I ordered the Acai Berry Edge online after reading the NOT SO TRUE internet add luring victims into their scam.

The add said you would get a Risk-FREE 21-day trial of the product (two bottles) from the date of purchase. All you would have to pay is $3.97 for shipping and handling. Risk-FREE??? I THINK NOT!!! I placed my order online on the 12th of January. They didn't ship my bottle until January 26th (post mark) . This did not give me time to test the product. When I tried to call the numbers provided: [protected] or [protected], I could never get through to anyone. I became skeptical and had a sinking feeling I had been scammed. The numbers would always say:"You have 35 people ahead of you". If this was true, it probably was because there were 35 people calling to complain!!! I continued to call these numbers every day and for several hours, and could never get through. I later found out that on the 21st day after placing my order, GNS charged my account $79.00 and sent me an email that my consequent orders were going to be delivered to me if I didn't stop the "auto-order" program. In order to stop the "auto-program" membership, I would have to email them at slimbodycoach.com or call them at the numbers provided. I sent them many emails and got no response. I called the numbers and could not get through. I then decided to return the two bottles I received, but once again, on the return label it said to call and get a "Return Authorization (RA) Number" that I would need to place on the return envelope, otherwise my 100% refund would not be processed. Guess what?!!! I couldn't get through the number. This is a total scam and a very sneaky way to do business. CONSUMERS BE AWARE !!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

I intend to prosecute them to the furthest extent of the law. I think a Class Action Law Suit is in order because I know there are other people out there that have been victimized by GNS.

    I to did place an order and guess what two weeks later I still have not received any product. I to called the same phone number that you did and have the same response. I did after 10 min of sitting on the phone did get someone and that person gave me a an e-mail address to turn my complaint in to and to deal with them. Well guess what that e-mail address does exist. I will call my credit card company today to cancel my card.

    I too got scammed into ordering the product. After I placed the order on Jan. 10, I read it again and decided I did not want to be rushed into returning the item so I called to cancel the order. I was told very rudely that the orders go out every 20 minutes and it had already been shipped but if I wanted to cancel she would give me a RMA number that was good for 10 days. I figured if it had been shipped I would receive it in a couple of days, right? After all, they are in Colorado and I am in California. So I waited and waited and waited and then started calling and emailing demanding to know where my order was. The trouble was I could no longer get thru to the 800 numbers and I couldn't get a response to my emails. I threatened to report them to the Colorado Better Business Bureau (which I did).
    Finally on the 20th day I received the order with the notice that my card would be charged $79.90 on Feb 5th and another order would be shipped out shortly. I tried to call them to get another RMA number (couldn't get through..you get an "all circuits busy" recording).
    I was angry and placed and additional complaint through the BBB. Still I could not get through, and they never responded to my emails.

    It just so happened that over the weekend I lost my debit card and had to call the bank to have it replaced.

    Today is Feb 5th. Guess what I heard from them.

    And here is MY response:

    You know I tried to call you MANY times with an all-circuits busy response (can't get through) and emailed you half a dozen times with no response. Check your email records. I've tried to get return instructions and cancel my orders and no one bothers to email me back. NOW that you can't get my money, you bother to "grace" me with an email.
    I didn't even receive the order until 20 days after I ordered it. Funny how that works so you don't have time to send it back within the 21-day "trial" period. And don't try to tell me it takes that long to process the order because I called to cancel the same day I ordered it and was rudely told that your orders go out every 20 minutes and my order had already been shipped. At that time she gave me a RMA number that was only good for 10 days, yet it took 20 days to receive the order.
    I've researched your company on scam sites and found dozens of complaints and unfavorable information. I told you if you don't respond to me, I would report you to the BBB, which I did.

    I am not paying you. I will return your product if you give me return instructions.

    Thanks to many of you, I was able to hopefully put a stop to my hell. I too, like most of you thought I was just getting a bottle for $3.95 (shipping) free trial but how I got saved was through my credit card company. To this day I owe that woman from the company everything! My credit card called me to tell me that this company not only sends you one shipment but lots of them and will continue to charge you. I called GNS approximately 3 hrs. after I ordered (was working) and they told me the same BS that they had already shipped it and not to worry because they would cancel my next orders all together. RIGHT! Well guess what, like everyone else, I got my order about 25 days later and of course it came with an invoice telling me I will be charged $79.90 on my next statement. Sure enough I called them again 3x until I got someone on the phone. This lady told me the same BS that she would make sure that the cancellation went through even giving me yet another cancellation confirmation number. All a bunch of @#$%^!! Today I look at my credit card acct on line and discovered that they did infact charge me $79.90! So I called my credit card company, told them what happened and they assured me that they will NOT be paying the $79.90 and neither would I. They cancelled my card and is sending me a new one. I can only rest easy in a month or so when I see my new card and no charges from these crazy people.

    By the way too wrote them and got some crazy email back that appeared to be the standard email to everyone who writes them. There is no support!! Biggest scam ever!
    Please please please, whoever is scammed by them continue to spread their bad business around.

    Great!!! I have just been sucked in. I also placed an order online for a "trial" bottle for $3.97. I ended up with 3 orders??? And, yes, they took forever to be shipped. I sent an email to cancel on the 10th of Feb, I received a message that customer support was very busy and I was to email my request for cancellation, which I did. On the 14th I recieved 3 emails that my card was being charged $79.90(X3 mind you). On the 16th, the following Monday, I was charged the 3 times causing an overdraft in my account. I am going to call the bank and dispute the charges, except I think they will only return all but $50 while it is in dispute.
    Does anybody even know if this crap even works????

