Grove Dodge Unreturned $2000 deposit

My husband and I put a $2000 deposit on a Jeep Wrangler this past Sunday March .22... For reasons including poor customer care as well as financials we decided to back out of the deal.. Grove Dodge is refusing to give us back the deposit!
Would you allow someone to steal $2000 out of your pocket?
The worst is we just bought a 2013 dodge ram from them 2 years ago with a good experience and this is how they treat their repeat customers!
We are loyal dodge customers, and will continue to buy .
Please take your hard earned cash to a different dealership
We have been in contact with Dodge Canada head office, as well have started a claim with AMVIC..
Please don't make the same mistake

Grove Dodge New Vehicle

My sister in-law just pick up her new Jeep Compass tonight. The salesman did his best to do a proper vehicle inspection. However a number of visible defects were noted after my sister in-law bought her vehicle to my home to show us. The first thing I noticed was the 2 dents in the rear passenger side door. So I took a closer look and discovered numerous scares and paint chips. The front bumper had paint missing for about 13 inches along the passenger side. I can go on about the defects but that was only a small part of it. I went back to the dealership with my sister in-law to deal with the situation. Their attitude was, make an appointment and we will fix it. First of all the vehicle was only in her possession for 20 minutes. So why was an appointment necessary. These defects should have been noted and addressed before turning the vehicle over to my sister in-law. Second the sales manager (Charles) said and I quote: SHE SIGN THE PAPERS AND PAID FOR THE VEHICLE AND DROVE IT OF THE LOT. IT'S HERS NOW AND WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE( in short screw you). From previous dealing with Grove Dodge I knew that this was their attitude towards customers. Or as I like to refer to them as SREW'EM AND SCRAM GROVE DODGE... So to all who may read this stay away..Do not have any dealings with them...So to up date. There's about $3000 to $4000 damage that they say they will fix. They will have to replace the door in order to remove the dents (Like that's going to happen) They have not intention of compensating for the in convenience...So it's going to be interesting to see how long this whole issue takes to be resolved..

That is exactly what you get dealing with most Dodge/Chrysler dealerships. I am sorry to say this but I laughed when I read your post. I find it funny because I still do not know why people want to buy any of the Dodge/Chrysler products. Consumer's Report lists most of their models as the worst. Come on people educate yourself on the make, model and dealership prior to laying out your hard earned cash. To many of you buy only on price. When you buy the cheapest always expect to pay more later. Take it from a guy who worked in purchasing for 20 years. Grove Dodge you should be ashamed of yourself. How proud is your mother?

Grove Dodge Unreturned deposit

My husband and I went to purchase a vehicle and agreed on a certain set of terms. When we went to sign the papers they had us sign the bill of sale first, which seemed fine because the numbers looked right. The next page, however, was a shocker. They had added a year to our term and up the percentage rate and payment amount. We killed the deal and they won't return our deposit. Every entity that we have complained to has been lied to and each one has gotten a different story. I fortunately have a copy of all the lies and AMVIC has it all now. I encourage anyone with bad dealings with Grove Dodge to put in complaints to Chrysler Canada, AMVIC and the BBB. AMVIC holds the dealer licenses and has the power to hold them accountable. Don't let them get away with this anymore.

This dealership is nothing more than a bunch of low life criminals. they take every opportunity to steal every dollar that they can. in the 3 years i have been going there because they sold me my jeep. it has been impossible to get things done. jeep started burning insane amounts of oil documented by their tech's, at 40000. it took me 11 months 33 visits to the service department and 4 different service managers to final get them to actually look at the motor. since then i have only driven the jeep 300 km and its been back and forth to the dealer with more issues, the computer twice o2 senserors they just keep replacing the same parts instead of looking for the root cause. wake up guys something was done during the rebuild of the motor that is causing a short in the power. not to mention the one sales guy in the place can be heard over top of everybody and has nothing to say worth hearing, comments to the young ladies that work there, go make me a sandwich.
