I fell for the Glow Skin and Skin Beauties procducts. Paid about $4.95 for EACH sample. One was a day and night Equinox creams and another sample within the same ad, for RVTL Anti Aging cream. The ad online read Ellen Degeneres has a secret no one knows about. I received my samples and later looked online about these products. Read reviews that after you receive the free samples, you are charged over $90 EACH and why I still don't know. I didn't read or receive any info they would do this. Today I found on my bank acct, Glow Skin took out $93.74 and Skin Beauties took $99.79. Bad time of year being Christmas and my rent is due the first of month. When I called the company, 877-862-9835, they said having computer problems and to call back tomorrow. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS HAPPEN TO YOU?

This also happened to me. The payment is pending with my credit union so I'm hoping to head it off tomorrow. There is a website, scambook, where I've read additional complaints re this. Apparently, scambook can help people get their money back.

I discovered yesterday that Skin Glo had taken £95 from my bank account.. so I have sent them a text yesterday- Sunday-and will call them this morning. Hopefully they will refund me. Did anyone get their money back?

There are a number of complaints posted on scambooks.com & on Facebook where I originally saw the add for the skincare products.

cannot seem to able to reach this company to cancel and not to take money off my account.$99.00 am calling right now am waiting for them to come back on hold they came back and are suppose to cancel my account well they said it both canceled here is the #1-855-303-3276. see if it works for you.

this crooked people just took $99.00 for MOD SKIN EQUINOX and $93.00 for PRIME SKIN EQUINOX. There was nothing on the web site saying 14 days trial. When I called them that's when they call me it was 14 days trial but it never said on line otherwise I will cancel before 14 days is up.

This company is a scam! Thanks for posting the phone number. I called to cancel and get a refund and was told that I have to wait until Monday to speak with a Refund Manager. I am to email him at customerservice@rvtlskin.com . When I called to cancel, he had the nerve to continue to try to sell me a better deal. I told him that I want nothing to do with a company that isn't forthcoming in their business practices.

Also just had a run in with the Equinox Customer Service representative when I noticed I had a $99 charge on my Visa account and was told it was because I did not cancel within 14 days. There was nothing on the Internet that said anything about a 14 day cancellation necessary. It only stated that it was a 30 day free trial and all you had to pay was the shipping and handling of $4.95. Also, when I tried to cancel my order that I just placed it seems no one is able to cancel that either. This a crooked operation and I told them I would contact my attorney about this. They told me to call back in an hour and they would have an answer for me. Sure no one will be there that can take care of the problem at that time either.

I am shocked that companies like this can get away with charging £90 for such a small sample bottle! I sent off for the free trial pot for £2.99 postage. After entering my credit card details, a further offer was made to me to purchase another pot for 99p. I couldnt enter the same card details, so I entered my debit card details. Only one pot arrived, but since I only paid £3.99 in total I didnt think to pursue it. This was mid January,
On 4th February, £89.00 was taken from both my credit and debit cards.
On 17th February, £95 was taken from both my credit and debit cards.
I didn't realise until the 18th February whilst at the bank, questioning why my account was low on funds. I felt sick! WHO would pay these amounts for cream in the first place I have no idea!
I telephoned the company and was dealt with by a lovely member of staff who had clearly dealt with MANY complaints before. They said that I would be charged full price for the first pot as I didn't contact them within 30 days. She eventually agreed to refund me £89 for the second part which never arrived. When I questioned the two payments of £95, I was advised that they were on their way to me. If I refused to take them on delivery, I would be charged a restocking fee. If I took them then posted them back, I would have to pay delivery plus restocking fee. I was told the only way forward for me was to take the package, and they would take the amount they would have charged for restocking fees plus delivery which left £65 per pot. I was devastated. I received an email confirming they would process a refund.
Today I received confirmation emails stating that three lots of £50 have been refunded... WHAT????? I paid £388 and I receive £150??????? How can this be morally right????? When will these scam artists be stopped?

i have just been robbed of £89 And £95 how do you go about getting your money back ?cream and serum brought me out in spots too !!! going to have loads off bank charges for unpaid direct debits now also, not got that sort off money for someone to take.

I too fell for this scam. I thought I was agreeing to cost of £2.99 for delivery only! But now find I have had £184.00 taken out of my credit card account. It seems people don't notice until the second payment is taken. There is no confirmation of order, the despatch note does not contain any Company details, or any notification of charges. All emails sent to their customer services are ignored. You only see a copy of the Company agreement once you have realised that you need to complain, by which time the 14 days cancellation expires.
I phoned the "Customer service" and spoke to a man who could barely speak English, and proceeded to try and offer me a discount if I was having trouble affording the product!!! I told him I was returning the product with in the 30 days and as required needed him to give me a "RETURN MERCHANDISE NUMBER" He then refused as he said the 30days had expired from the order date! I would not be aware of this as i didn't place the order. I was going by the shipment date on the depatch note! he flatly refused.
It seems they have everything covered and just count on people giving up and putting it down to experience! I think this needs to be investigated and stopped as a lot of people are loosing a lot of money.

