On December 2004 the ACCC accepted administrative undertakings from Ray White and one of it agencies(Ray White Paddington aka Glynis Austin Properties) following allegations of misleading and deceptive advertising, following complaints about the advertising and auction of three properties in Brisbane inner city suburbs in late 2003, the ACCC expressed concern that the properties promoted using indicative prices significantly below prices at which they were passed in at auction.Ray White Pty Ltd and its agent Glynis Austin, acknowledged that the actions may have raised implications under the misleading and deceptive provisions of the Act.ACCC chairman Mr Graeme Samuel said that he was disappointed with the levelof cooperation provided by Ray White Pty, Ray White Paddington and its agent.Ray White Paddington was fined for its disgraceful actions

Glynis Austin is a dirty little scammer.I advertised my property with this real estate agent.She dirverted my inquiries from my property to the more expensive propertys.I was paying for her to advertise my property while she diverted the inquiries to other properties.For months i had no inquiries.I already purchased another property and needed to sell as i was paying the loan for both the properties.I had friends inquire about my property, she was bad mouthing it and even suggested not to buy it.I would not recommend Glynis Austin to no one, she is the next Heather Filippini.When i took my listing to the agent next door, i sold my property with in a month.Avoid these scammers at Ray White Paddington Brisbane.Do not be fooled by her using a different marketing name.She works out of Ray White Paddington Brisbane

I called Gynis inquiring about a property for purchase only to be met with a rude short and abrupt grumpy old lady. By far the worst agent I have dealt with. Wouldn't want her to earn a cent of commission from the sale. Sellers beware, she will scare away potential qualified buyers - you've been warned.
