I can rent it for as long as you want.
I will gladly sign the contract with you if we can reach an agreement. As I explained in the previous email, I live in Ireland . Unfortunately, I don't have any friends or other person back in U.K. who could arrange a viewing with you. In order to make the rental process easier for both of us, I would like to use HomeAway.com as they are currently managing my property.
They will require the two month's rent + one month holding deposit, to be deposited with HomeAway.
You will be contacted by HomeAway and will receive their payment details with the warranty for your deposit. After you make the payment deposit to HomeAway, you will be contacted by an HomeAway agent to agree on a suitable date and time to view the property.
Upon viewing the property, if you decide to rent it, the HomeAway agent will provide you with the rental contract which you can sign on the spot. If you decide to sign and move in, HomeAway will release the payment to my account 30 days after your move in date, all this time your money will stay with HomeAway.
If, however you decide not to rent it your one month's rent payment+ deposit will be fully refunded, they won't charge you a penny.

In this way HomeAway will handle the money and the keys so as to ensure a smooth processing.

I have been one of the unfortunate ones to apply for a job that was a scam to steal my personal details!

I think a website as big as gumtree should be able to keep track and have more of a professional approach to what goes on on there site!

How can they let scammers post a job advertisement on there website and scam there own customers!

There should security steps that need to be passed or met before allowing someone to post a job advertisement that way there wouldn't be unfortunate events like this happening to innocent people.

I am sure I am not the first or will I be the last to have complained about this!

I cannot add more photos to my adds... I keep trying on different days... Have full internet... Gumtree would not post all my photos on add in first place... Very frustrating... Wont be able to sell items if no pics posted of them...
Also, when adds expire, and we repost, the new add does not go to top of first page... It should not show how long add has been in originally if reposted...

Hi, Yesterday I put an add up on Gumtree to sell my puppies. I have Breeder identification number also known as Supply Number. The person who approves it keeps rejecting it when I cover all areas. How do I go about getting my add approved. There are puppies forsale on Gumtree all the time. This is the 1st time using gumtree and I'm quiet upset when I have all the info you need

Absolutely disgusted with gumtree customer service, I only just opened my account & when I was posting my ads were removed straight away. I emailed asking why & this was the response I got

Such a rude reply to a question I had when I had done nothing wrong.
This customer service stinks

We purchased a caravan in good faith and as advertised was a good starter caravan.
Seller 82r1703w35zfv Mandy. Ad ID [protected].
Upon getting it to a storage yard we registered it with Cris, promptly insured it and arranged for a full service.
It was serviced this morning and unfortunately it was discovered to be in a seriously bad condition, severe wet rot which had been botched up to hide any visible problems. We were advised it should be scrapped as not safe.
We are extremely angry as first time buyers of a caravan that we should have been duped in such a way.
Although it may not have been a large amount of money, to us it was.
We do not know what the policy is of Gumtree in such circumstances, but we felt that we should complain about our experience.

I posted an ad on Gumtree looking for a house to rent and someone called Kelly Baghurst got in touch. After emailing back and forth about 'her' property, she had sent me a tenancy agreement which had a nonexistent address, couldn't call her because she made up a health problem and after looking into her on social media and other sources, found out the property is not owned by her and she is taking exsisting pictures from other properties advertised on estate agents' websites, which is also data theft. Here I want to mention regarding I-phone 6s which my husband bought on 26/09/2018 from gumtree for me $185.Next day When
i tried to start after put my sim card it didn't work because the phone was asking about previous apple id and password.We called that person the phone was switched off and it is continuously going on.So this is unexpected and disappointing for us.

We advertised a job vacancy late September. The advert could not be found, except with a link sent from your customer services department, though we did just get one CV emailed through from India!

I contacted Customer Services within 2 days and was simply provided a link to reach the advert! Customer Services Ref below

We have since placed a further FREE advert with Indeed, and received 16 applicants within 12 hours, filling the vacancy easily.

We feel that your service was very poor and are requesting a full refund! I have deactivated my account too! I am also finding it very difficult to send in this complaint!

I purchased a pair of ray ban sunglasses from jack d odlin (ad id [protected]) who resides in cults, aberdeen, for £43.50. (inclusive of postage) on 15 september and paid by online bank transfer to his bank (sort code 80-45-86, acc no [protected]).
I have yet to receive the sunglasses and he is ignoring my calls and texts (his mobile: [protected]). Last week I even provided him with my bank details and pay pal id, requesting a refund.
I would like : a full refund or the sunglasses posted to me asap
: to report him for fraudulent activity

Regarding about my issue on my sony vio laptop that was stolen online by gumtree enquiry he mentioned me to send the laptop to the address given to me online before ghe payment transfer but did not happen I did not get payed for my laptop I am so disappointed that I will not use gumtree again because it's a big risk to u and others getting their items thieft

You are advertising a flat to let with my address! I have not not placed this advert. Please see advert below. I have had people at my door and intend to call the police. It's terrible! How can you allow this? I have also found it impossible to call you. It seems you allow any advert without checking?

