Walmart racism - I was set up by csm and security guard.

I went to pay for an item that rang up at the wrong price. I told them the item cost $12.97 but it rang up at $19.97. So I argued with the cashier. They said since the bar code did not match that I would have to pay $19.97. Then I saw the CSM talking to someone else. The CSM after talking to that person said to give me to it for that price. Then when I left the store the person the CSM was talking to told me he was arresting me for fraud because he had me on camera changing the price tag. You know what they did not need to set me up. Since they already knew that I had changed the price they should have told me no they could not give it to me for $12.97. No instead they allowed me to purchase it for the incorrect price and arrested me for fraud. If they had refused to give it to me for that price then I would not have done this again. I feel that I was discriminated against because I am black

I did not break any laws. I had no idea that this was against the law. You guys automatically assume that because I am black that I am guilty. Well that is not the case so in the words of Prince William and Tasha shut the f**k up. You must all be white to know that blacks are treated differently that you guys. We are targeted, watched in stores ect. As a matter of fact if I were not black I would not be surprised if they believed the price wsa $12.97 and given it to me for that price no questions asked. Even if they did not they certainly would not suspect me and start watching me. You whites don't know how to read or choose to ignore the evidence. The fact remains I am being targeted (regardless of doing wrong) because I am black. Not whether I did wrong or not.

Tasha I don't like it when there are false claims of racism but this clearly is racism. If I were white I feel they would just have told me that the price does not match the barcode and not let me get away with it.

First born Triplet you must be a security guard at Walmart. That is the exact same thing the security guard said. Well go f*ck yourself. The point is if I were white I feel that they would have just refused to give it for the lower price, but because I am black they set me up. This is not about my doing something wrong which I admit, this is about being discriminated against because I am black.

CaryGrant, if that is who really are ... Ha, Ha, Ha. This means that your post is fake, too. You are really nieve. On any site for comments a person can disguise who they are, when they set up their account, therefore, this post about stealing is very valid. This person was looking for sympathy and not getting it! There are many out there that do just what she did. Get you head out of the sand. Don't be as ignorant as she is ... Enough said!.

You are nuts! ... Your comment: 24th of Oct, 2012 by I was set up ... I did not break any laws. I had no idea that this was against the law. You are off you rocker! Everything you just said is so ignorant. You were Not targeted because you are black, and you have not been judged automatically because you are black, it was your behavior and actions. And your vulgarity shows your immaturity. It does not matter what race you are. Obviously, you were behaving suspeciously to draw attention to yourself ... You caused Your Own Judgment. The majority of stores have loss prevention people and hiddent devices to observe shoppers like You, No Matter the Race, who are trying to rip off the store by short-changing and stealing a purchase by fraudulent means. Since the beginning of time this is stealing; guess what, most punishment was either mutilation or death in the older times and still is in the middle east and undeveloped countries. No matter how advanced this world gets like is now, it is not perfect, but the stores have to protect their interests, because your behavior costs the rest of us by the increase of prices due to You acts, like what your did. The cashier is there to check you out and it rang up correctly because of the bar code, but You Complained about being Over Charged. The CSM came over and did their job to make the decision for the cashier and based on Your Complaint, and it Is Not their job to do the Loss Prevention person"s job watching the monitor or scanning the tape of your shopping and changing the price. It is the loss prevention person who holds you accountable because they observed You doing an illegal act and they called you on it after the purchase and Not because of your race that you are so ademently screaming. You really have a lot to learn about the law, your responsiblity to others and truthfulness and honesty. And if you knew the Bible, it says in the Eighth Commandment, "Thou shalt Not Steal". The store had every right to hold you accountable and you can scream all you want and No One with any commonsense will agree with you. Just another lier, deceiver and selfish person with No accountability. Grow Up!

Really? You change a price on a product and you accuse the store for Racism? You complain that you were incorrectly charged, when You frauduantly changed a price to steal it for a lesser price, and they are Racist? Where is your responsibility, humility, morality, accountability and commensense? You do not need another chance because you already had a chance to be a trustworthy and honest citizen, and You Failed. There are plenty in your race that are responsible and trustworthy and would not be caught dead behaving in such a way nor associate with those like you. You are one of many that are a Poor example to your race. No wonder there such a problem with your race's young to old due to the lack of values, morality, humility, accountability, respect and trustworthyness. Grow up!

Really? Your are complaining about being set up? Racism? You have got to be kidding! YOU Set the Store Up for Your Shenanigans ... You received what you deserved including embarrassment. What you were doing is stealing by changing a price and they should have brought charges against you. You have no excuse or right to complain while you were in the store or now. You are irresponsible and a bad example to your race. People like you repulse me. No wonder there are others of your race, who continue to display such behavior and actions. Thank goodness there are many in your race that maintain higher standards and morals that are just as disgusted with you and those in your league. Just grow up!

