Gulf Air giving business to dodgy company mytrip uk.com desk and me £2,100 and me and my kids and my family is suffering

Hi there I just want to raise a complain against mytrip uk.com company number is 02081444417they took deposit of me me and they cancel my ticket and they're meant to be refunding me and they still not referred me it's been 2 months so my concern is that I don't understand why gulf airline giving them no business the why didn't helping me out to to get my refund and also I need to raise a complaint I don't understand how many other people have been cheating all of the issue my kids and my family we are going through a lot of stressed and we been suffering and messed up all our holidays I don't understand why you let them trade and were kind of Customer Services there they're not refunding me and scamming around so I have been worked over 2 years to save up money and plan for those holidays and they took in one minute all my money and not giving me refund and you need to understand where I'm coming from and really getting my refunded sort it out thank you for understanding

Mr. Zan Haider is a fraud himself his other names are Zain Asgher, William Adam.
he's using 3 different names and soon he will regret all these comments and reviews hes making for the company as we are going to sue him legally.

he tried to scam with the company but there is a thing called KARMA.
now he's stuck in the middle the company does not have his amount as the Bank has closed their trading account permanently.

Gulf Air damaged luggage

Dear Mr Syed,

I would like to raise complaints about your staff and how they dealt with me and my family.

On the evening of Friday 29th March 2019, I went to take a flight with my family. I was checking my luggage in, all within weight of each luggage's allowance. Your supervisor on duty was rude and abrupt and when I asked to speak to his manager he said no one was available. When I asked for his name, he refused to give this, instead his rudeness continued. He had no name badge on. I can describe that he was an Asian male, slim with glasses.

The Supervisior went to explain that I was not permitted to use these cases what were bold in colour. I stayed only the Friday before I had dropped two families off to the airport with the same type of bag. I asked the supervisor to show me where it states that on my email of luggage allowance. He pulled out a picture from behind the desk and showed me. However my bag was not in the picture. I suggested getting it wrapped, to which he stated he will not allow the baggage to get checked in. I asked him why and he stated it is because gulfair do not allow these sort of baggage.

He stated that I had to go and purchase suitcases from the shop at the airport and told me where these shops were.

I had to purchase three suitcase, as two suitcases would not fit the shape of some of my items. I have enclosed a picture of each of the suitcase I purchased that evening, these were the most affordable ones I could purchase there was nothing cheaper.

Now what happened because I had to purchase the 3rd suitcase (in total that cost me £260) it meant that I had to purchase and extra luggage for some of £109.70.

I feel your supervisor misled me to purchase suitcases and luggage, when gulfair did accept them.

I actually took pictures of other passengers with exactly the same bag travelling with the same airline.

When I eventually reached Dhaka airport, only to find, the suitcase had been cut open with a knife and the handle had been ripped as well as other damages, the hard case had a massive dent on the corner of it. I spoke to the supervisor, who was reluctant to open an investigation. He merely gave me his card and told me to contact him. I wanted an investigation to be opened up. I took pictures of these damages. When I got to London Heathrow, I spoke to Mr Dhanji who directed me to you. I showed the two suitcase that had been damaged on the way to Bangladesh and the other two being damaged on the way back to UK.

1) I would like to know if there is an ombudsman who over see complaints?

2) what is you complaint process?

3) I want a full refund, of suitcases and extra luggage I had to purchase, as I was mislead to purchasing this. I also have proof other passengers had the same bags for your airline.

4) the damages caused by your airlines has meant I am no longer able to use these suitcase.

I have kept the 4 suitcases as evidence. As I intend to take this matter all the way.

I would like to be compensated for my financial loss.

Since 29.3.19 I have continuously complained, face to face, over the phone and email and no one replies.

I want to take this to matter to the ombudsman’s service. But Gulfair have continuously ignored me. It’s disgusting the service they have given.

Gulf Air poor service and false connection

Abdul Basit Ansari, purchased a GF ticket for the sector Mumbai - Bahrain - Dammam. (ticket attached)

The flight was scheduled for 06th April from Mumbai. Departure was at 06:25 pm

The flight was to reach Bahrain 07:25 pm and it reached on time.

