My parents are also victims of this timeshare fraud. In September 2009, they received a phone call from Erica Matthews with Global Resort Condos Plus stating they had a buyer for their timeshare. After some conversation, she told my dad he would need to pay upfront fees of $2050.00. Dad was happy to sell the timeshare so not thinking any further about it talked with my mom and decided to give them the credit card info. They have bought and sold properties all their lives but somehow this didn't alert them. Please, please if you own property and are selling it you never have to pay $ upfront to close. It's always taken out of the proceeds. Or you submit the $ at closing, not before! Anyway, since that time, my mom has tried to contact all the parties they spoke with and no one is to be found. No phone numbers work anymore and until recently I could not find them on the internet.
You will get no where speaking with them. They are crazy! Jim was the latest idiot we spoke with and all he could do was curse and slam down the phone! It's a diversion to get you to give up. We have filed complaints with the Florida agencies and have also contacted the Texas agencies. We were told today by the Real Estate Commission's office in Texas that they have a stack of complaints on this company and will be forwarding them to the Attorney General's Office. We are considering filing a police report, too. Call everybody you can think of about this. All the government agencies and call the news media. That will be next!

I had been talked into selling my timeshare at Westgate Vacation Villas by Ashley Schaeffer (Cell: [protected]) who advised me that at no risk whatsoever, they would sell my timeshare, as they had a buyer. I checked in on numerous occasions, spoke with Ashley, and he advised that there was only 1 escrow requirement left for the buyer, and the timeshare would be sold in 3-4 days for $17, 500 US. I then left numerous messages, all which went unreturned. I contacted Global Resort Condos Plus at their number, which is now out of service. The $2, 050 that I paid is obviously lost. I am sick and tired of these US sheisters taking money of this nature. Is there no regulatory companies that oversee these companies? I checked on the website before I paid and there was no complaints, but now there are numerous ones. Live and learn. Never do business in the US again, as it is not the first time this has happened.

This is probably one of the biggest set of scam artists out there. These are the same people that have run Global Timeshares, resort condos plus, worldwide timeshares among some of their company websites. They start a new website every now and than so they can go back through their old customer databases and try to sign those people up again after about a year. They are located at 111 Gatlin Ave. Orlando, FL 32806, they used to be at 8046 Presidents Drive #B Orlando, FL 32809. The new company is listed under Kelly McNally and Marcel Hidalgo, but the real mastermind behind this scam is Joe Rogewitz. Their Telemarking license number is TC3664, with their old one being TC2806 anyone who has been scammed needs to go and file a complaint at the website of http://www.800helpfla.com/complnt.html . The corp info is listed under Resort Advertising Professionals, Inc. Whatever you do, DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. IF YOU PAID THEM, CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IMMEDIATELY AND FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE AG'S OFFICE AT http://myfloridalegal.com/Contact.nsf/Contact?OpenForm&Section=Economic_Crimes
