We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Groupon.com refund

I ordered 2 tickets for whale watching and I call Groupon tonreasure that I have purchased them but when they told me that it was 48in advance to use the tickets so I kindly ask the representative to refund my money back for 45$...I've called about 3 times and I've talked to to the representatives and they've told me the same thing wait up to 10 days I've waited approximately 20 days and no refund yet I'm verry upset with the customer support that Groupon Caries...

If you purchased a groupon for a restaurant and it expired, the face value you paid for the Groupon does not expire and you can redeem it at the restaurant any time. If the business closes, you can say goodbye to your Groupon. They will never give you back your money. Beware of Groupon. They are thieves!

Groupon.com catalina flyer tickets

I purchased 2 Catalina Flyer tickets March 30, 2018 order # [protected] from Balboa pier. newport bch to Catalina Island. For the dates of Oct 12 2018 returning. Oct 15 2018 approx 7 months in advance as well as paid for.
I just recieved a alert notification from Catalina flyer today Oct 8 2018 stating their was an issue that caused ALL (CF) reservation to be cancelled and ro contact groupon for the remaining balance of my refund of which I customer support chatted with koheli k. he stated I could on redeem for something else they offered I advised the cancellation was do to CF not of myself. They therefore disconnected the call, I am not sure at this point who else I must contact for my parking through parkmobile all of which are paid in full.

Groupon.com payment not received

Hello,

I bought a hotel deal in Brussels for 169 Euro on groupon.be on 10th of June 2018. I saw that I have chosen the wrong options as I wanted to choose stay + dinner where I chose stay+massage. On the deal, It said that there is free cancellation before 48 hrs. So on 11 the of June, I cancelled this one and I bought the same deal but with options hotel+dinner. I called the customer service how to get the refund for the first purchase. They said that I need to get a confirmation from the hotel. I received the cancellation confirmation and forwarded to the customer service groupon.be. I got an automatic message that It will take 7 days to deal with the request. As the hotel booking was for 14th and 15th of June. So I waited these 7 days. When I contacted again the customer service replied that the stay date is already over. But I cancelled right time. After calls and several emails exchanges they agreed to refund the deal. But I have to wait 21 business days. I waited but there was still no refund. When I contacted the customer service again they replied that I have got it as ana credit on Groupon.be account. I wanted my money back to my credit card and I did not want to buy anything else from Groupon anymore. They agreed again to refund to my credit card asked me to wait another 21 days. After 21 days there is still no refund. I contacted again. I got the same email as I was refunded to Groupon account as a credit. I asked again to refund it as money to my credit card. So it has been almost 5 months and 20 emails exchanges. I am still waiting for another 14 days to get refunded. It is so annoying and frustrating to deal with Groupon customer service. There was a lot of automatically generated emails and there is no personal involvement and caring. After this kind of service, nobody wants to buy anything from Groupon including me. I am so angry and I want to find the way that others know about that how Groupon has poor customer service and treat customers with low respect.

I hope that your website will help me get refunded as soon as possible and other people see this kind of complaints.

Groupon.com customer service availability

I have spent hours in the last week trying to contact chat/customer service for this company. It is near impossible to make contact with a human about any transaction good or bad and should not be so. Any company that takes peoples money should take a clear and present responsibility of its products/subscribers/advertisers. Any quality or financial issues with customer service should be visibly accessible by anyone. I have spent hours over the last week trying to find the company "advertised" chat they offer and only found it by accident and now can't find it again. I have had two recent issues with two advertisers without satisfaction. First was a duct cleaning service that was very poor and not worth the money or effort to experience. Groupon ask my review and I told them exactly what happened...without any feedback/results/satisfaction at all. Second was Presidential Carpet cleaning svcs. I never received the service because I was out of there area. I accidentally found the chat site, they cheerfully gave credit a week ago but I have received nothing. My Groupons acct shows refunded but none has been received and I cannot find the chat site again. Groupon needs both FAQ's and direct Customer Service contact in person or chat and it needs to be easily VISIBLE on their site. In addition, any advertiser that has area constraints on service should be immediately clear on the Groupon AD. How Groupon does that...is up to them but the fact they tied up $79. of my limited retirement income for a week caused me issues. Taking responsibility for your business and your customers should be NO. 1.

