Mr. Parker has been harrassing me with continuous non-stop phone calls and also calling all neighbors asking for personal information on me. This is not only an act of harassment but also an invasion of my privacy. Mr. Parker is also harming my mental health.

I have sent a letter to the collection agency indicating to them that I will not deal with them and I am dealing with my creditor directly.

People beware!

Hi I have an issue now, I have a debt with amex that was referred to collection house australia, I made a mutual agreement to pay monthly installments and amex agreed to this as well, I get a letter in the mail by these prats (global vantedge) to say amex has referred my debt to them, why I ask do they have my debt now and collection house doesn't, and why has it been referred if I have a written mutual agreement about paying this debt off, and I haven't missed a payment.
Is GA dodgy? from what I am hearing it sounds like they are very unethical, I think I may be talking with a financial councellor to see what they think.

They called my house looking for someone who does not live here, they are rude, arrogant, threatening, harrassing, loud, obnoxious and any other term that you can give to an out of control jerk. They "spoofed" my caller id, which means they had a phone number (and area code) of someone that I know come up on my caller id instead of the number to where they are actually calling from. I do believe this is an illegal act. I refuse to give information without getting information on my own phone in my own home. I do NOT owe anyone anything and they will be stopping this harrassment.

Sue the grubs, provisions under the Commonwealth Criminal Code are more than adequate to deal with these types. Personal threats and harassment might be acceptable in India but not Australia. Remember, legal aid, is there for you if needed.

I've had a similar experience. Total harrassment for a bill that I'd never received due to a company error. Finally dug up the creditor's information and dealt with them directly, who was very apologetic and contrite over the mixup and the treatment.

This company is aggressive in their tactics. Called my Chinese neighbor who speaks minimal English to try and get me to call them back.

We also received a personal message from our neighbor and we asked our neighbor to give them our number so they can call us directly. Once they did I offered to take the message down for the individual they were trying to reach but the man demanded I give him my name I explained to him I will not give him my name all he needs to know is that I will take down message but I want telephone# and their fax number. The man gave me his number but refused to give me the fax number. I explained to him by law he has to intro his company name and number. If I want a fax as well their's no need for him to deny that from me and he still refused.
