Google pure scam

I am an idiot!Signed up for Google Profit Kit for $1.95 (vefified by my CC Company. They never give you an accurate amount so they can scam you) Then they show you the terms & conditions which say if you dont cancel within 5 day you get charged$84.84 then every month thereafter $35.47. I have since cancelled my credit card, am filing with the fraud division of our state and also sending a copy to our state attorney's office hopefully with cease and desist order both for XM and Google. How could Google let this under their umbrella for people who trust this search engine?

I too, signed up. I tried for 8 days straight to cancel my account HAHA before the 5 days were up). Everytime I called where it actually rang, answered & put me on hold I was on hold for 45 minutes and then 52 minutes, both times having to hang up as I work 2 jobs and can't spare all that time! Finally, after holding 58 minutes, I got a rep who then said there was nothing they could do as I was past my 5 days. I COULDN"T GET THROUGH in the 1st 5 days! I was charged the $84.84 but I am disputing the charge and I canceled that card immediately. I did have the opportunity 3 different times to leave a message, the outgoing message said they were helping other customers and to leave a message, but no one returned my call. This is absolutely an awful scam. How can they evewn use the Google name?

I, like others, am also an idiot! After subscribing to "Google Profit House", I had the chance to read the terms and conditions. I new that I had just been scammed. I called the toll free telephone number, and after waiting for over an hour, I had the chance to talk with someone. The person that I talked to could not find my name or order number in their records, but I was told to to submit and email request to customersupport@xmbrands.com for cancelation of my subscription. I have no confidence that this will be the end of this matter.
Please be aware that there are NO FREE TRIALS in this world or on the world wide web. You would think that I, like others, would finally wake up and realize this. After this, you can be reassured that I have learned my lesson.

I have had other websites do the same thing to me before and I had to cancel the credit card in order to stop paying the thieves resposible for these types of scams. I know, you would think that I would have learned my lesson by now. Well, now I have!

This has nothing at all to do with Google.

These guys are scammers who illegally trade on the Google name and reputation. Google's AdSense services are totally, completely free. There is no charge to apply for an AdSense account, and there is no charge to earn money from AdSense.

If you understood anything at all about the real Google, then you'd know that most of their consumer services are free.

Google fraud/scam/fictitious business

I signed up for what I thought was a business kit on line with Google Revolution who I thought was "Google" but they are in NO WAY affiliated with Google. They charged me a couple of dollars for the kit. I was to receive something in the mail and also an e-mail. Consequently, I never received anything but a bunch of charges all for the amount of $73.83 and they seem to keep hitting my account every two weeks. They keep changing the name everytime they run my card through. So I have cancelled my card at this point. Fortunatley, my bank is fighting this for me. So contact your banks and tell them it was an unathourized charge on your card and that you never received any goods or services and they will credit your account.

Google scam, fraud

I have fallen for the scam from Google Treasure Chest. I ordered a cd for $1.97 and had no idea that I just enrolled in a monthly scam of charges to my credit card. I have disputed my charges with my credit card twice now. They keep puting the charge back on my bill because they say I did not supply them with the cancelation number of the product. The problem is I can not contact Google Treasure Chest in any way possible, to cancel or even return the stupid cd they sent me. I have no email address, every phone number I call is disconnected. I can not talk to anyone to get anything cancled. I need help with this. Can anyone provide me with contact information so I can resolve this...so far they are charging my capitalone card $72.21. I also would like to know who I need to contact to file a complaint with these scammers, they should be sitting in jail for what they are doing.

Read here!
If any of you have EVER signed up for Google Money Profit this is where all of your unexpected charges are coming from! I called Network Agenda, BSM/Grant Search and found out that all this stemmed from me getting involved with Google! make sure you cancel Google and cancel EVERYTHING that goes with it! Network Agenda's number is [protected]. Don't assume that if you cancel Google that everything else is automatically cancelled along with it. Do the cancellations yourself and get a confirmationnumber!

Google stole my funds

I joined the google fortune site on 8/12/09. I got a letter that they wanted 69.97 in fees for google fortune unless I withdraw within 30 days. I withdrew on 8/14/09 I got a confermation number to verify this. on 8/19/09 they still withdrew 69.97. I had no clue till I got my bank statement. this to me is theft. so I called to demand my money back. I had to speek to some foreign person who could not even take my name. but understood my phone number to open my account. she told me I needed to cancel but could not get a refund. after an hour she understood I canceled my account but made me do it again why I do not know. than I was told I may get my funds in 30 days. but that was all. who is going to repay all the bank fees for over drawing my account I ask. if anyone files a suit against google let me know I would love to join it.
I hate it when people steal from me. I can only imagon how many thousands / millions who fall for this site and have the same done to them. we must be talking millions of dollars that they are stealing for people like me wo are out of work willing to try investing in a good name like google only to be robed or our last dimes that we really dont have just to try to make money to survive this crisses the bush admin put us in

Company offered a Introduction to google fortune by CD. Received CD and was of poor quality. Was not aware of $69.97 charge. Called to get refund and agent just kep repeating that it was in my terms and conditions. I had to ask several times just to get him to cancel my subscription so I wouldn't be billed again. I finally had to hang up and call back when the supervisor would not come to the phone. The next rep told me that she couldn't do anything due to terms and conditions. Next she offered me a bottle of juice with a $90 value. Finally I was able to get 50% of my money credited back. I read the terms and conditions. This is a scam - beware.

