GolfNow Coupon code redemption issue

I called yesterday as I tried using one of my coupon codes. By the way, every time I have tried to use one of these, I have ended up having to call GolfNow to redeem it. It just shouldn't be that hard.

I spoke with Robin. After being on hold with her twice, she came back and said if I would just pay them, they would credit me back for the round. I told her that didn't seem right at all. I asked her for resolution on that code. I ended up using another code for the round.

Robin promised me to straighten it out and follow up with me and call back. Of course, she did not call back.

I think this is bad customer service and was handled poorly. Please let me know what I should do differently as I don't think GolfNow handled this professionally at all.

GolfNow Golf pass

Having been a vip member with golfnow for 2 years and grandfathered in at $99 annually, I was surprised to receive an email stating that $199 would automatically be deducted from my credit card in may. I received this email approx a month ago, and of course I called the vip customer service number to inquire what was with the increase since I was grandfathered in for the $99. I was told the vip was no longer and had been replaced by this golf pass, and he went on to inform me of all the added benefits that came with it. I was perfectly satisfied with the vip program as it met everything I needed through golfnow. All these so called added benefits mean absolutely nothing to me at my age and could care less about them. All I wanted golfnow to do for me was help[ me get teetimes, and being a vip a couple of added benefits. Bring back the vip program for golfers like me who don't need or want the extras this golf pass brings. If someone wants, or needs the perks of the golf pass for the $199 give it to them. Reinstate the vip especially for those of us who were grandfatherd in at the $99.in other words have two separate plans which seems to me would benefit your loyal customers as well as golfnow.

GolfNow Online tee time reservations

GolfNow,

I've been playing golf at the Somerset County Golf courses for over thirty years. I get very little time to play as I still work. I love to play as it relieves me of the agony with work, a time to be out with nature, good friends and the joy of the game.

However, GolfNow has now surpassed any agony I experience at work. The GolfNow tee time registration and administration is the worst software application ever. I've been implementing software for my entire career and I've seen a lot of troubling issues creep into an installation. But none worse than GolfNow.

The employees here at Somerset County are sincerely aggravated and we golfers are even more disturbed. Going online is just as bad as trying to get a tee time or pay at the course. And calling GolfNow to get answers to issues, we're expected to wait 25 minutes to even talk to a service agent.

GolfNow Customer service

GolfNow customer service phone number is not listed on the GolfNow website. I found the number by searching Google for it. When I called in, it said that the wait time is 3 hours! I don't believe I have ever heard a wait time for any business to be 3 hours. From reading other complaints filed on this site, it seems to be common.

I wanted to find out how much credit I have on my account. That is not indicated anywhere under our profile. Unfortunately, I traded in a golf club under their program. I don't believe I will be able to use any of that money.

GolfNow vip membership

Signed up for their VIP membership the first year it was offered @ $99 per year, it waived the "Booking fees" and allowed you to earn rewards points at a faster pace, the next year they raised the price for a VIP membership to $199 but if you were on the auto renewal like I was you were grandfathered in with the $99 rate minus a few of the perks promised to the one's paying $199 (dozen free golf balls and some reward play), that year they changed earning rewards points to reflect how much you were paying for the rounds you were booking plus only allowed you to redeem your "reward" ($10 off a round) 3 days in advance when the rates were artificially high making them almost worthless.
Well this year I get an email stating that the Golfnow VIP membership was being changed to Golfpass+ at the $199 per year rate, they added some other useless perks like discounts on grossly overpriced goods and services that no one wants. I checked my golfnow account and sure enough the $199 payment was scheduled to go thru on April 1, 2019 so I called the Golfnow VIP service line and actually has to wait a while on hold before getting to talk to some airhead that remarked I was the only one complaining about this absurd hike in the rate, told them to shove it and I'm done with them. Guess you could follow the chain and figure out where this "greed" comes from. Golfnow is owned by the Golf channel which is owned by NBC which is owned by Comcast.

GolfNow Online tee time

On Saturday 1/19 I was looking on teams at Star Ranch Golf Club in Hutto Texas. I pulled up a Hot Deal and accidentally booked a tee time for 4 people for the Monday Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I immediately cancelled the time within 5 minutes of booking as it was clearly a mistake. I spoke to customer service several times and they refused to give me a refund. They provided a credit for future golf rounds that only be use during limited times, and that would not fit with my work schedule. I would like a refund as they were able to quickly fill my tee time to another group at the course that day.

