Can someone please explain to me why all these amounts have been taken from my account? I signed up for a trial with your success kit. I never agreed to have these monies taken from my account. Please reverse the amounts below or I will have no other choice then to press legal actions against you.

Google taking funds without permission

I have been charge $72.21 from this company without permission out of my husband's account, in which we want a refund for that amount as soon as possible or there will be a lawyer contacting you in this matter, and charges being made for it as well. We don't take fraud very easy nor should people think that it is ok to take out money from everyone's account without our authority.

So please refund this $72.21, as well as $35.00 for processing fee bank into our account.

Sincerely, The Baker's

Google scam

I clicked on a link to make money placing links on a website. Originally it said I was to be charged $1.97 and I would receive a packet in themail...well sure enough the ### charged my $72.90 . I called google treasure chest.com [protected]. I spoke to a female and she assured me the charges would be reversed ...well they didn't reverse them. My bank reversed and google treasure ### .com re-reversed it. Now I owe $200.00 to those ###. Make sure if this happens to you, you get a persons name and documentation that they are in fact going to reverse the charges...###ers...

Hello!
I too was fooled by google tree, thinking it was a legit company with google itself...WRONG! That is why so many people get fooled I am sure. I feel the google company itself should do what they can to stop this crooked company from continuing their practice using the well known name of google. Seems to me that google would prefer to not be associated with these thiefs. But maybe not! Meanwhile I suggest two things here if you have been taken.
One: Try to dispute with your credit card company and most importantly, CLOSE YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT ASAP! You can always open another with the same company but will have a different charge number. If you have payments on one thing or another through your charge, not that difficult to make arrangements for any of that..well worth it. AND the nice thing is googlemoneytrashed CAN NOT charge you any longer. I was assured of that through my card company.
Two: There is a site you can go to called workathometruth.com that has a lot of good info on this company and where you can file complaints if you desire to do so.
Best of luck to you all! Dont feel bad...they did a very good job at making it all sound legit, cheap and easy to cancel if desire(and so easy to believe in this company due to the name they use..how do they get away with that by the way?!) so who would think google would cheat, right? I fell for the scam due to the name alone, I trusted that name of google, big mistake! I canceled in plenty of time...almost immediately when I noticed I never got an email from them confirming the transaction but I still got bit by them! Thank God my charge company is reasonable and is doing all they can to credit me and stop this crap altogther. By the way, they used the sneaky method of a different company name and toll free number each month but same charge so they could continue to charge me the $72, or at least they did with me. I am sure this is to fool your card company into thinking this is a new and different charge with a different company in case you complained. I had been successful in my dispute in the4 beginnning but they charged under a different name and phone number for two months after that! Pretty slick huh? So be aware of that. That's why it's best to close your card account ASAP.
Best of luck!

The most efficient and effective way to throw a monkey wrench into this scam machine.
(article from http://scam-googletreasurechest.blogspot.com/)
Steps to Take to Recover Your Money
1. Cancel your credit or debit card--Get a new card with new number! Your financial information has been compromised and you will be getting further debits to that card, If not now then they could come back later when you are unaware. This scam is refining into a form of "Identity theft" as your financial information is being traded to other cohorts without your permission or knowledge.
2. File a fraud charge with your credit card or bank and let them sort it out. They have more muscle to go after this sort of crime. Explain to them about all the consumer complaints that are on the internet and "insist" that they do charge-back or file a fraud charge. Your bank or credit card organization has all the tools necessary to find out where the charges are coming from, what business is involved, addresses and phone numbers connected to the charge and etc. You may not know or have access to this information. The banks and credit card org have all this at their fingertips and are obligated to handle the problem that has resulted.
3. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Their job is to monitor and go after these types of scams. http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/cmplanding.shtm
4. File a complaint with your state Attorney General and also with the Attorney General of Utah (where a lot of the phone numbers seem to be located)
5. Filing a complaint with the BBB is toothless as the scam already is rated with a "F".
6. File complaint at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx This is a place to report internet crime and is a combination gov agency of FBI, White collar Crime and Bureau of Justice Assistance.
7. Call your local post office and ask for the Inspector in Charge and find out what advise they have for this situation. This has postal fraud connected as the con artists use the postal system to send (or not send) the dvd through the mail!
8. After you filed with all the above agencies feel free to call any numbers you may possess that are connected to the "unauthorized charges" to try and recover all your money but take their word with a grain of salt. Don't hesitate to let them know what you have done or intend to do as they need to be shown that you mean business! If you succeed in getting your money returned you will have still taken steps to put their scam out of commission.

I read this and knew right away it was too good to be true, but it was all over news pages so I thought that maybe it was true... I was on the first website where it tells you NOTHING which was my biggest clue it was not true. I tried looking it up on the Better Business Bureau and it wasn't accredited and apparently the "company" refused when they tried to contact them. Then when I went back to the original website and was "contacted by an agent" who seemed more like a computer just generating automatic responses. I asked her questions about where I can do some research on it before I just give away my credit card information and she just kept saying to take the offer now and never answered my questions. Finally at the end she gave me a website called googletreasurechest.com.. I decided to check that out, that maybe there would be some terms and conditions or more information. I am so glad I did! That's where I read about the monthly charges they charge you! I couldn't believe that! Although, I really could. so I closed every browser I had open, thank God! I hope people look closely into things like this before just giving out their information. In times like these, stupid scams like this one thrive because everyone needs money, especially easy money!

