Guardian Products Incorporated / Warranty is just SCAM
Paid $600 for this Warranty service for the furniture we bought at a store called Prestige Furniture (unfortunately out of business, no surprise, and now with many online complaints about scam also), they convinced us to get the warranty because it covers "all accidental damage" and it's hassle free. Well in four years, we did not submit a claim until now that we had damage done to our leather sofa after a kid's party. I filed a claim and after 2 hours on the phone with Guardian, they denied my claim because it had too many spots of damage. (6 By the way) and nowhere on the Guardian pamphlet did it say any specifications to the amount of spots of damage, then I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to pass me to a manager, they told me that I would receive a form via email to dispute the denial. As soon as I received it, I filled the form and submitted all the pictures. Then some lady with the name Unet very rude by the way, called me with a very rude tone to tell me (as if enjoying) that they received my pictures and form and that my claim was denied again and the case was closed and said goodbye, and then I said wait wait tell me why? and she said because we do not cover faded spots, and I said well there are no faded spots, and then she said well then we deny it then because there are too many damages on the couch. So if it wasn't one made up reason it would have been another, they just want to deny regardless, no intention to help no intention to come and look in person. It is pure scam, since I first made a phone call to file a claim, they were extremely defensive, I knew right away that they were going to deny regardless they will come up with any reason stated or not stated in their pamphlet. They are a money making scam company. If and when there is a class action lawsuit I will like to know to join, or perhaps I will inquire on how to start one.