From Bahrain I had a connection to Dammam at 08:35 pm

However, inspite the Gulf Air flight form Mumbai reached Bahrain on time but since GF overbooked the flight from Bahrain to Dammam myself and other 21 passengers were strangled at Bahrain airport.

We were forced to board a bus from Bahrain to Dammam although we purchased a flight ticket.

The above scenario was acceptable but this harassment did not stop there.

Upon enquiry with the GF staff at Bahrain airport, a lady (very very rude) was not ready to answer our questions and was treating us like animals.

The only option is by Bus and the Bus is scheduled at 02:00 am the next day.

Her reply was like she was doing a favor on us by providing us the Bus service.

I did not expect this service by GF staff.

Upon repeated enquiry, we were told that if we keep enquiring, they will file a case against us and will arrest us in a lock up.

After an argument of 4 hours we were given a Bus.

Then this also not ended here, the driver took us to his office, there a new driver was given the charge of the Bus.

We reached the King Fahad Cause Way and cleared the Bahrain immigration.

Then we cleared the Saudi immigration but then the driver was not ready to drive the bus any further.

Upon enquiry, he told that he don't have Saudi Visa…. Strange…

He told us that he is waiting for a driver from Saudi and once the driver come he will take us to customs and then to the bus stand in Dammam or Rakah.

There we waited for another 1 and half hour, just for the driver……

Finally the driver came and we reached our bus stand at 4:45 am

Although we had arrangements for our pick up from Dammam Airport.

Now please explain the below grievances:

Gulf Air baggage

Lost baggage with Gulf Air since April 24, 2019.
My wife Safura Salih traveled on Wednesday 24 April 2019 from Calicut to Dammam via Bahrain, Saudi Arabia on Gulf Air Flight No. GF261.
Booking reference KVGOSN
Baggage tag: GF234057 (lost)
Passenger Name: Safura Salih

She was carrying 3 checked-in baggage. Two were allowed with the ticket and the third one was purchased paying extra baggage charges at Calicut Airport during check-in. (receipt attached).
The trip from Bahrain to Dammam was arranged by road and customs and immigration is to be done at King Fahd Causeway to Dammam.
She had collected all three bags and handed them over to the staff while waiting for the bus that was a few hours from the arrival time.
She realized missing baggage at King Fahd Causeway customs. The driver apologized for not loading and called to ensure it is in the Bahrain airport.
At the final destination in Dammam, The Bus deport for Gulf Air we lodged complained to the attendant there. They had arranged the baggage the next day that has come to Dammam Airport 60 km away. We went to collect it at Dammam airport. Surprisingly we received only two pieces out of three! We had a missing carton that we purchased paying an extra baggage fee.
The airport sent a message to Bahrain to send the missing piece.
There was no update from Dammam airport where they said they will contact us as soon as the missing piece arrives. We kept calling and the answer was not received yet.

Gulf Air lost luggage

My mother boarded from qassem to bahrain to karachi on 24 april at 5: 35 am by GF 752...after landing she was unable to find her one luggage out of the two...its been 3 days we are trying but unable to get any response...at the same time there were 2 more passangers who were unable to get their luggage...please tell us how much have you processed or any information because we are very worried about it..

Gulf Air from baggage, some personal things stolen.

Hi,

On 4th april, I traveled from karachi to dammam via bahrain (connecting flight),
I submitted my baggage at karachi airport while check-in, and I received that baggage from dammam airport, but when I reach at my room, and open the baggage, my some thing I can not found.
I think, but not sure, missed thing stolen by porter, while shifting baggage's from one flight to an other connecting flight.

Kindly help in this regard, to get it back.

Gulf Air return tickets

I made a round trip booking (DUBAI-Bahrain-Sharks el Sheikh and return Sharm El Sheikh-Bahrain-DUBAI) and then Gulf Air canceled return flight Sharm El Sheikh-Bahrain. And company informed me about this cancellation before 2 days from my trip. I agreed to make my return way 3-4 hours longer and make one one more step in Cairo (Sharm El Sheikh - Cairo-Bahrain-DUBAI) and sent complaint. Complaint number is [protected]! It was made 7 days ago! And till now there is no any update! How this airlines can still offer them services if they really don't care about customer?!