GolfNow Customer service

Hello im Robert DeWitt. Im probably one or the most top customers at golfnow. For over a month i had a lot of rewards on my dashboard. Up to today it says that i have 13 rewards. But when i went to go use them today the customer service rep said i only had 5 rewards because they for some reason didnt erase the rewards i used a month and a half ago. I thought because i book so many rounds that maybe i got the rewards pretty quick since im a VIP member. It was totally misleading and dissapointing. Like i said i usually book over 120 rounds or more a year

GolfNow Double billed

booked a hot deal for next day using their iPhone app. noticed 3 pending charges on my credit card next day. days later, two of the charges went through and one is still pending. couldn't find any support email or way to contact golfnow through the app/website. will have to contact my CC cust svc to have them remove the duplicate charges. all in all, terrible service.

GolfNow Tee time booking

I booked a tee time on a Wednesday for a Saturday morning tee time. Got the confirmation and everything was set. Our tee time was for 8:48. Found out at 8a.m. Saturday morning that our tee time was cancelled . The golf course never got it. One of our foursome was already there, the other 3 on the way. When I called to inquire how something like this could happen, I was told" we are a technology company, we don't actually talk to the course".
Never again will I use this company. Also, I will tell every golfer and member of our country club not to use golf now either.
Unacceptable.

GolfNow Golfnow not applying credits

Had a credit from a previous tee time that was canceled. Was booking another tee time and it showed the balance that I would be charged for the tee time which included the deduction for the credit. After pressing confirm, it showed the amount that I am being charged as the amount without the credit. Of course you can't get hold of anyone on the phone to correct the issue. I used to recommend GolfNow, but will never recommend them again.

GolfNow Refunds

I have been using Golf-Now for years and had people get on it. I looked up a t-time and usually you pay a dollar amount and not the full. It took $150 out of my bank and my friend di the same and they charged him $14 for the same. I then called and they said there is no refund buy I will get emails on deals Monday -Thursday. The one I cancelled was for Friday.. This is a joke and that guys that answer the phone have no customer service.. Use this company! BEWARE!

GolfNow Golf service

Booked a hot deal 8th September 2018 at Champions gate international 7th December 2018 and paid in full.A few days later received a E-mail from Brett at golf now saying we are reaching out to you and due to a previously scheduled outing your tee time cannot be accommodated at this time and we are cancelling it, I had already received confirmation.(someone has obviously messed up at golf now) To make matters worse they took payment from my credit card and then refunded it at an inferior exchange rate.The result is I have paid a small fee for their mess Up!I cannot contact anyone as per the other complaints as customer care is non existent.If I had tried to cancel an hot deal they would have taken it in full, but when the boot is on the other foot and they cancel I still end up out of pocket.I am obviously not very happy but don't hold out much hope, Paul United Kingdom.

GolfNow My rewards

My name is Barry Gonsalves. I use your website to book tee times, etc, & I've accumulated 7 Rewards to use for Hot deals, etc. I just made a tee time this past Monday 9/3/2018 for The Hooch Golf Club in GA, & I applied all of my deals, yet, only 1 was applied to my fee. I'd like to know why, & why are all of my rewards now showing as used, yet only 1 was applied to me fee?!?

GolfNow Use of promo code, issues, and support

A recent example of the initial issue is the set of "conditions" for a promo that are either not obvious or are non-existent regarding EARN20 as a single use promo. This is the 1st one I have experienced that is singular use. Not knowing that, I continued trying to book a 2nd tee time but got "Invalid Promo Code" messages ad nauseum over a 4 day period. When I called support to ask for help, the service rep did not listen to the issue but rather spouted how promo codes are used - a process with which I am familiar.
Efforts to find a supervisor are time-consuming with long waits online or simply don't work. When I did get a "supervisor", I was told that "the message was a poor choice of words by marketing."
Searching for an email address is fruitless. This is as close as I have gotten to something other than a tightly controlled call center.
I have enjoyed the use of GolfNow when it works and I have saved money but it can be very frustrating when it doesn't and then add insult to injury with a call center that seems distracted, ill-informed or not invested.

GolfNow Service

I had to cancel a tee off time due to illness. I called the golf course 2days prior to my tee off they informed me I would have to pay convenience charge which I fully understood it was a June 15 tee time at Perth golf course act number [protected]. To date have not recd a credit. I am a faithful user of the device but find it extremely frustrating in getting ahold of a live person to discuss this. Very frustrating! Can someone explain to me why I haven't recd a refund. This has now been 6 weeks. Regards Chuck Easton

GolfNow Golfnow reservation charge

Dear Customer Care Team,

I have been notified that Eagle Trace Golf Club notified you that I did not arrive at the course for your scheduled tee time on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. I understand that they are requesting that you collect the green fees for no-show tee time reservations.

