Groupon.com beware of groupon goods

Beware of GROUPON GOODS. I bought a Christmas decoration and some Christmas presents. the return policy is 14 days from order date. the Christmas blowup took 3 weeks to get here ( that is what was promised) We waited 1 week to set it up, dont want decoration out to early, and it broke after 1 week. Since it is now over 30 days since ordered tough luck. I am now really concerned about the helicopter I bought fro my grandson. It is under the tree. if it is broken we have had it for 30 days already. Everyone else give extra time at Christmas and starts the clock when you get something not when you order something.

Groupon.com this is the worst company ever

This is the WORST company EVER.They are out to RIP OFF small businesses. if Groupon wonders why their stocks have taken a dive it is most likely because no small business that makes them successful will ever work with them again.
People were coming in and behind my back going to groupon and stating that they did not receive the services OR they received the services and gave some lie as to why they should have a refund, which was in their policy guidelines. For example, "It was no longer accessible?" What? The woman came in did a partial redemption and then sold her car! That is NOT the fault of the business. They called GROUPON and groupon NEVER called me the merchant to verify ANYTHING.
They simply penalized me ECONOMICALLY, for someone elses lies. I was then told that I would BE PAID for everyone. It has been months and I have not been paid! They deliberately LIED to me so that I would not rock the boat. My office gave FREE dental cleanings to so many people the company got screwed by GROUPON.
We have standards to maintain such as sterilization equipment. Your health costs us money we can not go when somethings breaks down or needs repairs and rip that business off!
GROUPON NEEDS TO BE STOPPED THEY ARE ONLY OUT FOR THEMSELVES, LIE TO BUSINESS OWNERS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY AT ALL. Look at their position on the stock market. why has it gone down so much so as compared to other sites? Why as they are robbing the small businesses that make them money!
We decided to take the people who did a partial redemption and then called for a refund to collections. They then threatened to have our license as professionals revoked by lying to regulatory bodies.
It is amazing how this company survives as they are biting the hand that feeds them!
Small Businesses! GROUPON has cost this office more than it was worth.

Groupon.com non delivery of item purchased

Promised delivery of the item I purchased was supposed to be completed last Nov. 22, 2012 but until now I haven't received the item. Fed up making follow-ups to their customer service. What a scam!

Haven't used this site for very long but already had 2 bad experiences. First I ordered the Ion Piano Apprentice Learning System for iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone ($149.99 List Price). almost a month ago and still no item or tracking info! Second, I purchased the "$29 for an Holiday Photo Shoot from Portrait Scene in Sterling Heights Michigan ($149 Value)" which shows a child sitting on Santa's lap, but when I called they said it will be an additional $25 for Santa AND that I would have to pay that extra up front before they scheduled the appointment. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I'm worried about the other 2 groupons I purchased now because so far Groupon has been a nightmare!

Groupon.com failed health inspection/refund

I had purchased a Groupon Certificate for a local restaurant and a few weeks after this purchase our local news station aired the results of the local health inspections and this particular restaurant failed a health inspection and this was concerning to me so I researched this establishment and discovered through an official state website that this restaurant had failed NUMEROUS health inspections! I was disgusted and upset so I emailed Groupon and asked for a refund of my money because I felt it was to much of a health risk to eat there. Groupon emailed me back saying that they investigated the restaurant and that they had cleaned up and then they encouraged me to visit this establishment! They actually encouraged me to visit this establishment after it failed numerous health inspections done by the state, Groupon also said they would not refund my money based on reviews from other customers, but this was not a review from another customer this was a STATE ISSUED HEALTH INSPECTION, something that is EASY to confirm through the State of Alaska's food and sanitation website! I am extremely disapointed and disgusted with Groupon, I have spent well over 100 dollars on Groupon in the last few months and this is how they treat a customer over a refund of 15 dollars?