Also been "had" by this company - still disputing via Barclaycard and have returned the products but don't know if I'll get anything back of my nearly £400!!! Not something I can afford.

Just been had too! No Equinox product delivered and been charged the shipping fee. When I called up the guy (same one who could barely speak English) he was totally unhelpful and tried to fob me off, saying that it was ok because I'd received the RVTL!! Wanker. I've cancelled my card so the scamming company won't be able to take further money out, but they must pay for this. Speaking to him, I actually think he's a one-man-bandit operating out of his bedroom in England. Does anyone know which online magazine this company was advertising on (the Ellen Degeneres ad) as surely they also have a moral obligation not to promote this sh*t?!

I hate being "had"! What makes me even angrier is that WELLS FARGO told me that "this company's website states that you must cancel within 14 days, which you did not do; therefore, we cannot stop payment on this charge". If it's UNAUTHORIZED, don't they HAVE TO?

I just made my order and after reading these complaints. I shut down my debit card and got a new card, just in case they decide to try me. I am one step ahead of them baby.

On June 13, 2014 I came across the advertisement for the
anti-aging product on https://www.rvtlskin.com/,
of course the actual link does not work any longer http://www.celebrityhealthandfitness.com/#sthash.PE355c0v.dpuf. However, it was attached to this article, http://ellen.com-lv.us/psn/ca/. The company offered a free trial try it for
14 days just pay shipping and handling of $4.95. After signing in with my contact information
there is another link saying these products works better together and requested
that I enter my info again to receive both items.

Times go on and on June 28, 2014, I received a call from
Visa Fraud Prevention to verify charges of $99.00 on a declined
transaction. At that time, I did not
recall authorizing anything for $99.00, so I stated no. After thinking about it, and checking back
into my emails I see the charge was from this Company RVTL, I thought, “hey I
have not received the products”.

I immediately called to company to inform them I had not
received the product and no longer wanted it and requested the subscription be
cancelled. They insisted that the
product has shipped, after a heated debate I asked for proof of delivery and
requested that the shipment be traced.

The customer service person put me on hold for a while to
trace the shipment, when he returned to the telephone he stated” the package
has not left the packing company. He
will cancel the subscription and I will not be charged any more, cancellation
number 1823683 dated June 28, 2014.

So here is my dilemma, how can I try the product for 14 days
if I cannot get it my hands before this time is up why should I pay anything. Sometime within this cycle, I check my bank
account and there is a charge for $4.95 and an additional charge for $3.97. I
do not recall anything for $3.97 but found it was attached to these products
and it was a small amount, it was not worth the fight.

I received the first product about 4 days after the
cancellation. I though ok its cancelled
I was not going to worry about it.

I checked my account on July 14, and discovered another
charge of $79.20 from July 8, 2014 from Equinox. I called the company; again they stated the
product had shipped (This was the second item Equinox). I informed the customer service person that I
cancelled this on June 28, 2014. She
insisted the product had shipped even though she saw that it was
cancelled. She refused to refund my
money stating as the CS Rep prior stated I will ship you another product.

I informed the company that I no longer want to do business
with their company and felt their actions were unethical and they are ripping
people off. CS put me on hold to track
the package; she returned stating it is still at the post office. Again, the product has not shipped yet they
want to charge me.

What kind of company does this? After a debate, she stated she will refund me
and it will take about 2-3 days to see the money in my account. July 14, 2014, I received an email stating
that the refund have been approved but only for $60.00, the email stated the
remaining was a restocking fee.

Why should I be responsible for a restocking fee on an item
that I have not received? I called the
company again and argued with the CS person who refused to let me speak with a
manager and stated they were only refunding not $60.00 not but $59.00.

At this point, I want a refund for all of my
money, that includes the $4.95, the $3.97 and the $79.20 because I only
received one of the items and it was after the trial period was over. The second item I have not received at all and
here we are a month into the 14 day trial

why are they still allowed to advertise, charging people all different prices, i sent for a sample, supposedly £2.99, changed on my statement £6.95, £89 taken out later on, rang customer service, they said another was on it's way, never received anything, made my face feel dry, useless stuff, said they would refund the full amount, only had £40 refunded, why are they still doing this fraud, to elderly people and others, when is something going to be done about it

I have had the same scam experience, having received four months of these products. The company refused to accept return of unopened product, as this was outside the 14. Day trial period. They accept no liability for situation and have deducted €489.72 for Equinox and €502.39 for RVTL. (€992.11 total) As mentioned already they had the nerve to ask if I was satisfied with products and if I would be interested in new reduced price offer. Some chance...

I ordered a free trial. Received my product yesterday and later found all the bad scam reviews. So I called my CC company today to see what I can do. Representative suggested to call and cancel my subscription with her being on the line with me. That's what I did. Conversation was recorded by my CC company. All I need to do is to return the product within 30 days of purchase. Hope it will help others to figure out this problem. Maybe the best way to go is to have your bank representative present in a conversation.