This is a complete scam which I got sucked into due to something forwarded by an acquaintance. As soon as I finished the $1.97 trial transaction I got two emails from two subscription services for which I had no need nor interest. I called them within twenty minutes of the transaction to cancel my trial periods without ever using the sites. Thus I thought I had nipped this thing in the bud. Not true...the subscriptions sites are just adjuncts to the original crooks. The $1.97 transaction was on 9/18. On 9/25 they hit my credit card for $69.97 - something which I did not find out about until my statement arrived on 10/7. Since I had not received any communication of any kind from Google Fortune I contacted my credit card company and, rather than dispute the charge immediately, requested and was provided a contact number for the company in order to work things out. I called Google Fortune and they simply stated that my trial period was 7 days from 9/18 to 9/25 (the day the charge hit my CC) to which I asked how I can I trial something without access to any product or information. The rep was borderline rude and said he would explain it...I was sent a confirmation email (FALSE) and a kit in the mail (FALSE) that contained everything I needed. It was clear he would not do anything so I told him I wanted to cancel...he responded with a lower price offer. When I refused and said I wanted to cancel he asked how I was so sure about cancellation without seeing or using their services. HUH? Did he just concede my point? NO...so he offered to reduce the subscription service charges to $59.97 going forward. It took several go arounds before he agreed to cancel the account.

I hung up the phone and there in my mail (silly me opened the credit card statement first) and there was an envelope from Google Fortune which looked like junk mail. OK, so they did mail something out, just not on a timely basis. I opened the mailer and with their CD was a large full color insert explaining that if you challenge their billings via your credit card company they will report you to www.BadCustomer.com to blacklist (their word not mine) you from doing business with internet businesses. WHAT? Doesn't this prove they know exactly what they are doing - delay the mailing so the trial period has expired before the consumer can act and threaten blackmail? They collect a minimum of $69.97 and perhaps more if someone doesn't look closely at their statements.

I called my credit card company to challenge the charge. Boy am I scared.
I hope lots of people read this before they get sucked into this bunch of scam artists.

By the way the one thing the DO deliver on is junk email. Exponential increase!

I ordered the $1.97 Cd on line for marketing which that amount was taken out of my account and i did receive a cd. A few days after placing the order an amount of $69.97 was taken out of my account without my authorization. I called my bank and was given the contact info for them. When i called the company they told me I purchased a HEALTH product. (and totally unrelated to the initial purchase) I said i did no such thing. They said they would reverse the charge and it would take 3 to 5 days to process. Then I received an email stating that I would receive my refund within 7 to 10 business days and if I did not receive my refund by that time to call them. So I called them again and asked about the refund and they said we will do a research and you can call back in 24 to 48 hrs. I did this a couple times and was told the same thing to call back in a couple days. I asked to talk to a manager. no one available. I finally spoke with someone else who claimed to be a supervisor ( oh in the Phillipines by the way) and she said my refund is pending because of problem with my visa card and/or my bank acct info. Now I'm afraid they will try to take more out. I have been in contact with my bank about this several times. It's been over three weeks and I have not received my refund. When i received my cd, inside of the envelope was a large glossy piece of paper. This is what it states...

NOTICE:
Any charges disputed with your bank against this account will be reported to the internet consumer blacklist
www.badcustomer.com and will result in member merchants blocking you from making future purchases online!

By inserting something like that just proves they expect people to dispute because they know they are thieves.
I'd like to know what I can do about this. I can't afford this. I am struggling as it is without companies stealing from my account. It's these companies that hurt the good ones because more and more people will think twice before ordering something in fear of being scammed.

This company is absolutely horrible! Click on a link to charge 1.97 and get a charge for 69.97 less than a week later? We are going through hoops to get it canceled, when we didn't want it to begin with. The best part? The chick on the phone(who works for multiple companies, what does that tell you?), tries to talk me into buying something else! Seriously? How do you sleep at night? We also got a nice note saying they would report us to badcustomer.com.

Similar things happened to me. My co-worker is also cheated by a similar fraud. Searching the Internet I see a huge number of victims out there. I'm going to file a complain with Internet Crime Complain Center:

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

If all of us victims do our best to fight back we could draw enough attention from the public and our government agency to stop it. (If the criminals are caught and sentenced, we can then possibly get our money back.)