My husband has been on the phone for over an hour trying to get hold of someone who will stop automatically taking money from our charge card. The credit card company will not assist and said that we need to call treasure chest directly. Funny. They no longer have a phone number. They only accept e-mails. I wonder why? Maybe too many caller complaints. If any one has had any luck with them, please post your success story.

I also found out today that I was charged for this monthly fee of $72.21, not only charged once...but twice (on June 1st and June 2nd, 2009) totaling $144.42! Of course, with times being hard financially this has hurt me tremendously. Not only will google treasure chest not refund my money...my bank (Bank of America) will not reverse the charges nor credit back the $70.00 they charged me in overdraft fees that were generated due to $144.42 being charged. I did have enough money in my account for my legitimate purchases had they not been "withheld" in order to cover the bogus charges from google treasure chest. Now, it will cost me $115.00 roughly to get my account in the clear...all this for ordering a DVD? It's absolutely insane, I never saw the terms and conditions for christs' sake! Why would you expect to see terms and conditions with the purchase of a DVD? I'm going to try to get my money back from both google treasure chest and Bank of America, I'll just have to speak to someone higher up on the ladder in hopes of resolving this. I thought I didn't have much before, barely keeping my head above water...well, looks like I died from drowning.
Hey, Zoey...please let me know how you handled your complaint...I need your help!

First I would ike to say I fell for this fraudulent crap. I normally do read everything that involves my money. I can assure you there was nothing at the time about a 72.21 fee for this crappy CD that you get in the mail. YOu think it is legit because for one, it is google and two, it was on my main page for Medicom. You think your service is going to not put fraudulent things right in your face. You know times are desperate and no you can't make money over night, but you can certainly spend a 1.00 for some info you think is legite to help you with suggestions. Believe me If I would have know I was goiing to lose 72.00 I would have never, never done this. I did not use a bank card from my bank I used a prepaid Visa I have, so I am now closing this account, which saves from the headache of more money comming out unauthorized. I would have never done this with my bank account! Anyway, My main question is why is there no legal action being taken with this. It seems as though hundreds of people are being scammed out of their money. This is very unsettling with me. When is the someone higher up going to get involved. I guess this is how these people are making there money and, yes, they are getting rich! I am going to try to get my refund. It will hurt me financially if I do not get it back, but I guess I have learned a very important lesson. I am still glad I did not use my bank card for this. Who knows what other amounts of money could of been taken out of my account. Someone really needs to get this taken care of as far as closing this business for good and making them repay everyones 72.21 back to them plus any fees that may have incurred.

I must say I am very happy that I visited this site. As I was trying to navigate away from the page a supposed to be real customer service rep tried to covince me to pay only $ for this product, So I began to ask a ton of questions until finally she got frustrated and gave ma an email address here. I wasnt too concerned about the $ it was my personal info I didnt want to share. Read the terms and conditions and I promise you wont just be paying a $or $2 for that matter!

I attempted this a year ago and there is a written statement in small print stating a monthly charge etc. I was not able to read due to my computer crashing. I was not aware of the charge until it appeared on my statement. I called them and I also called my bank and luckly received a speedy full refund. It was s total of over $1oo. You have to know how to state your case and how to legally handle the situation. It is important to read all fine print and know what you are getting into.

I started to get interested in the offer of $1.97 for the original sequence but later realized it was a come-on for further expences. I thought I had cancelled it correctly but got a call from my Visa card saying there was suspicious activity. Strangely I had gotten a call from an unidentified person wanting to confirm my unauthorized committment. He probably was a paid solicitor for Google Chest. I firmly rejected the offer! I am really dismayed at these practices-Google Chest shame on you! A fellow American. Stoneyriver

Google fraud/reversal of charges

I found something interesting on the Fresh Keyword Ideas website. This is the site that Google Treasure Chest is actually business as. From what I understand, Google Treasure Chest is one of the Businesses associated with Fresh Keyword Ideas. Here is the information concerning chargebacks and reversals:

Chargebacks and Reversals
We handle all chargebacks and reversals as potential cases of fraudulent use of our services and/or theft of services. In cases where we have provided a service and we have verified that a client has received a kit and/or received a password to our site(s), whether or not they have used the site in any way, possible actions taken by the company may include disabling access to your account, filing a complaint with the Internet Crimes Bureau or local authorities, or reporting the incident to the appropriate authorities in your state to investigate theft of services. All cases of chargeback requests will be vigorously fought by the Company. Please be advised that all activity and IP address information is being monitored on the site. This information may be used in a civil and criminal case against a client if there is fraudulent use or theft of services.

If I were you, I would go to www.freshkeywordideas.com and read the rest of this garbage.

Google april 14, 2009 &hooked me& today and I gave my credit card info & wish to cancel but cannot contact them.

