Hair Club - Boston and Woburnpoor service

Hair Club of Boston recently (March 2011) moved to a new location in downtown Boston and simultaneously lost a key manager, a very nice Irish lady who ran the place beautifully. Since that time, they have failed to deliver their promised products on time, and the quality of the products have varied considerably from very poor to reasonably good. The present local manager is seldom to be seen, and if sought out to inquire about deliveries or discuss problems, she is vague, uninterested, and does not follow up with request information. Her knowledge of the products is minimal to none, and she had no background in this area before joining Hair Club. The local salesman offers promises, promises, promises, fails to check the facts, creates answers from thin air, and is not very helpful. The local Sales Manager is completely invisible which is probably better as he is totally uninvolved in customer service and is hardly ever in in the office; if questioned about much of anything, he is arrogant, pompous, and does not check his facts, hardly good qualities for a Sales Manager. The Owner of the Boston office (and several other Massachusetts sites as well as some in Florida) used to be around frequently --then his service was not only excellent but sometimes truly outstanding. He is apparently uninterested in the business these days and seldom appears in the office, and when he does, he no longer interacts with any customers. At one time, Hair Club of Boston/Woburn offered good products and excellent service, but it has begun a slow, steady downward decline fueled by some really poor managers, unhelpful sales staff, and absent owner. Unfortunately, the way the company is organized, they never seek customer feedback, and upper management is completely unavailable. Before signing up with this company, one needs to carefully consider other options, as it is unlikely that things will change any time in the future. Sad to see a good company decay so rapidly.