For those of you who do not check your credit card history, do it now. You may find suspicious charges from some unknown

vendors for $1.97, $2.95, $4.95, $9.95, $19.95, $69.97, or $79.95 etc.

America is a good lawful country. The law should be used to protect the public, not the bandit.

The customer service for google adwords is awful! My "team" consisted of a dopey young man with a big attitude. I told him what I wanted and he came back with a campaign that did not have 1/2 of the goal words in it and said that he had spent 9 hours on it so when he comes back to me again with my "campaign", "that will have to do."! Then, he didn't even work on revising the "campaign" because he said that "we got off to a bad start because you wanted words you can't have." They are necessary words for what I do! He said that he could go back and revise the campaign he designed (which was not good) and then resumed whining about me wanting necessary words to lead people to my website. A very immature person who I found unreasonable and refuse to work with, especially at $1, 000 per month!

Google never answer phone

I signed up last night for the Google Profit House kit and was charged $1.00. Then I read the terms & conditions and realized that they would be charging more to my credit card if I didn't cancel within 10 days. I attempted to call the 800# immediately only to hear loud music! Immediately this morning, I tried the number again. I sent two emails to [protected]@XMBrands.com with the order number, name, etc. etc. Since sending my emails, I have been attempting to call again to request a confirmation that my order has been cancelled and will definitely not receive their kit. Still can't get through and still very loud music as you wait and wait. I also tried to call Google corporate but you have to know which person's extension to punch in and then I looked everywhere on Google site as to where to file a complaint. This XMBrands internet sales, marketing and billing site is nonresponsive! My advise is to cancel your credit card so they can't put any more charges on it.

The same happened to me. I am from Canada. Gave them my credit card number to purchase the $1.00 kit, what a terrible mistake I had made. Well, they had charged my card $84.84 USD first month with a name XM Health & Beauty. I filed a serious complaint of card fraud with my credit card company. I don't know what they could do about it. But 1 month later they had my first disputed $1.00 credited. That went quiet for 2 months ( no more charges to my card) but now it is creeping up again - another $84.84 USD was charged from XM Brand Mu Cancun. It is this Google Profit House which did it, I know. I found the phone [protected] which I never got through from day one but I thought I had to give it a try. I got through with disbelief. They agreed to cancel so called my 'subscription' and confirmed it with an e-mail afterward. Well, I don't know if this is really the end of it. Does anyone know if it is a lot of trouble to cancel out my credit card ?

I never thought that CNN's name could be used to scam innocent people... I am presently unemployed... almost homeless... I am a student seeking for a gainful employment... after unsucessful attempts, I saw the AD and here we go...
I saw the information to this scammers on Yahoo and because the information stated that it was aired on CNN and that it is rewarding with less stress I bought into it...
I only had minimal funds in my account... all I paid for online was the $1.97 - nowhere was i informed that I will be charged more money...
This company charge me $1.97 on Oct 22, 2009 - now they charged me $68.53 on Oct. 30, 2009 incurring overdraft fee on my personal bank account... Somebody need to do something... This is not right at all...
I am just trying to survive this transitional season, not trying to incur debts...

I had to cancel my credit card the SAME DAY that I ordered the product. I stumbled upon the site for complaints about "Google Kit" and realilize I had done the wrong thing by giving out my cc number. I was proactive on the matter and cancelled the card all together. Yes there was a small 5.00 fee for a new card ...that sure beat getting hit for much more down the road. Pass on this word...always google the site about complaints FIRST before you make a choice to give out your account information etc.

People! Go to walmart or a truck stop and buy a visa debit card and put a few bucks in it for checking things out. If you get scammed just throw it away.

Never, Never use a bank debit card on the web. If you are at a legit site use a credit card so you can charge back if need be. If you are doubtful about the people you are working with, use a purchased debit card with only as much as you need for that purchase. Watch the terms on the debit card, some of them are scams too.

Then barclays put a stop on my account last night as money is disappearing from my a/c in countries where I've never visited. I expect they've also scammed me after having read your aticle. They should be investigated and fast! I have to claim back my money thru some dispute procedure with Barclays which could take weeks. I need this like a hole in the head as I'm just about to be made redundant too grrr...!

Sir or Madam,
I recently responded to an internet advertisement that claimed that I could earn money
from Google and that there would be a one time charge of $2.95 US. I paid this amount on the internet using Visa and downloaded some instructions they provided.

The website is www.yourprofitgateway.com. Their address was listed as Salt Lake City.

Later when I checked with Visa to make sure that the amount deducted was in fact $2.95 US, they told me that this company would be deducting monthly charges unless I
cancelled the account within 7 days.