30 minutes ago I bit on "Google Money Tree" scam & gave them my credit card details. Cannot find a contact to cancel them since I am sure it is a scam that I was rushed into by their claims that it was an opportunity that would be withdrawn if I did not hurry. My bank (CIBC) says that there is not much I can do but, if possible, they will help. I will print and save this note at 10:14 am April 14/09 R.J. Chapman

It took me about 20 seconds to realized I'd been scammed. ALL offers containing the word "Google" and "Money Tree" are scams --- no exceptions. When I hit the "Enter" button and my on line receipt was blank (literally) it was all the proof I needed. I called my VISA credit card bank within a half hour, FIRST CHECKED TO MAKE SURE NO CHARGES HAD BEEN POSTED, then cancelled all future charges from all sources until a new card number was issued and sent to me. Trust me, not having a card for 5 days is a good thing, and a permanent reminder. While waiting for your new card, make a list of all the legitimate places where you have automatic charges, contact them and tell them that as soon as your new card arrives, the info will be updated.
Remember, ANY ON LINE LOCATION WHICH DEMANDS YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO "just to cover shipping and handling" IS AFTER YOUR CARD DATA. Period. Run, don't walk away from them. I received two more "email "offers" today: One from "Google Guide" and the other from "Google Exclusive" WITH A COUNTDOWN CLOCK AND SLICK LAYOUT, which is typical of the bait. Good luck to all.

Google did not receive product paid for

I came across a pop-up ad for the Google Success kit on my Yahoo mail sign in page.

I read it, I liked what I read and so i ordered the disk. It was supposed to cost me 1.99 for S&H.

When the disk came, it was from google Treasure Chest and contained a lot of information such as "how to write copy" for ad's and how to setup a web page etc. Not only was this information not what I ordered, it was not organized in any semblance of a step-by-step instruction format

This is not what I ordered so I called "google treasure chest" to have them send me the correct disk...well, it turns out they didn't have anything to do with the Google Success Kit" AND, they were charging me $79.00 per month to be part of their club!

I NEVER signed up for their club, I NEVER agreed to their terms and conditions and i certainly NEVER agreed to pay them $79.00 a month for information i did not order.

The customer service rep at google treasuer chest gave me a number to what she said was the google success kit customer service...i called the number...it turned out to be the "cancellation" department for the google success kit...and they (the success kit cancellation dept.) did not have the number to the "ordering/purchasing" department.

MY GOD, if this is how google is doing business...or, if they are not keeping a closer eye on the people they are allowing to market their name...there is going to be a HUGE Class Action Lawsuit headed their way.

So, the customer service gal at google success kit cancellation department gave me a website to go to, it is:
www.earncashfastwithgoogle.com/indexlogin

USER NAME: insider832
PASSWORD: 9ACCESS

I haven't been to the web site yet so I have no idea what I'll find there but I felt it important to tell others what happened to me when I tried this service. Hope this helps others.

>>MY GOD, if this is how google is doing business...or, if they are not keeping a closer eye on the people they are allowing to market their name...there is going to be a HUGE Class Action Lawsuit headed their way.

google for some reason doesnt care that con artists use their name to scam people even though Google certainly does have a TM next to it... dont know why they dont seem to care.

anyways these places you are dealing with are all the same company, they purposely make 'mistakes' like this because they are hoping thatby causing mass confusion you will eventually get fed up and just say screw it, keep the money (like they would ever give it back, anyways.)

one thing you can do is cancel your bank card if you think they might attempt to charge again (oh, and they WILL attempt to, believe this. Your account number is in the hands of blatant fraudsters.)

They are not actually based in this country so a class action lawsuit would result in a whole lotta nothin. Any entities here in the US are just facades that can close up in an instant.

Be sure to fill out a complaint where it really will help in tracking these con men.
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

at least then, the government will have a record of the fraud. Dont bother with the Better Business Bureau, your complaint just gets forwarded to the company but after 13243 complaints, I dont think the company is really caring about customer satisfaction.

Google scam

Sorry to everyone whom have been taken by this company, shame on them. I just wanted to give you some information that might help you get out of this mess. After reading this board on Saturday, I called my bank to see what I could do. At first they told me that I could cancel the fee but since I had only paid the $1.97, I did not want to be charged $30.00 fee to cancel $1.97. They told me if any other charges came in, I could have those charges reversed and at first that was good enough. I decided that I did not want to run the risk of the $72.21 coming out so I cancelled my credit card, and it was a good thing that I did. I contacted the company today (Monday) and the Rep. told me that the $721.21 charge was declined because my credit card was inactive (this was 10 days after I signed up and had not received anything from this company including an email confirmation that I had signed up). CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW! You do not want to continue having the $72.21 taken each month.

Here is where those of you might be able to get some satisfaction. While the company information may be hard to find, I found it for those wishing to contact the Better Business Bureau in Utah. The company's name is Fresh Keyword Ideas. They are located in Orem, Utah 80457. The website is www.freshkeywordideas.com. On the website it states that you can cancel by contacting them email. I would suggest that you contact them by phone [protected]) to cancel because I do not trust anything this company says. Please remember that you have to cancel within 5 days to make sure they are not trying to pull a fast one. Also do not wait to see if you get the CD because it has already been 10 days and I have not received anything from this company and do not expect to do so. I do not know about the rest of you, but I want my $1.97 back because they charged this fee for shipping and handling and they mailed nothing.

