To Drmo Battlecreek, Government liquidation and base CID Cheery Point NC my name is Nick Scavo i own the Military Store 210 west broad St. St. Pauls NC [protected] I have been buying Government surplus for over 30 years and never have I had a day as I did [protected] at Government Liquidation Cherry Point, I bought lot 6608 on sale 5409 (625) poncho liners as soon as I saw the boxes I new the count was wrong I have bought thousands of these over the years I told Randy I would have to count them picture on auction only showed one pallet I assumed other three boxes were the bigger dry wall boxes like they put G11 parachutes in as there would have to be an average of 156 liners per box to make 625, But for the benefit of the doubt I hand counted them total was 478 a shortage of 147 i looked harder and saw the boxes were marked one of five, three of five, four of five, and five of five, 2 of five was missing I showed Randy and he went over to drmo and checked to see were the missing pallet was it was not there, he told me I could turn the load down or take what was there and could not guarantee me that I would be refunded my payment of $2277.00 I asked him to call the military police or base CID as I wanted to make a report of this he said he would not I went over to Dremo and asked the Drmo Chief the same thing he said he would not call them I then asked the Dremo chief his Name that I was going to the front gate myself to contact the authorities he said he would not give me his name I said okay son Am 61 and call everyone son, turned around and started walking back to my van the Drmo cheief started yelling to Randy to get me off his Drmo lot everyone in the lot heard him I actually felt he was angry enough to come up be hide me if I had raised my voice to anyone there that day like he did to me they would have put me in handcuffs I went back and sat on my trailer Am a christian small business owner this was very embarrassing like I said in thirty years I have never had anything remotely like this happen about 8 MPS showed up to sort this out I do not know who called them after about 2 hours Randy comes up with a pallet of liners and by coincidence the box says 2 of five count 144 just 3 short of what I was missing, My question to Battlecreek is do you think a customer should be treated like this by one of your employees, I have a store and would never yell at anyone like this, My question to GL is if Am debarred from bidding anymore please let me know in written format this whole thing was very unusual and unsetaling to the CID I ask that you will please try to understand my dilemma, if I took the liners as they stood the profit from this load would vastly diminish I do this for a business not for fun, also I must have asked both Randy and the Drmo chief between 8-12 times between them to please call the military police if the Dremo chief wanted me off his lot bad enough to raise his voice so loud that anyone in a hundred yards could here him people came out of the warehouse to see what he was yelling about, why did he not honor my request to call the military police I ask that a case number be assigned me and this whole incident be looked into I will honer any request for an interview or polygraph thank you very much for your time i will send these three letters out certified [protected] The only thing I was satisfied with through this whole ordeal was that I received the correct number of liners
To the District Attorney Havelock NC, I have no idea if this falls under your jurisdiction if it dose not please disregard this letter, I was publicity humiliated in front of a number of people simply because I requested a policeman, I was in the Core myself joined when I was 17 started serving in Vietnam two weeks after I was 18, I have the highest regard for the Marine Corps am sure the leaders of Cherry point would not approve of how this was handled, I will send a copy of this to the Commanding officer of Cherry Point, I will include a picture of the pallet that showed up, pallet 2 of 5 count 144, something I want to clear up the 478 was my hand count if I went by the count wrote on the boxes you would get 625, once you included the new pallet that showed up, if this lot had been up to 40 short I would have accepted it and went on my way I have bought and paid for thousands of dollars of inventory from the government and never had to turn anything down, this is more about how I was treated thank you for your time.It has now been 25 days since I sent my first certified out I have received no response from anyone it is something how the government can ignore the small business man. I will look into posting this on line to get it in the court of public opinion thank you

WE HAVE BEEN BUYING FOR YEARS FROM GOVERMENT LIQUIDATION AND BEFORE THAT THE DRMS. THE PROBLEM WE ARE HAVING WITH THE GOVERMENT LIQUIDATION COMPANY IS THEY CHANGE THE ENDING DATES AND NOT JUST THE TIME TO PUMP UP BID PRICES. WE HAVE LOST MANY ITEMS NOT KNOWING THEY ADDED EXTRA DAY OR TWO TO AUCTION. I THINK THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED, WHY POST A START AND END DATE AND THEN CHANGE IT WHILE AUCTION IS IN PROGRESS. IT STINKS!
