Cell C cell phone sent for repairs

My phone didn't want to charge anymore I then took it in to cell c promenade as it was still under warrenty, I received a call from the repaire centre saying my phone was water damage and I will have to pay R2600 for a new board I told her that it cant be and I'm not willing to pay that money .she told me that they were then going to send back the broken phone which they did I took it somewhere els and paid R300 to replace a charging block the guy also gave me a statement saying that there was nothing els wrong with my phone

Cell C No service - app not working; phones not answered after 8:00 am

Good day

My cell number is [protected]. You advertise the app, which I downloaded. This app has not worked since day one. I am unable to purchase a data bundle on this app. When I query this with your call centre, they say it is being sorted out. This is two months now.
I called your call centre at 8:05 and received a message that I must call during your office hours which starts at 8:00... Really?

I want to know when the app will work so that I can purchase bundles instantly a advertised by you.
Can you please ask your call centre to adhere to your office hours.

Cell C overcharged for unknown services

On the 29th December 2016 I went to a cell c store at Jubilee mall for an upgrade on my dad's contract. Took the Huawei P9 lite that was advertised for R189 on the booklet, then I told the consultant not to add anything extra because I am not interested at that point I just need a phone as my phone was stolen the previous week, He promised that there won't be anything added on the mobile contract. February 2017 when the first debit order went off it was R387.99 and not the R189.99 that I saw on the booklet. I checked the papers and the invoice papers said R189.99 and the other paper said R329. I went to the store and they told me the matter would be fixed and it wasn't, they kept on deducting R387.99 then in June 2017 my father became ill and I was give power of attorney over his finances. Went back to the cell c store with all documents including those stating that I have power of attorney but the consultants refused to assist me and said that he had to come to the store and tell them that he wants to transfer the contract to me. Ooh by the way this is someone who is bed ridden and can't even talk. They still continue deducting the same R387.99 despite numerous attempts to get them to sort this matter out. Tried the call centre and they also kept sending me from pillar to post. The phone according to their papers cost R5299 and cell c is supposed to deduct R328.99 for 24 months (incl. VAT) meaning that cell c is selling the phone for R7895.76 gaining and extra R2596. Then now they deducting R 387.99 for 24 months (incl. VAT) making that a total of R9311.76 meaning that they are gaining R4012.76. Due to this wrong deduction amount.
All I need to know is how do I solve this matter and cancel the bloody contract because i can't work with people who steal my father's money and see nothing wrong with that. It's been 15 months since I took this contract and have already paid R5819.85 again cell c have gained an extra R520.85 from scamming a person who is bed ridden and cannot fix this matter themselves.

Cell C Service not good

+[protected] this is my cell nr. If you check your system you would see how long do I complain without sucesse. Now is my phone suspend again. Please can we sort this out I did not recieved a phone? I only pay for airtime. You suspend the phone because I still own money. But I can't see how do I own money if I pay every month my share. Can you please come back to me. Urgently because I need a phone.

Cell C poor service by cell c

It is a problem to me right now. I had a contract with cell c in 2016 and it expires but cellc never updated my profile. I hate this as is appears on credit bureau while I am no longer even a cell c customer. My number is [protected] it was my cell c ported number I left them because of poor service. Their customer care line is useless no one ever responds to that nonsense. Please clear my name

My current number is [protected] other is [protected] call me in any of the above. I am now trying to get a new car and celc pops out on my credit I hate Cellc just yesterday I spent R30 trying to Cal celc who never bothers to take my call I was put on hold for an hour. What kind of network is that? Celc is really a disgrace we paying these services for God's sake. Why not update my profile while I never owe them anything. I was never in arrears too. I HATE CELLC WITH ALL MY HEART AND MIND. POOR NETWORK NOW I HAVE TO USE TAXIS IN THIS COLD BECAUSE I OWE CELLC THAT I AM NOT EVEN USING.

Cell C cell contract upgrade

on the 3rd of May I did an upgrade on my cell number: [protected].

Cell C assisted me urgently as I was bringing business to them. I upgraded to LTA Advance, after they advised me that there was a coverage on my area. I received the package with the cell ruoter, but unfortunately there was no coverage.