What I am hoping is that a class-action suit be lodged against this company, I for one will be more than will to participate. - Good Luck, Desiree

For everyone whom was taken by this company, even for $1.97, here is some information that I hope will give you piece of mind. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Utah, which in turn contacted Google Treasure Chest and instructed them to respond by April 28, 2009. Here is Google Treasure Chest's response:
On April 24, 2009, the business provided the following information:
Contact Name and Title: Google Treasure Chest

Dear Sir/Madam:

GoogleMoneyTree.com wants our customers to be successful and satisfied with our products and services. Our policies and procedures help us ensure that we meet these vital goals. We have a policy which states that the terms of the agreement will be fully disclosed before the transaction is consummated. To accomplish this policy, all terms and conditions (T/C's) are posted clearly and conspicuously (immediately adjacent to where the customer enters their financial information) and in order for the transaction to be completed, the customer must affirmatively consent and agree that they have reviewed the T/C's and that they agree to be bound by the T/C's.

According to the T/C's, each customer has seven days to explore the entire website without a subscription charge. They may cancel at anytime during the trial period to prevent from being charged for their monthly subscription. However, if they cancel their monthly subscription after the allotted time, they are not entitled to a refund. Nonetheless, they may, have access to the members' website until the expiration of their subscription.

In addition to the T/C's, each customer receives a welcome email thanking them for their order and providing them with their username and password which grants access to the members' website. Also, a customer support phone number appears in the T/C's (along with our support email address) as well as on the welcome email. Finally, the T/C's and contact information are found on the members' website under the hyperlink entitled ''Contact Us.''

In conclusion, we believe that our policies and procedures are legally sound and reasonable, and that our agreement with this customer is enforceable. However, we have made a good faith adjustment and refunded this customer the entire cost of $1.97 on April 24, 2009. We believe that no further action on your part is necessary. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Google Treasure Chest

My suggestion to all would be to file a complaint with the BBB in Utah and request that your money be refunded. One thing to note is that I informed the BBB that I neither received an email confirmation nor the CD, which I was charged shipping and handling to receive.

Good luck to you all - Desi

I also was scammed by this company, FRESH KEYWORD IDEAS. I received my Aug bank statement and had a debit of $72.96. In Aug I called and spoke to a rep @ [protected] ( since then I have learned there are more numbers they have). The rep was friendly and patient and agreed to credit my account and close the one I had opened. However, the intially agreement was that it could take 3 weeks to get my funds. This did not happen in 3 weeks, so in a month I called back. This rep told me the intial rep did close my account but that she had indicated the funds were ALREADY refunded. Of course, being upset. I advised them if it had been refunded already I wouldn't have them on the phone now. This rep gave me the "headquarters" number, advised me to call them to follow-up. I called that number, spoke to another person who gave me an email address and a fax number to send proof that I had not received my refund. In between working and attending college, I did not get around to emailing or faxing, so therefore the information was misplaced. I finally got around to calling them a few weeks ago and SURPRISE SURPRISE, this "headquarters" number no longer exists. This last rep told me, several times, the customer service number is the only number they have. But he messed up: the initial number I called was not the number he gave me. I caught him in a lie and the line went dead. To those of you who have been had by this company, keep on them for your money, but also contact whatever companies you have to. These scam artist will not stop until the light is shined on their little operation. Good Luck to the rest of you!

I found that my credit card has been charged $72.96 US per month for the last few months.

Today I phoned my credit card company to ask what the charge of $72.96 US was for. The Credit Card rep. gave me the phone number. I phoned the call centre and they removed June's charge.

However, I am still charged for April, and May (2 x $72.96). I checked my records. I don't remember the website. I keep a desk calendar, word files, email filefolder. I keep excellent records.

I can only conclude that they are dishonest. FRESH KEYWORD IDEAS.com. I will continue to pursue this matter.

hi,

same story as as you ppl mentioned.I guess they also have a partner in crime named Iplan Financial.com, they are exactly the same for only their charge on my cc was $32.96. I called both of them a couple of times for refund and they told me to write a letter to their head office in Springville, Utah and after doing that i got a negative reply denying any sort of refund.
I guess i wasnt surprised thats what I expected from these fraud companies. I am pretty sure I read their terms of service as well and no such thing was mentioned in there (atleast clearly). So in short i got ripped of by two companys who shared my personal information for a a total of $100+.

How to prevent anymore charges?
Call your bank and inform them about it that you have cancelled with both those companays and keep all documentation (cancellation numbers and one of them does send you a cancellation confirmation email) if need be to dispute the charges. It has been more than a month now and I havent seen any charges after I cancelled.

Why we all got ripped off?
I guess it was because Google's name was used and we wanted to get rich faster than the others ;-).
The saying goes a long way "there is no short cut to success"

Hey Everyone,

Your complaints are going to Utah because that is where the all center is located, not the actual business, Google Treasure Chest.

The call center gives this address for the company. Too bad tt is a drop box at a UPS store in Jackson Hole, WI:

Google Treasure Chest
970 West Broadway
Suite E 347
Jackson Hole WI, 83001

These guys are running a scam, but have hired the call center to run it for them. Does anyone know the name of the company running the call center? If so, post it here and it will put pressure directly on them. All the numbers provided end up at this call center. I have spoken to two different idiots today and they will not give up the name of the company.

If they are forced to drop these guys as a client, then they will have to stop ripping people off. Frankly the people at the call center are just as culpable in my opinion. Call and harass them! The one thing these ### hate is when you waste their time.

I was charged the $1.97 for the kit and when a representative called he was told not to charge anything else until I spoke to someone that could answer my questions. No one ever called. I found a 79.95 charge on my credit card and called them back to let them know I wanted a refund. The lady I spoke to told me that was fine and even gave me a confirmation number. I waited 2 weeks because she said it would take 7-10 days and still did not have a refund. I called the company back and the man on the phone said he would send it through with a rush. Then I was charged another 38.34 one day and the next day I was refunded the 38.34 and they are saying that is my refund. I wish that I had researched a little further before signing up for this one.

