Green Dot blocking my account

This is nothing but a fraud everything that people were saying on this is true I'm still waiting on my money they're holding it hostage basically I've done everything they told me to do emails hundred times I've sent them in on the website I send ID social security card bank statements blood samples DNA and they still won't take [censored] and I'm getting ready to sue because this is [censored]

Green Dot a transaction posted to my green dot credit card on july 1st 2018 in the amount of $4.99 from checkmate that I did not make

My name is Jennifer Pullins & I have a transaction posted to my account that I didn't make in the amount of $4.99 from a place called checkmate. This transaction was not me, nor does anyone but myself have access to my GreenDot credit card! I called & spoke with a customer service agent & they said the only way to resolve this problem was to cancel out my card & send me a new card & the money would be on the new card, well I received my new GreenDot credit card today but there was no more put back on the card, I called customer service and the lady told me I had to fill out a dispute form, which leads me to writing you this letter, this is ludicrous, I just want my $4.99 back please I did not make this purchase & don't understand who did being as I am the only person with the card & noone has my CC number or my pin number! Please help me!

Green Dot green dot is unreliable

I have been getting my direct deposits sent to my green dot account for a year now and never any problems until three days ago. My direct deposit usually comes every Wednesday at 1 pm I was expecting it to come July 4 at 1pm but found out the day of that it would be a delay due to the holiday. Then they said it would be 1 business day until I received my funds ... still no funds. I have called almost several times in hopes to finding a solution to my issue but every time I'm greeted by a [censored]in Indian [censored] that tells me they don't see when my money will come. It's so frustrating and inconvenient because my bills are now late and I can't take care of my personal needs for my child. I will not be using them again after this pay period and I suggest everyone else stay away from Green Dot

Green Dot debit card

My card has been blocked for 2 weeks. I have been unable to get to theoney that was direct deposited. They won't tell me what the suspicious activity was that caused them to block my card. I submitted docs on 2weejs ago and the rep today now tells us the docs are blurry--lies. They keep telling us it is still being reviewed and someone will call--lies. The last couple of days it has now been escalated and once again someone will call and no one has yet.

Green Dot customer service

I had/have a green dot card, the black card which was the first one before they started charging all the fees for reloading/using it/just to have it. Don't really have a complaint about the card itself, I never had any problems using it and actually received my direct deposits 2 days before my pay day which was pretty convenient; reloading was pretty easy except dealing with the lines and walmart employees who were doing the jobs of tellers when they really have no idea what they are doing. Only complaint I have is their customer service is horrible! I somehow locked myself out of my online account and could not see my activity. I tried the Forgot User ID/Password several hundred times and could not get it to work. So, last resort I tried calling the customer service number which I'd get some representative I couldn't understand well who would just tell me to click on the Forgot User ID/Password to reset. I tried to explain that it was not working for me but they would just tell me to click that, over and over again. Very frustrating, so after about 2 months of not being able to access my account to see my history and what was going on with my money I went and got a real bank account. I think my card is still active but I do not use it.

Green Dot debt visa

I am not able to use any of your guys features because I don't have a computer I have a tablet that's not cheep and I also have high speed internet I can not get my pin to my card because I don't have a computer I am very furious and upset and feel that discriminated if I knew I needed a computer I woulf have never purchased and loaded my money on this card I feel helpless and very angry

Green Dot walmart money card green dot

Walmart Money Card Green Dot holding my money on my card. have tried calling and emailing with same ole same ole automated service with no live person. my son made a mistake registering card that prevents us getting a real card. money is being held hostage and want to correct the error. as a military veteran this is a DISGRACE. tired of complaining

Green Dot green dot cash bank prepaid card

I bought the card today (07/01/2018) at Walgreens. When I tried to call the number from the receipt I was give by Walgreens with the instructions to acrivate the card, I was told that I could only activate this card online. When I went to the website, it said that I had tried to activate the card too many times and that I had to wait 24 hours in order to retry to activatw it. I need my card active now! I put most of my money on the card for a purchase that I needed to make today! I ended up having to gwt another card from a different provider and pay another feesimply because I could not activate this card and could not reach a representative! I am begonning to rethink putting my direct deposit on this card!

Green Dot block on my green dot card

I bought a green dot card at rite aid in Coshocton ohio and put money on it well then i had my disabled son's social security income check deposited on it and instantly there was a block put on my account. I want the block removed from my card. I can not buy my son what he needs. If the block isn't removed i will have no other choice then to call and report my son's money stolen. Please remove the block before it comes to me reporting this company

Green Dot prepaid visa

Was supposed to receive my taxes through Green dot they failed to deliver my first card and I was unable to get in contact with anyone who could fix my issue until I went to rite aid and purchased another card costing me 22$ I am disgusted with the lack of reimbursement and punctuality absolutely the worst banking experience ive ever had. Anyone who has sense should never contract with this company.

