Gow Real Estate review: Nobody in the office seems to know what is happening 3

We rented a property and were perfect tenants - we left the property in better condition that we found it. Yet, these people fabricated things that we had damaged - such as 'damage on the ceiling', 'stain on carpet', 'weeds' 'cat fur in a corner; this was after a professional clean and review by me, - it was a total fabrication. Handed the keys back early, and two weeks later we got notice threatening that if we did not rectify in 12 hours our bond was going to be kept. They have been rude, obnoxious, bullies and now I believe dishonest. Also, they forced us to use 'their' carpet cleaners, which cost double what ours would have. Steer clear.

Emails have been snarky and full of blame for us as tenants, when the fault lies with gross incompetence of the company. Even the secretary went to blame us for not receiving water bills. That they never sent us. I have been treated like a misbehaving child throughout the whole interaction. Any successful phone call to the manager (extremely rare) has resulted in condescension most inappropriate. When I was last called about having our bond returned to us (after hearing nothing for a week), the manager openly stated they had been 'dragging their feet' - for no reason. Lazy, lying, and incompetent. Telling us they'd emailed us bills that we'd never seen. Spelling my name wrong.

Please share your stories, and make this company improve its standards. No one else should suffer their staggeringly incompetent ways. Tenants are already treated like second class citizens when all they want is somewhere to live without persecution.

I had the same issues with turnover of staff etc. Very disappointed by the lack of respect towards both myself the owner and my tenant.