Groupon.com don't buy vouchers from groupon

I purchased a voucher from groupon for 6 treatments of IPL costing approx £129. however after my first treatment, the beauticians were clearly RIPPING ME OFF by placing restrictions on the treatment areas just so i would buy extra treatments for those areas they should be doing with the voucher i purchased. after my 1 AND ONLY TREATMENT i contacted groupon and requested a refund of my voucher. They told me to contact the beauticians to request refund although i had tried that by emailing and leaving them messages, which they did not respond to. groupon agreed to contact the beauticians on my behalf and over a week later told me i could not get a refund as this had to be approved by the beauticians! groupon offered me £10 voucher instead! i was INSULTED, OFFENDED, and DISMAYED by GROUPON'S decision. they expected the beauticians to agree they were ripping me off, for me to get a refund, which is LUDICROUS and ABSURD. Groupon are quite happy to take your money and to affiliate themselves with businesses that are UNSCRUPULOUS, AND UNPROFESSIONAL. poor service costs me £129.00 but costs groupon only £10!

DO NOT BUY VOUCHERS FROM GROUPON. THEY USE CROOKED, DECEITFUL DODGY BUSINESS LEAVING CUSTOMERS AT THEIR MERCY.

Groupon.com each time I have received my product, the quality has been unsatisfactory

I have tried this website several times and bought several products from Groupon Goods. The deals initially look great but each time I have received my product, the quality has been unsatisfactory, something I would not even pay any money for. The quality is so bad that the only explanation is that they are giving Groupon customers defective goods, things that would usually make it to an outlet store or not be sold otherwise. So if you look at the actual product you are receiving against the groupon deal, it is not a good deal at all. For this reason I have made the decision to not purchase another product.

Groupon.com I will never purchase from groupon again

I had purchased several groupons without any problem besides month long shipping times. Since I trusted the site, I decided to buy a more expensive groupon, (Lasik surgery) I've always wanted lasik, and since I could get it for a few hundred $$ off, I figured now would be a good time. Unfortunately my card was declined, even though I had plenty of money in my account. I called my bank and to check for issues, and then called groupon after updating my payment information.

Unfortunately Groupon said there is absolutely nothing they could do to help. Apparently the groupon had expired, even though I had it under "my groupons". Whenever I clicked to update the payment, I would go to the home page. I wasn't offered any help at all. I will never purchase from groupon again.

How is this groupon's fault?

Your credit card was declined, so you never completed the purchase in the first place. Groupon clearly lists what time/date the deal expires, and they have never once offered "buy now, pay later" deals. They sold "your" voucher to someone else...who was able to pay for it while it was still available.

Groupon.com this is the last time I use this unreliable website

Every time I purchase a deal on this website there is a glitch! Once I purchased a deal on a snapfish book and that fell through earlier than what was on the notice, then I purchased a deal on a party and the coupon code didn't work, and when I told them the issue, they were like, oh, we don't allow you to use the code until the deal is closed or something along those lines and then...when I was like huh? why can't I print out tickets after purchasing them, they were like, oh we don't know, we have to check and resolve this issue. Its happened every single time! This is the last time I use this unreliable website!

Groupon.com stay away from these crooks

I saw a Groupon for a local Pilates studio. I had been in several car accidents over several years, and though NOT physically injured at present, I am inflexible with little muscle tone. I took advantage of their "Ask a Question" and stated my physical condition, and asked if I would be able to take their class. The studio said "Yes, take a beginners class". I looked at their schedule and they had a morning class. When it came time to redeem the Groupon, the last day before expiring, I went to sign up and saw that they no longer have that class. I contacted Groupon and explained that what I bought is not offered any longer. They responded the next day- "sorry, your Groupon expired" (It didn't when I sent the email!) Also, "we see that they have an Open Class". They totally disregarded that I bought the Groupon based on a day time beginners class that is no longer offered. So, Groupon got paid, the pilates studio got paid, I got screwed.