Gulf Air ticket refund

I had to cancel my ticket because of unfortunate circumstances. I have been trying to get a refund. Particulars of my ticket are:

I was first told that a refund was issued on the 31st of January, and I could expect my refund in 10 - 15 days. When the time passed and I did not see a credit posted to my credit card account, I contacted Gulf Air again. This time I was advised that my refund was processed on the 13th February, and it would take 10 - 15 days for the refund to get posted to my credit card account. To date that has not happened.
When I contact Customer Care by email, I get the standard reply that my email has been sent to the appropriate department and that someone would contact me at their earliest. No such luck.
I would like to know if Gulf Air has the particulars of my credit card so they can post the refund. I would also like to know when I could expect that to happen.

Gulf Air twice deducted money; asking to refund the extra deduction

I booked ticket for my father Mr. Rajkumar Thangaraj on 7th Sep with the travel date on 15th October 2018 the booking ID #1093395 at Gulf air from Chennai to Jeddah and the amount of 15, 743 INR was deducted from my account at that time.
Later by evening I received the another SMS from my bank that the amount of 15, 787 INR was deducted again.
Plz help in this matter to refund the extra amount deducted rehalt international booking services agency.

Gulf Air not issuing boarding pass in transit

I was traveling from Riyadh to Hyderabad via Bahrain on 08-06-2018, at riyadh air port they issued a only one boarding pass for Riyadh to Bahrain on Flight # GF 168 and informed that i can collect the other boring pass at Bahrain for Flight # GF 274 to Hyderabad, the flight departure time was 20:20 and I was waiting at the boarding counter, the counter was opened at 20:15 and upon reaching they told me that the actual flight has cancelled & they ranged another flight and my name was not checked in that so they gave me an another flight boarding pass for next day, and there is no proper intimation before until we asked the staff, and I am worried about my baggage which was checked in at riyadh airport and supposed to be collected at Hyderabad airport.

Gulf Air the receiving and attendance general service / poor customer care & overcharging even if mistake is not from customer

I would like to inform you as one of the customers that I am not happy with the service rendered, on 22nd I had my flight which was supposed to be be from kenya to Bahrain via KQ & gulf air due to the heavy rain I arrived at the airport made a line and I ask one security to allow me in as I had one 1hr to boarding time 2145hrs & I was not allowed,
Once I reached the counter it was still open the lady who was at the counter checked me in printed buggage sticker and still I had 35mnts to boarding time 2225hrs to my suprised she spoke to one of her workmate Valarie and she said, she is not taking me with the luggage & she left.
When I went to customer service desk I was sent to counter NO1 the lady by the name Valentine told me she can change for me the flight now it was 25mnts remaining 2235hrs & she adviced me I will only pay service charge around $40 yet they are the ones taking me here and there.
They sent me where the calculation was to be done & they changed my flight on the second note I paid $140 I was pissed off but because I had no option I paid.
So it came yesterday 23rd my flight should be at 2200hrs I over stayed there until 2335hrs
Plane took off landed late 0715hrs in Dubai & I had 0800hrs flight gulf air the check in counter is closed but being that staff in dubai understand they made a call as I had duty by 1300hrs checked me in and I arrived in Bahrain without my bugagges all this is due to kenya airways poor customer service yet they took money no apology or anything.
Could u kindly look into my case if something can be done as I am not happy the way I was treated and yet I had to pay extra charges.

Gulf Air no refund for a cancelled flight ticket number: [protected]

On 12th September 2015 I booked a flight from Abu Dhabi to Dammam on Gulf Air, via Opodo. I cancelled within an hour (which required a telephone call to Opodo) as I found a more direct alternative.

Since then I have not received the refund. Opodo (many calls all at premium rate since they dont handle customer complaints be email) says the payment went directly to Gulf Air so they are responsible for the refund. This is borne out by my credit card statement.

Gulf Air says that refunds can only be issued by the travel agent I booked through. Neither company talks to the other leaving me stuck in the middle. They have been passing the buck back and forth for more than 9 months. Neither side disputes that I am owed a refund, they just deny responsibility for paying it.