I just spent half an hour on the phone with a company rep trying to get the $72.92 fee reversed to no avail. I can't believe that a company is still getting away with this! It's completely immoral and HAS to be illegal. The whole thing is ridiculous and I would be MORE than happy to participate in any way I can to keep them for scamming more people and make sure they pay proper reparations.

What a load of garbage. We never even signed up for the service, and we got charged twice! Now they won't give us a refund because we are "beyond the refund date." The charge showed up on our account YESTERDAY! We're working with the bank and cancelled our cards, but I really really dislike this company.

Google fraud - internet scam

*** BE WARNED** Google Treasure Chest is by far the most misleading FRAUD proliferating on the internet today. These scam artists are playing to the desperation of people thanks to the economic woes of the country. I was charged the $1.97 reduced price if I ordered their CD for making extra money via the internet, I am unemployed so I thought I would try an at home work situation while I look for viable employment. Not only did I not receive the disk, I now have an additional charge of $72.21 on my debit account.

Now here is the kicker; when I contacted my bank, the only information provided to the bank for the charge was a statement, "For Refunds call 866-957" no other information was available. My bank had to cancel my debit card to prevent further withdrawals by these fraudsters. I have filed a complaint and expect a full refund via my bank. I have since found the rest of the number to call, it is [protected]...but nobody answers and there is no voicemail options.

Google taking money from my wal-mart debit card monthly without permission

A few months ago I looked into Google Cash but after checking them out I opted out. I not only never received any materials as promised but they are taking $39.95 a month out of my debit card account. Actually they put it through twice in March, not just once.

I have complained to Walmart Money Card once, asking for more information on the charge (no answer) but did not actually dispute the charges until today, 3/13, because I wasn't sure what the charge was for originally.

Evidently, GOOGLECASH IS A TOTAL SCAM!

I seen an ad to sign up for a free Google Success Kit, just pay $1.95 for shipping and handling so I signed up. About 30 mins later I got 2 emails saying I would be charged something like $39 and another charge for $78. I phoned and cancelled it so they better not charge my credit card. This must be a rip off.

I can not believe what a scam these people can get away with. I was also charged $1.97. I called some number, don't even remember what number it was and they told me to send the foolish CD back to them and I would get a refund. RIGHT! You never get any refund just more charges to your card. You talk to some foreigner and all they tell you is you cancelled too late. These companies should show a red flag to the credit card and not be allowed to charge without your permission. Maria

I saw this advertisement for earning good money working from home with basic typing skills to qualify, so I filled out their form, but before I could get any information about who or what I would be typing for, they wanted all of my credit card information which I refused to give them before they answered my questions; I was about to close out of that website when a live chat box came up, and I thought at least they cared enough to answer my questions, but that chat box only served to tell about some extreme savings on shipping (for God knows what?) only if I took advantage of this offer today, not tomorrow. I proceeded to tell that chat person I would not give out my credit card information without knowing this other information about who and what I would be typing for; and all that chat thing could do was to keep on repeating that same thing, so I highly doubt that was even any type of live chat at all, and that it was fraudulant - they said my complaints were "understandable" but..., still didn't answer my questions and went on again about their extreme shipping discount.
It appears that nobody is really monitoring this website whatsoever other than taking money from these credit cards; something should be done to stop this from happening. I had somebody like them start taking unauthorized money from my account before and it got me into some very big troubles with bank fees because I am disabled and live on a fixed income; so I only live on a very meager wage - so if there are fees, they could even shut down my account - so I wouldn't any longer have anywhere to cash my check without paying quite a bit of it to the cashier who does.
Please get on these kinds of people - it's got to stop some where!

I too agreed to pay $1.97 for INFORMATION about making money by posting ads. What I did NOT agree to was looking at my bank account online and finding a charge for $72.21 from these people. I did NOT authorize this charge. Why, if there are so many complaints about this, aren't they being shut down, investigated and prosecuted? I hate that I will have to probably close the account and open a new one to avoid any more MONTHLY charges I didn't authorize. These people should be f***king SHOT! I hope they all ROT in a prison somewhere and I hope all their cell mates f**k them in the A*S... like they did to so many others. As you can see I am really P.O.d. I ordered a free kit from Google Success Kit for $1.00. A week later I received a charge of $11.95 to my credit card.

I called the company and they said that when I signed up I agreed to to a one week trial, which is NOT true. Nowhere on that sales page does it say anything about a trial.

You first go to pay for it and it says it will be $5.95, for SHIPPING ONLY, no other costs, I declined and went to back out of offer and one of those automated agents came up and said how about if we only charges you $1.00. Well, it would be stupid if I didn't try it. So, I clicked on the link paid for it a chg. for $1.00 showed up and that was it.

I anxiously awaited for my disk to show up in the mail and nothing. That day I received an email with an access code in it to take a look at their site. There were Free to Download items there. Very cheesy stuff I must admit so, I figured I would bookmark the page I might need it when the disks arrive.
About a week later I noticed that there was a chg. of $11.95 from Google Success Kit and I called them. The woman on the phone said that there was some kind of 7 day trial, I asked where the disks were and she stated that the disks were out of stock and would be shipped to me as soon as they become available.

