Golden Corral cleanliness and overall terrible service

We went to the Kissimme location last night and spent close to $60 for four of us and we left hungry. First of all once we walked in and got our drink I got lemonade and it was separated and looked disgusting I did not drink it. Secondly, the food was half empty and selection was limited. My silverware was dirty. But the worst and most disgusting part of all was the fact the they had men on ladders​ by the food and dessert doing construction and changing vents out right over top of the food! I do not know why any business would think that was a good idea! This was the first restaurant we visited during our vacation and it was absolutely disappointing!

Golden Corral bad service

I am emailing in regards to my family and I's experience at the Mishawaka Indiana Golden Corral. 

We had a party of 7 that came in for dinner. When we got there, there was no tables big enough for our party, which is more understandable than the rest of our experience.  We pulled a couple tables together for our group. The first server that we had came up to the table to make sure we good and informed us that she wouldnt be in that section anymore that she was getting moved and another server would be with us. 

We all went and got our food and began having dinner. The second server came to the table and filled up one of our cups. That was the first and only time we seen her. 

We continued having our dinner and our plates were adding up on the table and our cups were becoming empty. As I have already mentioned, we never saw another waitress again. 

By this time 4 of our glasses had become emptied. We sat for another 5 minutes with nothing to drink. We couldnt get anyone's attention so I processed to walk over to the waitress station with our glasses to fill them myself. At this point another server came over and told me that I was not permitted to be back there.  I understand that and would not have been if we were getting service. I got one cup filled before I left the area and informed the servers that I wouldnt have been back there if we were getting service. 

I then went back back to our table and waited to see if a server was going to come over, which never happened. We continued with our meal and I used the restroom. I understand that these do get dirty because of business but the female bathroom was horrible. 

After using the restroom I asked to speak with a manager. I told him about our service and how things were going and he asked where we were sitting and came over and found the server that was suppose to be helping us. She told him that she had a big section other than us. He informed her that she still needed to be giving us service. 

As he was talking to her others in my party wanted him to come to the table. As all of this was already happening my sister in law had gone up to get dessert using the chocolate fountain and had found a long blonde hair in it. She informed the manager of this and we heard him tell them to shut it off. 

We continued to watch people going up to the fountian and dipping their food into it with no one stopping them. 

We ended up leaving with at least 15 to 20 empty plates on our table and 4 empty cups that never got filled. 

I contacted that store on facebook and explained our experience there and all the did was say that they were sorry and would be talking to their management team. 

We have already called the board of health about this. We are very unpleased with our experience there and nothing is being done about it.

Golden Corral quality/quantity and availability of food, and a horrible atmosphere and dinner experience

This evening my fiance and I drove an hour from home in Fulton county to your location in Saratoga Springs N.Y planning on having our date night away from stress and kids.
After we paid for our dinners, we got our plates and found a table in a not so crowded section. Things were o.k., although we had to wait over 15 minutes for a child size piece of steak, we were for the most part o.k.
And then came and sat 3 grown men directly behind me, and it began. They were so loud that I could not hear my waitress, there were staff preparing food behind the buffet screaming back and forth with them...at one point a staff with a chef's hat came and joined them.for a seat at their table. I must add that these men were speaking Spanish, so no-one could understand anything being said as they were laughing and yelling causing a scene. So we got up and moved across the room for coffee and carrot cake.
I refused to let my time and travel to be wasted, or my $37.00 for our dinners and drinks either.
We never once saw management and even after talking to the waitress about it, never even got an apology. I don't expect anything in return, but I won't be going back anymore either .
It's a shame that nothing was even said to us. The buffet was underfilled, the place was packed and the atmosphere was awful.

Golden Corral dirty silverware

I freshia McCormick went in to Stockbridge ga store to eat with my family and I sat with my food I took a bite of mac and cheese and got a nasty chemical tates in my mouth only to end up at hospital with a lergic reaction from either the spoon of mac and cheese bit o can get it was the spoon my lips are burnt and tounge throat the manager paid for my meal bit he thought it was funny also I didn't and don't i plan on getting a lawyer for this so it would be great if you contact me first I have pictures of my lips and tounge if need them my number is [protected] sorry i have to involve a lawyer but i fill like he only paid my bill so I didn't report it cause he laughed at me as I'm telling him not professional at all

Golden Corral quality of the biscuits

To whom it may concern,
We were at your establishment in Port St. Lucie, #2639, on the morning of Friday June 30th. Overall the breakfast was very good but I want to let you know the biscuits were not up to Golden Coral standards. They were small, flat and hard. I am not one to complain but even the manager stated that he has had them thrown at him after customers have complained. He has commented to his supervisors about the complaints from other customers but nothing has been done to correct this problem.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE SOUTHERN STYLE FLUFFY BISCUITS!

