I am not an idiot believing in grassmarkers.com false sales. There are no phones anymore, no email anymore and no money anymore.. My mother is rolling in her grave that I was so stupid to believe there are people out there that take advantage of people in a spot. Stay away at all costs!

Wow did not see these reviews before ordering and I am so glad because I have nothing but nice things to say about Grassmarkers. Ordering was easy, reviewed product before production, two weeks late a perfect cemetery marker for my Mom. Marker was perfect. Standard size for markers. They will even contact the cemetery for you and check on regulations. Cost was $300 instead of $1100 at funeral home. I corresponded by e-mail only. Response was quick. My only problem, the marker was freaking heavy. In the picture there is plastic wrapped over the marker but lettering is perfect. Thank you for taking some of the stress out of my Mom’s memorial service.

Marker bought in 2013 is now unreadable. Email correspondence with co initiated in Oct 2018 & still ongoing. Marker has been cleaned numerous times as instructed with no improvement. They finally after months of communication agreed to replace it for the cost of shipping & were to let me know the cost, which they never did. They now say I need to ship the old marker back instead of paying shipping on the replacement.I guess it doesn't really matter which shipping I pay, just frustrated that my city does not have a fedex location to pack & ship & this marker is fairly heavy. I even asked about replacing it with a carved stone instead of etching & pay the difference as I feel it would be more durable. No response to that.

Grassmarkers.com is a Shell corp.. just like Granny in NC says.. Our family did business with them in 2015 Looks like Nothing has changed with this outfit. They promise you turnaround in 60 days.. Never have I seen a 60 day turnaround.. My Payment on American Express ... told me that they advised us if we didn't get our work in 60 days to CANCEL the Sale!.. Other companies that know your legal rights expire in 60 dyas, thats why they try to extend the sale... Don'
t fall for it... thats why they get you to sign that agreement before ordering cause they cant meet the "sixty day turn around period and it locks you in to doing business with them. Don't have anything good to say about this company... When your grieving I say deal with a local company in your area someone that has a place of bizness you can see... These folks on the Internet are RIPOFF artists.. just saying... wouldn't be so many bad comments on Yelp, Pissed customer Complaints.com .. if the reverse story wasn't true... Do your research on these people before spending 1 dime...

Sorry guys.
But I have only positive experience.
From the very beginning I've doubted myself, especially after such negative comments.
But I decided to try, and was benefited a lot.
From all aspects it was a great deal.
The communications was very timely, and responsible.
I've been mostly in email contact with Ganesh, then couple of times with Shay.
Finally they've done a great work, that allowed me to save couple of thousand (almost a half, comparably if I would order monument from Cleveland producers).
They provided monument with free transportation to the Cleveland cemetery, where local team made foundation.
I want to say couple of words about quality. It was just perfect.
Stone was 20" thick beautiful black granite, picture was engraved very professionally. Same as a text that we request them to put on the stone.
Now our relatives coming to the cemetery recalled as my mom was exactly in her 40th.
If somebody is interesting I will send him a picture of monument deeply assuring that it is true. Or you can call to the cemetery manager, I will provide you with a number, he will confirm that all was just great.
Our family appreciated Grassmarkers.com, and especially Ganesh and Shay for work done in memory of my beloved mom!

Took Five months NOt 60 days to get a Bronze marker with a Granite backing. to NC!.. Paid for in August 2016... Come October they claimed they were out of Granite to make them... Kept Delay, delay delay, till I contacted Lawyer who threatened to get the Attorney General of the States of Indiana & Georgia involved because he saw a "pattern of deception" by this company. Apparently Grassmarkers is a subsidiary of Stone Plans of Richmond, LLC or Indiana. And STone plans of Richmond is the only one with the BBB rating. All the other companies are subsidiaries. BBB has no rating on the other companies which is how they get away with having so many complaints that go unanswered. My lawyer says that if you have a problem you should complain to the office of the Attorney General in your state . If they compile enough complaints something WILL be done. They got my marker in two weeks AFTER I got a lawyer involved.. Just saying..

I ordered a stone for my parents in May. It's now September and I have nothing to show for it. Their incompetence is truly mind-boggling. First, they quote one rate, but then because the cemetery needs the stone to be a bit thicker, the price goes way up. I have a hard time believing that the cemetery in which my parent lie is that different from others in the country. That equals bait and switch in my book. Ok, fine, let's move on. Then I give verbal approval for them to charge my card and order the stone as they can't get that size from their quarry as they promised. After a couple of weeks I call to see what's going on, they are waiting for my approval. The approval I just gave them a few weeks earlier. I give approval again. They assured me that as soon as the stone arrives they will put it in processing. I call several weeks later, they claim the stone just arrived and they will put it into production right away. I have that in writing via email. Two weeks later I call again. I'm told it takes 45-60 days to put the stone into production. Finally I called again last week. They claim that they sent an email to me on 8/19 with the final photo. I never received an email. They sent another photo that day, which I approved verbally. I was told that the stone would be shipped out by last Friday. Today, I received the mysterious email that supposedly went out last month. I called to make sure the stone was sent out and was told by Jennifer that they were waiting for my approval. I am understandably upset, but even though no foul language was used, Jennifer decided to hang up on me. I called back and she wouldn't pick up the phone. It seems like that's the way these folks operate. They string you along so that you get so frustrated with them you want to tear your hair out. Their lack of any integrity is astounding! It's been nearly 4 months and I don't understand why I have to continue to hound them to do what they were paid to do.

After endless emails and email price quotes the price was doubled. I would avoid them at all cost!

After months of discussion and emails when we were getting final cost for the order the email quoted cost doubled. Avoid this company at all costs!

I've never had a problem getting a hold of a person, as long as I call during business hours and when I left an after hours message, I got a call back the next morning. The receptionist has never been rude to me.
As far as taking months to get it, they informed me of the time it would take to go to production, due to the fact that headstones aren't all they do. They are a huge quarry and have many jobs in production, so your on a list of priorities, first come first serve. People have a tendency of being demanding. Everybody expect what they want, when they want it, without taking variables of the situation into consideration.
Also, tone is everything. If you come across angry or demanding, your going to get rudeness in return, it's a defense mechanism.
As far as payment, I never had a problem with the payment. Put it on my credit card and that was it, but they're only human and everybody makes mistakes, besides, maybe it was Pay Pals mistake.
Sounds to me that you had a bad conversation the first time you spoke with them, so from then on you were on guard and expected to have a bad experience and an attitude towards the, which caused the whole thing to snowball.
People need to take a step back and take a look at each situation from the the other side and see what they would do or how they would feel in the other person's shoes.

Took months and months to get my husband's headstone! They STILL havent refunded an overpayment. The person who initially answered the phone was RUDE and unhelpful. I had to threaten them to get my product. They made every excuse in the world. You seldom reach a live person and only ONE individual was even embarrased when I talked to her about how the other woman was so rude. My husband died and the last thing I wanted was to be raked over the coals and having to argue with the marker company to get him a headstone - which I had paid for months earlier (they originally lost the payment and blamed it on pay pald). The beveled stone was not approved by the cemetery so I had to opt for a flat. I guess they will apply that credit to my headstone because I will probably die waiting on it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

You are what you claim not to be, cause I just got a stone from them and it was delivered.n They were very helpful and professional. So I don't know why you're spreading false info, but you need to stop.