I called cell c and they advised me there is nothing they can do, I will have to return the router, and I did (ref: RW18700650) the following day. On the 18 May 2018 I spoke to cellC (Ref number: [protected] Themba Sithole at 14:16) and confirm that contract was cancelled and nothing is due to me as there was no coverage.

to my suprise, got the bill and I now owe cell ZAR512 for this, I called cellc and they told me that my number is still running and according to my knowledge this number is cancelled. I then disputed the amount, case number [protected] (was raised by Wandile) been calling cell c to get this resolved but it seems as they are not willing to.

I am not going to pay for the service that I didn't use. I am so annoyed with the service I am receiving from cell

Cell C network coverage resolution

I have been forced to start putting the trueth out there

For 6 months I have been having coverage issues with Cell C, a Router on contract, a contract number as well as a prepaid. All To do with Data .

I have called and logged request, several, probably in the "10's" . Each and every time the request being closed . The later 10 or 20, demanding reference numbers and no closure to request until I confirm it resolved. In Each and every case the case being closed . Problem unresolved. I get a call durring a meeting and advise to email me . Next thing i get an SMS telling me to rate there service. Call back when after hours, been told that request closed. And a new request .

Each and every time new reference number, new explination, new case . Case closed ... No resolution ...

I have asked several time for complaints line, someone log a case at customres care, send it to Tech ... who log a case, close it next day ...

This all in effort to avoid them canceling contract due to the FACT they cannot resolve issues ..

The furtherest i got, with a 6 months old reference is that is it "roaming" and case sitting with Vodacom, , but i still have to PAY ...

6 months, unresolved because they don't care ...

I pay for the roaming

I Demand it resolved and if they cannot figure the issue then by all means, cancel my contract and i will move to cell company i dont need CEll C roaming issues ... 6 Months i got to use friends Network, MTN and Vodacom, who work perfectly fine

CELL C coverage on roaming, useless

I am going to repeat this on all complaints over and over, I want my contract cancellled, if you, "CEll C" cannot sort your romaing problems, why i should i pay for a service you simply just cannont deliver

Cell C cell c debit order

I (WJ van der Walt) was trying to take over Mrs van Rensburg Cell C contract due to the fact that she has lost her work. I went with Mrs van Rensburg to Cell C to do the paperwork. Unfortunate there was some money outstanding and Mrs van Rensburg said that she will pay the outstanding money. Then Derrick from Cell C in Irene said that we can change the banking details in the mean time. We did change the banking details. Then Mrs van Rensburg was not in the position to pay the outstanding monies owned to Cell C. I than decided not to proceed with the taking over of the said Cell C contract. But Cell C was already deducting money from my bank account. I did wrote numerous letters to Cell C to remove the debit order from my bank account as I am not the responsible person for the contract. Cell C is ignoring my request due to the fact that Cell C keeps on deducting the money from my account after numerous request to remove my banking details from your system. The above mentioned contract is in the name of Mrs van Rensburg, ID no [protected] and not in my name. Every time I did had to do a reversal of the debit order and it is costing me a lot of money.

Cell C c surance mobile claim

I have been struggling with C Surance,
I need urgent assistance with my claim, the level of service I have been receiving from your customer service department is extremely disappointing, slow and very bad.
I submitted a claim for my cell phone have paid the excess on the 30th of May 2018 and to date no one has com back to me on progress.
When I call your call centre I am informed your system is down and I need to call back later as my ticket cannot be tracked.
This is disappointing, unprofessional and extremely frustrating.

Please can someone assist as I wanted to escalate to your head office and I was informed by Nozi Shange one of your employees she is not allowed to give me your head office number.

Cell C new device claim an iphone

I sent all the relevant documents that when needed by cell c and the was no correspondence for two weeks. i had to call to find out what going on with the claim. The checked and the claim has been approved i have to wait, i waited another two weeks and when calling the cell c insurance i have to wait for an hour and all invain not speaking to a consultant. finally when i spoke to one she said they were awaiting for the access fee that i needed to pay. i ask if i am a sangoma that in need to consult the bones to know because i never had a call or an email. i paid that access fee the next thing the told me to choose between an NOKIA 3/HUEW/LG for an iphone phone i had. I struggled another two to three weeks calling and no solution. until one saturday i have to be rude for the consultant to refer me to a manager. the had two iphones and said they are ordering that i may receive it. after 6weeks i have not received the phone. today i went to collect the phone, it was not sent with relevant information that the consultant may give to me. She call cell c insurance and we wait for an hour and the consultant drop the phone, she had to call again it was dropped again. i left the store again with no cellphone which i am billed every month and inclusive the insurance.

