Gf InstituteI just recieved this in my mail today

1 Review updated:

I received a notice of a grant approval for $25, 000. 00. The notice included a [protected] phone number to call and confirm the notice along with a release code. The phone provided rings busy and does not answer.
I am still trying to make contact before the expiration of the initial 36 hourr from receipt.See Top 10 Worst Companies in Kansas City, KS
Is there any other phone number to contact and if so is this notice a scam or are they an original government source for grants.
My present home phone number for contact is [protected] and my e - mail address is: [protected]@yahoo.com.
Can you please send me a response to this complaint i provided to you concerning this message.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Luis a. Almodovar

I THINK ITS A SCAM!! ANYTHING THATS ASKES YOU TO PAY TO GET A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY IS FAKE AND YOU SHOULDNT GIVE ANYMORE INFORMATION TO THEM SPECIALLY YOUR CREDIT CARD...I GOT THE SAME LETTER WITH A DIFFERENT PHONE # [protected] AND WHEN I CALLED IT HAD A RECORDING ALSO THAT IT WAS CLOSE...HEARING FROM YOU GUYS I ALREADY CAN TELL IS A SCAM!!

I have recieved the same letter, but I have not called because upfront I thought it was a scam. The number for me to call is [protected]. The first red flag for me is why would I be getting something for a government grant from another state, especially so far away! If any of you find any other information please send me an email and let me know thanks. [protected]@yahoo.com

My father who is disabled received something different. He received an invoice (so I am assumin somehow he paid them) for a Book that cost $59 + $10 s&h. The numbers on this page are [protected] for Customer Service and [protected] for help in writing the grants. Of course when I call they are all disconnected. This letter was dated 7/13/09. BEWARE
