We purchase a warranty threw fair deal auto from gwc on it contract and insurance card and brochure it states that they pay for labor rental car reimbursement and you can take your car to any shop! Well its all fraud and another warranty company that will say anything to sell you a no coverage warranty and fraud. This company is like bp global gwc guardian warranty corp have lied to consumer and when there product suppose to work it does not! Leaves the consumer holding the bag. But in california we have the insurance commissioner which is the first step is to file a complaint. The next is to show the fraud and send copies to the other states! Then we move forward to file a law suit. This insurance company is like the fidelity who committed fraud so beware. You will find you self in court and filing complaint and law suits. This is a fraudulent and there advertising is noting but smoke and mirrors . Remember the name gwc guardian warranty cooperation 7 mcalpine street/po box 5068, avoca pa

yeah but they have only three level of coverage! you my friend has the wrong brochure! they only cover reatal if your car is in the shop for more then 8 hours and they only cover labor at 60 to 70 dollar anything over that the customer will pay out of pocket! and the dealers that sale these warranty's don't give the consumer copy because if they did are if the read them they probably wouldn't buy these warranty. they don't cover all I know I had the warranty with out a deductible. but it don't matter because the warranty company and there dealer don't exclusive this information. I will run it on our blog after CNN REPORT AND INVESTIGATION!

as you can see the people that are defending GWC are employer, manager are owner this is why they have submited vigriuos replys to mislead consumers. But the complaint where filed with California Attorneys office of Jerry Brown and California Insurance Commissioner office of Steve Poizner who lead the investagation and as for Fair Deal Auto California found that they and Gwc had dicieved the customer and they lost thier dealer license if they didnt recevie a finer. Under the freedom of information act contact these office as well as California DMV Investsgation where a meeting was heald between consumer and dealer and fraud was detectied. So i would buy GWC protection again if they where the last protction company in the world are would not refer it to any cosumer.

I am having the same issue now. Took my BMW to BMW of Alexandria due to an issue. When I purchased the car I payed for power train plus, now I am battling with them to cover what clearly states that they over in their paper work.

The recent update I received is that I am supuse to pay to have BMW do an engine tear down to see where the fault happen when the techs are saying the part simply failed.

They are looking for any excuse to not cover the failure. Down right pathetic, false advertisement. They will be hearing from my lawyer this week.

We are going through the same thing with our GMC Yukon. They said they would have to have the mechanic tear down the transmission and MAYBE cover it. We have metal shards coming off and other issues with the transmission. It should obviously be covered by the warranty. How did your case end? We are LIVID

Paid 3500.00 for drivetrain warranty on a 2017 ram 6.7 4x4 crewcab truck, ram is famous for the rfe68 transmissions going out, they loose 5th and 6th gear, because of only having 2 clutch plates in this 2 gears,in 2019 ram redesigned this transmission to fix this problem, gwc says they will not cover the warranty I paid for in cash to replace my transmission because my truck exhaust has been modified an has a straight pipe an muffler on it and no catalytic converter, which I bought the truck this way,

I purchased car and GWC is the warranty offered, got the GOLD package. Seven days I needed to have my AC fixed GWC denied claim says it’s not covered. Told GWC I want to cancel, replied can’t be canceled or refunded in Pennsylvania. Please advise how to get my money back.

GWC is a scam. When i purchased it i was under the impression that i would pay $100 deductable for repairs/ parts that were covered. ( i purchased the comprehensive plan)
Your mechanic has to call them with a list of all the parts that need to be replaced. GWC then looks those parts up and finds the cheapest ones possible. That price that they "magically" find them for is the price they are willing to pay. The rest you need to pay. Theses parts are cheap and usually refurbished. And any reputable mechanic will not be willing to buy those cheap parts for your automobile. They also only pay $60-$70 an hour for labor.
My entire front end of my truck is falling apart and it is going to cost around $900 to repair. They agreed to pay $500. I waited on the phone for over 3 hours. They treated me like s#•t. Treated the les scwab lady like s#•t. They acted like she was trying to scam them. They gave us the run around. Finally saying they would cover ~$500. Where this number came from was not explained.

