terrible haircut
My boyfriend walked in and asked to get a hair cut. A 3 level shave on the back and sides, a 5 on the top. 1. The lady started telling him what he should get 2. She didn't do what he wanted 3. On side of his hair is cut in more then the other 4. The bottom part of his hair in the back is cut way to short 5. All of the ladies where sitting around talking, which then distracted the lady cutting his hair 6. She was hecka slow 7. Instead of blowing away the hair, she blew it right down his back into his shirt 8. She never asked him how he wanted the side burns 9. Didn't listen when he said to cut one spot and she cut another. He was so mad and upset he wants his money back for the poor service. Then the lady was complaining the whole time and wasnt focusing on him. Didn't even ask if he liked it or not
corporate policy
I was at your door at 8:58 this morning. The grouch in charge let me in but made it VERY CLEAR that she could not punch in the register my phone number until 9 AM! Never said Hello or Good Morning, just grouched until 9 when she punched in my phone number and did cut my hair.
I asked why she could do nothing before 9 and she said Corporate Policy!
Great. She could have been nice!
I got my hair cut at the Half Day Road (next to 318 where we get our mail)
but will think long and hard before returning to that location. She said they were individually owned. Hope the owner sees this complaint. I've been going there over five years but NEVER AGAIN. 9 am on Feb. 16th, owner: check who was on duty since she never said her name nor was anything but surly to me.

haircut
Stopped by my local greatclip salon to get a haircut. It was 5:30 pm and the sign on the door says that they will be open till 6:00 pm so thought good. As I entered the salon was told that the workers were getting ready to close. I said it was only 5:30 pm she said sorry but "we are cleaning up to close ". Why have posted hours of operations if not going to follow them
being skipped in line.
On Thursday, December 21, 2017, around 13:50 I went to get a haircut at the Great Clips store in Maysville Kentucky. I walk in and the three employees are busy, so like I normally do instead of stand there and wait I have a seat. Usually after the staff are not busy they will ask who needs to be checked in, this time they didn't. I sit for about 10 minutes when another lady comes in after me, she stands at the counter for probably two minutes. She then says "I've got two boys that need a haircut!" I guess this frazzled the staff member that came to the counter because she just quickly started entering their information. I speak up and say "I've been sitting here for like 10 minutes, " she replies "you didn't stand at the counter?" I reply "I've never done that when you all are busy and it's never been a problem."
So I wait until it should be my turn to see if the staff member fixes the mistake that's made and she doesn't. She takes one of the boys that were there 10 minutes after I came in.
I normally don't complain about things like this, especially if It's just a mistake but the fact that the staff member tried to deflect her mistake onto me by pointing out that I didn't stand at the counter shouldn't skip me in line when it never has in all the years I've been going to great clips. I'm very hesitant to ever go back now.
greatly dissatisfied with how my hair turned out after a trim
I went to Great Clips located at Sunset Rd., Henderson, NV for a trim. I even brought a photo of how I wanted my hair to look after the trim. The woman who did my hair cut the hair on top of my head & back very short, It is so unlike the photo that I showed her. She was in a rush & she kept cutting my hair while looking & greeting at customers who were coming in. My husband stopped going to Great Clips after they did a bad job on his hair. I should have gone somewhere else. I'm not going back to Great Clips ever again!

I told her I wanted the back of my hair alittle short but to not do anything with sides and top leave enough for curling iron. She cut my hair and it lookslike a mans hair cut. i asked her what the h are you doing. she said you wanted it short. i said the back only not the sides and top. this has been over a month ago and my hair has not even started back. it was almost shoulder length and i have to wear a hood cause it is embrassingk. i will not recommend great clilps to anyhone..
bad service
I received terrible service today. I explained to the stylist we were letting my 15 y/o sons bad hair cut grow out. I told her to use a 5 at the bottom. She doesn't acknowledge what I'm telling her and ask my son if he wants the shave up to the line. I asked her twice what line was she referring to and she ignored me. Then she proceeds to shave the entire side of my sons head where we were trying to fix and grow out. After I told her no and I told her that was wrong, she continued to ignore me and continued shaving. My son looked disappointed. She never apologized and asked him if he wanted her to texturize his hair. I told her no and explained he doesn't understand what that means. Why was she ignoring my request? It was as if I wasn't standing there.

The manager of this store is extremely inconsiderate and rude. She consistently parks her personal vehicle as close as possible to her stores back door, only approx. 3 feet from the neighboring door, also a business. This unacceptable behavior causes a safety hazard as well as impedes the deliveries of the business next door. This lady needs to be addressed, she is very bad at communications, so outside help is needed, perhaps someone she may respect because she appears to have none for those of us who work beside her store.

I went in to have my hair thinned out a little and more of a v shape cut and I got butchered. My stylist asked another to help her. The girl did one side then the original girl tried to finish the other side. theft
I went to great clips here in Longmont, Colorado up on Hover Road
Got my hair cut with a coupon of $6.99 and left $3.00 tip for a total of
$10.00 but when checked my bank account it read Great Clips had
charged me $11.99. I do NOT appreciate being stolen from. It got
addressed the manager is sending a coupon for free hair cut but
that is besides the point. No person should add extra to their benefit
and I am NOT a person that has money and everything I get is spent where
it needs to be spent without someone stealing from me...I am not a
happy person at this moment and yes it is just $2.00 but still.