    It's all true. This is a major league scam. I'd suggest you report your credit card lost or stolen ASAP. I reported to them to the postal service, Colorado Attorney General and the BBB. Hard to believe that they are still pulling this off...

    I TOO HAVE BEEN SUCKED IN BY THESE CHARLETONS. I ORDERED A FREE TRIAL JAN 30TH - THE TWO UNITS ARRIVED 17TH FEB - MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT 20TH FEB. I HAVE REPEATEDLY TRIED TO RING THEM BUT THEY ARE ENGAGED OR ASK YOU TO WAIT - I TRIED WAITING FOR 45MINS STILL NO REPLY. I HAVE EVEN GOT UP IN THE NIGHT TO RING AND THEY WERE ENGATED!!! I HAVE EMAILED BUT NO RESPONSE!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! DOES OPRAH KNOW THE PEOPLE SHE IS ENDORSING?

    I was wondering the same thing, about Oprah and Rachel Ray and the news programs that seem to endorse this product, but maybe that's just a scam as well? Thankfully I found this website and the complaints and I canceled my debit card, after I couldn't get a hold of them I figured that was the only option to make sure I wouldn't be charged for their bs product. I won't order anything like this online ever again. I wish you could post a notice on their blogs so other people could no better.

    these people are thiefs. i canceled my order the second day, but they also charged my debit card for the vitamins i never ordered.when i finally got through to them and complained they took the $1.00 off my card, then a few weeks later they charged my card for the same vitamins that i never ordered $79.90. i will go to the bank and have these charges removed from these thieving jerks. i wished i had read all these complaints before even going on line to check this crap out. if there's a class action lawsuit, i will be in it.

    As I post this comment, I have been on hold for 40 minutes!!! I to, like the rest of you, have been taken by these scammers. I have emailed and made numerous attempts to call them. I canceled my debit card this morning. I wonder how long it will take for them to contact me???????

    The attached is the E-Mail I sent 11 times b4 I git a reply. I also was unable to get through on the phone lines. A class action suite is a possibility.
    There is no minimum to buy and you can cancel at any anytime by calling us at 1-800-595-4670 or emailing our Advanced Customer Support Team at support2@gnshelp.com. (We are open M-F, 7a-11p MT, Sat-Sun 8a-5p MT).
    This is E-Mail #12 and I still have had no reply. My name is Don Carroll ref. order # 1077734. I wish to cancel any further shipments. I did receive 2 bottles and was told that I would be billed $79.90 on 2/14/09. After this date and this withdrawal, I should not see any further withdrawals or shipments. Your advertisement was deceptive, in that it told me that I would receive a sample to try and make a determination if I wanted further product. I paid the $3.97 for the shipping, but come to find out I received 2 bottles of product and was told that I would be billed $79.97 less than two weeks after arrival of the product. I would like a confirmation that you received this E-Mail and conformation that the shipment and charges will cease.
    I will continue to send this E-Mail until I get an answer!!
    I have received no further product. I expect any charges to be refunded immediately, as I have been sending this same E-Mail for several days. I expect a reply very quickly. All you have to do is reply and these will stop

    I am following the directions above and would like cancellation of all further shipments and payments.

    I think this company is misrepresenting the Acai Berry Edge to the public. I ordered and paid the shipping.(order # 1175413) I have emailed the company 3 times and have not been contacted by anyone. Of course, you must call for a return # or the return will not be processed. This is truly a scam. I can't afford to have my account charged for any more product and I want the first shipment canceled. I did not ask for auto shipping and do not want it. This company will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I have contacted my bank to retrieve the $79.97 that was charged this week.

    If there is anyone there, pleasea respond to this email. Like the person above, I will cancel my credit card if I have to. I hope you have good lawyers because it sounds like there are many more like me.

    I LOOKED AT THE PRODUCT ON LINE AND EVEN FILLED IN THE FORM BUT DID NOT SEND IT IN. I AM 74 YRS OLD AND DID NOT REALIZE THAT THEY STILL WERE ABLE TO GET THE INFORMATION I HAD FILLED IN. SOMEONE CALLED ME AT HOME & I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THE ACAI FOR JUST THE SHIPPING ($3.97). I HAD SURGERY SCHEDULED AND THEY TOLD ME NOT TO TAKE ANY HERBAL PRODUCTS SO I DID NOT START THE ACAI FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS. BY THAT TIME THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL $79.90. I DID GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE AFTER HOLDING CLOSE TO AN HOUR & THEY OFFERED TO HALVE THE PRICE IF I WOULD KEEP THEM. I'M SORRY THAT I AGREED TO THAT BUT MY HUSBAND SAID IT WAS SUCH A SCAM THAT HE CALLED THEM BUT THEY SAID THEY WOULDN'T TAKE THEM BACK AND WOULDN'T GIVE HIM A RGA. THANK GOODNESS WE USED AMERICAN EXPRESS BECAUSE THEY WILL TAKE IT OFF WHILE THEY INVESTIGATE THE CHARGE. I DID TAKE TWO CAPSULES ONE NIGHT BEFORE I WENT TO BED AND COULDN'T GO TO SLEEP. I DON'T WANT THEM AT ANY PRICE!