Groupon is a joke, I bought a telescope they claimed had been reduced from £100 to £30. It turned out to be such a low quality item that I threw it away. Bought another telescope from amazon for £75, it is brilliant. They now have an iPad cover advertised as reduced from £49.99 to £11.99, I bought the exact same cover as new from ebay for £6.00. Avoid, stick to amazon.

Groupon.com when groupon says its going to be 30-50% off, it isn't actually no more then 5%

Once u see a deal, do little bit of homework go to the company website and see what teh rates are, u are going to save or equal to the price, when groupon says its going to be 30-50% off, it isn't actually no more then 5% ..which comes with any normal website ..

I have complained to groupon with all the printscreen and website details, not once, twice or thrice but 10 times now and i think they dont really care.

Now i get why the company is dying slowly ... BEWARE.

Groupon.com my experience with groupon goods has been absolutely awful

My experience with Groupon Goods has been absolutely awful! I put in 3 separate orders for items. They then say it takes up to 2.5 weeks for items to be delivered, which is absurd when compared to most online retailers. It took a week for items to be shipped. They use UPS-MI, which is a collaboration between UPS and USPS, so your package is actually going through USPS. It takes 3 days for UPS-MI to even update their website with any tracking information, and then they still don't update it regularly.

I had to contact Groupon Goods about separate issues with 2 of my 3 orders. On one, I received what appeared to be an invalid tracking number; they said it was for use with DHL, but it used too many digits. The representatives did not read my email and sent me a canned response. I emailed a second time, and again he did not answer the correct question (also sending a canned response). I called about this, and the representative was able to tell me it was not DHL that had been used but rather UPS-MI. I thought this was ridiculous that they gave me the wrong shipper. On my second order, the shipping confirmation did not even tell me the carrier; I had to call about this as well.

I finally received my first order today. Apparently, they have mixed up the tracking numbers as well, since the item I was expecting today (according to the shipping confirmation tracking) was not the item I received. It also was not quite the item I had ordered; the color was wrong.

I have seen too many issues with this company, and this is only my first time ordering with them. I will never be ordering from Groupon Goods again, and I advise others not to as well.

Groupon.com paid but they refuse to give product

The Groupon email that contains the Groupon code and Security code was printed and brought to the Groupon branch in Suntec at the Groupon-specified date and time.

They refused to give the product, asking for something that has a bar code in it.

If I am not wrong, that security code is enough. Nothing was emailed to me that has a bar code in it, nor was it mentioned to login to Groupon to download whatever has a bar code in it.

I am writing ACRA (~Singapore's business registration ministry) or whatever to review Groupon's business license.

Groupon.com groupon goods is an absolutely terrible service

Groupon Goods is an absolutely terrible service. I purchased a mattress pad claiming to be memory foam, the ad for which included a photo of a memory foam mattress pad. What I received was not memory foam. It was just a thick foam mattress pad. I paid over $100 for memory foam and got run of the mill foam. I contacted Groupon and they gave me a $15 credit. I told them this did not address the false advertising, so they suggested I return the item. This still did not address the false advertising. Now they say they will "forward" the complaint to the Goods team.

Also, I decided to give Goods another shot and purchased a back car seat cover for dogs. I opened the package and the seat cover has numerous small holes, dirt spots, and dirt smudges. I sent them another complaint and a request to return the item.

If it seems to good to be true, it definitely is with Groupon Goods. Avoid them at all cost! Their products are untrustworthy, cheap, and falsely advertised. Save yourself a world of pain and go somewhere else. I've bought better quality products at the dollar store! And that is not an exaggeration.

Groupon.com horrible and stupid return policy

This site is my #2 because American Apparel is always #1. Horrible and stupid return policy, I mean ridiculous terms and impossible to work with. I would suggest you buy your products elsewhere because paying shipping both ways for something that might not suit you sucks. I made some purchases and now I'm stuck with them and very dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service.

Groupon.com checked with my bank and £400 was taken out of my account

I brought a deal for a vehicle service with pit stop motors for £40, value was £140. It took ages to book an appointment but managed one eventually. Also paid extra to have MOT which was additional £30.

