I can not believe how horrible GoDaddy or shall we say #NoDaddy is to it's loyal customers. I was told I could have a refund for the website design at the initial stages, I was also told I would have an account manager and copywriter. Long story short I started this Journey in 1 Septt 2017, today is the 15 Dec 2017 and I have no website + I am $5, 000 down the drain. GoDaddy are crooks and stole my money, the offered to give me a 30% refund and keep the rest. Disgusting, this is the treatment I would expect from a dodgy little place not a brand name like GoDaddy. I am fighting my case and have involved Bob the consumer man here in San Diego. Shocking DO NOT USE GODADDY ever...There are so many other fantastic firms to use like Google, Microsoft. GOOD BYE NODADDY... just keep on saying NO to loyal customers, I am just a start up so they are refusing to deal with me or give me back my money.

Godaddy service is really very bad. I have issue with verifying my email address and non of their staffs can help.

Customer is very important to you? I doubt so. I waiting for 24hrs saying that I will be guaranteed that the email verification will be sent to me. However, after more than 24hrs of waiting nothing was even sent.

They can sent through their spam mails of their stupid promotion but they cannot even verify my email! How ridiculous is this! I've tried to resend so many many many times until I'm so frustrated.

The best thing I called their hotline saying that the wait was 5mins. Guess what the call was 25mins of waiting. Plus problem is not even solve until now. I will not use godaddy in my entire life anymore and will be transferring out all my domains I have with them.

The best service I ever have is from siteground. Their service is top notch! Even if they have disappointed me once but they do have a very very good customer service that I do not even feel like leaving and don't mind paying more money to them!

Just spoke to the most unhelpful and obtuse telephone agent for hosting ever. Call was approx 09:30 ACDT (Australia). Date was 7.12.17.

Kept insisting that my account was hacked and was unable to comprehend what I was explaining. Agent refused to believe that an old version of the website had been retrieved.

Her attitude and telephone manner was appalling. We both agreed she didn't possess the 'ability' to help me at the end. Complete doughnut. Customer ID [protected].

I recently lost access to my domain name and e-mail address that I have used as my primary for over 12 years now. I was not given proper notice of the exp date compared to the many other domain names I have owned and operated over the years. I did not even notice that anything was wrong with my Domain name until my e-mail address kept bouncing back from the many clients who were trying to reach me and access our unique luxury services. When I contacted Go Daddy the representative notified me that there is now a new owner of my Domain name as I did not renew it in the time given. I was also not allowed per the new buyer to even use my [protected]@homesrun.net e-mail forward for a short period of time. In essence I was put out of business instantly. I want to know why Go Daddy did not give me proper notice as they have done with all of my other Owned Domains? I also want to know that even under the 30 day quiet period that Go Daddy did not reach out to me again regarding my interest in renewing a Domain name that I have owned for well over 12 Years. Andy why is the Buyer of my Domain Name using my Logos and actual text to infringe upon me and my business on top of the theft that I believe truly happened here. I would like to know what I need to do in order to get my Domain name returned

Go daddy will not release my website files with out a payment for $150 dollars even though i paid for back up services. My credit card expired and I didn't get any notifications. The deactivated my site and now want to charge me even though I paid for back up files. I've been a loyal customer for years. Please help. Im really disappointed in the service

I called to complain about a wrong charge made to my credit card and was very badly attended by Mr Marc (and it was at 10:30pm EST Nov 24th). My card was charged for an auto-renew that was not setup for such. As he goes very arrogantly OBVIOUSLY the auto-renew was setup. I said it wasn't and I am very sure it wasn't, even it gives an option to set it up, but he cannot admit the customer to be right. Ridiculous and horrible service.

I have contacted Go Daddy three times and each time have been put on hold for over 40 minutes. The last time I spoke to an Irish chap who very kindly rang me back, but could not solve my query. I have been unable to edit my web page, I am being told it has dropped out of the system and I only have one page set up but I have been a user of this web page through yourselves for a number of years and my site consists of multiple pages.

I originally contacted Godaddy on 21st November, then 22 November and 23rd November. Today on 24th November the problem is still not fixed. I need to lot into the system to edit the website.

That is a viral promotion that runs periodically for browsers. I tried to access my website 'carrotsandclaret.com' today and was unable to. I logged into GoDaddy and saw that my domain registration had expired. My first complaint is that I received no notification of this. I have been with GoDaddy for several years and I usually receive email notification.

I called GoDaddy support (the UK number), renewed and asked why I wasnt notified. I was told that four emails were sent. I checked my email meticulously and they weren't. So I had to pay a recovery fee I was told by the operator that my website would be up and running in ten minutes.

When I called back at approximately 13.45 today I spoke to Michael. He was very rude and practically called me a liar saying that the previous operator wouldnt have told me that. I was extremely angry. If I had got this rude person the first time I wouldnt have renewed.

I have attached the post from your AZ Employee james lewis. This post was made on 10/31 and was racist in nature. I am sending this message first before I forward this to media outlets and inform them of a godaddy representatives view of black people.

Please handle this matter appropriately and swiftly. I will be sending this to media outlets asap if this matter is ignored.

Buyer beware. GO daddy website development is a complete scam. I was sold a package at approx $2, 000. Turns out half the promised functions are not actually included. Worse still, two months later and they have not provided a draft even though they promised one in 10 days from receipt of my content. Then they refused to refund the purchase price, but only after ignoring my repeated requests for updates on the website and a refund for two weeks.