Well, needless to say I was steamed. I demanded my money back again and she said she couldn't do. I got a supervisor and the same thing.

Now I know why they don't use Paypal. They would be out of business QUICK because Paypal gives the refunds immediately upon disapproval and with as many complaints as this company has.

So, now I'm out $11.95, it's Christmas and no gas in my car. Great.
It's not worth going to the bank. With all the paperwork involved it would be 60 days.

If there is anyway somebody with this can pull some strings and get our money back that would be great.

Thanks.

I was charged 11.95 after the initial ($1.00) on my credit card which is tied to my bank and this and a government grant program which I was also charged 11.95 for. There was no literature that I could see that indicated I would be charged this.

It wouldn't be so bad if the charges didn't cause overdrafts in my account costing me over $70.00

The total charges are $75.80, this is ludicris. Identity Theft was 9.95, fraud 4.95, the kit two times for 29.95 and of course the $1. I had canceled everything a month ago and still charging her. I want every cent put back into her account and plus interest. I just called and the money I paid in already is non-refundable, which is bullsh__. I ordered google money tree on Feb 4th. i recieved a phone call from a call center represenative. He claimed to be a google moneytree employee. He spoke with me a bit about the product. I had told him that I did not recieve the product as of yet and he told me that I should be recieving it any day now. Well at the time of me ordering it i was unemployeed. Well when i recieved the call from the rep I had found some work. So i told them I nolonger needed it and didnt want to become a google money tree member until i recieved my disk and actually used my 7 day free trial. He stated that he would make sure there were noadditional charges to my credit carduntil I called back in and signed up. He also transfered me to another represnative that turned out to be one of those companies that help you get your online buisness started and start booming. Wellanyways i turned that offer downas well.

Well 2 months later there is a 72.00charge to my bank card, not only that but there was one last month as well. Since my job requires me to travel, ihad no idea about the charge last month since i wasnt home to check my bank statement. Well i find out today that i have been charged 140.00. Which normally i wouldnt care since i make enough money. But some other things have come up and thinking that i had 140.00 extra in my account i thought it was np.

To make a long story short, my check bookwasnt balanced correctly and now i am negative 750.00 in my bank. To make matters worse, because i couldnt put gas into my car I couldnt go to work, and now if i miss tomm i will be fired. On top of that my car payment didnt go through and so now i am late on my payment and its close to being repoed. I also have a child support payment that didnt go through and now i am behind on that. So this is the damage that has come of the fradulent charges to my account.

Does anyone have any idea what can be done? I have called all 3rd party companies involved in this and noone is willing to help.

Google fraud unauthorized charges

Hi my name is Joseph Meredith from the state of Michigan, I just received my bank statement and I was surprised to see where Google Treasure Chest took $72.21 out of my account. I was unaware they were doing this. I called their customer services line and the lady told me she could not return my money because 30 days was up. I told her I did not know they were going to take this money out and I want it back. She became rude with me and would not allow me to speak with her supervisor. How can I get my money back? My email address is [protected]@avci.net. Also beware of videoprofessor they will take $189.95 out of your account and you will have a big fight on your hands. Please everyone who reads this do not fall for the YOU WON $1000.00 WALMART CARD OR THE VISA $500.00 CARD THESE ARE SCAMS.

I totally understand where all of you coming from. The exact same thing happened to me tool. I was charged a total of $203.00 from my bank account. It was from Google Treasure Chest, A1 Member, Safelock ID, and Grants Master. All I did was purchased a CD for $1.97 which was paid toward shipping and handling. And a couple of weeks later I was charged $72.21 twice. Safelock ID charged me $38.84, A1 Member charged me $24.87, and Grants Master charged me $24.87. I'd finally realized that it was a fraud. I called to the number that was provided in my bank statement. I demanded a refund back. They kept on leading me on with all these ###, stating that I will get my money back within 7-10 business days. It has been 4 weeks and I haven't seen a penny from there. So, I went to my bank and file a fraud dispute upon those companies. I canceled my debit card number and asked for a new card. My bank refunded back the money that was taken out of my account. They told me that they will deal with those companies. Let your bank deal with those ###ers.

Do not listen to these people who state this is not a scam. They are plants from the company Google Chest. The only way to get your money back is to go to your credit card company or your bank and tell them this company is a scam and you did not authorize this charge and you want a CHARGE BACK. This is the only way I have been trying to get my money back since May 15th. I have been to the Attorney General, BBB and the FTC.. The FTC stated that everytime they track them down and get to the address they are gone. They are very good at what they do. Forget trying the upteen numbers. They give you the run around to tire you out and keep your money. It is to much paperwork and they have to prove their service or product to keep your money on a chargeback. See this ABC News Video on Google Treasure Chest Scam http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/special_reports&id=6873047
That is the only way. Go to the Fraud Dept. of your bank, file a claim for a charge Back. That is the only way you will ever see your money again.
But first always call a nd cancel this service or they will keep charging your credit card. That is first and foremost.
There numbers are: Google Chest [protected] Grant Springs: [protected] Safe Lock: [protected]

Good Luck...

