Two weeks ago my dog peed all over the leather sofa. Called, claimed within an hour of the incident. They said they would have to talk to corporate and get back to me. Today, I called back, checking in on the status (because I hadn't heard from them) only to find out they contacted corporate right after getting off of the phone with me for the second time. I've been in touch with them all day, finding out more: they won't give me corporate's number to speak with a higher-up, nor do they know if they can help me, even though in the warranty for my couch "pet fluids" is covered. Shady, shady business practices. Trying to get a refund on the warranty, seeing if this will go over as badly as this whole fiasco has.

I had bought an expensive sectional sofa, and have a Guardian Protection Plan on it. I had contacted them for cleaning the sofa due to an accidental spill of a beverage. I provided pictures, a sales reciept of the sofa, my policy with the policy number, and after almost a month- they still have not told me when or if they are coming to clean my sectional. My sectional is off white, so the stains are very noticable and I do not have the time to continually try to contact this company. They make it so difficult, and frustrating. I got this plan because I wanted peace of mind when choosing a light colored fabric. But Guardian is NOTHING but FRUSTRATION.

What a joke. They gave us a technicians number that said guardian canceled the claim and guardian says the technicians canceled the claim. Both ends lying and blaming each other until we freak out. Bad mind games they play on innocent people. May the Wrath of God convict them of their sinful business.

Purchased the Guardian Warranty Insurance for $199.00 when we purchased new furniture from Mattress Land and Furniture in Kingman Az. after checking out Guardian on the internet and reading all the complaints I canceled the insurance on March 11, 2016, before they even delivered the furniture. By the way you can't cancel by phone you have to send a letter stating "why". I sent them 7 pages of complaints I had printed off my pc I received a phone call from them telling me they had received my letter. I said " I know, I sent it Certified and I have the receipt back that you signed." After waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes why she was checking on things she said they would send me a full refund. It is now April 16, 2016 and still have received nothing. Time for another phone call I guess.

I purchased this useless Warrenty when I bought $6889.99 worth tips furniture from Bel furniture . I have had nothing but problems with the rpfurniture and guardian. The leather on my chair sofa and love seat is losing its color. I called guardia. And they said its not covered and refered me to the store where I ourchased it from. I did that and bel furniture cam out and spray painted my furniture. Can you believe that! In all my life I have never seen leather furniture lose its color and to have someone come out and spray paint it is just beyond me. Recently the king size bed frame I purchased with everything else broke. The dpside rise split on the bottom while my 11 year old daughter was watch TV. I called guardian and guess what? It's not covered because it to didn't happen accidentally . I ask what they would call that then and they said normal weeper and tear. REALLY ! How can that not be an accident? I filed a complaint with the BBB on both companies. guardian has yet to satisfy me with a full refund of their worthless Warrenty but Bel furniture did replace the side rail at no cost to me so I have nothing but good things to say about Be
. Guardian on the other hadn't is worthless. I can't imagine they will cover anything that anyone submits. When you spend $500.00 on a Warrenty you expect that Warrenty to be there when you need it. I will be filling a complaint with the attorney general. And I recommend everyone here do the same to protect anyone else from being misled into purchasing this worthless Warrenty.

Guardian Furniture Protection is an absolute joke. If you are presented with an opportunity to take part in this warranty program, save yourself the $80, or whatever it is, and DON'T. This company is located in North Carolina. They will not "fix" your furniture. I tried to make 3 separate claims about small scratches/stains on my couch, to no avail. The excuses I heard were: "Sorry sir, but we don't cover stains made by a ballpoint pen" and "Sorry sir, but a tear on the seam is a manufacture's defect, and isn't covered under our warranty." lastly, "Sorry sir, but we do not cover tears in cloth, only in leather." These women who work for Guardian will give you the opposite scenario of the one you gave them, and tell you that's the one they only cover. This is, by far, THE WORST "WARRANTY" COMPANY I have ever been in contact with. I would rather take a punch to the face than try to make a claim with guardian (it's less abuse). I finally got a representative to offer me a refund for my warranty. I accepted. I FAXED paperwork to Guardian the next day. It is now 3 months later... I'm writing this review within minutes of my last (hopefully) conversation with Guardian, during which I was told: "We will refund your warranty for a pro-rated amount of $57.". I told the lady that the representative who advised me to send the refund paperwork told me I would have the refund in full. To which she replied that $57 was all she had been authorized to refund me. I asked her if I could speak to the supervisor who gave her that authorization. To which, she replied: "They aren't available, they just left for a meeting.".

I cannot truly express the anger and frustration I have endured through my experiences with this company. NOTHING IS EASY. THEY WILL NOT HONOR YOUR WARRANTY. And, why would they? These are just a bunch of women sitting on phones in some dingy warehouse in North Carolina! What are you going to do about it? NOTHING. They have your money, and that's that. I'm so angry with this company. Excuse me, this is not a "company" (*allowing them to use that title is too much of a compliment*). GUARDIAN FURNITURE IS AN ABSOLUTE S C A M.

Here's a clue... if the pamphlet about your warranty coverage doesn't have a contact phone number on it, and you have to search the internet for the phone number... It's a joke. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE ANGUISH AND MONEY. DON'T BUY ANYTHING WITH "GUARDIAN" WRITTEN ON IT.

I am having a major issue with Guardian Furniture Protection. I tried calling 3 times and was put on hold for very long periods of time. When I actually got a customer representative she asked me very detail questions about my potential claim - my 5-year old daughter had put something on her dresser that took some of the paint off - and I wasn't sure exactly what caused this to happen (since I was not around at the time). Whatever I said must have been the wrong thing to say because she put me on hold for about 10 minutes before she hung up without telling me anything. I had to call back again and got a really nasty person that told me that my claim was denied. Apparently, I have to fill out a form to dispute the declining of my claim. I can't believe I have to do all of this just to get someone to come put paint back on my daughter's dresser. GUARDIAN FURNITURE PROTECTION IS A BIG RIP OFF. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY THEIR PROTECTION. THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPARENTLY ARE NOT WILLING TO HONOR YOUR CONTRACT WITHOUT A FIGHT. NEVER AGAIN!

This will more than likely end up frustrating you greatly. I worked as a sales rep for a furniture store that sold the service you purchased. Without question, their primary goal is to find a reason not to pay! Their first out is to claim you did not call in the claim within the required time frame. You were clearly diligent here. So they now will resort in hoping to frustrate you enough that you will give up and let it go. I don't have any helpful advice that will get you results. I reccommend you visit the store where you purchased, ask for a manager's assistance and have them work with guardian on your behalf to make good on its service. If the store has good customer service, they will help, and if they are given any runaround will feel obligated to refund the useless guarantee. Good luck.