Now i need help as they put the blame on the service provider ( hollad Cell insurance) .

I NEED RESOLUTION URGENTLY .

It seems like Cell C insurance isn't very good at handling customer claims, as I have been waiting for a new device for 3 weeks now. Just a simple old Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime plus. I don't see the point of insuring your device if it is such a hassle to get a new one

Cell C broken device

Was just in ur cell c store in Cavendish and had the most horrible service one of the guys I spoke to yusuf could not assist and also a young lady giving me all sorts of stories about me booking my phone why can't ur train your staff better and not let the customer feel like sh just wanted to book in my device that's all no all the rules but still nothing wow Cavendish square staff horrible

Cell C simswap

Contacted cellc trying to do my simswap ([protected]), was told to go to their branch with ID and Proof of residents, I took the documents to midrand cellc, I was then told that they can't help as I can't remember last 5 dialed number, after 10 years with them that's the service I get from them. No efforts
Made to resolve my problems they can see that I have been using the line, I'm working shifts and studying which make it difficult to do simswap. Now that's I have finished writing exams I made time to get it sorted as I don't want to lose the numbers

Cell C blocking number [protected]

I had this contract for many years. At the end of last year I received an exorbitant account for data usage, even though I have wifi at home and one of the days that I was supposed to have used it for the entire day was the day I buried my mother. After explaining and complaining to I can't remember how many agents, the penny eventually dropped with one and he was going to reverse the overcharge. The back office however, did not allow him to do so. To cut a long story short, I cancelled my contract as I did not have energy for people stealing my money and still insisting that they're in the right. I had my number ported to 'pay as you go' and verified with the agent that the account was paid up to date. Last week I received a call from a CellC agent to say that I owe R248, even though my account was paid up to date and I have received no statements from CellC.
My number has now been blocked!
I'm not sure what bullying tactics and thievery goes on in CellC, but I would like my number reinstated with immediate effect of I will be taking further action!

Cell C cell c jazz phone and summit

Hi my aunt took a contract phone with cell c she received 2 phones which is cell c jazz and summit one of the phones is not working it only worked one day and it was off it looks like the simple card is not registered and the phone does not want to switch on at all she called but no one helps her I work at a retail company and I will inform ppl for the bad service that u give to customers by this I will make sure u loose customers and tell my aunt not to pay for the phones as this is not right at all

Cell C pay r1000. get a free summit phone and 12 gigs data in total. one gig a month if you reload r50 airtime

This contract was taken out in February.
Bought R50 airtime. No data.
Get told only from March
In March but R50 airtime.
Get told NO such contract.
Eventually prove there is.
They load one gig manually.
Next month get an sms saying load R50 get a gig.
Do it. No gig. Repeat calls and go to branch.
Get a gig.
May month. Repeat. Send letter of demand. Return phobr. I Get a mail saying it is fixed.
June. Load R50. Hey one gig. Wait no gig.
And the manager Bafana has left so the branch is not interested.
Now return the money please.

Cell C contract that was cancelled

My cell c contract came to an end in March 2018. I phoned the call centre and cancelled the contract with cancellations department. The lady informed me that the last debit would go off on 1 April. For the last two months I have been receiving airtime from cell c (which I did not want). I phoned cell c end of May and they informed me that contract is not cancelled. My reference for my complaint is [protected]. The lady Brigid informed me on 8 June that I have to give a months notice and that my contract will end July. I am not happy and I do not want to give cell c another cent. Please can I get assistance with my complaint.

I am in precise the same situation. Contract expired end of March, called in May to cancel, and were told I have to pay 2 more months before the contract will be cancelled by end July. I have 3 contracts with CellC, and I am cancelling all 3 as their services are so POOR! 2 years is enough for me with Cell C thank you!