When I paid this “one time charge”, I never gave any authorization for this company to
deduct monthly charges and I’m outraged that they could even try to do such a thing.

Is there any way that this company can be prosecuted for false advertising especially
since they are using the Google name to entice fools like me into giving them my Visa
number. I have since cancelled my account with them and have an email to prove it so
I only lost the $2.95 US and maybe that’s the cost of my lesson to never give my Visa
number over the internet unless I totally trust the company.

Surely the Americans would frown on such practices that have bilked thousands of
Americans and Canadians and others out of $2.95 US.
I had trouble sleeping all night because when I attempted to cancel the account yesterday, they said I had to wait 24 hours. That’s another thing that infuriated me.

I suppose no government organization will help me and I have to take my loss lying down and my humiliation.
Thank you,
W.S.

I, like others, have also made a big mistake. I called the [protected], I had to wait for more than an hour, talked to an individual who spoke understandable english, and was instructed to send an email request to customersupport@xmbrands.com in order to cancel my subscription. I have done all this within 24 hours of original purchase, but I have no confidence that this is the end of the matter. This has happened to me before with a college student getting access to my credit card and using it on a "free" porn site. I called all the phone numbers and sent all the email that I was instructed to do, and I still had to cancel my credit card in order to stop paying the monthly charges. I'm hoping that this will not be one of those times.
I am very suprised though that Google is letting this happen.

Google google fortune kit

This is a complete scam! They tell you that it will only cost you $1.97 to purchase the Google Fortune Kit and you should receive the kit within 5-10 business days. This kit will teach you how to earn several thousand a week working from home on the internet for Google. First of all, I never got the Google Fortune Kit. Second, when I called them back to complain, they said they could not give me my money back even though, it was passed the 10 business days and I hadn't received anything from them. However as a courtesy, they said they would send it to me again but only if I subscribed to the optional services monthly which they had already taken the liberty to charge to my credit card, an additional $69.97. They had me cornered. This is wrong on so many levels. According to them, I had the option to cancel these optional services before the 14 days expires which started the day I order the google fortune kit. However if I did cancel (which I did) then They would NOT be able to send me the Google Fortune Kit afterall even though, I already paid for it by giving them the cost of the kit $1.97. Here are their exact words "We don't have the capability of refunding you the $1.97 for the Google Kit, we are so sorry". Must I remind everyone again, this is the Mysterious Google Kit that I never received from them in the first place. This is scam to get you to commit to other costly monthly gadgets you don't need. Even though they said they'd refund me the $69.97 which I have yet to see, I have figured they are still making a killing collecting $1.97 from every person that falls a victim to their deception. Just think about it? If you collected $1.97 from every person that lives in your state alone, how much money would you have right now? They are doing this nationwide in the U.S. MY POINT EXACTLY!

Does anyone else think it is weird that the image for google today is an African American woman and next to her is the image of the black panther hand sign? I never complain and usually could care less, but this one bothered me. Not sure if this was what they meant to have on the image, or if they did not even think about it being a hand sign, but it bothered me enough to submit my very first complaint online!

I am distressed and harassed for no fault of mine. My site www.himtimes.com is a daily news network from India. For the past week, the site is being blocked by Mozilla Firefox with a popup declareing the site is a "reported attack site".

I have reported this matter to my server, who claimed the site is safe now and that there was a trogen bug in the site and they have cleaned it . This was 7-8 days back.

I contacted http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/, and have requested Google to check my site. But till today, nothing seems to have been done. As per Alexa my rank today is 1, 536, 175 but it was 1, 064, 477 on 7th July, 2009, which means that the site has suffered a loss of 471, 998 ranks.

Please help me. I am really disgussed visiting google every day.

I am unable to access my gmail as my phone was stolen, requested assistance and was told have to wait 3-5 business days in spite of my personal information is being compromised. Unfortunately, I have learned the hard way not to store any sensitive information such as a bank account or social security numbers on my phone. The thief can access my gmail account as well as all my history on Chrome. I would able to locate the phone though a installed security app or at the very least wipe all then information from it, if Google would assist me promptly in recovering my password but, they CAN NOT or WILL NOT as it is a free service. They would rather that I am compromised financially & be subject to identity theft. THIS IS THE ONLY FREE ACCOUNT OR EMAILPROViDER WHERE I CAN'T CHANGE MY PASSWORD INSTANTLY.