Walmart rehire

I am in my 60's. This economy is horrible for so many. Not only young people and families having difficulties getting work, but older people want or need to work, too. In a prior year I had worked at Walmart for 1 month as a temporary cashier for the holidays. I really liked cashiering and helping the customers with the variety of purchases that Walmart offers. During my time there I was told they really liked me and wanted to keep me on, so I was to update my info. A few weeks later with holiday coming to a close and business slowing the mgr. stated they did not have the hours for me so could not keep me on, and told me to reapply in 60 days. I was surprised but it seemed normal that this would happen. Well after several months I decided to reapply and was told they were recommending me for rehire. I checked back several times and was told that they decided to go with someone else, and the last time I called I asked when I could expect to return to cashier. I was told that despite liking me, they were not selecting me for rehire because I was not catching on and had made mistakes; and did not offer me any other position available, if they did not want me to do cashiering … fishy. I was shocked because no one ever said anything or suggested I retrain in an area I am lacking in the four weeks I was there or nothing was said or an exit interview done, when I left on very good terms. I am not crazy about the pay but I accepted it because Walmart claimed to have a good work environment and cared about their people. I told people how impressed I was with Walmart, regardless, of how some higher ups would blow you off, always looking mean, cold, tactless and did not portray this mindset. They appeared not to follow their own Walmart ethics. As a result my opinion of Walmart has sullied. I have read on another Walmart complaint blog how people who had done outrageous things were let go and rehired (cashier walking off the job was allowed back a few days later; someone did something inappropriate was let go and rehired). I cannot believe it, I am very disappointed and hurt. Well, I will No Longer be shopping at Walmart, if at all possible, because there are plenty of other economical stores in the area. Older people may not be as quick as the younger but they deserve better. When we are older or a functioning disabled person, we still have many years of the right to work or are we to just drop dead and not bother anyone for the rest of our lives whether for a long or short time, and this makes me wonder about our wounded and disabled veterans opportunities ... same treatment? EOE? I think not.

restless58. Sorry about what you had & continue to go through. As you may have read some of the earlier comments done by either young ignorant or the total disrespectful, it is no wonder our Country is going down the tubes. When we were young, there were very few jobs for women or more stereo typed jobs and rare non-traditional. The majority of women did not have to work except as housewives and the job was their family and stability of faith by worshiping God, and young people were more respectful. Sadly some had to work as they became widowed, abandoned or divorced, which was not spoken about or not as common. We may have not understood or cared about the older people, but we did not insult them like they do now. No one told me at Walmart I was old, but I had asked the HR person why I was being side-stepped as a cashier. She kindly said the manager had said he wanted to go with someone else, then she stated that I had made mistakes, I was not catching on and they had concerns. I told her that if I was doing something, then I should have been advised what was wrong, which should have been the first step instead of laying me off ... that is appropriate action. When cashiering, there are many times someone else uses your register and could have made errors. You have register records for each cashier but you really cannot tell who made an error in a cash drawer, generally. I could have made an error but I was more conscientious and I think I was blamed for what others did on my register. CMO's could be more conscientious, helpful and encouraging instead of stern, off-putting and disrespectful or take off after helping you then taking off instead of waiting that a problem did not reoccur for that transaction ... that was very lacking. There was no Effort to resolve the issue by discussing my issue or resolve by some retraining and making an effort to make you feel like part of the team. Walmart keeps claiming they are so wonderful and I do not believe they display or practice what they preach. I told HR that I was shocked, insulted and offended. Whether that was relayed, I do not know, but it does not matter. Walmart does not care. Never called me back to show some respect or concern. All I have to say is to keep doing what you can with what you have and enjoy the people that care about you. I have to keep moving forward myself because it is not my right to give up ... work through it. If you believe in God/Jesus, then you know that God knows his plan for your life and will see you through it as you trust him ... His greatest plan for believers is eternity with Him. May God give you comfort, strength and contentment as you go through life ... I have to keep my focus on Him, as well, and He will see me through, too.

LOL ... You nieve people are soooo funny. Were you born under a rock? Oh, some of you must be one of the 99%er's waiting for your Obamaphone and other freebes and other peoples money that you did not earn or from a business They Built, Not the Government. Those of you that show disrespect to those older than you, remember you will be old one day. Remember your nasty comments when you older and you need or want to work ... Have No Doubt, WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND ... You Will Reap what You Sow ... Go ahead and scoff and mock, Your day Will Come. Who will listen to you then? Not the younger crowd beyond your generation, unless they were brought up with courtesy, compassion and selflessness. I feel Sorry for You ...

I'm 58 years old I lost my job at Wal-Mart 5 years ago after I was threaten by assistant manager about my age in with the new and out with the old I lost my job two days later been struggling ever since . the older people knows what people wants were the young people don't care and take advantage of the old to cover up their work but with out us we started before computers registers you had to count the money back to the customers. we had people in department that could help customers I worked for over 38 years in retail and when I went on a interview I had already been interviewed three times with an hour and you could hear them talking what really gets me they called me old some weren't far from my age and then I applied for full time was offered part time making way less than I do now not getting credit for what I know and when I saved Wal-Mart thousands of dollars there going to be a day when they lose their full time job and half to take a part time job and how hard it is to pay bills the younger crowd don't care sam didn't treat people like they do now

Don't buy from JD Closeouts in Hollywood Fl, or Beaufort Liquidation in Beaufort SC either. They guy at Beaufort cussed my husband and then hung up on him. We went to JD and it is a DUMP! Been dong this for years, hard to find good people in the business any more. Have had good dealings with Warehouse One in Crossville, Tn and with Lucky Dollar in Wilksboro, NC. Hope you the best in your ventures!