I filed a dispute on my card for 201.99 and there is a block on my card my money is there but, they won't unblock the card till they review my ID and 10 days was up June 29, 2018 I want my money now or I will sue Green Dot

Green Dot prepaid visa card

I have been receiving my direct deposit on my green dot card for over two years. 04/16/18 I was asked for ID verification. I immediately complied and my card was fine until exactly one month later. Mysteriously the morning of my direct deposit and tax refund deposit, which combined totalled over $4000, my card was blocked. When I called, I was instructed to upload my ID again for verification and the block would be removed. Instead of removing the block, they cancelled my card, locked my account and left me no access to my funds. It is 06/16/18 and Greendot has had my money on hold for a month. On 06/14/18, after speaking with the corporate office, they not only requested a copy of my ID, but a copy of my entire tax return. Once again, I complied by immexiately emailing them the requested items. I gave them a call once they received everything again, and the next day, 06/15/18, they wanted me to have the IRS sign an indemnification agreement! They said it is unheard of and my bank (Greendot), is fully aware of that. I do not know what else I can do. Now corporate is only run by two men for such a large company? Well, that is the story from Cortez and Fred who seem to run that office soley. No way to get passed those two at the corporate level and between the two of them you get a different answer every time you call. Even if you spoke to them an hour ago. I am about to lose my apartment and all that I own due to this setback. It was their error to begin with and they know it. I was instructed to order a new card on line and now I am being told that card is no good although the automated system says it is fine. Please help! I really am in an extremely bad sutuation here and they seem to not care.

had to buy two cards and one is okay, but I haven't been able to "unlock" the second one. Sent 4 times my id to unlock, Green "Dot keeps saying can't read ID. Is there real live customer service ? Green Dot activated one card and keeps going to that one. People out there------Call BBB and/or FDIC. if everyone does this maybe things will change.

Green Dot I asked to speak to a supervisor

I called the customer service number and request to speak to a supervisor employee by the the name jen diat advise me that she would get a supervisor placed me on hold and then got back on the phone and told me a supervisor would call me back I never received that phone call not only did she like and tell me a supervisor would call me she told me no I could not speak to a supervisor. I work in customer service when a client asks to speak to a supervisor a supervisor is supposed to be contacted as soon as possible. Especially when it involves someones hard earned money you need people to get your cards we don't need you without customers you make no money correct treat customer with respect. Then I proceeded to call back to find out only that I was blocked from making any more calls convenient. Number is [protected]

Green Dot green dot/atm

First off my name is lafondra brown and I have stage 2 stomach cancer I used an chase atm that took my money off my card and in return I didn't receive any money. I talked and called several times to talk to a representative that told me that I have to wait til jun 27th to receive my money I cannot go 14 days without my meds or my cancer will surely go up to stage 3. I begged and pleaded with them for help I didn't get any help once I was told fill out the dispute letter online I did that I was told also that you all no longer accept disputes online I don't know whats the truth and whats a lie I cannot continue to have people playing with my life. If I cannot get any help with this situation to get my meds in this life or death situation I will call a lawyer. These representatives on both ends are playing with my life and I have children to try to take care of I need this situation rectified quickly my life depends on it I even sent a receipt and photo afterwards I emailed them this and still no help please help me

Green Dot never receive card

May 30 i ordered a replacement card but never receive it in the mail. Because I moved from 4942 glenns rd Gloucester va 23061 to 13382 George Washington memorial highway saluda va 23149. This is not the first time I had a problem with green dot sending me a new card. I asked from a new card because money was removed from my card by shoe drazzle. On May 30 I ordered a new card but I never receive it. Because I moved from 4942 glenns rd Gloucester va 23061 to 13382 George Washington memorial highway saluda va 23149. I asked for a new card because money was removed from my card by shoe drazzle. #[protected]. This Thomas Billups. An I want my money off that. This is not the first time I had a problem with green dot cards. It hard to get your money out the if you file for a new one.

Green Dot I want a refund

On june 8th I tried to load my rush card from the 200 greendot card I gave the numbers to the repersentative that answered the phone at greendot customer service. I never received it. I have all receipts and call logs. How can I get my money back. I use moneypak at least 4 times a month and this has never happened to me now I am terrified to use this company. It was so conveinant for me to send and receive funds from family and friends. That money was sent to me because it was my twins birthday june 8th and we had nothing they were so dissapointed and it hurt me sooo bad to see them this way I havent stopped crying since. Also noone can afford to loose that kinda money. Please refund my money.