I have made several postings on here regarding the company Vistaprint. I have a small business called Andrea Hudson Piano. My first complaint was made on 20/03/12 and was entitled: "RIPPPED OFF: Unlawful retention of my money". However, as I am new to this complaints procedure, and have been under much duress from the company Vistaprint, I mistakenly listed my own business as the subject of complaint. It seems that Google have immediately picked up on my mistake and taken advantage of it. The afore-mentioned complaint appears at the top of the first search page for Andrea Hudson Piano. I of course realized my mistake immediately, and have taken measures to edit my post, which have been in place for some time now. They do not seem to have been so quick to list the website relating to my business, Andrea Hudson Piano, which has been republished by Vistaprint without my permission. However, Google seems to be very slow in updating their systems, to reflect the true subject of complaint and title of my post, giving a detrimental and false impression about my business. I would like Google to correct this error as soon as possible- least they themselves give the impression of deliberate malice and collaboration with Vistaprint.

The $20, 000 law suit against Google for over charging customers for their daily budget has been authorized by judge Ware.
Google is not cooperating with its sellers and fails to acknowledge customers claim to refunds. They simply refer their customers to the claims administrator which is separate from the Google company. This does not support the companies who advertise with Google and does not support the courts judgment.
We have emailed Google and they said they can not confirm our status although we have advertised with Google since 2005. Companies who qualify for refunds should contact

Google refused a refund for 74.93

I received my credit card statement and was shocked to see a charge for $74.93 for Google profit club. I thought I had cancelled this within the time allowed to check it out.
I had to call my credit card company to get a phone number to contest this bill.
When I called the number a teenager answered the phone. I told him I wanted a refund. He refused saying I was supposed to call the phone number to cancel. I didn't, so the charge was put on my card. I told him I couldn't call because I had just gotten the phone number from my credit card company. He still refused to do anything.
In the background I could hear a bunch of other guys laughing and making jokes.
This is NOT! a real business. It's a scam to get people who can't work out of their home to give them(the kids) free money. Stay away from Google profit club!
They are using the name Google to suck people into their scam by using the name of a legitimate business.

I was also taken in by this, the only sure way my card company could offer, to stop any further debits to my account was to cancel my existing card, and issue another. I initially paid £2.95, this appeared on my statement, followed by another charge of £48.52 five days later.
For these people to be hung, drawn and quartered would be too good for them.
I would also like their number, if possible. Thank you

Google scam

On June 26, 2009 I gave a credit card number to Google Revolution for a charge of $1.87 just to get information about ads on a website. On 07/02/09 and08/01/09 the card was charged $73.83 by MIGOTO Technology, Las Vegas, NV. There was no telephone number for MIGOTO, so I called Google Revolution. I was told that they would cancel my subscription?, but I would have to write a letter in order to get a refund. They gave me an address. Then I noticed the following unexpected charges:
07/12/09 SANJOUTECH CARSON CITY NV $28.73;
07/13/09 CLICK SELL GO, KEARNY MO $37.63;
08/11/09 CLICK SELL GO, [protected] $37.63;
08/11/09 THE SELLERS LOUNGE, CARSON CITY NV$28.73.
All of these charges resulted from giving my credit card number to Google revolution, and I received nothing from any of the companies.
I cancelled the card, but I don't think I will recover any of the money. I am going to write at least one letter to:
Honshu Systems, LLC
2850 Horizon Ridge Pkwy. Suite 625
Henderson, NV 89052
That was the address given to me for MIGOTO Technology.

I contacted Google Revolution through it's website. I signed up for a 7-day free trial membership to which I agreed for a small fee of $ 1.87. On Sunday June 14th I received the login and password to access it's membership website.without any specifics of its terms of use. Today I received a call from this company asking me to activate my full-membership to which I complaint because it was not clearly stated that accepting the free trial membership involved committing to a full membership. I realized the scheme and called my bank, and effectively, my credit card was charged with US$ 73 without my consent. Is there anything you can do about this type of illegal business operating without supervision? Is there any hope to get my money back?

I authorized a charge on my debit Visa for this offer, only to discover that additional money is being removed without my consent. I was not made aware that this would happen. This company needs to have its plug pulled now. I 've discovered I'm not the only one who fell for this scam. When i discovered the amount in question, $98.04, pending withdrawl from my account. I notified my bank, cancelled my card, and am filing a claim through the bank's fraud division. The authentic Google should be required to act upon this, their reputation is at stake.

Was responding to an email for (what I thought was) Google. The ad was simple "Google pays us for typing!" The ad elaborates that they would pay us for every link that was entered into Google. They charged my credit card $1.72 for the software to get started. This was in May. After not receiving anything for 4 weeks, I called the 1-800 number and was promised immediate shipment. I went on to Google support and posted my concern. Sure it enough, its a scam!