Walmart cmi voids warranty

I am SFC Scott Staggs. I had my oil changed by Walmart 12 August 2012 while en-route to the Senior Leaders Course in FT Jackson SC. I was to be at PT 0600 AM. I stopped at the East town Walmart in Knoxville 3051 Kinzel Way [protected].They were closing but agreed to do my oil change. I Paid at 1730 (aprox) and drove less than 3 miles when my car began to knock violently. I pulled in to the very next exit (strawberry Plains Knoxville 8 miles from store)) I called back only 10 minutes after leaving the store the Department manager explained that he would quickly file a claim with the department that handles this and call me back he called back in 10 minutes with a claim Number 6676655 and a number [protected]. He told me "everything would be handled" I expected that because of my warranty that protects me from workmanship and material failure I was in good hands. My wife came 60 miles from my home picked me up and took me to Fort Jackson for school she returned quickly as she is a School teacher with the Knoxville Christan School. I continued with training. On Thursday 17 August I was concerned by no return calls from CMI. I called the Walmart they stated they cannot work with with me as the claim was filed. I called Wiegles the location of the breakdown. I was dismayed to discover the car was in the parking lot! I demanded that CMI put a person on the phone I was forced to call the Operator of the phone system and she physically made a adjuster get on the phone. I told the adjuster David Hornton I couldn't believe my car was sitting for almost a week. He said I should have it towed to a local lot and have the vehicle inspected to determine the cause of failure. I called Leaks towing and they picked my car up Friday 18 August 2012. After I confirmed the car was in the hands of Leaks I asked him to do a detailed inspection and report that to CMI. Tuesday 21 August I call Mr Leak he states he cannot get a person to return his call or answer the phone at CMI He didn't feel comfortable touching the car until it was confirmed that he was supposed to inspect the vehicle. I called CMI and again used the only technique to get to a person. ( just a point I never even to this day spoke to my original adjuster). I spoke to David Hornton again he changed the process stating they would send out a inspector. I thought this would be done quickly however the inspector didn't show up until Friday 24 August 2012 a full 12 days after the vehicle was destroyed. During the inspection the inspector hired by Walmart and paid to inspect my vehicle couldn't even identify a the special and specific oil filter made available only to Walmart at a lower cost (FRAM). He states there is no sign of leaking or spray. He states this appears to be staged and is not consistent with oil filter leak due to lack of oil around the filter adapter. I called Monday 27 August again using the operator ( as this date I have been called back 3 times and returned emails once with my 20-25 emails send and to many phone messages to even count) Mr Hornton was very careful reading the report leaving out a majority of detail as I discovered reading the report later. I hit on the filter point and the lack of excessive oil. I pointed out the Fram filter COR4667 is only distributed to Walmart. This is key in the "Staged" statement and the car was sitting in Wiegles 5 miles from the oil change facility for 6 days then at Leaks for another 6 days. This car is Mid Engine and has Louvers that allow air and rain to run over the engine. It was incompetent to allow this time to pass and i stated I cleaned up the oil mess at Weigles with kitty litter provided by the store manager. I offered him her contact information. Leaks also stated to me the parking spot (I pushed the car to a less busy spot in the parking lot the night of failure) had oil from the engine compartment from run off. I later discovered one sticking point to the report was the filter not having oil pooled. The filter on the Toyota MR2 is set a 45 degree vertical position. The filter would have drained back into the engine within hours of the failure. David Thornton said he would do me a (favor) and send out another inspector. He stated I would have to have the engine tore down to-point of failure. Leaks stated they didn't want to deal with the aggravation so I paid them for there services and had the vehicle towed to Rick Mcgillls Toyota the same day. Joe Hansard from the Toyota dealership called me to let me know the vehicle was ready for inspection he also states his Tech sees obvious oil deprivation scars on the crank. I called left messages with Jason Weeks (new adjuster) and David Hornton that the vehicle was ready 3 days later Joe Hansard called to let me know that the car was holding up a bay and he hasn't heard anything from CMI. Again I called using the Operator. I spoke to Jason Weeks and had it out with him.I then wanted to speak to the department supervisor. Jennifer Pikens to whom I was told was told was the department head never responded for at least a week after the final inspection was always in a meeting or away for training I spoke to her secretary and request daily a return call. I was informed the next day 30 August 2012 the inspector did show and the Toyota tech discussed the issues with the car. I was told by the Toyota Tech he thought the inspector was hired by me as he was clearly stating the engine failed due to oil deprivation pointing out how well the engine looked for its age. I felt it was finally over. Jason Weeks for the first time in a month calls me. He had a proud arrogant tone referring to the report. He read the report over the phone again leaving out key detail I would later read in the physical report. He stated that Walmart will not cover this due to my failure to maintain my vehicle and the engine lost the oil that caused the oil deprivation due to the hole in the block. I quickly noticed the fallacy. How can you blame the failures on the effect of the failure. There wasn't a hole in the block before the engine failed. He stated that non the less walmart will not cover my "alleged" loss. I was dumbfounded that both reports were poor, incomplete, and absurd.