In the mean time I am out of pocket by GBP437.20.

I did not book twice, only once - it would not have made sense to book the same flight twice. The route was very busy, your site was also quite slow, and I was booking from Abu Dhabi, so could have been an IT problem. In fact even before I called to cancel I got an email from Opodo saying that it was unable to confirm the booking. Thus even if by some glitch there had been two bookings, one was cancelled by phone and the other did not go through on your part. If that subsequently changed you never informed me. In any case, I made nearly 20 calls to your customer service line over the last 9 months. NONE of them mentioned anything about double booking, which casts some doubt over your claim.
I still insist that I am due a refund - neither Opodo nor Gulf Air have ever disputed that over numerous emails and phone calls. The issue is that each side passes the buck to the other, leaving me in the middle with nothing.

Thanks for posting your review and bringing this issue to our attention.

We would like to inform you that we have checked your case and we have found that on September 10th, you made the same booking twice and you contacted us to cancel one of them. This booking was correctly cancelled and not charged by the airline. However, the amount you are claiming corresponds to the ticket not cancelled and not used. In this case, the refund will be done as per fare rules.

Gulf Air damaged goods in cargo.

Dear sir,

As i'm Liabled to inform you, that i have traveled in Bahrain airlines in the date of 01/04/2016.. while travelling i have came with my 40' inches LG LED LF570T Television . ..after arrival, I have noticed that my television has been broken.. therefore i raised an complaint in the airport and regarding air service.. But i hadn't got any response for that ...so i request you to take any actions immediately .. or else i have to take further actions .. and i'm gonna sue your company for that.

Gulf Air ground staff rude and insulting at delhi airport flight gf 135 ref pjrxdg 27feb at 2130

I flew London to Delhi with one stop in Bahrain. At Heathrow had no problem as a checked on weight with the company over the phone. My ticket said 40kg, so did clarified with them that it was that it was 40kg +hand luggage, they said No I can take 50kg in suitcases +7kg in hand luggage. I was pleasantly surprised.
So on 14h Feb I took 2 suitcases and a hand luggage. At heathrow they even checked in my hand luggage so carried a little purse. No problem really.

But on my way back on 27th Feb at Delhi I got there nice and earl 5pm with same weight, I was the first customer in the que, everybody else came after. A young man on the right hand desk who was dealing with me was so rude, I couldn't believe it. They asked me to leave one suitcase full of clothes behind and I'm only allowed one suitcase.
I told them that I don't have anybody else with me I had traveled from Punjab on a bus but they showed no sympathy. I explained to then that I had carried same amount of weight on my way to India they didn't care.
A similar age girl/women joined him she was even worse she was laughing in face.
I was there from 5pm until 8.30pm I went backward and forward 5 times to check in. It was like they were asking me to pay them cash for themselves to check me in. I explained very calmly that I have a regular job and don't have lots spare money. They didn't care, they were laughing in my face. At times they were talking infront of me about me in Hindi and laughing. They thought I didn't spoke any Hindi. I didn't know what to do I was a customer, they were incharge, they had all he power over me and they used their power to the full. It was very clear that they were not going to let me through without me paying them, it was like they were working together.
After 5 times backward and forward they let me through with 35kg including my hand luggage. I was the last customer to be checked in on that flight. I had to throw away 22kg of my personal belongings because I didn't pay the check in staff to put money in their own pockets. The female was the same who was at the flight gate, who boarded the flight.

The staff at the desk laughed in my face. They humiliated me infront of every on else, They were rude, they insulted me, they disrespected me, They wanted money for their own pockets.

I could not think what to do apart from throwing my good thins away because I didn't have any money to give them. All this treatment had made me ill. Since I come back I haven't been able to do anything, I feel depressed, ashamed of my own country.

I have flown around the world with different airlines, I fly to India once a year at least some times more. I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED ANY THING LIKE THIS TREATMENT WITH ANY OTHER AIR LINE STAFF.

I run my own business and I know how to treat a customer but I am horrified of the treatment that I received at Delhi Airport from GULF Airline STAFF. After this experience I feel I will never be recommending to anybody or flying with Gulf Airline again.