The same thing happened to me. I paid $1.87 for the info and started getting charged by clicksellgo, ($37.63 month) newebistraining ($73.83), and learntoearn ($73.83). To date I've lost $300.20 to googles scam. I called clicksellgo, the phone number is [protected]. Was told they could only give me back 3 months, even though they had taken the money out 4 months. I asked for a supervisor. His name was Chad and he agreed to give me back all my money. He gave me a phone number for Google Revolution [protected]. but don't know how far you'll get with them. They offered to cancel the account, but said I'd have to write a letter to this address: Google Revolution, Honshu Systems LLC, 2850 Horizon Ridge Ckwy, Suite 200, Henderson, Nevada, 89052. I haven't heard from them yet. But from what I've read here, guess I'm gonna have to go to the news and see if they can help. Clicksellgo told me that they got my information from Google. I was speechless. Something has to be done to get rid of Google, the thieves that they are.

I have the exact same problem. I have no contact information for this Migoto Technology company. I have just been charged on my credit card and the credit card company disputed the claim and refunded the money. I am waiting for the next statement to see if I am recharged monthly from this company. Is there any contact information for this Migoto Technology company so that I may contact them directly to stop the charges? How do I protect myself from reoccurring charges on my account?

I had the exact same thing happen to me. June 8th I gave my credit card # to Google Revolution. Three charges followed from Migoto Technology Las Vegas, NV:

July 14 - $73.83
August 13 - $73.83
September 12 - $73.83

I contacted my credit card company and filed a FRAUD dispute with them. They have started an investigation into this company and are crediting back the three amounts to my account.

I encourage everyone else to complain to their credit card company. Don't only have them try to contact Migoto to dispute the charges, tell them it IS FRAUD and make them open a FRAUD investigation. The more people that do this, the chances will be that it will be stopped.

Google money stealing scam

Sign up to pay $3.95 and $74.93 is taken from your credit card (and will probably be taken as if you have signed for a subscription regularly if you do not try to cancel it and inform your card company (and prove) that you have done so).

'Facebook' continues to run the advertisements so even more people are sucked in...

Google charge credit card without approval and have no number to reach them to dispute it

I read an article on how to make extra money online with google and in the article the girl suggested going to www.instantgoogleincome.com and they only charge $1.97
and you can watch videos and or read reports. They show that you have access to this for 7 days and gives you the impression that it will expire. I read what I needed to read and never went back to the site. I then went to pay my credit card and realized they had charged my card another $79.95. I never authorized this nor did the website ever say this would happen. After going down to the small print and looking at their policies it says they will charge you this automatically if you don't cancel your service. I tried calling their 1-800 number which is no longer in service and then they give another number for customer service, which has nothing to do with their company. They are liars, theives and very, very deceptive!

These guys are absolutely ridiculous. Anytime you have to put in the smallest fine print that we will charge your account a large sum every month especially when you only get 7 days to try out a product that takes time to train, get set up and benefit from is BULL CRAP and BAD BUSINESS! That kind of strategy, no matter how you slice it, is set up to screw people over and I was one of them. Shame on ME!

People these days are trying to find other means of income or income at all and I'm sure these charges, which may seem small to some, are really huge to most. It's a real shame that GOOGLE is associated with this kind of business.

Best wishes to all and GOD bless!

My complaint is the same as the previous ones. I was billed the 79.99 charge twice after the initial 1.98 before I recieved my credit card bill. I could not get ahold of them by calling the number and when I did they would not credit me the money saying it was in fine. print. As soon as you pay the $ 1. 98, they give you a link to click on. As soon as you do that, they have you and your money. My credit card company will not deal with it either. They say to go to the merchant.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I came across the website after seeing what appeared to be a legitimate newspaper article from someone who had begun doing business with Instant Google Income for a "work at home" career having to do with the Internet. The website for "IGI" looked professional enough, and the page also had "as seen on" (real logos of) TV channels so I felt confident enough to fill out the form information... once I saw the monthly charges of $79.95 for training with this company, I began to cancel... but it threw up an offer of only $0. 97 for a "trial" program, so I reluctantly agreed, and closed the website, never to access it again. I NEVER received any information at all from this company!

I recently went shopping and used my Macy's card for my purchase, and looking at the receipt found out that there were charges on the Visa totaling $160.87! Knowing I had not purchased anything, I was shocked, and called immediately to Macy' customer support line. The $0.97 charge was there, but my Visa had also been charged $79.95 twice within a 30 day period by a company called INSIDERINTERNETINCOME (not Instant Google Income). Macy's representative advised me to cancel the card, which I did, and she gave me a toll-free number for the company related to the charges (again... which was listed as INSIDERINTERNETINCOME -- not Instant Google Income). I attempted to contact this company numerous times without success -- I only received a message. I even tried calling during the "official customer support line hours"... and received the same message. When I finally did get through with a representative, he agreed to the following 1. to cancel my "account"... (for which I was unaware that I even had one) and promised that no future charges would be made.2. He agreed to request a refund for $120 to be credited back to my Visa "which should reflect in 4-5 business days." I did receive 2 e-mail Refund Notifications from "Insider Internet Income"... (not Instant Google Income), one for $79.95, and oddly... the other for $40.00. A call was made to Macy's Visa, and they confirmed that my canceled card had been credited those exact amounts. I informed my Visa rep. that the $40, was not acceptable... and that rep. tried calling the toll-free number for "INSIDERINTERNETINCOME", and likewise, received the same recording I had experienced. I will call the company myself again tomorrow to see what happens. My recommendation is not to do business with this company.