I called Jennifer Pikens and of course no response for two days. Finally I speak to her only to find out she is a loss prevention manager. I still to this day do not know the chain of concern for CMI. She stated she wasn't technical but she would look into my claim. I forwarded her the rebuttal letter from me, Toyota's Tech, Service records for my car showing Walmart performed all service on this car for the last 2 years from 208, 000 mile to current on time and within the 3000 miles recommended. I was told she would contact me . I waited a week with no response. I contacted CMI and on target I was forced to use the Operator. David Hornton told me that CMI is still holding fast to the report. I contacted the Johnson City Walmart Marketing Manager and his office called to confirm this was the status. I recieved a email from Jennifer Pikens today saying she was backing the report stating the oil loss was from the hole in the block that was caused by the failiuer. I contend CMI cannot use the clean hand defense as the reports are so Bias and they include lies that I have proven technicaly (engine dont fail from oil deprevation after they lock up) I never touched the oil filter I was in Ft Jackson! (Mcgills Toyota confimed this in a letter to Jennifer) this proves dishonesty. Automotive Adjusters are located in Florida yet they were hired to travel to Tennessee? I called then they stated "We 1000's of these and they dont have to give me an explaination" (however he just did)

CMI is backing the Technical reports that are not only misspelled they are laughable. They commit libel stating I brought tyhe Oil filter in at a later date. I need assistance in this and I can provide detailed pictures to include a technical report from Mcgills Toyota and complete maintence records of my car. I contacted several attorneys from the Walmart project and they request 5, 000 retainer fee. I cannot pay this amount as I am PCS (Perment Change of Station) next month.

Since my car was destroyed I have been pushed around and wasted over 20-30 hours of time on the phone filing complaints with Walmart Corporate twice. I have produced solid proof that the Automotive Adjusters are not Bias and are in the pockets of Walmart. Walmart self insures CMI and I am against a giant! If CMI is a (insurance) how can they operate in this fashion? I want my car paid for, My rental car that I finally had to return paid for and I truly feel "pain and suffering" Please if you can help me in any way It would be greatly appreciated.

my insurance was never involved I use AUSA and never an issue with them...see I had my oil changed and walmart placed a defective filter on my car...I was told on the night of the engine failure...12 August 2012 I was told that night CMI would handle everything...I didnt know who CMI was...I thought maybe they were Customer Managment Incorporated...I had no ideal they were an insurance company owned by Walmart to determine liability. The car sat in the parking lot of wiegles in Knoxville for 6 days while I was in FT Jackson. I thought walmart had picked it up and had it in there possion...I found out Friday they had done nothing and the car was still in the parking lot...Wiegles had all right to tow it away but they didnt. Walmart damaged my vehicle the company that wlamart owns (CMI) denied my claim based on a report from a Walmart paid company (Automotive Adjusters) does this make sense? I didnt have a chance. I was supposed to have a Warranty ...but I didnt and anyone who has issues with Walmart will have a chance for fairness... they wont view Toyota's diagnosis...does this make sense?

http://cmiw.com/privacypolicy.htm Notice the customer email address CMIW@ they say the are adminstrators however the company is property of Walmart the employees of CMI are Walmart employee. you cannot get a fair shake if you have major issues that involve CMI.

Walmart is CMI, CMI is owned by Walmart. They dont tell you that until they deny your claim. Search Cliams Managment Incorperated. I also called the Arkansas Insurance board they stated that since they are self insured they dont have to follow state mandate. So I cant even file a complaint. ...Automotive Adjusters (they are in Florida)...now they contract with CMI (again who is Walmart) to inspect the vehicle worked on by Walmart. I will include the report in a day or so... Automotive Adjusters are paid by Walmart again I cant get a fair shake. Why would Walmart pay a man to travel from Florida to Knoxville TN? Knoxville is a major city with 1000's of ASE certified mechanics. The guy that broke the engine down is a Toyota ASE and Factory certified Technician. They wont even accept a email from him!

Yes allot ramblin...sorry..my issue is with CMI they are self insured by the parent company Walmart. Leaks did a great job of picking the car up quickly then towing to Knoxvillle Toyota. Mcgills did a great job of accepting the car then breaking it down quickly. My complaint is CMI used a Company they knew would place blame on the customer and denied my claim. I paid Leaks, Toyota, and for my rental car. I am left with no car and expenses I have already paid. Walmart place a defective filter on my car. My car failed within 10 minutes and the res of course is in the rambling...

