This company treats their employees horrible.
Two years ago I attended a trade show in Las Vegas and became a customer right away. In two years, I have had 4 different sales people due to employee turn over. I called this company about a month ago to place another order and found out that the sales person I had been working with has also left the company. Frustrated and confused I decided to call anonymously and get the story. It turns out, this company doesn't pay their employees well and the work load is too overbearing to handle. They have a President, and Vice President, a Vice President of Sales, a Director of Sales, a Sales Manager, and 4 sales people. It seems as if the 4 sales people get orders from all the managers above while the managers are sitting back and collecting. It looks very top heavy to me. Yellow Jacket, Inc is another Cable Protector manufacturer and they seem to have better prices and treat their employees with more respect. I am switching to Yellow Jacket so I can be sure that every time I call I can talk to the same person.

    I agree with the complaint above. I have been working with Checkers for years and it seems every other time I call in to their sales team, the person answering the phone is new and in training. When I ask for the employee I always work with the answer is always "They no longer work for our company". I don't buy much from Checkers Industrial partly because they never try and solve my problems. They think their products are the only safety products on the market and that is vastly changing. I don't agree with Checkers Industrial philosophy.