Golden Corral the restaurant's dining hall

My family attempted to visit GC. We walked in the food smelled great! We went to sit down and there was a roach! My husband stepped on it but we could not stay there to eat it was totally uncomfortable and disgusting. I am standoffish about going to any Golden Corral now! The manager did give us our money back but he acted as if it was just a roach! Please have someone check it out.

Golden Corral unprofessional attitude/rude

My family and I went to golden corral for breakfast yesterday around 1045 am. We saw a poster that read "steak and eggs" . My husband, due to religious beliefs does not eat anything containing pork. So when we saw the advertisement for the steak and eggs we knew he would have something to eat as well. Or so we figured. We were told steaks are not made until after4. We frequent golden corral for dinner but have never been for brunch. Anyways because we have never seen eggs during dinner time we simply asked the woman if steak isnt made until after 4 why does it advertise steak and eggs because if eggs are not made past 4 and steak vice versa when DOES steak and eggs apply
Naturally we were frustrated but mors important hungry so i ask if we could pay am extra amount for a single piece of steak. My husband is a larger man and needs meat with his meals. We were told we could not have steak no matter what . and thru this entire ordeal what perturbed us the most was the horrendous attitude we were given by the staff.. The woman was extremely rude the entire time. But to continue, at this point we were in a very akward position. We are all starving but now my husband cant eat because the only available choices are meats containing pork. So we tell the manager that we would like two instead go somewhere else where we can all eat as a family but we are told that because my daughter my son and I had already made a plate that my husband will be the only one able to be refunded so now we either pay $35 although we haven't ate yet with the exception of my daughter taking a few bites and then have to go somewhere else and buy another breakfast for everybody or we have to sit and eat in front of my husband while he sits hungry watching us. Due to the fact that we do not have very much spending money after bills are paid all we could do was option b i felt terrible and extremely uncomfortable trying to eat my breakfast knowing that my husband is hungry and is having to just watch us eat. I hurried thru and had the most unpleasant meal I've ever eaten. My daughter was in tears because she chose golden corral and she is only 9. She felt as if she did something wrong by picking this place bwcauae wveryone was upset and in a bad mood. It was a terrible start to our morning. I understand we misumderstood the advertisement but i felt like thry could have went about things im a much more pleasant way. Had the woman simply been kimd for example said maybe im sorry for the confusion or let us leave with a redund so that we vould eat together or at the vwry least validated our feelings instead if makimg us feel like we were the ememy. Golden Corral horrible customer service

Hello, I recently visited my local Golden Corral to celebrate father's Day with my family. I paid for a party of 4 and 3 drinks. I had a coupon for a free drink via my email for joining their club that stated it needed to be printed but if you cannot print please talk to the manager about honoring it. I informed the young African American lady Tamara H that was on the cash register that I had the coupon and she YELLED out "You can't get a free drink! We don't accept these coupons on the phone! The manager is not going to honor that" in front of a long line of customers. I was so embarrassed because i was following the prodigal per the internet information. She reluctantly called a supervisor out to confirm. The caucasian women didn't come to the register or address me directly. She instead YELLED "WE can't accept that and walk back to the kitchen". I spend almost $70 yesterday and I am angry about the store employee and managements lack of tack and overall bad customer service. I have been eating at this Golden Corral since it open almost 20 years ago at least once a month. i am familiar with all the old-timer servers who work there and love them. However, I will not be going back and wish I could get a refund because myself and guest was just disgusted. In retrospect I wish we had walked out but it was a holiday weekend and i was afraid of crowds else where. Thank you!

Golden Corral the meat

I recently was on vacation in Loveland, Colorado and we stopped in the Golden Corral off of Sculptor Dr. We ordered the buffet for all five of us. We had sodas with our dinners.

The salad bar was good, however the Prime rib and Steaks were horrible. When we asked for Medium well pieces we received medium rare or rare pieces and our meat portions of the meals were not great at all. I don't have my receipt at this moment, but for a $75 meal for 5 people I expected my meat to be cooked right and my family to be able to eat without wanting to get up and leave.