Walmart stripped my drain plug and are pulling the same BS on me stating CMI iss a third party non biased claims company, which is BS the guy who called me asked what happened in my own words, and not 2 seconds later informed me that they had denied my claim earlier in the day after speaking to the store, And tried to tell me a drain plug can only be stripped going in not out..WTF I have spoken to several mechanics that say this is bull if the tool is at the wrong angle pressure unevenly air powered wrenches, If the try to BUST it loose with a torque or breaker bar hammer wood block etc.. can all cause cross threading the store offered to put a expansion plug but tried to make me sign stating when I left the store they couldn't be held liable. then the retention manager said don't do anything. So my car goes in fine they mess it up offer no assistance then NCI- A division of Walmart denies my claim before talking to me, and funny it says in my BBB response from them this hornton guy is a supervisor great now we know how they promote withing the company to. this fiasco which could have been fixed by them for 122 has now cost me in the well in thousand's of dollars for repairs missed work the other damage it caused to the car my girl having to miss overtime etc... to add insult to injury I work with a former auto tech from Walmart who said "Oh yeah that happens all the time, that's why they keep expansion plugs in stock for the Tire center" he went on further to state that they aren't even ASE certified, and that they use Air Tools, or torque or breaker bars to loosen them all the time sometimes hitting with a hammer or wood block to BUST it open which does cause cross threading . He stated this is common at all locations . What a Fiasco THANKS ALOT WALMART I will not be shopping there anymore

Walmart misappropriation of funds

The company did allowed unauthorized deduction from my card. I did file a complaint and did request
the compromised card to be canceled and a new card issued to prevent any further unauthorized deductions.
A supervisor for Walmart money card did indicate that a 3 month hold would have to be place on the funds in
the account pending resolution. I was assured that the monies would not be released and would be made
available in the 3rd month. On the 3rd month I checked the account and noticed the funds were still frozen,
I then contacted Walmart Money-card and was assured by their representative that the funds would be
released the following day, after checking the account I noted the account was in deficit, After speaking to the supervisor
I was told the funds were released to the company that initially made the unauthorized charge in the first case, and that
I had no recourse to get my funds returned. How convenient that this occurred the day after I request the funds be
released, 3 months after the fact, on a new card that was issued, specifically to keep this kind of thing from happening.

I am a decorated combat disabled veteran that lives on a very small veterans disability pension. I cant begin to imagine just how many other disabled veterans and or disadvantaged citizens Walmart does this too. I will no longer give Walmart my business and call upon all of you who have been ripped off or harmed by Walmart to do the same.

I went through the cashier checkout with my 4 year old grandson and he saw a pillow pet on the wall along where the restroom is and decided that he wanted that instead of the items I just paid for. Walmart jewelry dept

Walmart on 8th street colorado springs, co...I have already quit using pharmacy due to them losing my prescription.

Now, the jewelry dept has totally lost my business due to customer service and not knowing there job. I recently had a set of rings on layaway which were paid in full on 9/20/12 which were supposed to go out for sizing the next day. On 9/20/12 we stood in line to make our final payment for 11/2 hours to get anyone to help us.

We finally got a mgr Sharon to help us and she accepted our pmt and sized my rings and said they would go out for sizing next day.

WELL, we stopped in on 10/03/12 to check status of my rings...The girl finally found them and they were sitting in the bottom of a drawer and never sent out ! We were told us she could send them out and it would be another 4-6 weeks, Your compant definately needs to learn how to treat there customers better,

I recieved a total refund of $329.00 and I will bring my business elsewhere...Diane Bohne

Walmart racism

I unfortunately work there and I hate it! I witnessed another racism incident against a black shopper on 9/29/12, when he had politely asked a female associate (Liz) a reasonable question, she had loss prevention kick the man out of the store- FOR NO REASON! Liz is a lousy white wal-mart employee, who has attitude problems, and she just hates men.. The loss prevention guy, is a lousy employee too (he was fired at an Aiken Wal-mart, for allowing robberies to carry on!).. Thats how stupid WAL-MART is, they mainly keep the crappy associatesemployed & screw with the good customers & employees!
Beware: THE CITY OF N. AUGUSTA- has a long & current history of enforcing racist policies of "segregation", framing/falsely arresting blacks (esp. black men) & modern civil rights activists, police brutality, political/government corruption, and constantly giving black citizens -"Trespass" notices, to harass black customers, who do business with racist companies (like Wal-mart)..

I too worked at a large box store. Not Wal mart however.
I noticed that those who advanced were first caught stealing. The assistant store manager was promoted to store manager after he was caught loading up his truck after hours at the loading dock. The manager over division 3 in households was promoted to assistant manager of the store after he was caught stealing electronic equipment. It was odd that the manager of credit always had large sums of money he just spread around. Until he was busted for pocketing any cash payment and not giving receipt. It was by a customer who caught him and he was unable to get out of the charges. The bookkeeper wore mink and drove a custom car. Caught stealing an average of $100.00 per drawer from the registers at night. Only after she left and an audit was pulled. They let her get away with it as she quit before she was caught.

I could not find anything large enough to steal so I could become president of he company. So I left.
The whole experience was very eye opening for me.

