Grantsmoney.com impossibility to get a refund

I applied for a grants information a couple of weeks ago. After receiving infos, Ihave been advised to connect on the above website. I did so, or at least I tried to do that. I did not succeded at first. It took many tries before I could have access to all the infos. After reading a lot of these infos, I noticed that there was nothing in there for me. Then I had to leave for the balance of the week. When I came back, and despite the affirmation that I would be charged only US1.95, I was charged US56.71 on my credit card. After chating with two entities called Len and Nan, I was told to contact Refunds @grantsmoney.com. I could never get through. Consequently, I did not get my refund. Talking to these people is of no use since the operators are talking so fast that we just cannot understand them. Is there any way I can get a refund.

Grantsmoney.com fraudulent advertising and charging

Same as the others...I agreed to pay a nominal charge for a book that would help me obtain more information about Canadian Government grants. A few days later, I discovered more charges on my credit card. Naturally, I am not able to get any money back, as I can't seem to find anyone to contact at grantsmoney.com, but I have cancelled any 'membership' relationship with grantsmoney.com and have alerted my credit card company so they will be able to go after any additional charges on my behalf.

Funny thing is that I my husband nor I never agreed to a nominal fee and had never even heard of this company until we recieved an e-mail saying that we had registered. After calling we found out that we had been charged the $1.95 (non-refundable) plus another $57 and change charge that we had to apply to have refunded. My husband was overseas in Afghanistan when he apparently signed up for it. They had his full name, our credit card information and said that there was no way that it could be fraud because the credit card information had to be confirmed and all that. I told them that anyone could have gotten ahold of that number and it's called FRAUD. We contacted our credit card company and they said that they had recieved numerour complaints regardng this company and that they were going to reverse them and charge it back to them. They cancelled our card even though they said that there would be no further transactions just in case and are sending us a new card. This isn't the first time we have had a company do this to us. Luckily we caught on to it right away this time before almost $1000.00 was charged like last time. We are lucky to have such a great credit card company that helps us out when this sort of thing happens. We have the Canadian Tire Mastercard (Options). I no longer use my credit card online ever and am very careful where and when we use it at all for that matter. Some companies actually sell your information to third party companies...can you believe it. This sort of this is ungodly and I can't believe that companies are doing this sort of thing to hard working people. Good luck to all who have encountered this and are dealing with trying to get it stopped and refunded.

I agree with everyone that has taken the time to help warn the rest of us who are trying to get our lives on the right path and a new start for achieving our future financial goals. Do not subscribe to this bogus sight, as soon as you give the 2 dollar fee it will tell you they dont ship anymore and it takes weeks to get the program on line, by then they have bille you and over bill at that.

I just gave them a call and they said that the trial period was just for a day and here I was waiting for an email from them to confirm my minimal payment of 2.18. In the meantime they already automatically set me up for a subscription for I think a month for $64.39. Now I am at the mercy of the refunds department refunds@grantsmoney.com. Wish me luck with that. P.S. Unless you have some kind of master plan for a business of some sort don't even try checking on the website. They are after that $64.39 which I could have spent elsewhere.

I just registered to obtain a free trial kit for Money grants for 1.95 & received a call from my bank that 2 other transactions were placed on my credit card one for 44.00 & second for 67.00 which I did not authorize. I am asking for a refund & sent an e-mail to refunds@grantsmoney.com hopefully they will have some integrity & refund my money which again I did not authorize.

Grantsmoney.com refund

I applied for the government grant kit and paid the fee it asked for and was told i would recive a kit that would explain how to go about using the kit but it has been 3 months and I still never recieved anything from them except a username and a password that never workd and also a bill of over $200.00 witch was taken of a credit card and was not told about those fees.
So due to the fact that I never recived nothing but bogus infomation I would like to be reinbursed for all my money back.

THANK-YOU

I signed up for "free trial" for $1.95 USD and I just look at my CC and you took an unauthorized $45.17 CAD on my CC.
I'm expecting a full refund for the ammount overcharged.

Please answer this email quickly or I'll fill a dispute on you with my CC company.

Taking unauthorized ammount on someone CC is illegal.

Grantsmoney.com hidden charge

on april 10, i signed up for the 24 hours trial for $1.95 online. i cancelled it during the 24 hrs cuz i find the website has general and useless info. a days later i realised i was charged another $38.21 for the taxrefundguide. when i called them, i realised the tag-along product was deviously hidden in the fine print during the ordering process. they were not upfront with the sale and had to hide it and hope a few unsuspecting people will fall for the trick.
my 2nd complaint was : when i logged in www.taxrefundguide.com i further realised it was meant for US citizens and residents ! it was clearly fraudulent cuz the original grantsmoney program was advertised to canadians.

Did not receive any package. Did not get the information that was being looked for.
Sent an email to refund@grantsmoney.com asking for a refund.
The "Grant Treasures [protected] GBR" was on the credit card statement.

ALL ON LINE GRANTS ARE A FRAUD!
After much searching I found similar information on the canadian government web sight. And no method of applying for a grant.

I was skeptical about grantsmoney.com but wanted to see what information they had.

I read their web page and it 'looked' legitimate. I was to only be charged a small fee of $1.95 to access their site and look for grant information. The site I was allowed to access was for contractors and had nothing of intrest or use to me. I was lead to believe they had grant information for personal and small business use. I was later charged, within a few minutes, a fee over $40.00. I called to find out about the charges, and asked for a refund. I was offered an cancellation with instructions to be sent to me via email to ask for a refund. If they had fine print for the additional charges, it must have been microscopic. I hope that all who go to this site read everything twice and look for any loopholes that will allow them to access your account. It is easy for them to get your money, but they give you the runaround when you want it back.