I would have spoken to a manager, however this location was super busy and I never even saw a manager come around. At every other location a manager has always checked with us during our meal. I was very disappointed and this was a our first night of our vacation in town. It was very disappointing.

I would have asked for a refund but really that doesn't change the fact that we ate a very sub par meal that was horrible. We could have bought any other dinner for that same price and it would have been better then what we ate that night.

Golden Corral poor service, attitudes, old food

My sister and I went to the Golden corral on Bobby Jones in Augusta ga today at 3:57 pm The cashier was very unprofessional she we were quoted 3 different prices for the buffet! She didn't want to wait on my sister and I so she told us to go to the next cashier ! My sister and I eat at the Golden corral about 4 times a week, but we have decided not to there anymore, Cashier was named Mrs. Grant! 😞

Golden Corral the staff at golden corral kirkman road

I am very disappointed to see what I saw. I went there a Sunday morning to first see to staff members touching each other sexually. One guy Pablo who was our server was very rude and asked for money even before we were done eatting . He and another staff member Jessica were very touchy with each other . Although they were on opposite sides of the restaurant they managed to come to same drink station and get a feel. My children as well as the table next to me noticed it . It was disgusting and pretty sloppy to be happening at a family restaurant. Maybe they need to watch over staff a little more and tell them to stop asking for money . It's not by law required to leave a tip. It's by choice.

Golden Corral quality of meat products, (steak, ribs) is subpar.

Golden Corral use to be my favorite place to go in Panama City, Fl. Within the last six or seven months the quality of the meat offerings is terrible. Recently visited with my wife and tried the steak but couldn't eat it because every bite I tried was like leather. It was full of gristle and not eatable, this has happened to my wife on previous visits. One of the meats that was available frequently was Prim Rib. I have not seen that in months. The meat quality at this particular Golden Corral use to be acceptable but no longer. We will not return again until I am assured the quality of the meat offered is eatable. We have told all of our friends about this issue as a number of us would meet there for lunch or dinner. Someone in upper level management needs to look at this and get this resolved.

El manager me trato muy mal me ofendió yo le dije que no podía comer por que me operaron y salí de hospital y solo mi esposo iba a comer y ya que había pagado no me dejo entrar a mi y no me quiso regresar el dinero que pago mi esposo, dijo que todos hacen lo mismo que entran y comen y no pagan y le dije que no tenia que generalizar, y me dijo no entras y mi esposo comió solo

Golden corral aparte de ser groseros, el servicio pesimo, sucio es un asco, el manager tenía un aliento horrible, olía de lo peor, me trato muy mal no me dejo entrar salí del hospital y mi esposo quiso comer y yo no podía y no me dejo entrar y le dije ya pagamos y no me quiso regresar el dinero, me dijo que todos hacen lo mismo que entran y no pagan, de verdad me sentí muy mal

Golden Corral service

I visit Golden Corral Stores all over Texas and Louisiana. For the most part enjoy the atmosphere and food, as well as the prices.

When I entered the Golden Corral Store in Galveston, Texas on Saturday May 27 around 4PM, that opinion changed for the worst. I was literally glared at by what I call a Valet, the person who comes over and refills your water or tea.

This man, Mexican American, around 25 and 6'2" was so threatening looking at me while he stood in the doorway to the Conference room, I got up and moved further away to another table. I left my paper and he brought it over. I told him he could have it. He then took the paper, held it shoulder high, and violently ripped it apart, glared at me and walked away. This in front of Customers, of which one Lady, next to my table, almost jumped out of her seat. The Manager, as I found out on Monday May 29 when I called the store, was not at work on Saturday May 27. I explained to him what happened, and that I had just come from the Hospital for an injection. The Doctor suggested I get something to eat and Golden Corral was close. The Manager advised me he would look at the film when this incident occurred around 4 PM Saturday May 27, and if he saw the Employee ripping the paper apart, he would consider terminating him immediately. This employee even went to the Kitchen and called a co-worker out who both started glaring and laughing at me. Are you serious? You do not run a Restaurant like this or possibly face a huge financial burden on your Company. As I told the Manager on Monday May 29, if I had of been physically assaulted by an Employee at Golden Corral because of some apparent hate towards me from an Employee my Attorney would have "Ate That Up". As I explained to the Manager, the Insurance Liability Clause on a Public Venue like Golden Corral is in effect at all times a person enters the premises. I am requesting $14.49 refund on my check for my Purchase on May 27. This will be a lot less expensive than a Court Ordered Financial Award for a Physical Assault should that ever happen, by an Employee of Golden Corral to a Customer of Golden Corral on the premises.