Green Dot turbotax prepaid card for income tax

I have called this company several times can't get live person.
I have veerified with federal and state income tax and both of my income tax money went on a card that green dot never sent me.
I have money out there and can't get because this company never sent me my card.
I'm very upset there holding my money.
I will have to take further action if my card or money isn't sent to me in a few days.

Green Dot pre-paid debit card

I have had a happy experience with Green Dot up until about two hours ago. I was making plans and purchases for what was going to be a long-anticipated vacation next week. I say "anticipated" because as of 1am this morning, my current Green Dot card - the one that I have been using continuously for over 18 months - seems to no longer have the "correct expiration date" according to the Customer Service representative that I just spoke with on the phone. Despite the fact that I have had multiple purchases over the internet and with other merchants every week for a year and a half using the expiration date on the card that I am holding in my hand, Green Dot wants me to believe that all of a sudden, the expiration date on my current card - which has worked perfectly up until tonight - is no longer valid and has not been valid for a year and a half - despite the numerous purchases that have been approved over that same period of time. As of this moment, the only two options that Green Card is offering to me is to issue me a replacement card - which will take approximately "three weeks" to reach me - OR- to close the account altogether in which case that check would take four weeks to reach me. I am sure that all of this is covered in their "Terms of Service". I am also sure that they have presented themselves as being competent in handling the money of millions of people around the world as well. And so I am left in the very difficult position of trying to comprehend their reason for my account being locked up - that my present card with its expiration date that I have used continuously over the last eighteen months has suddenly become "invalid" in the last twelve hours. I can not begin to imagine how this could have happened except for a data processing error in their software, memory system, or an operator error. What I can imagine very easily is that I will not be going on vacation next week with my family, that the deposits I have already put down for the trip are now gone, and that they have in essence over two thousand dollars of precious money that I have no reason to believe is going to given back to me any time soon - if ever.
I know that I am going to have to tell my family in the morning that we will not be going on vacation next week - or perhaps at all due to this incredible "explanation" that I have been provided in the last hour by two different representatives of Green Dot. And as so many have pointed out, I was told that there was no supervisor for me to talk with and that they would take my name and number and have one of them call me in the next twelve to eighteen hours. Needless to say, I am not hopeful that whoever calls - if someone calls at all - will have the authority to correct the error by Green Dot and "make me whole" again. This has been such a disappointing experience especially given the fact that I have not had a problem with this company. However, this is also the first time that I have had over $500 on the card and so far, I have resisted the temptation to extrapolate from those two facts. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am frankly pessimistic that Green Dot is going to step up and do the right thing by quickly correcting their mistake. I am trying to hang onto the hope that I will at some point this year see my money ever again.

Green Dot debit /visa card

I have been using my card about 10 times and 50% of the transactions are declined. This is quite embarrassing when there is money on card. I understand being cautious about fraud but this is getting ridiculous. I would be better off just buying a gift card. I thought I would try this out first. Now I tried to use card at grocery store for a 10-12$ purchase and it declined again. I called next day and it said card was inactive? Don't know why, but I called customer service and I just hung up after being on hold for 32 minutes. If this normal just tell me know because it's exhausting and too much trouble. One night, I had to call 5 different times before I got helped to use my card, (because of declined purchase) and I still had to wait hours to use card. Please explain problem or what to do differently because I am ready to cut up card. Thank you for listening and you might need more people answering phone if 30 minutes is normal, or too many problems to deal with since I've had to call so many times.

Green Dot my green dot card being blocked!!!

I just purchased my GreenDot card and put my weekly payroll check onto the card. Got a message this morning saying it is blocked! I've tried a 100 ways to try and speak to someone! Nothing! Go to the website where they say to send photo id and is a complete load of bs! No way of sending my photo id to get my card turned on so I can buy my kids some food! My cell is [protected] someone needs to contact me immediately!

Purchased a greendot prepaid visa at walmart in london, ky and it's already blocked! I put this weeks payroll money on it and can not spend any of my money! No way to buy anything! My number is [protected] someone from greendot needs to contact me asap! My kids need food! I need gas to get to work! Every number you try to call! Nothing! Can't even speak to a representative! The website where they say to send photo id! Is a joke! No explanation on what to do! People need their money and I can already tell this company takes nothing seriously! How did they ever get accounts! And walmart needs to check companies out a little deeper if their going to sale their products in stores! Very pissed! I was even gonna have my payroll direct deposited on this card! Not now!
