My husband was scammed today in the K-Mart parking lot by a young man who was happened to have an extra Home Thearter system that he was selling for cheap because the client he was installing for decided he only needed 3 not 4. My husband was with our 3 year old daughter when this man approached him telling him he would sell it for cheap so he could stay in the area a little longer before heading back to Federal Way, WA. We are in Spokane, WA. he was driving a white van and had plenty of paperwork to show to my husband that made it all look so dang legitmate. My husband explained to this man that we are having a hard time financially right now and really couldn't afford to purchase it. I am not sure what exactly this man said to convince my husband to spend the last little bit of money we had but he did. My husbands intentions were to flip it and we make a profit out of it. Imagine our surprise when we investigage the product and find out it is not worth S**T! Needless to say we are not happy people right now and want to go ride around until we find this jerk and get our money back. He only got us for a little under $200 but when it is the last of your money it might as well be a million. Somehow this jerks have to be stopped!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I need to buy one G505 model to return a broken piece i damaged for a friend. I need the amplifier for sure in new condition.
I know about the scam, but need to return it as i took it.

i actually plugged them in to a 200 watt reciever and they worked fine

Hahahahahaha that's one of the oldest tricks in the book, selling merch (either stolen or utter pieces of garbage) out of a trunk or back of a van. Your hubby SHOULD have checked out the merch first, in front of the guy selling it. But all your hubby could see were dollar signs in his eyes...which not only makes him smart as a rock and gullible, but greedy as well.
I sincerly hope he is not the main decsion maker in the family, and if he is, it more than explains why you guys are so tight on money.
They claim the warehouse is in Canton, but you will not find it because it probably dosen't exist. Tell him to kiss the money goodbye. This is a fake company. They have a website, but you can't find a phone number or even order directly from them. This is the "white van scam". Genesis media labs sells poor quality audio equipement which will not work or will in a short time break. Stuff probably made in China for pennies on the dollar. Genesis Advanced Technologies is a real company that sells real audio equipment and many people think Genesis Media Labs is this company. They are two different companies. Media Labs makes money because of the "Genesis" name. Award Audio in St Clair Shores sells the real Genesis brand. Maybe they know about Gensis Media Labs scam? Trust me this is a real scam. One of my closest friends fell for this and he has a high profile occupation. One of his friends gave him a set of speakers for free and he wanted to sell them. I hope I can convince him otherwise since he wants me to sell them. Genesis Media Labs and their products are as real as a three dollar bill.
Does anyone have current address for the Michigan location? My buddy got scammed pretty good and he's trying to track them down within 3 days to attempt a refund. Thx.