I also was scammed. After too much internet strolling, I came across this Google Treasure Chest( Blazingkeywords.com) I felt that 1.97 was a steal for a CD that could make me money, even if it was half of what they discussed. I found out about 6 days later that my Card had been charged 72.21. Luckily I check my account almost everyday online, and I immediatly had a gut feeling it was the Google Treasure Chest. So I searched google for 72.21 charge and Look where I ended up. I then called them directly and demanded a refund and cancellation. The woman I was on the phone with was polite and cancelled my subscription and told me that I would get a full refund withitn 5-7days. To be 100% sure that no re-occuring bills, from either BlazingKeywords, Google Treasure chest, or a recent email I recieved from GrantMastersOnline.com would happen again, I contacted my bank and had them cancel my card and issue me a new one as well as opened a fraud dispute against Google Treasure Chest. I suggest everyone who has fallen victim to this scam to do the same, since there are so many follow up subscriptions that seem to be attached. Good Luck.

I too fell for the scam. I found the website via Facebook. I was charged $72.79 for a subscription to Google Treasure Chest. After calling the [protected] and waiting for 20 minutes I was told by the guy that I would have to write a letter and ask for a refund. The address is 970 West Broadway Suite East 347 Jackson, Wyoming 83001. Today is May25, 2009. Then, Grant Springs charged $25.07 for something and I had to call [protected]. I was able to get someone that said I had called in time to get a refund but it will take 7-10 days. THIS IS SUCH BULL!

I, too, followed a link from a Facebook page (I think it was the Kevin's Blog thing). I normally wouldn't order anything like that, but after thoroughly scanning the "offer" and not seeing any fine print that tells you that they will charge you more later on, I went through with it. It was only $1.97, right? I got my credit card bill and saw the 2 charges: $1.97 and $72.21. There wasn't even a real company name; it was something like "For Refunds 866951." WTH?! So I contacted my credit card company and disputed the $72.21. They credited it; no problem. I sent an email to the address listed on the CD (which I received 2 days after I got my credit card bill!) asking them how I could return the CD which was never opened or used and get a refund. Of course I never heard from them. Then, about a month later, another $72.21 charge appeared (this time with a different company name "MONY TREE"), which sent my account over the limit, so I also incurred a $30 overlimit fee. I contacted the credit card company again. I pointed out the different company names, which just smacked of SCAM to me and I also sent them a copy of the email I sent to Google Treasure Chest. They refunded the $72.21 and the $30 fee. I called the 800 number on the CD and I got some woman telling me the same stories they told most of you: the charge is automatically added 10 days after I ordered the CD, I had 30 days after that to cancel (which I apparently didn't do) and they couldn't refund the $72.21. I asked her how they could possibly know when or if I ever even received or used the CD. That didn't matter. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she wouldn't transfer me. She said all of this was in the (non-existent) Terms and Conditions and she would cancel the "subscription" but she couldn't refund any of the charges. As with any charges you don't recognize or did not authorize, contact your bank or credit card company right away and provide as much information as you possibly can. I thank God for my credit card company. No hassle, just the help I needed!

BEWARE! Not only do google money tree/ google treasure chest take you for your 72.21 but they also sign you up for two other programs without your knowing SafelockID and Grantsprings. When you call to cancel the google scam they will tell you that your safelockid is canceled. But, you need to call Grantsprings. But check this out when you call grantsprings the guy Jonald told me that he did not know what Grantspring was and that his company was called product research network.com. He claimed I signed up with them the 23rd of April which is a totally different date than when I signed up for the google scam. If you do not cancel with them they will bill you $36.77 monthly. So Please Be Aware!

I was taken for 72.21 twice. I called complaining that this was fraud to some obviously underpaid customer service rep. I demanded to talk to a supervisor whom I was told didn't take phone calls. I wonder why? Their practices are deceptive and shady and altogether unprofessional. I will file a case with the Utah BBB. Worse, they sold my info to some eBay outfit out of Idaho who tried to pressure me in to givin them $1700 to become a powerseller on eBay. Watch out for these snakes. I wish I would have found this site before I paid $1.97 for some BS CD that I didn't even use and then the $72.21 x 2 that was just a rip-off. I've filed a claim with Chase to try to get my money back...

I just called [protected] to find out why they charged my account prior to receiving the CD. They said that I checked a box agreeing that the monthly charge would be after a 7 day free trial of their WEBSITE, not their CD. This is all just a b.s. scam. If everyone who went through this process realized it and cancelled it immediately, that would still be $72 bucks a person. That's a lot of money to employ the "customer service" people making minimum wage to hit the cancel key.

I have had two amounts deducted from my account without my authorisation.
20/2/09 $1.57 and 28/02/09 $62.85 and the description on my account was Google Success Kit.

I remember looking at this information but at no time did I authorise any transactions or sign up for anything on this site.

I want my money refunded.

Google these people are frauds

I ordered this kit from google, and they said it was only $2.17. Nowhere did they say anything about charging &75 a month. I got my bank statement and there was the charge from google with a Utah phone number. I called the number and the guy gave me a different number to call. I called that number and got customer service. I explained to them that I wanted to cancel my membership and they give me alink, which is www.millionairemission.biz/cancellation.pdf, and much to my surprise no form comes up for me to fill out for cancellation. I call customer service again, and they tell me that they have to e mail me the form which could take up to two days. By the time I get their form, if I get the form, my seven days will be up and I will be charged $75. I have cancelled my credit card, so therefore they cannot charge me anymore, but I have read a lot from people who is having trouble with them as well. I just want to know why is the Utah number on my statement. My financial institution says that is the person who took my money. His number is [protected], and the number he gave me was [protected]. These people should be stopped from scamming people like they are. There are numerous complaints on them, so why are they still able to scam us?