Golden Corral food handling

My girlfriend and I, ate at the Golden here in Waco, Texas on Sunday afternoon, and we will never go back again. On the grille, they were cooking shrimp, and when near finished, they put raw chicken next to the shrimp, and with the same gloves they moved raw chicken with, moved cooked shrimp to container. That is wrong to touch raw food, and touch cooked food wearing same gloves. How do we know salmonella did not get on the cooked shrimp? She did not get a damn thing from that area, and if I would not have already been eating off salad bar, we would have got our money back! We spent over $35.00, to eat there, and I'll be damned if I'm going to spend over $35.00, for salmonella poisoning! We are very upset, and will never go back! Hard to tell what goes on behind closed doors, but if it's anything like what she saw then, we are sure, food handlers in the back, are just as careless as they are at the grills! Golden Corral coupon I received on mother's day

I received a coupon on Mother's Day to enjoy a brunch. It said brunch would be 7 days a week daily from 9:30-2pm starting May 22. I show up just now and the guy operating the cashier said it was not valid on Sundays and they were selling dinner already. My daughter and I drove 15 minutes to get there. This is false advertising. I'm never going back to Gokden Corral. You people lie! Mother's Day was an experience in itself anyways.

Golden Corral lack of service during our meal.

On May 26, 1953, I took my wife and 3 grandaughters to your Golden Corral located on Glenn Estee Withamsville Rd, CINCINNATI (Eastgate ), Oh to have a meal and celebrate my birthday. We never really had a server for our table. No card was left telling us who our server was. I actually had to chase one server halfway across your restaurant just to get a refill on our drinks. Twice more after that I had to ask for drinks which were grudgingly provided by one girl who finally started removing dirty dishes when she found it convenient. I realize you operate a buffet but the minor amount of service required by your customers is very important in our enjoying our dining experience in your facility. Additionally, the last few times we have visited your establishment, service has be on a downward spiral. I feel you really need to get control of this situation. You are on the verge of losing many customers due to this problem. Thank you for your time in reading this.

Golden Corral hostile work environment

Golden corral in margate florida. Has a worker by the name of rico who verbally assualts the female workers in the kitchen. A complaint was made and nothing was done.. His verbal abuse is horrific. And other female workers can also agree. If nothing is done someone will be forced to legal action for toxic work enviroment. Defamation of character. Harassment. Verbal abuse. Against him and golden corral.

Golden Corral I am complaining about the rotisserie chicken no longer available at your restaurant locations

I think you guys have made a big mistake doing away with the rotisserie chicken. It was one of the big reasons we came to the Lawrenceville, Ga location. Now they have replaced it with dry smoked chicken and sometimes it's not cooked enough. It's either to dry or it's not done and we notice they have started to put out baked chicken and calling it rotisserie chicken. It is not fit to eat. We stooped going to Golden Corral now and eating at other places. The rotisserie chicken was your crown jewel and we are hoping you will bring it back. We all loved it and without it being served at your restaurant locations we don't care to eat there any more.

Golden Corral unethical behavior

I would like to inform the corporate office that the restaurant located at 7700 west Stockton blvd is a hostile work environment. Mike Saca the owner does not treat his employees right. I have worked for his location since august of 2016 and have witnessed him verbally abusing several employees, to the point where he makes them cry. He has also been verbally abusive towords me, stating that I was a slacker, and could not keep up with my job responsibilities. He told me that whoever trained me did not have very high standards, and that I was ineffective. I had worked for golden corall in Albuquerque new mexico for almost a year before transferring to the California location, and was never told I was not a good employee. He has no regard for his employees, and makes you feel like you are worthless. I am very stressed out every time I work because I am trying to work so hard, so I can get my hours back, but nothing is ever good enough. I feel I am being discriminated against for some reason. He is the worst boss I have ever had, and I have never worked for someone like him, and I hope I never do . He should be given more training on how to treat people, in my opinion, he makes it very hard to keep a good attitude. Its sad to say, but it affects my job performance, and the service that I give my customers. Never knowing what to expect.