Groupon.com bubbles carpet cleaning

6/27/18 They showed up, parked in the ally, said they couldn't reach my home(?) and left. I am 72 and moved chairs, tables, lamps, etc. I have lived here for almost 20 years and have had the carpet cleaned about twice a year.
Because I could not wait, I called another group and paid 180.00
I paid 49.00 for my Groupon.

I will accept groupon credit since I use you all the time.
I told them my conco was on the end, on 30th street by the driveway.
He parked in the ally one block up the hill and refused to move.

Groupon.com merchant services nightmare

I'm incredibly upset with our experience. We've used Groupon for almost 3 years to help promote our spa. Almost every experience I've had has been negative. Everywhere from completely ignoring us to changing our campaign details without our knowledge. My most recent headache has been ending our campaigns altogether. I emailed our rep to let her know we would need to discontinue all our Groupon campaigns and received a reply from her on August 14th letting us know it would take up to 7 business days to be completely taken down. Today is now September 6th and it is still online. This is now the second time this has happened (the first was just pausing a deal) and the only way it's actually taken down is if I threaten to not honor any deals purchased after "x" date. This company is toxic. I wouldn't simply "not recommend, " I would run the other direction.

Groupon.com groupon select

I'm not a user of groupon. I tried it a few times years ago but didn't have good experiences with the deals I purchased. The event tickets weren't as advertised, the metchandise was either subpar or very late in arriving, etc. And obtaining refunds were a nightmare and more than once i was not able to even get a refund but could use the purchase price towards something else with the same company.
So imagine my surprise when i found a charge for 4.99 on my credit card from groupon. I contacted them and stole to customer service online chat...WHAT A FRICKIN NIGHTMARE! He asked me to text him a screenshot of my bank statement. I don't think so. I have him all the information though... name, bank name, date, amount, and last four of my credit card. Said someone would get back to be. 3 days later i received email from him saying that he was unable to assist ne with out screenshot of my account statement or copy of it. Again thaty includes a lot of personal information which i am not comfortable sharing with someone, v especially someone i don't know and on line. So i went to ther bank. They showed me how to obtain a copy of jusy the one transaction which i then emailed back to him. He answered me stating that i had enrolled in a program called Groupon Select which was 4.99 a month for 6 months and was not eligible to be canceled during the first 6 months. Why would i sign up for a program with a company I don't buy from? I explained this to him. Again, I'll get back to you. So sorry he says, read tje contract. I asked him for a copy of this contract. I was told thaty he would consult with his supervisor. Today I get email from him saying thaty this is not a case of fraud because I was inquiring about charges for groun select and it was not able to be cancelled. No copy of my contract or proof of my signing up.
No wonder this company has such a bad complaint rate with BBB and consumer affairs! What a FRAUD company! Again this month they have charged my card the 4.99!

I've spent thousands of $ with Groupon since joining in 2010. I have been a fan... not anymore. I'm canceling my account due to the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... and possible FRAUD.

I am having the same experience. GROUPON WILL NOT CANCEL MY GROUPON SELECT CONTRACT. I don't ever remember even signing up for it. They told me I have to pay the monthly fee for 6 months with no ability to cancel.

I have asked Groupon to see a copy of my contract multiple times. They have not shared it with me.

It's only $30. However, it's not about the $. You just DON'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS.

SHAME ON YOU GROUPON!