On May 7, 2017. I went on your site by curiosity to see what you were offering. I agreed to 1.95$ for kit but it seems that you also took another amount of 45.17 cnd$
I don't know why. I never authorized that amount and expect to be reimbursed. My credit company called to advise me of those amount and the source thinking it was a fraud. I am thinking also that it is. You cannot take unauthorized money. It's illegal. I HOPE YOU WILL TAKE TIME TO ANSWER ME AND THAT WE CAN SETTLE THIS AFFAIR QUICKLY. Suzanne Gravel

Charge for grants kit listed @ 2.33.
Additional charge of 68.70 was placed on my visa without my authorisation.
Luckyearnings.com _phone # [protected] states that as I had failed to cancel within the limited time period a subscriber fee had been charged as per the fine print.
I asked for immediate cancellation and was given both assurance and confirmation # 228 5918 that this had been done. I was advised to contact Refunds@Grantsmoney.Com and to give them my confirmation of cancellation number to see if a refund could be granted. This is the site I ended up at.

ON 04/30/2017 I WENT TO THIS WEBSITE AND SIGNED UP FOR A 24 HOUR TRIAL OF THEIR SERVICE FOR $1.95. AFTER 2 HOURS I CALLED AND CANCELLED THE SERVICE BUT UPON REVIEWING MY BANK STATEMENT ONLINE ON 05/01/2017 I DISCOVERED THAT THE COMPANY HAD ALSO CHARGED MY ACCOUNT AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $38.21. I DID NOT AUTHORISE THIS DEDUCTION AND DEMAND A REFUIND IMMEDIATELY! I WILL ALSO BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU REGARDING THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICE. NONE OF THE GRANTS I SEARCHED FOR WERE EVEN STILL OPEN TO APPLY FOR AND DID NOT INVOLVE THE TYPE OF HELP I WAS SEEKING FOR APPLYING FOR A GOVERNMENT GRANT IN THE FIRST PLACE! THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER I WAS GIVEN FOR THE TRIAL SERVICE IS 2168708. THE $38.21 DEDUCTION NUMBER FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT IS [protected] GBDE.

Before I agreed to the $1.95 charge to use there their services for 6 months, I read all the fine print, service agreement, ect. I was expecting there to be a monthy, or other charge in the fine print somewhere. However I could not find anything saying that I would be charged anything else in the future, actually it gaurenteed me if I didn't find a grant within 6 months, I would be granted an additional 6 months free. I was charged the $1.95, which i received an e-mail confirmation on. The next day this company charged me $57.61, i received nothing saying anything about this charge. This charge overdrew my checking account & fortunately I happened to log into my online account & see the pending charge. I called the customer service number for grantsmoney.com asking for a resolution. The customer rep told me a refund will be granted & the money would be credited to my account in 3-5 business days. When I asked what I suppose to do about the fact that my account is negative, they took all my money not to mention the $35 overdraft fee I would receive, I was told that she could not help me. I then asked to talk to a supervisor, she also would not let me talk to anyone else at the company. I still have not receved anything saying they charged me anything, more then $1.95. I was able to work with the bank to get things as close to resolved as possible. However this company tried to pull a scam & now I am unable to do anything other then wait to receive my $57.61, in this economy that is alot of money.

Is this company ever going to refund anyone any money? I was charged for something not received and the price was $2.36, $46.30 and the latest was $69.33. These were in canadian funds on my Mastercard, which I am now going to cancel. Is this a government thing or what? If it is why are they not helping the Canadian citizens? Is this even legal? If it is Government, well I certainly will never vote again. This is the second time I have put in a complaint and asked for a refund, and it looks like it was wasted time on my part.

Grantsmoney.com unauthorized charge

On March 9, 2009, I was lured into this scam off an ad online, I quickly realized its services were useless to me and the advertising was completely misleading. I cancelled my account within 20 minutes of signing up and was informed that I would ONLY be charged the 2.50 Signup fee.

What do I get on my Visa bill? A charge for 50.42 to "taxrefundguide.com". I'd never even HEARD of this site and as a Canadian would have no use for it whatsoever!

I have demanded a refund but have yet to hear back from them. The woman in customer service spoke quickly and was rude and did not seem interested in helping me.

I expect my money back.

I lost my husband unexpentently on June 8, 2009. While on the internet I found this offer for $1.95 for help with getting grants for my youngest child to help in finding money to pay for college. I only authorized $1.95 and this morning I found they also charged my account $57.95 that was not authorized and they gave me some BS line that it was clear that it was only good for 1 day. I did this on friday afternoon and this is monday morning and since weekends are not business days I don't think they have the right to take money that is not authorized. I need help to get my money back since I don't have money to get nothing in return. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I, too, fell for this scam. On Aug. 19 I put the "fee" of $1.95 on my credit card for the "kit" and received a username and password. I waited for an email I was promised for the details about how to apply for government grants. To date, I have not received anything. I went to the site grantsmoney.com/kit and typed the username and password. I discovered that it was pretty much useless to me. I soon discovered that it is all bogus and found out people are being ripped off. So far I have not seen any unauthorized charges on my card. I called Mastercard the next day and had them cancel my card number - unauthorized charges is the same as a stolen card. Hopefully it works and I don't see any amounts show up that I did not authorize.