Walmart poor service

I took my old (79) Chevy 1/2 ton pick up to walmart tire center to get 4 new tires on it----the individual there refused because he said that the 235/75x15 tires were over size and they wouldn't put them on------ I was a mechanic for 30 years and if you call a tire store --90% are going to price out 235 as a replacement tire---unfortunately we have a bunch of lazy AND stupid people here at walmart--admittedly it was 5 PM so they would have had to work a little faster than normal--anything done there takes 2 to 3 hours. I guess Walmart can kiss off $400 in sales--it must be nice to be able to pick and choose what you want to sell and when--guess I will be just one more customer to quit shopping there--the quality and variety in the grocery part is really debatable and the prices are not always lower--everything else is made in China --I will be only to glad to shop places that want your business and offer goods made some where besides China !

Whats funny is that I didn't even read past the first sentence of your complaint and knew KNEW KNEW you werre gonna say you were a mechanic. That's what every old man comes in there and says. If you "were" one then you would have more respect for other mechanics. But no you don't. Go buy your own stuff and do it yourself if you are so AWESOME as a mechanic. Go buy a tire mounting machine, lift, and a balancer. It's not that they are lazy, but you have to think how many money hungry people are out there who want free stuff and want to get a big lawsuit out of walmart. Which both ruin our bounses. If people like you would stop complaining and wanting employees to lose money out of everyones paycheck they would do it. I know you didnt think of anything like that Did you and go ahead talk bad to everyone who comments on your post be an old guy acting 5 cause you know before you read this you were going to. lol PLUS YOU KNOW YOU WILL GOING BACK TO WALMART FOREVER DONT LIE TO EVERYONE AND YOURSELF. It's childish. Grow up.

Walmart constantly abusing customers & racism

Wal-Mart's Constant incompetent way of doing business & harassing black customers prompts racism claims - CNN Wal-Mart - 260 Bobby Jones Expressway Augusta Georgia GA 30907: Of all the Augusta Branches, this one is at the top of the list for Cumsumer Complaints, and lawsuits for racial discrimination against black employees & customers (esp. men).. Lately the Wal-mart branch was charged in another civil suit for falsely accusing a black male for shoplifting, when he was only browsing around the store looking for something to buy. Another case involves a man who slipped & fell inside the store, because no wal-mart employees cleaned up a water spill on the floor, the man sued wa-mart last year, and the company is still fighting his accident claim, and avoiding responsiblitiy- even when employees on the day of the accident admitted fault! African-Americans should stop shopping at these Wal-mart Department stores, then maybe the company will officially change their racist business policies..

Walmart fraud

Dropped off a prescription at Wal-Mart. Went back the next day. The man in front of me was told to go talk to 'someone' because there was a problem with his insurance. The cashier tells me the same thing. So I go talk to someone at the drop off counter and they inform me that I have no insurance. Hmmmm. I've had the same insurance for 12yrs. I tell him so. He looks at my card and says no, I haven't had coverage for 2yrs. So he then calls the number on my card to verify. I wait. Thinking, well its 6pm at night, I know they are closed but maybe there is a special "after hours" phone number for pharmacies. He talks to someone for 2 minutes then gets off the phone and says, "they said you are not covered." I leave furious, having to wait until the next morning to call my insurance. I call them first thing and explain the situation. My insurance says I AM covered and there shouldn't have been any problem. I asked my insurance why he was told on the phone I did not have coverage. He said, "let me check the phone log." He then tells me there is no record of a phone call. Then I tell him it was at 6pm so its was probably on the after hours phone line. My insurance tells me, "there is no special phone line, there is nobody here after 5pm." WHAT! SO WHO THE HECK WAS HE TALKING TO?
Come to think of it I don't remember him ever giving my insurance ID# and so there is NO WAY he could have been looking at my record.
FRAUD-- FRAUD --FRAUD
Went to Walgreens and filled my prescription NO PROBLEM!

And if you had ever filled there before and had the same insurance for 12 years, he WAS looking at your record. You get a NEW card EVERY YEAR. New cards have NEW numbers, BIN, PCN, ID, and date codes. IF he had an OLD card then it WOULD show not covered when he ran it. And YES, unless you have a mom and pop insurance, there is ALWAYS an after 5 phone answered. ALWAYS.

I am a pharmacy tech and I work the close shift, and I have ALWAYS been able to get someone on the line after 5 PM. ALWAYS.

Customers like you are the very reason I left retail pharmacy. No matter what you do, no matter what you say, there will be absolutely no resolution in your eyes until you get to show your behind to some poor soul behind the counter. My question: why didn't YOU call the insurance company when you left the first time, especially since you suspected that nobody was there. Why not find out for yourself? Unless you have some off the wall insurance, chance are that there is a customer service line that IS open. After all, there are 24 hour entities such as hospitals, clinics, and round-the-clock pharmacies that require assistance after hours. Watch out how you act in pharmacies. We do put notes in to warn fellow co-workers of problem customers such as yourself.