I have had similar issue with this GWC company. Warranty was placed into my purchase vehicle contract w/o notice, the dealership indicating the finance company Capital One required it in order to allow the purchase deal to go through. The dealership failed to provide any copy of the contract and only gave us a pamphlet bi-fold. Once cancelling the warranty we had $646 due which GWC ate up refund, claiming in the contract any "REPAIRS" will be deducted from refund and $50 service fee. I was shocked, and should of been made privy to this info by way of contract copy. Seems a bit illegal to me

Don't ever buy this warranty. I'm out 6000$ in repair costs and 2000$ for the warranty. Boy did I get taken for a ride. They didn't pay anything, said these where pre-exisisting conditions or not covered. Doesn't all used cars have pre-existing conditions? Do not buy a GWC Warranty! Learn from me my friends.

I spoke to RICHARD an agent working for GWC warranty on 9/4/2013 and asked him before adding it to my car if upgrading the suspension on my car would void my warranty or cause any issues.Richard kindly said no it would not be an issue.

I have since added it to my car. I called GWC again on 9/30 and asked SAM if I added a BOV (blow of valve) to my car if it would cause any warranty issues. He explained to me if it is properly installed there would be no issues. I added it to my car because I like the sound it makes and doing this time my car had 3 warranty repairs approved from AC to OIL leaks with no issues.

I took my car in for smoke coming from the exhaust to BMW and they advised me that the Turbo on the car needs to be replaced. To get a second opinion I took it to the shop that did all the work on my car from the GWC warranty repairs to the install of the suspension and BOV. They looked at the car and said the same thing that the TURBO needs to be replaced. They contacted GWC to file the warranty claim.

GWC responded 3 days later stating the my warranty is completely VOID do to the SUSPENSION and BOV upgrade. They stated that my car is no longer covered because on that, which is strange because they have done warranty work on the car while these pieces were installed. I contacted GWC over the phone to ask them what happen? DOMINIC told me there is nothing they can do and that my car is not covered even if the agent told me it was OK.

They said they see it in the notes but they gave me the wrong information. I specific paid for the best warranty available and added the extra charge for covering the TURBO because the salesperson let me know that the TURBO on the BMW 335 are known to need replacement around the 70-90k mileage mark.

I spoke to both BMW and the repair shop and they have advised me that neither BOV or SUSPENSION upgrades could have cause this in a car that is rarely driven, this can be verified by the mileages.I have to now pay the repair shop $3600 out of pocket to repair after paying $2840 for an extended warranty on the car.

There are three levels if your manufacture warranty is expired. They do offer and ultra package of your car is still under warranty.
GWC are complete ripoffs, they want you to use there garage, used parts, only tow 10 miles you pay out of pocket for the rest. Rental car forget that they want you to pay then they will reimburse! Haha don't wait on that to happen
They try anything possible to blame the break down on the consumer!
Save your money and time don't buy from them!

GWC is a total ripoff. The company only has three levels of coverage and only uses used parts. You have to fight with them to cover anything. Thier staff is rude and lies through thier teeth. My car has a bad transmission and the company only wants to put a used one in it. Oh yeah they gave authorazation to tear it down for diagnoses, then lied and said they did not. Girl who authorized it was Patti. Liars and thieves. I am filing a lawsuit because it does not state anywhere that you have to take it to thier shop only to a certified repair shop. Try questioning these folks on stuff and watch how quick they get defensive.

Sir, you are wrong. There are 5 levels of coverage offered by GWC as of this year. Also, the dealer is suppose to give the consumer a copy of the warranty, and if he or she doesn't shame on them.

According to a brochure I just got two hours ago from a used car dealer from whom I am purchasing a car, it seems this company has five levels of plans, from basic powertrain, to Standard, to Comprehensive, to Ultra, and Ultra Wrap. For the above warning to be valid we would have to know which plan was purchased. Back of brochure says:" This brochure is not a contract or a service agreement. It provides only a generally summary of the coverages available through GWC. The vehicle Protection Plan will vary according to the coverage selected. For detailed information, please refer to the contract application for coverages, terms, and conditions." The rant above is lacking in any specifics!

This complaint would be much more effective if it were legible. That is my only comment.