I am disputing this allegation because I played the round of golf. My golf partner Mr. Lamont Humber came in and paid for my round for the 7:43am tee time. We had a 3rd person Mr. Earl Hamilton who played with us as well. I did not go inside of the clubhouse because my fee was paid prior to me arriving at the course. I gave the starter my receipt because we could not start or ride in a cart without it. We completed the round at 12 noon. Also, Eagle Trace can check the log at the West Guard gate to see that I was in the community and at the course.

Therefore, the charge of $39.22 should not be charged to my credit card. I look forward to a response regarding the non charge.

GolfNow Customer service/fraudulent charges

GolfNow booked a wrong tee time for me. Called to have them change it for me or issue me a refund. The customer service agent Robin was of no help and said she would pass my info to her supervisor and contact me. Heard nothing from golf now. Called the next day and a customer service agent named William told me the supervisor was in a meeting. Still have not hear back from golf now. Initiated fraudulent charges through my bank. Maybe now someone from golf now will contact me. Horrible company with even worse customer service. William is a straight up LIAR!

GolfNow Canceled reservations

I made a tee time through GolfNow for Gatlinburg GC in Tenn. for today at 11:20 AM. My Confirmation # was: [protected]. I called the Golf Course to cancel my reservation for today, the call was made on Friday 6/22/18 late morning. I found out through the golf course that I had to go through you to get my debit card credited back. Now I find out that its not refundable since the course is open. I had a emergency at home and was not able to make it to Gatlinburg for our vacation, and had to cancel the hotel as well. I would like my debit care credited back to my Checking Account.

On Saturday, I tried to book a tee time for Sunday August 19 at Salt Creek in Wood dale, Il. The tee times displayed and I booked my time. Upon receipt of my confirmation, I realized my tee time was booked at a Salt Creek in Ontario. Somehow I was redirected to this course. I called and canceled my reservations but could not find a way to contact Golfnow.
After my dilemma on the same day, August 18, 2018, my son used Golfnow to book a tee time for Sunday and when we arrived at the course they didn't have any reservations for us. It cost each golfer an extra $5 to play.
How is Golfnow going to deal with these issues? A reputable company would refund the extra money we paid and refund the upfront fee.

GolfNow Golf now reservation no show charge

To whom it may concern:

On June 14th I received notice (e-mail) from Golf Now that I was being charged for not showing up for a tee time at Jack Frost National Golf Course on May 17th.

I used the Golf Now Mobile App to make a reservation on May 17th at Jack Frost National golf course. After making the reservation I realized I had made the reservation for the wrong day. I made the reservation for May 17, when our intended play date was May 24th. Since one of my playing partners had already made a reservation at Jack Frost for our group to play on May 24th without my knowledge, I contacted Jack Frost to cancel the reservation, since it was a pay at the course reservation.

I contacted Jack Frost and explained the situation. They were very amenable, since A) it was raining and B) we were over a 90 minute drive away, we could not have made the tee time anyway. I was informed that the tee time reservation was cancelled, but that I would most likely have to pay the Golf Now fees. I said that was fine.

So I was quite surprised to received the e-mail indicating my credit card was going to be charged ~$104 for a "no show". I contacted Jack Frost pro shop today and spoke to "Dylan". He confirmed that we did not play on the 17th and that our reservation had been cancelled, but he could not do anything related to the charge from Golf Now. He said he would be glad to speak to anyone at Golf Now to confirm we did not play.

I have disputed/denied this charge with my Costco Citibank Visa, and am now asking you to contact Jack Frost [protected]) and confirm with Dylan and please cancel the ~$104 charge.

GolfNow Tee time booking

My name is Michael Ochse, I've been using GolfNow for plenty of years with no issues but this week was different. A group of us are trying to put together a few times on 4th of July so we booked several tee times at Black Bear Golf Course located in Franklin, NJ. Somehow, two of us booked the same tee time (6:48) which caused tons of confusion. The following day, we both received notifications from the course saying thank you for submitting your cancellation and now we were forced to pay the higher price booking directly through the course. GolfNow has been very good to me over the years, but I'm curious how a tee time can be book twice after a confirmation number is generated. Now that we both had to book through the course directly, we are paying roughly $100 more to play there. I was hoping that I can be credited somehow on my GolfNow account for this inconvenience. Anything that can be done would be greatly appreciated!

I will attach the cancellation notification that was not authorized by me.