Walmart service

My family has been customers of wal mart in Burleson, tx since the opening in the 80's...the new super center was a great welcome, but in the last several years we have had nothing but problems trying to get our script filled with good (even nice )...we are sick of it... My mother (69), father (73), and myself went into wal mart in burleson tx on sat. 9/15/2012 at about 1:15 pm, turned in a scrip to be filled -diabetes meds, needles and blood strips, and my mom told the girl that she had gotten a new meter that the needles are different, we even showed the girl the meter and the type needles it used, she put something in the computer and the girl said it would be an hour...ok we went ahead and did our shopping while we waited...we went to check to see if the scrips were ready before we checked out at about 2:30 pm, still not ready. We checked out, loaded our groceries in the car, went back in to check on our scrip refill, still not ready, we waited untill after 4:00pm and had to raise a stink to get it then, there were 3 other customers who had been waiting as long as we had, they were very mad as well. When we finally got to the car and the needles were the wrong ones even after we had told the girl we dropped our script off with that we had a new meter...there was only one checker in the pharmacy and not one person even the pharmacist said they were sorry for the wait...i have already moved my scrips to CVS and i told everyone there that day how great CVS is, they called me when my scrip was ready..i never have to wait in line and everyone is friendly and doesn't act like we are putting them out! The sad thing is i work for wal mart.

Walmart assaulting customers & discrimination

This crappy Wal-mart branch, a.k.a "The Ghetto Walmart", this store sure lives up to their image, managers allowing employees to verbally abuse &/ or assault customers (mostly men & african-americans) for unfair reasons and discrimination, safety hazards are often permitted, wrongful job terminations based on race are practiced, no disciplinary actions are forced upon negligent/horrible employees, and the main people who shoplift from the store, are usually -THE EMPLOYEES! Not to mention, very poor customer service (employees refusing to bag merchandise puchased by customers!) If you want your feeling hurt, go shop at the Wal-mart near deans bridge rd Augusta GA-

Walmart slave labor in china

Was watching TV at 3 am...On the current channel about how Walmart treats factory workers in China and South America...In China they make 17 dollars a day and have money taken out of there paycheck for rent and electric..They don't even have enough money left to buy a toothbrush...And in South America it is just as bad...And our government lets Walmart do this...It is just the worst thing I have ever seen...People should not shop at Walmart anymore...They also have no A/C in the factory's...The workers drip sweat from 7:30 am until 9 at night...They showed a toy car they make for Walmart and it cost them 18 cents to make and Walmart sells it for $14.95 in the USA...So when you shop at Walmart think of this..You are supporting slave labor...This company should be shut down for supporting these kind of working conditions...

"Our gov't let Walmart do this."

Uh, it's called private enterprise and we operate in a capitalistic system. If you didn't use any products made in China, your house might be bare, you might be cut off from communicating to the world and you might not have any clothes.

This is a classic example of why we shouldn't let half the population vote until they prove they are functionally literate.

Walmart empty shelves and rude employees

The cashiers are starting to be rude and ugly to customers. Plus the shelves are always out of certain items that you are shopping for! If the manager would get up off his butt he would be able to walk the grocery aisles and see for himself the empty shelves. This has nothing to do with the hurricanine that just passed either. This has been like this for over 6-7 months. There are a few cashiers that know how to be nice to the customers but there are many that are just down right rude and ugly. I think a class on manners should be taught to many of these people. Most of the ones that are rude are the women. One certain one has been there for years and she has been rude to people for years! Issabel I think I saw on her name tag today. She was so rude to my husband today that he went off on her. I was told they tell you they will call them in and write them up but nothing is ever done. She has been reported before because I know 3 people that had had dealing with her in the past. Plain and simple she is rude and ugly. I do not think she realizes with out customers she would have no job. I rather travel 20-25 miles to go to another walmart than the one right here in my town! When ever we go to the 2 walmarts in houma, la. Their shelves are always stocked with merchantize and the cashiers always talks to you and tells you thank you. Thibodaux, nope never happens! I personally think the cashiers know they can act like that and nothing will be done to them so that is why they continue to do it. Than the new ones comes in and sees the older ones act rude to the customers so they start doing it to! I do not need wal mart, walmart needs us customers to keep their stores open!
You can call my husband at his office at [protected] from 7am -2pm mon day - friday. Leave a message and a number and he will call you back as soon as he is in his office! Thank you!

It's obvious you're affiliated with Walmart and that's great, but the bottom line is; Walmart has lost touch with its focus on customer service, I. e. "management failure"! I for one rather pay a few penny's extra to have buggies available and adequate cashiers, not to mention someone to bag my groceries! And in most cases, I do avoid this establishment like the plague, BECAUSE their shelves are constantly empty! You won't find this situation at a place like Rouses or Winn Dixie!

Thibodaux Walmart issues continue! I visited the store last night and; 1) there were no carts in the store (the parking lot was littered with them), 2) they were out of the fuses i needed for my truck, and 3) the check out lines were the worse i've ever seen (non-hurricane) in any store. One customer could be heard yelling out loud "is there anyone working in jewerly today!" ... This is a typical management FAILURE, yet Walmart refuses to deal with it! ...I avoid Walmart at all cost!

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Believe it or not the Walmart in Galliano is even worse than Thibodaux's. Probably because one of the CoManagers (Joleen) used to work in the Thib store. Good luck getting stuff in stock that will never happen because unrealistic goals are set by management and associates are not allotted time to place orders because their automated replenishment system should be doing that. With much else at Walmart, it is faulty and would require human intervention. As far as associate attitude, as a former associate I can empathize with this associates. One can only be subjected to so much brow-beating, demoralizing disrespect and still put on a smiley face. I know in theory these people work in customer service and are expected to rise above and not let this effect their customer experience, but the constant intimidation and abuse has ruined these once pleasant people. I know first hand of troubled marriages, mental breakdowns, and radical personality changes that are a direct result of Walmart's mistreatment of associates.