Cell C upgrade! bad service! broken device! no feedback from cell c

I applied for an upgrade 25 may 2018. 26 may 2018 returned the device to the store as it heated up. I was turned away and told to come back the monday 28 may 2018 which i did and returned the device. Was told that it needs to be sent away. I booked the phone in and was advised it will reach jhb thursday 21 may 2018. I called headoffice on the 4th june 2018 and spoke to Gary and was advised that according to their system no device was booked in and that i still had the device he said he will email the store to have it delivered urgently. I called retentions and spoke to siphokazi a manager who advised they will cancel effect 4 july 2018 and that the n1 city store manager should call and update their system. Anele advised they had a problem with ram couriers and the device was returned to the shop. I told the manager anele that i dont care they messed up. He said he will contact his manager darryl or david skylar to confirm if he can cancel and if he cant a new device will be given to me. I gave him until the 5 june 2018 and was then advised he cant cancel nor can replace the device as it needs to be tested. He promised that he will send me rams tracking number but till today i have not heard anything from him. He said i will not be liable for any charges and i will not be charged as i dont have the device and have never used the sim. I complained on hello peter and spoke to moses who promised he will monitor and provide me with feedback but i still have not heard anything. I have call recording and voice recordings of all interactions with cellc and will be taking this matter further. Promises were made and not honoured. Not a single manager can assist. I want to cancel. I dont want anything i just want to cancel according to 2 managers at cell c anele and siphokazi i can cancel this pathetic service!

Cell C service and accounts

i have been struggling with cell c for over 2 months to get my accounts sorted. it started when a cell c agent contacted me to do an upgrade on my one line in April, on the same day i phoned back to cancel the upgrade as i did not want to wait 7 days for the device to be delivered, i advised the agent that i will go in store to do the upgrade, they advice me that the cancellation on the contract upgrade will take 48 hr, which i understand, this took 2 weeks to get the upgraded contract back to the way it was supposed to be. Pinicale 600 top up line. the upgrade was done to an open line and i was charged for the date and so forth used, which i understand, but this was not suppose to be an open line, as i said i struggled 2 weeks just for them to change it back to the top up line as there was delays upon delays at the service end which they could never tell me why, every time i phone in a new request it sent in which takes another 48hr, this is unexceptionable, i also requested on numinous times for a manager to call be back which till today has not happened. eventually after the line was fixed i get an account for almost double the contract amount i usually pay, and there excuse is that its a prorated amount for the upgrade that was done, which i cancelled on the same day i did the upgrade, i dont understand how i need to be charged for something i was constantly trying to fix but the fault was on cell c side. i also cancelled 3 contracts on the 12/5/2018, and was told the contract amount for June will only be a prorated amount as the contract is obviously not running a full month, now i get a statement and all the contracts are being charged the full amount? how is this possible if the contracts where cancelled and i was advised the contract will only be charged prorated amount as they are ending on the 12/6/2018, why am i paying the full contract amount if im not using the contract for a full month? this is unacceptable. when i spoke to an agent this morning i was very rudely "helped" with an attitude, and every time i said something she did not agree with she just said uhm uhm... who is this professional service? and again the manger is busy? how is this possible, that there is only 1 manege every time and is always unavailable. i want to know how this will be fixed and when. the way i see it cell c is stealing money

Cell C after sale customer service

It disappoints to see how inconsistent companies, who basically holds manoplies in our economy are when it comes to "Treating customers fairly".. I realise that mobile giants promises transparency in their company, yet they fail to deliver..

Incompetent staff
Unhelpful staff
Unfriendly staff

Unrealistic timelines
The incapability to communicate
And bad after sales services

To name only a few of my personal experiences..

What's truly sad is, as a individual these giants make you feel replaceable and unimportant in their gigantic pool of a customer base..

I will never do any business with CellC again as they in my opinion strive to disappoint without remorse or consequence..

The CellC in Mooirivier Mall - Potchefstroom grately contributed to the overall bad experience..

CellC's slogan might read "Connect your way", but that wide range of possibilities most definitely does not include connecting with respect, reasonable timelines, good communication or going the extra mile..

Cell C Cancellation of contract

Good day

I have tried canceling contract for [protected] many many times.

I was told to call today the 1June in order to be assisted.

I called numerous times! Only to be out back on hold several times till eventually the contact center closed after 5pm.

Glocell does this deliberately so that we have no choice but to continue with them, please help!

I want this contract cancelled.