Groupon.com hotel

I went onto Groupon to book a hotel, there was only one option to book and I did the online chat to confirm that breakfast and dinner was included. I saved the chat and it shows the Groupon customer service rep say it was included so I booked it. Find out it's not included. Messaged Groupon chat again, and she confirms there is only 1 option so it's not like I didn't select the right option they are agreeing with me there was 1 option and that the 1st rep said it was included. Called to complain and nothing was done but a $50 voucher towards another Groupon. So I was scammed into getting this hotel being told breakfast and lunch was included and it wasn't. So now I have to pay an extra $200 out of pocket if i wanted to get the package that was told to me was included. This is extremely frustrating and misleading to the consumer. I use Groupon a lot and will not be using their services anymore due to this fraud.

Groupon.com executive on the main

I purchased a coupon from executive on the main. I have not received the coupon in my stuff it shows no purchase made. I have a copy of my master card statement showing it made on 8-1-18 $ 12.50 Please send a copy of coupon via e/mail or refund purchase amount. If no response I will dispute and receive refund this way. This will be my last purchase if I have to dispute sale again.

Groupon.com customer support

I spoke with Jithian S., a customer support representative, through your online messenger. I was looking for a refund for a service I was unable to use due to the merchants cancelations because of weather (sky diving experience). Jithian was of little help saying I was only eligible for Groupon credit in spite of my explaination that two of the same groupons had been refunded to two of the women I was jumping with over the past two days. She ended our chat. I later spoke to another representative who fulfilled my request once I provided confirmation of the cancelation. I wasn't even given that option with Jithian.

Groupon.com refunds

I purchased a groupon for flowers which I have done before with no problems before. But this time the code would not work. So I couldn't use it
So I emailed them and of course it takes 48 for them to get back to me. They finally did 3 days later of course they ask .e I'd I used the right code which I did
They said my refund would take 5 to 7 days
Well it's now 11 days and no refund. They have poor poor customer service you cant talk to anyone. I asked if I could talk to a manager not chat online they said I couldn't but they would email a manager and in 48 hours the manager will contact me. This is ridiculous
I am definitely done with groupon

I purchased Executive on the main on 8-1-18. I never received the coupons and they were not in my stuff. This is the second time this is happened. Please email or refund the amount. of $ 12.50.. Groupon has not been working correctly and I will not be using anymore

Groupon.com - account deleted without my consent

I've been a Groupon customer for many years (at least 8) and I use it to get some goods, getaways, etc, I had never experienced any inconvenience. But last weekend I purchased a deal for a hotel in San Antonio, TX. I never got the voucher but you could see the hotel in the groupons available in my account. I even downloaded the app to chat with one customer...

Groupon.com groupon

I received a package from Groupon which I never ordered and when I looked at my purchase history saw another item that was ordered. Suspicious thing was that both items were non returnable and there were no receipts in my first package i received. hmmmm. I haven't received the second and when i chatted with the Groupon customer service rep to cancel the second order they never offered to cancel the order. They said they would look into and in the mean time they have deactivated my account. So that of course means I can't login to my account and quite possibly never hear from Groupon again regarding this issue. But i do have a screen shots, so [censored] them right.

Groupon.com customer service — placing an order

It is impossible to contact Groupon Customer Service. "Help" or "FAQ" takes you in circles upon circles. The site offers Chat & Email yet you can NEVER find it.

Groupon pushes "Help Wizard" on you. Forces you to go to "My Stuff" and select the order you have a question about. NOT EVERYONE HAS A QUESTION ABOUT AN ORDER. I haven't placed an order today!

GROUPON, you have a THRIVING BUSINESS. EVERY BUSINESS MUST OFFER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stop being so CHEAP and hire support staff!
I clicked on "Email Us" and "Chat". NOTHING happened and this was during business hours. I invested about 30 minutes, from the office, trying to reach a human at Groupon in some form including internet search, etc. Total waste of 30 minutes.

"Help Wizard" should be called "HelpLESS Wizard."
Call the "Customer Service" #. A recording tells you to use "Help Wizard." HA!

HORRIBLE. No one to help. Simple question not answered.