Walmart racial discrimination & poor customer service

More Racism at Wal-Mart, This Time Over P.A. System: Wal-Mart officials scrambled to apologize yesterday for an ugly incident that occurred at one of their Aiken County stores on Sunday. Shoppers were shocked when an unidentified male voice was heard over the store's P.A. system, "calmly" giving the following announcement: "Attention, Wal-Mart customers: All black people, leave the store now." According to the AP, a manager quickly apologized for the remark, and it's still unclear whether a "rogue patron" or an employee made the announcement. But naturally, customers were a tad offended:

"I want to know why such statements are being made, because it flies in the face of what we teach our children about tolerance for all, " said Sheila Ellington, who was with a friend in the store, which is located in Aiken, SC. "If this was meant to be a prank, there's only one person laughing, and it's not either one of us."
On the other hand, Bill Mitchell, a former Walmart employee, told the AP that "as a black man, I've heard worse things." Wal-Mart brass says they're investigating to determine how this happened, and issued a statement saying, "We are just as appalled by this incident as our customers. Whoever did this is just wrong and acted in an inappropriate manner. Clearly, this is completely unacceptable to us and to our customers."

In February 2009, Wal-Mart paid $17.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit brought by truck drivers who accused the company of racial discrimination. And the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission also sued the company last year, because Hispanic employees at a Sam's Club subsidiary in Augusta, GA., claimed they were on the receiving end of racist insults from other "associates." All this comes as Wal-Mart has been mistreating customers, by very poor customer service; not bagging customers goods after they've spent lots of money at there stores, and sometimes- falsely attacking (assaulting & accusing) black shoppers of shoplifting!?!

According to an article in Crain's last August, "The retailer is likely to focus on poor neighborhoods where there is a pent-up demand for jobs and supermarkets." "Wal-Mart will look for support among communities of lower-income consumers who are eager to have them in the city, " said Kathryn Wylde, "We need jobs, and quality customer service for our money! Not Harassment, abuse, and discrimination of any kind!"

Walmart lack of management

I have never seen such poor management. Last night (and several other times) my wife and I went to your Roxboro store. You first lack the needed personnel, plus, ev ery chash register on one end was open and none at all on the other end leaving no means of theft control. Plus there was no door greeter at the door. That is an open invitation to shoplifters. Also, there is no consistency in product supply. You can never find many of the same items twice. Your management is costing you MILLIONS. I work as chaplain for the local police department and know how many times people walk out with multiple HD TV's and other items. Someone needs to wale up and get some decent management in this store.

Walmart over charging

At this point, I despise Walmart.
It started with the cashier who had a rotten disposition because she really isn't a cashier, she is a floor worker who was called up to ring because the store was busy. Not my issue or problem, you still have a job to do. I had to ask her 4 times if she was opened because she had some headphones in her ear. She was supposed to have turned her light on but did not do so until half way through ringing out my order. Which was the other issue.
I was purchasing toddler underpants. The bar code, ending in 4339, on the shelf stated the price was $5.24, yet it rang up as $6.97. I told the cashier the price was ringing in wrong so she tried to void it. Instead of voiding the toddler underpants, she voided a ruler and then added the toddler underpants a third time! It took her five minutes before she called someone over to help void the transaction and by then the fitting department, whom she called for a price check, still had not come up. So I ended up getting the information by walking back to the children's department myself!
I pulled the ticket from the shelf to prove the price. When I told the manager they may want to correct this, the manager said, " that's too bad but they really are ringing up the correct price, it's just that someone did not get back there to change the price." Really? The fact that the manager said that's too bad really got me. Too bad for who, me, I don't think so because as long as the shelf price says one thing, that is the price I will be paying.
I thought things were corrected but i was wrong. When all was said at the register I thought the total was too much for what I was buying. i went to my car, took out the receipt and totaled the receipt and what do you know? They did not void out two of the incorrect toddler prices! I was over charged by $14.50! Mind you, I had a 5 month old with me who had been screaming and a 3 yr old getting antsy and I had already put them in the car to go home. I had to be inconvenienced to go back into the store to get my money back and now I have to wait for the refund to go back on my card. I told the lady at customer service i was not happy about any of this and I wanted the number to corporate and the name of the cashier. Funny, they all walk around with a name tag and yet the customer service lady said they were not allowed to give out employee names! Go figure.
I have not yet called corporate but I will and honestly, anything less than a $100 gift card is a waste of my time. I have saved a copy of the receipt as proof of their screw up but I really don't see corporate doing anything about this. There are so many issues that need to be addressed..the cashiers attitude, the incorrect price ringing up, training the cashier on how to properly void a transaction, not letting the customer walk out of the store dissatisfied...did I miss anything?
It is very sad that a corporation like this could allow this and seems I am not the only one complaining about their way of doing business.