I checked my bank account this morning and noticed a recurring withdrawel from my bank account yesterday so I called my bank to find out what the charge was for. I filed a claim to dispute the charge and was given a number by my bank representative to call to cancel so I finished up with my bank claims representative and called the number that Make Google Cash out of UT attached to the withdrawel. The automated operater says "The number you have dialed has not been assigned yet". Fancy That! "Make Google Cash" gives out non-existing telephone numbers to banks and consumers so that neither can call to cancel or dispute the charges. I, then, had to call my bank claims rep. again and she took the necessary steps to ensure that they could not take any more money from my account, and I was also given the numbers for Identity Theft Prevention and BBB. I had an issue with "Home Income Cash Machine" last month and since I haven't ordered anything on the internet other than signing up for Netflix. I'm pretty sure that "Home Income Cash Machine" and "Make Google Cash" are related. I say this because they were going to charge me $47 last month plus another $355. However, my bank rejected the withdrawel because of the amount. I'm upset but I also look at matters this way. I earn my money honestly and God is the one that has supplied me with all that I have and need. He doesn't take kindly to things like this, and I'm confident that those who steal from people like the jokers behind these scams do-He will deal with them Himself. I have done my part in writng this so that others are made aware of the b-s that is on the internet, and have taken the precautions necessary to protect my own interests. I recommend that you do the same. If you want to start a business on-line, and need the tools to set up a web page etc..check out the programs that you can get for web design etc at places like Office Depot-Office Max or Best Buy perhaps. You don't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to start a business online. The program probably also tells you how to go about setting up the search engine, domain...and gives ones that are reputable. God Bless!

Google debit my account after cancellation

I was checking the internet for something to make extra money and I came across Google Money Tree. I signed up on 12/21/09 (it was a Sunday) for a free trial. The following Three days on Wednesday 12/24/09 my account was debited $3.88. That same month on Tuesday 12/30/09 my account was debited $72.21. Again the following month on Thursday 1/29/09 my account was debited another $72.21. I just then realized when I received my bank statement that they are debiting my account every month. So I called and spoke to Mike at which I requested to cancel my subscription. He said it will be cancel that day Thursday 2/26/09. He gave me a cancellation number. When I visited my Bank on line, I found that my account was again debited another $72.21 on Monday 3/02/09. That is four days after my cancellation date. I again called to find out why am I still being charged when I had cancelled the previous month. I spoke to Tony and told me that the debit had happened the same day I cancelled. What a coincidence ha! I visited my Bank and disputed the charges. I hope I'm credited for that $72.21. I hope this does not happen to others.

Google unauthorized charges

Okay, after further investigation, I went to the website: www.googlemoneytree.com and pulled up the Terms and Conditions and I will insert below what I read. I did call the toll-free number and got the same "response" as the former number I called. I read about this information from www.careerbuilders.com as I am looking for employment. At the top of the website is a very convincing story of instant wealth with FREE grant money and that is where I got started with all this Fraud! The website for that is: www.lindasbailoutblog.com. I also signed up for the FREE grant money and it said I was eligible so I paid $3.95 and I am still waiting for the CD information! That website is: www.granthelporder.com and I was charged an additional $74.95. So now I have to contend with this also! I hop some of the information I have given will help anyone else to recover there money! Please keep me posted or email me @ rita.[protected]@sbcglobal.net. I will be glad to talk to anyone and help if I can. Good Luck to us all!

My son ordered the "FREE" information kit for google money tree and asked me to take a look at it. I was worried, so went online. I read the fine print, and since he never signed up officially he thought he was okay. NOT! They took the funds out of the bank anyway, $72 that he does not have to throw away! He had to cancel his bank card just to get it to stop!

This company is a total fraud. I paid $3.88 S & H only for a CD and nothing else. Two withdrawls of $72.71 later I was informed by my ban that there in nothing they can do. The phone number they give with the withdrawl IS NOT the same that you get. The fine print on this company that the banks can't even find it. BEWARE nothing is ever free.

Never received the product, or an email to confirm the purchase. This was two weeks ago that I signed up for this and now today I notice a 72.00 charge on my credit card. I called up Google Money Tree to get my money back and was told that there will not be any refunds given. That I had plenty of time to cancel the account and that I should have read the very fine print before I signed up for the product. The customer service rep then hung up on me and now I need to get with my bank and file a fraud charge and a hassel.

Ive just received my credit card statement and have noticed 4 unauthorised credit card charges from google success. First being on the 27/1/09 google success kit # [protected] for $46.55 AUS. 2nd on the 10/2/09 Fraud protection # [protected] for $7.45 AUS. 3rd on the 10/2/09 Identity Security #[protected] for $14.98AUS and lastly on 26/2/09 Google success kit #[protected] for $46.29.

there is a similar issue with other products available on the internet. the same happened to a friend of mine for an e-bay sellers kit.. dont' know who's the vendor for this one. The way they justify it in the end is that $1 or whatever the initial charge was, is the price and the monthly recurring is their subscription.

in short, the only way to protect yourself is to read the details/fine print on the agreement, for all such software or services, before you buy from petty vendors, and try NOT to use your CC info with them..