Employee said my grandson had lice. Said his hair was "full of nits". My son-in-law was very surprised and couldn't see anything. My grandson was humiliated and burst into tears because this was in front of horrified customers. The hairdresser sold my my son-in-law a $50 lice kit. My daughter took him back to the store earlirr tonight and asked another employee, Jodie, to show her the lice. Where were these supposed 'nits'? Jodie couldn't find anything. Then, searching desperately, she said found one 'nit' in the middle of a hair strand. My daughter saw nothing. They were all rude. Terrible way to handle a nine year old child!
She might have mistaken dandruff for lice, and if that were the case I don't know how she got her cosmetology license.

Stafford great clips has brought there kids to work and you hear telling in the break room. I had the slowest hair dresser it took me a hour before my hair was done. You hear them talking about there previous clients and how they didn't want to do there hair. it's not a very pleasant enviorment and you can tell they don't care. My hair cut took long and still was not satisfied she did not ask me proper questions to what I wanted.

I just got what I thought was going to be a haircut at Greatclips on 23 Mile in Shelby Township, MI., and realized that this is the worst haircut I've gotten in my adult life, and I'm 44yo. Brenda rushed me through the haircut, I was in and out of the salon in 6 minutes. My hair will now need to be hidden under a hat for the next month, until I have enough hair grown back to be able to go somewhere else and get this disaster fixed.
I'M SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW. This lady (Brenda) should not be cutting ANYONE'S hair. I had been a loyal customer of Great clips for years, now I will NEVER go back.
This may have been an isolated mistake that she made. When you were there, did you ask for a refund or a re-do? You should be able to go back and have them correct it for free if I recall correctly.

I went to my previous salon in Stow, Ohio on Kent road which has closed and found a handmade sign that I thought was very unprofessional. Maybe if the sign wouldn't have been drawn in an unprofessional matter it wouldn't have been so upsetting. It was a tacky way to try and get more clients. I feel there is more professional ways to build a business and the sign was a lame way to try and do so. Especially since it was posted over a sign that already had information that I needed to see.

Her name is Chantel St Denis. She manages the salon in Schenectady at 3413 state street. She is 20 years old not even old enough to drink but has a drinking problem. Shes missed days of work cause she is hung over and has problems scheduling her staff. Giving the staff their schedule 2 days after the week as started. Or changing the schedule to suit her 2nd job at the bar. Also her girlfriend is in and out of the salon most of the day. just hanging out. Or chantel clocks out during her shift to pick her girlffriend up sometimes rolling the clock back. The salon is in bad shape cause of the horrible manangement. Not sure how a cooperation your size puts a 20 year old irresponsible mananger on staff. Look at your numbers for that salon. They suck and its mostly cause of the b.s. surrrounded by the mangement .She needs to stop drinking and do her job. Other stylist have left this salon, myself and 2 others because of her.

First off id like to say i liked goin to great clips. But recently they hv been very rude when u call there. I hv one certain girl i go to every time n i drive a long distance so i usually call to see if shes there. I understand no givin me her schedule but u can at least say yes or no if shea there or not.. The girl who answerd the phone today was rude. I knew the girl that cuts my hair was there today so when i calld i askd is she busy n she said yes. I said can u take my # n hv her call me whenever shes free. She said "what is it you want". First off that set me off. I wantd to ask her who she thought she was talkn to but i could tell she was young n uneducated bout how to deal with customers. Needless to saymy girl that cuts my hair never calld. She probley didnt even get my message or #. So i will not go back again (been goin for like 8 years now) its sad that this young girl lost a good customer for uall. inappropriate conversations among staff in front of child clients
I brought my 10 year old daughter into Great Clips on Saturday, Sept 30 @4:00 in Cranberry Tiwnship PA on 19 by Giant Eagle. There were 4 stylists. One of them started cutting my daughter's hair. Another stylist began discussing cross breeding humans? They proceeded to state that incest was cross breeding humans. The girl that was cutting my daughters hair then proceeded to say "Wouldn't it be awful if your dad told you your mom was also your sister?" Then they began discussing Italians and cross breeding. This went on for 10 minutes. I took my daughter off the chair in mid haircut. I told them I couldn't believe they were running a business, refused to pay for their services and left. I then proceeded to a salon with educated professionals. I will NEVER ENTER ONE OF THESE PARHEIC ESTABLISHMENTS AGAIN. My 10 year old is now asking me what incest is and how your mother could also be your sister. DISGUSTING UNEDUCATED AND PATHETIC

I Checked in on line at Calgary (Sundance) location on Sept 27, 2017. It was supposed to be zero minute wait. But when I arrived, one of the lady barber was just sitting in the front chatting with a friend while I have to wait 20 minutes before the other barber was free. Other customers that came in was told by the lady chatting that there was a 30 minute wait time and told to leave if they want. The Chatty barber keep talking and finally sat her friend down at the barber chair and cut her hair while telling new customer there was a 30 minute wait and turning them away.

your sign in online policy is stupid. advertised as WALK IN. when I arrive I am told we are waiting 3 on line sign ins to come in. she said it would be an hour wait. I came back and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. as I was waiting 3 on line sign ins came in and were taken back immediately, I would have sat there for hours. I walked out, not one employee asked me stay. I don't have a problem with on line sign ins. you should have 2 cutting hair for those and 2 for walk ins. you are telling the public walk ins are not welcome, we will get to you eventually . I will not be treated as second class. your staff on duty today were rude . I will never step foot in your business again.