My complaint is identical to others. They charged my credit card without approval or receiving my confirmation email which I was supposed to send if I chose to participate. I chose not to! Impossible to reach them. They charged me 2 payments of $79.95 so far. They are entitled to the initial $1.79 but not one cent more. Deceptive operation that should be closed down!

I saw only the $1.97 charge and thought that the website was clear. I did not see the start up time of only 7 days. I did get a call to help me start faster with lots of support, but the charge for the professional service was $1200. I declined. I also saw the wealth of training DVD's, but that also cost $120. I should have stopped there...

Interesting that they charge the $79.95 even before the website is ready. The very tool to have make money is ready after the 7 day trial. This is the scam.

Ron, from IGI was very polite to me but I still think that if IGI wants to be upfront, then have the start up fee be $80. That is honest. It is a scam and I hope to get all my money back.

I also spoke with Hostgator and they are very professional and were up front. I will pay the charges I signed up for.

The number that I got on my bank statement was [protected] but when I called I was on hold for 10 mins then a message came on and told me that I was past their business hrs and it told me to call back or leave a message. You bet I left a message and I will be calling back until I get to talk to a real live person.

Hello
I tried to sign up for Instant Google Income yesterday 3-10-09 .
I filled in the online form twice both times submitting my credit card details.
My telephone number was not recognised on both occasions.
I live in Spain and there is not enough room on the form for the complete number adding the country code.
Could you please advise.

I was job searching and this came up-looked deeper because it sound like a good deal. Paralegal and cant find work. went to the complaint page and saw someone comment " if you cant read thats your problem"-- what a loser! So many people who have lost jobs, families struggling to put food on the table and this "person" thinks this scam is a joke? Whoever created this web page should be prosecuted!

Google charging credit card after cancelling

Was looking into working from home paid the $1.00 fee - decided not to participate and cancelled but they still charged my credit card and when called to complain was told I was speaking with a third party holding company and that I would have to write to the Corporate Office of Google Revolution in Nevada asking for a refund. They would not provide me with a phone number as we all know how easy it is for a letter is be lost or missed placed. For anyone out there the third party holding company is Easy Training System. Anyone know of how to get our money back or contact google revolution, please let us all know.

I have recently went on facebook and joint the mystery shopper site, which has taken money out of my bank for a free kit, they took £2.48 + £1 overseas handling charge which i was fully aware of. Waited to receive the email i was told i would with all the details i needed but got nothing. Today a further charge of £46.56 + £1 has gone out of my account which i was not aware of and was never told about. I now cannot contact the company with the means of cancelling the account by phone or any other means. I do not appreceiate the company taking money out of my account that i am not aware they would be doing.

This has also happened to me today when I looked at my bank statement. I managed to find the page and underneath our card details was a TICKED box which we did NOT tick. It reads: I HAVE READ, FULLY UNERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE GPC TERMS OF SERVICE. I ALSO AGREE TO ENROLL IN THE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM FOR $74.93 (AS CONFIRMED IN THE TERMS).

So they are going to take this £46 each month! All we wanted was to pay the $3.95 to download an article!

Tel no to call them is: [protected]. They open 9am which is 5pm UK time.

I have been given an advice number in the UK if I get no where which is: [protected] for Cit Advice Bureau.

Thanks for the email which I will use right away.

I spoke to someone today who said the Google profit club is a BIG SCAM and target chidren from the age of 13.

Good luck everyone! I am still in shock myself as I am not working due to a disability. £46 is two thirds of what I have to live on.

A similar thing has happened to me. On 20 July, Google Profit Club took £2.49 ($3.95) out of my account, then on 25 July, took £46.89 ($74.93). I've been ill since 25 July so am only now catching up on correspondence, etc. I received nothing in the post. I feel such a fool.
Now I have to try and contact the bank to make sure nothing else is taken out.