Groupon.com groupon for eyemart express

I purchased a Groupon for Eyemart Express on June 21, 2018 to use for new eyeglasses on June 26, 2018. When the staff at Eyemart scanned the Groupon barcode it wouldn't "take" - it said there was a zero balance on it. Groupon has no phone number to call, so as I stood there at Eyemart I got on an online chat with Groupon. The person would not help me until I submitted a picture, front and back, of "the card". I explained that this was an online purchase with the barcode on my phone and they still said they could not help me unless I submitted a picture - never mind there was nothing to take a picture of! They ended up discontinuing the chat (basically, they hung up on me) so I asked for a call back on my phone.
The person who called me had very little command of the English language but I did manage to get that he wouldn't help me either until I submitted a picture of "the card". Then, the Eyemart people decided to call their corporate office to see if they could help. Here is what THEY found out: Groupon apparently gave me a barcode of an a Eyemart Groupon that had already been purchased on June 7, 2018 and had already been redeemed! Eyemart apologized and made it right! Groupon continued to email me after that, asking for the picture of "the card".

Groupon.com taylor maid professional cleaning service

I made a $64.00 purchase for 2 hours of cleaning of my small 1200 sq. ft. condo 1 bedroom, 2 bath. on 6/14/18.

I scheduled the service for 6/18/18 between 8-10 a.m.

They first contacted me by arguing that 2 hours would not be enough time to clean my condo. I stated that it would. They then stated for me to tell them what to concentrate their efforts on what to clean.

They didn't confirm the date with me and switched the date to 6/25/18!

I couldn't use them on this date and attempted to cancel the groupon.

I was then told it was past the 3 day period of time to cancel this groupon.

So, thanks for nothing. They get $64.00 of my hard earned money.

HAVE THEY EVER HEARD OF DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT?

I wonder if others are complaining of this merchant tactic!

Groupon.com microsoft office specialist and excel certification bundle

Hello,

I've requested a refund as the program is horrible and it looks like the slides are different than slides shown on the Career Academy website and it should be the same training!. I'm not able to contact Groupon Customer Service and the only msg I got is:
''Important message about your Groupon with Career Academy (LearningGate)Questions about your Career Academy purchase? Please reach out directly to their CS team at [protected]@careeracademy.com // [protected] ex. 1. Thanks! ''.
And I was told by Career Academy that: ''For reimbursement inquiries related to Groupon purchases, please reach out to Groupon Customer Support and they will be able to assist you. We cannot process any refunds for Groupon purchases since the transaction was not made with us''.
So no one is able to do anything about it! However, the most annoying thing is that I'm not able to contact Groupon... it feels like there is no Customer Service at all!

Groupon.com any item purchased by groupon incurs two charges.

I purchased an item from Groupon for $501.13
They immediately placed a hold on my bank account for the amount. This is normal.
Once the order was shipped, they re-billed me for the same amount, causing my account to drop below zero. This is not normal.
A chat with Groupon said that the original hold will be taken off 'in a few days'.
They explained that this is something they do for every transaction.
So make sure you have twice the amount in your bank if you plan on purchasing anything from Groupon. Personally, I wont be doing so anymore, they have lost my business.

Groupon.com travel trip to south padre

I sent groupon an email regarding my $288 refund. They told me to please allow 24 to 48 hrs for them to provide me with representative who will help take care of the problem. It's been 3 days and still no response. I sent them another email and now they're telling me I'm passed the deadline to obtain my refund. They won't return my emails and they refuse to refund me.

Groupon.com hotel purchase not as promised

Contacted Yuly B. Back and forth with emails and this person will not "listen". I purchased a compact king city view room with a tub and received a room with a shower. She tried to convince me I bought a room with a shower no I did not. The new offer on Groupon is with shower by not the one I purchased 3 weeks ago. I paid EXTRA for a room with a Jacuzzi tub. Yuly B needs to learn how to read and write english.