Save yourself the hassle and do not use GoDaddy

On 4th October I received an email from the company telling me "Your registrant domain name change is pending" for my 8 domains registered with them and including the email address of the alleged new registrant with the warning "Important: If you cannot sign in to your account or someone made unauthorized changes, call our support team at [protected]."
I followed their instructions and called the support team who have basically sent me round in circles for the last 9 days refusing to reinstate my domains - it was their system that was hacked as my access information for their site has never been shared with anyone and my computer has not been hacked. It has reached a totally ridiculous level of communication where they are refusing to reinstate my domains - all of which are business critical and they have effectively crippled my businesses for 9 days with no email - because they will not accept a black and white scan of my passport insisting on a colour copy and insisting that my passport is not even sufficient identification. Frankly I have never, in almost 50 years of business, experienced such incompetent, unprofessional, and ignorant customer service.

I received a deactivation notice for no reason I renewed by products on time on Monday October 9th.
I spent over an hour trying to call someone with no luck as I was put on hold for long time.
Then a chat analyst finally tells me it was an error.
This occurred today at 10:00am est my account number is [protected]

Very disappointed to go thru this and spent an hour of time for no reason.

I reached out to a domain seller to purchase a domain on 7/18/17. I was advised to use a domain buy service which I did on 8/30/17. Unfortunately, I choose GoDaddy. They suggested a minimal offer of $40-$100 should easily secure the domain. They reached out to the seller on my behalf, purchased the domain through another company they own called Afternic. Prior to today, 10/10/17 I have had no update from GD and every time I call to speak to my Broker Wes (in Domain Buy), "he's away from his desk". I asked to speak to a Supervisor today and got Chad (in Domain Buy) who has rude, talked over me at every opportunity, refused to give me his last name or employee ID, and told me he would not be putting a Supervisor on the phone.

Prior to my decision today to never do business with this company again I was advised by GoDaddy that they will continue to try to contact the seller since they do not offer refunds, but I should be prepared to pay $8, 000 for the domain.

Before I rant, I'd like to say that I was not a prospective customer as of now for GoDaddy. I just was researching GoDaddy for a school project. But now, for all my future websites that I was planning to go through GoDaddy, I will seek elsewhere!

The customer support person, Andrew C. was rude. Simply put. And when I called him out on it, he said it was because I was not buying. Hmm. Took me a second to think about it. But as a customer service representative, does speaking to a person that is not at this time willing to buy give you a right to be an [censor]? Nope!

I hope his manager sees this and he fired! Gosh. Really ruined my day.

Dear Sir
I am one of thousands of small customer of yours since last few years and found Godaddy Customers service always very helpful and supportive.

However, I recently had a problem with my Contact us page form as it was delivering the email when someone was completing the form on my website. My web developer spent a lot of time to fix this issue and finally told me that there is issue with Godaddy Server which ultimately proved to be correct. He told me that when he runs my website on his server, the contact us page works fine and it sends emails which was correct because I was getting emails on my email address.

However, the Godaddy server was only sending one email per hour due to change in relay settings. I requested Godaddy several time (around 15 calls) that you should change the relay setting. Everytime representatives told me that either the relay setting has been updated or it is already correct.

Well after spending several weeks on this issue, one of Godaddy representative suggested me to buy Wordpress Premium support service 5 credits for £92.39. He said that I will get a refund of unused credits and one credit is equal to one instance. He mentioned this clearly that I will get a refund of unused credit if I don’t use them within a month them which I agreed and I bought WP support credits.

I asked them to fixed the contact us page. Godaddy team worked on the contact us page and I received an email from Wordpress Support service team that the issue has been fixed. When i checked the contact us page, it was still not fixed. I called again Godaddy and your representative told me that replay setting was sending one email per hour. I requested him to change it which he did and Contact us page started working.

The issue was clearly with the relay setting which should have been fixed without buying wordpress support service. This was simple issue which I spent three weeks to get it fixed.
Well after all this, i requested two days ago for the 4 credits to be refunded (£73.91 = 4 credits) as I used only one credit for contact us page instance but they refused stating that £92.39 is non-refundable (order ID number [protected]).

I am really disappointed with the way I have been missold wordpress premium service in the first instance and then I was given wrong information that I will get a refund of unsed credit. You can check the recordings. I am a one man business and it was totally unfair on me for these addition charges to Godaddy and web developer together with several hours on the phone to get the issued fixed.

I believe that my contact us page should have been fixed without Wordpress Premium service and it is totally unfair that I have been charged for £92.39. I understand that the Godaddy had issues with their emails during those days which may have cause this problem.

I would kindly request you to refund the full amount of £92.39 or at least 4 credits of £73.91 which were agreed by Godaddy representative.

Goddady Email service was completly down for more than 12 hours without warning of it's system upgrade to customers, causing total loss of email business and personal communications.

You would expect a multi billion dollar company to have redundant systems in place.

Yeah, I hope this company wakes up. No email going or coming on our email server for several hours, and after they said they fixed the problem, only sporadic emails coming and going. And no evidence that emails sent and received during the outage still exist: no way to run a business, and many of us are thinking seriously about pulling out for good.