In the beginning of September 2018, I had engaged the services of a person by the name of Alex (Cell no. [protected] or [protected]) to fix my fridge. He quoted R400 for re-gassing. He arrived at my home and had a look at the fridge and said there was something else wrong and he would charge a further R300 to which I agreed. He advised that the repair is guaranteed for six months.
The fridge worked for two weeks and then packed up. I got hold of Alex and he advised he will come over and make good the repairs. I had made many calls to him and received numerous promises from him to no avail. This guy, who is a foreigner, is a scam artist and cannot be trusted. please people, out there, take heed of my bad experience and stay away from people like this.

I was looking for a kitten to buy for my mother's birthday. I found a seller very close to where we live and went to view the cat and meet the seller. I explained my situation that the kitten is for a special occasion and the seller assured me that she is happy to sell the kitten to me to make sure I have my present for my mother (in four days time). We agreed that the kitten will be brought over by the seller next Wednesday at which point we will pay for it. The seller asked for a deposit which I intended to give but misplaced my purse so offered to make a PayPal transfer as this safest. At that point the seller said that no deposit is needed. I left the seller some Italian chocolate as an act of good gesture and a small deposit for the cat. It was confirmed to me on a text message this same evening that the seller and her partner are happy to sell the kitten to me. I asked many times if there were other buyers whom the seller would prefer and was told that I am the only buyer as she would prefer her kitten to go to a female buyer. Contacting the seller in two days time to make a time arrangement for the kitten to be brought over the seller informed me that the kitten is being viewed by another person who previously paid the deposit and she is the priority, thus the cat was sold and the gumtree advert removed. I enquired as to why I was deceived regarding our verbal agreement yet the seller blanked out this part and stopped replying. We were treated innan abysmally humiliating way especially that I asked many times if the seller is happy to sell the kitten to me in time for my mother's birthday. This is dishonest behaviour and I would like to ask the gumtree to have this seller removed and not allowed to trade in the future. Photos of our communication can be added if needed

I came off, of gumtree, because, I had been scam, and the police were involved, and the fraud team, I try to get back on, to advertise, I am a private person, not a business adverts, I have try endless times, to get back on there, and they said just click on activate, and I could not do it, I am fed up with gumtree, not sorting it out, in your category, the complaint about this firm, ie gumtree does not come up, so I put other, I have been with gumtree for for 9 years, and I find they are not helping me, what so ever, all I want to do is get back on there, to put some adds on, that simple. Recently I have tried to advertise my motor home on Gumtree using my account set up under my email address [protected]@hotmail.com. However, each time I posted an advert it was removed, resulting in me spending hours trying to find out why it was being removed.

After several unsuccessful postings I contacted Gumtree customer services via the contact form only to be emailed the very distasteful email below in which I have been wrongly accused of breaking Gumtree's terms and conditions. I have spent time researching the terms and conditions and have since posted the very same advert under my husband's email account with no further complaints from Gumtree.

Gumtree are refusing to answer any further queries from myself as to why and how I have broken their rules and regulations leaving me very upset at being accused of something I haven't done. The only suggestion I have is that my account has been misused by hackers? Please could you investigate the above on my behalf and advise me how this issue can be resolved as I feel deeply saddened by the accusation and decision of banning me from Gumtree.

I am the seller. I was contacted by a very good scammer. Fake PayPal ID, and persistent. They claim to have paid for the item plus $350 postage, which I was to refund. I have contacted PayPal head office and they are looking into it. I just wanted to let you know in case someone else gets caught out. They have sent numerous emails. I was first contacted via phone text, asking for my email address. Once they received this, they sent many.Regards Angela

Why does Gumtree actively promote Massage Venues that offer sexual services, yet blocks genuine companies that work strictly within their licence, just offering purely massage? Over 50% of the companies we contacted in London offering massage came back with offers ranging from happy ending to full service, yet legitimate Massage Shops like Thai Angels offering just pure massage are blocked with no reason given. The venue concerned has 4.8 stars out of 5 on all the main websites ranging from Treatwell to Tripadvisor, yet they have been blocked by Gumtree to prevent them advertising, without any reason! Initially Gumtree apologised for taking monies and then refusing advertising without refunding the money or giving ANY reason as to their actions. This is criminal and should not be allowed, they refuse to even look at the internet to see the fantastic reviews given by mainly women on this venue
