "Cairlen"; and I had no idea as to who she was even referring to, or why she didn't speak a word to me, while we were waiting outside for Hair Cuttery to open.
No idea, that was, until I saw the 3 Lower Providence policemen, who questioned me; and told me that "Cairlen" had told her mom, her employer and the police that I Found out where she had moved to; and that I also found out that she had purchased a new car. AND, that I was stalking her. I'm not sure if that meant at her home or at Hair Cuttery.
I need to say that I couldn't give a rat's butt as to where "Cairlen" lives, nor do I give a "frig" as to what car she had purchased. I even said to the police, that I didn't think that with the salary that I figured that they made at Hair Cuttery, that I was surprised that "Cairlen" could afford a new car.
The police checked out my ID and my CCP; and everything was in order.
The police told me that I wasn't allowed back there again. BUT, "Lyndsey" had been cutting my hair, other than the time that I visited "Cairlen" at her other place. Ya know, the place where she said she "WOULD NEVER WORK AT A CHOP-SHOP DUMP, LIKE HAIR CUTTERY".
I will close with my opening remarks of this saga: I am perplexed and confused as to why a Hair Cuttery stylist would demean a good tipping customer, who was praising her expertise. And other than low self-esteem, I'm I was always nice to her and I constantly praised her styling expertise.
Oh Well, Tomorrow I'll have some roast pork fried rice at that "Italian" restaurant's all you can eat buffet.

Hair Cuttery professionalism

Some of the stylists that work in this shop are very unprofessional. They wear beach wear, consisting of shorts and t-shirts and flip flops. There are a few males that are very flamboyant and loud, speaking across the salon about inappropriate matters. I felt very uncomfortable with my children being there. This is supposed to be a beauty salon, not a front yard home salon.
I think that the have hired new people and have made a huge mistake. There are other stylists that are very nice and professional.

Hair Cuttery poor services

Went for simple and quick haircut, place wasn't busy so they promised me 15-20 minutes wait. After an hour of wait i noticed that line is actually getting longer and that they are purposely increasing my wait time. Manager of the place was too busy chatting with her friend rather then getting my hair done. If this place has a friends and family policy that allows them to go in front of the line they should notify customers. They shouldn't give bogus waiting time answers or in other words they should not lie to customers.