Google unauthorized charges on my credit card

I ordered a cd which was 0.98 in US currency back in april 2009, which when at the time converted to Canadian came close to $1.98 including taxes and postage. Around mid may I received a call from Google Treasure Chest that I was interested in opening an online business. I said no, I did order the cd to find more information on online business, but I am not subscribing to them.
Well guess what the next thing I find on my May -June visa statement : On May 22 they billed me the amount of $72.21 usd -google chest (ph # [protected]). Three days later on May 25th another billing for the same amount billed by A1 member, ph # ([protected]). I called my bank to find out what was going on and that these were fraud charges that I am not aware of. The bank told me to call Google Treasure Chest to resolve the issue and also that Google Chest should give me a cancellation and credit confirmation #, which I should write down for my reference. I have the names of people I spoke with and the days I spoke to them and was told that I should see a credit within 7-10 business days. It is July now and to date I have not seen any credit on my visa bill. Even after calling them and cancelling this unauthorized billing they billed me again on June 24th under the name of Searchchest, ph# [protected]. Do not order any cd's from this Company online they are frauds, keeps billing you on your visa without your knowledge and approval.
I don't have a business and haven't even had the time to view this cd either.
Google Treasure Chest is Fraud Fraud Fraud... The Feds should be checking this Company out.

On 1/12/09 I ordered a home business package from the company through an online promotion, this was supposed to be a charge of $3.88 for shipping of the business package (which I never received). On 1/20/09 an additions charge of $72.21 was debited from my account. I at no point in time authorized this charge. The address for Customer Service is located in Sandy, Utah. I am currently filing a complaint with the State of Utah Attorney General, the Attorney Generals Office in my home state of Ohio, as well as with the FTC. I would urge anyone that has been scammed by these people to do the same.

My husband ordered an on line a program to learn how to make money on line. The price was only $3.88. We thought that was the only charge. Then we got the surprise. $72.21 was charged from our bank account instead of the three dollars the web site claimed. I called and was received with much hostility. I was told that if I had read the "terms and conditions", I would have known about the monthly charge. I canceled and still ended up paying half the price because we didn't cancel within the one week free trial period. Absolutely Ridiculous! This is a lesson to all, always read the " Terms and Conditions ".

I called google treasure chest--which is not even affiliated with google at all, to register with them to hopefully make some money on the internet which is what they purport. I did my due deligence in calling all the numbers they provide on the site. The problem is they told me they were registered with the BBB. I called the BBB and the company does not exist. I checked the Telephone number although the # works, the # works it is not registered either. I called and spoke with about 4 different reps all of whom refused to disclose the name of thier company, the company address, or the direct # to google treasure chest. They also refused me the right to talk to thier supposed supervisor to collect additional data. The only thing you have is a #, not a company name or anything else. If you give them your credit card # and something goes wrong you are in a big mess without a trace. I dont think they are registered because you need a business name to register a business. Any legitimate business has a telephone number, a business name, a manager or an owner or a supervisor. None of these exist with this company. They probably take your credit card information and sell it to others for profit. They hide thier identity so as to avoid any accountability to any agencies. Anyone wanting to join them must do thier due deligence (READ THE LINES AT THE BOTTOM OFTHE PAGE). THEY HAVE ALL THE ATTRIBUTES OF FRUAD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD WRITTEN ALL OVER THEM.

Google Treasure Chest withdrew 72.21 from my account without authorization. I called to question the reason for the withdraw and to try and get my money back and was told that I was automatically signed up to have 72.21 taken from my account each month. I asked whom I was speaking with and I was only given a first name(Laura). I asked her last name for which she refused to answer. I then asked to speak with someone in charge and was denied a manager. I was given an address of 2375 East Tropicana Ave. Suite 8 Las Vegas Nevada 89119 where i can write them a complaint letter. I plan on writing this letter immediately and expect this unauthorized charge of 72.21 put back into my account.

I called on the 6th of April to have services canceled and was told my money would be refunded within 24 to 48 hours. I called back on the 13th and was told there was no refund ever processed and that they would do it right away and it would take 24 to 48 hours. I called back on May 1st and was told that the refund had been posted on the 28th and if it wasn't showing up by the 4th (another 72 hours) I should call them back. When I requested to speak with a supervisor or someone higher with authority, I was informed t hat they don't take phone calls. They took my money out of my account within 30 minutes, but it took them a month to replace it. After all this conversation, I was told that they are not affiliated with Google, they just share their name.

I too was scammed with the charge of $72.21. When I called to complain I was told by Travis that on the website it states that "if you do not cancel you will charged a monthly membership fee." I told him that was a bunch of bull, because I'm reading hundreds of complaints from consumers about the same unauthorized charge. And obviously none of you guys read anything about a membership charge. This is how these guys are making there money off the $1.95 CD that is a also a bunch of nonsense. When I tried to call back and blast them some more they put on the after hours recording.

Google unauthorized charges

I authorized ONLY a $2.17 shipping charge for a free "Make money with Google" CD. Nowhere did the offer say "free trial." It was supposed to be totally free. This was a week ago. I never received the CD, and when a $49.95 pending debit showed on my checking account, I e-mailed the program to cancel immediately. The e-mail bounced back as undeliverable, and the debit went through. Now I will have to go to my bank to file a form to dispute the debit, and get a new debit card so these weasels can't take my money again.
