[Resolved] Gree International Inc / Danby Premiere Dehumidifier / Not providing recall package
We've contacted them four times. Each time, "the recall information package will be in the mail" with the longest date 10 days down the road. The first time, they made a mistake on the address. The second and third time are no shows when we provided a PO box as we live in a new area and the postal code does not work IN THEIR SYSTEM but it works for everyone else. We've talked to Byron, Rene, and a totally non-customer-service oriented supervisor by the name a Lekeesha. This is a farce. I've asked if they could e-mail the instructions but "they cannot do that. It can only be done via mail". These people have no intention of honouring the recall. I've complained to Health Canada and Industry Canada and hoping that others in the same situation do the same and perhaps fine these people.
After posting up here, a package has been provided with the relevant details required to submit a claim. Amazing what a bit of press does.