Gulf Air due to delay in 1st flight my connecting flight is missed and then I am ill treated with no real compensation for their mistake

I had a Gulf Air flight at 6.20pm on 9th Jan from Mumbai to Bahrain but it got delayed more than 1 hour i.e. finally took off at around 7.50pm (Delay of 1.5hours). I had a connecting flight from Bahrain to Abu Dhabi at 8.40pm but got missed due to this delay from Gulf Air. I had to wait unnecessarily for 5 hours as I was given seat in flight at 1.30am next day (4hrs 50 mins later). As I was flying with my 2.5yrs old daughter & wife at later in evening, I asked for providing us lounge access so that my daughter can take enough rest, however the ground staff were rude enough and turned my request down. I asked to provide a upgrade to Business Class in connecting flight so that my family can take rest, however even that request was turned down even though there were seats available in Business class. As a compensation for making my 6 hours journey to almost 12 hour I was given a restricted meal at a restaurant. Even the restaurant people were rude enough and even though it was almost empty did not allow my family to sit a bit longer to take some rest. Overall a pathetic experience with Gulf Air and I guess I will never ever travel with Gulf Air in my life. I am sure that flight staff could have done better by treating me better but they even did not acknowledged their mistake by simple words "Apologies for inconvenience caused".

Gulf Air inefficient systems

I am a Nationalised Bank manager, repatriated from Bahrain on 10th November, 2015. I booked unaccompanied baggage through gulf air, which reached Shamsha bad, Hyderabad Airport on 13th November. I was told by gulf air to collect my baggage on 16th November. I reached the airport at 10 am on 16th and got the delivery order note from gulf air within 5 minutes. After that the Indian customs took the whole day upto 6 pm but did not deliver my goods. Though I pleaded them and met all high officials including Assistant Commissioner, they did not help me. Airport being 60 kms away from my residence, I had to spend lot of money and time for travelling. my whole day was lost. After submitting the declaration former, i got the job no.174836 generated but hey are not able to generate a token or btd. Since 11 am they could not generate but they have not raised any complaint to the concerned to fix the issue. Their argument was systems or server failure. No BCP is ensured. I do not know if it's due to their high corruption, they were expecting some bribe to handover my baggage or what made them to hold back from giving my baggage is a question unanswered. Again they said they will charge me for demourage charges for late picking of my luggage. It's very unreasonable and unethical. Can I get justice ? Is there a grievance cell of Indian Customs? Gulf Air harassment while boarding the flight on 13th april 2015 from kuwait airport

Dear Sir,
Sub: Harassment while boarding the flight on 13th APR 2015 from Kuwait AirPort.
I, Usmanullah, was travelling from Kuwait to Delhi by your air ways on 13th APR, at 18:20 hrs. I purchased few items at Duty free shop in Kuwait Airport & while boarding the flight, at the entrance of flight, your staff rudely said I cannot take my hand luggage as Cabin Baggage & he want to put the same in the Luggage. My hand luggage was within the specified limits, but your staff was adamant & inspite of my request that I had my personnel valuable belongings in it, he put my cabin luggage in cargo compartment & gave me luggage slip.
When I landed at Delhi, I did not receive my luggage, it’s surprising that your staff did not loaded & I lost my valuable items & caused me huge loss. At Delhi Airport, I have lodged complained about missing Luggage.
If Duty free items which I bought with in the legal frame cannot be taken as Cabin Luggage, why don’t you close the duty free shops? Now I request you to take strong action on your rude staff & compensate me for the heavy loss incurred to me. I am waiting for your earliest reply & compensation package.

Gulf Air poor customer services at desk

One of the worst ground level customer desk services. I was travelling from London Heathrow T4 to Bahrain on flight no GF 2. I checked in online and went to drop my baggage at drop desk. At baggage drop desk, they took more than one hour to accept my baggage on board. They did not have any one to read expiry date written in Arabic on my traveling documents.

I have shown my disagreement to wait so long but they were very rude and had inappropriate response gesture . Anyway after more than hour, a lady came and confirmed the expiry date written on my travel documents and finally accepted my baggage; but lady at the ticket desk did not bother to regret about the inconvenience caused by them.