All fine until I turned up at the address given and searched for 40 minutes around the area. No sign of any Pit Stop Motors garage. After asking other garages in the area was told that lots of other people have been searching for them and they don’t exist.

Okay, alarm bells are ringing now as I made a payment with them for an MOT. Checked with my bank and £400 was taken out of my account!

Emails, Website and Numbers for this company no longer exist.

Called Groupon to complain about the fact they advertised a fraudulent company who ripped me off. They didn’t want to know and couldn’t give me an answer to say why they didn’t contact me or others who brought the deal, when they found out that the company was a fake!

I am trying to do what I can to get my money back, but Groupon are washing their hands of this and offer no help!

What really annoys me is that Groupon don’t seem to care that they promoted a scam and didn’t even bother check if the company exist. How can this be?

Discount sites like Groupon are sure to fail because their model preys on desperate businesses. They may be profitable, but it simply isn't sustainable. They persuade desperate businesses to offer steep discounts, and then take half the face value of any coupons sold. The business is left with a loss, and Groupon profits by doing nothing more than taking advantage of one's desperation. These leeches can't fail soon enough for me.

Groupon.com poor goodyear service center

The Manager at the Goodyear Service center located at 4601 W Hypoluxo Rd. Lake Worth, FL. 33463 was not very helpful on 7/28-7/29/2012 and did not try hard at all to accomodate my service needs; Oil Change/Tire Rotate. I purchased my groupon voucher on Thursday or Friday before, then dropped in at 3 PM on Saturday to see if they would be able to provide service (I did mention I had a Groupon Voucher). They closed at 6 PM and he said that Saturday would not be good and he would not be able to do the car that day. He then said tomorrow Sunday he would, I asked if we should make an apoointment and he said no, just come in the morning and they would be able to do the service. I then made arrangements with my wife to drop off the car about 10:30 in the morning that Sunday (7/29), when I showed up I said I am here to redeem my voucher and service (Oil Change/Tire Rotate). The manager (same one from day before) says I'm sorry but we would not be able to do the service today?!?! This was very frustrating to hear as we felt we were not being treated fairly because we had a "Voucher" and the job was not "Big Money" for the Center?!. To make matters worse; it did not help as we saw a person holding a Goodyear service banner on the side walk trying to attract business they can't support! I do not hold Groupon Responsible at all and I did notify them so they can "hopefully" remove that center from any future voucher. I have used Groupon before and never experienced anything like this; I hold the Car Service center fully responsible for the poor service. It is very unlikely I will ever purchase one of these Car Service Vouchers again.

Groupon.com customer service sucks to say the least

Costumer Service Sucks! I bought a Groupon Deal for Vela Shape treatments, which if you don't know, is to treat cellulite. Why would I do that? To actually get a treatment for summer, cause in summer i wear a bikini. But the place that offered those treatments did not have anything available till the end of september! So I tried to return the Groupon Deal, but they would not let.

Groupon.com this company is extremely unorganized and worthless

While they may have tempting deals, it is definitively not worth the hassle! I ordered a product on June 1st. My debit card was charged at the time of service, and it said it would be delivered in 7-10 days. After about 15 days, I emailed the customer support. They fed me a line about the tracking information not being available and that my product should arrive soon. They also issued me a $5 credit and said that if I didn't receive my product within five business days to contact them again. Five business days later, I contacted them again. They responded: "I'm sorry for any inconvenience and we appreciate your patience. Because this product is distributed by a third party company, it can take a few days for all of the orders to be placed and fulfilled in their system. Also, due to the large number of customers that these offers attract, it can often take the business a bit longer to ship due to physical processing limitations." They were still unable to provide me with a tracking number for my product. By this time, it had been nearly a month ago that my card was charged, and my product was still not here. I emailed back and told them to cancel my order because their service was ridiculous. I immediately received an email with the tracking number and was told my product would arrive within a couple days, but no reply to the email I had sent. This company is extremely unorganized and worthless. Don't waste your time.
