Golden Acres Quality Retrievers review: Genetic kidney failure

I bought a puppy on 11.13.11 and after getting home we discovered it was very sick with giardia. Also, she has a recessed vulva that had caused many UTI’s in her first year of life. Now at the age of 2.5 she was diagnosed with Congenital Renal Dysplasia (Genetic Kidney Failure) and will not live passed the age of 5. Congenital means present at birth, so generally refers to those abnormalities that are permanent birth defects. It is very sad to see such a beautiful dog suffer from this devastating and terminal illness at such a young age. I do not want any other family to have to go through this.

So far Golden Acres is refusing to acknowledge that her dogs carry this genetic trait. Please don't support this breeder.
